I would not recommend Anytime Fitness. I was lied to on more than one occasion and I was overcharged three times. When I discontinued services with them I had to pay additional administrative fees and didn't know why! I personally had constant problems with them!

I had been a member for years but I was moving away and tried to cancel my membership. Was told by a close anytime fitness that I had to do it through this specific location. I tried to come a couple of times during business hours but they were never there. I then tried to call and left messages asking to get a hold of someone. After numerous attempts I finally called and told them that I would be blocking them from my bank and still got no call back. Worst experience I have ever had with a gym customer support and will definitly not recommend using there service unless you want to deal with paying for a gym that can not even call loyal customers back.

Been a member for about two years. Had an upcoming deployment with the National Guard, so I wanted to cancel my account for a few months. Walked in about noon. Three employees on duty, one was talking with a buddy over by the weights. The other two were in the new customer office, and when I asked to cancel my account, claimed they couldn't do it as they were having a staff meeting. Obviously not, if the door is open and your employee is off chatting, then you're clearly not busy. He then tried to get me to take a business card and call him to schedule an appointment, as they only do customer business by appointment. I politely but firmly dropped off my keyfob right then and there and told him I would call my bank to stop payment. Which I did.

I was originally planning on being a customer again after my deployment. Their grossly unprofessional behavior ruined that. They have lost a customer for life.

I love this gym! The trainers are great, there's tons of cool equipment, and everyone I've met has been super nice. A lot of the trainers are competitive body builders and know tons about nutrition, and are always willing to help. I just moved to Reno a few months ago and this gym is my favorite place.

I signed up here because it was a stone's throw away from my home. And now that I am living further away...I go out of my way to come specifically to this Anytime. Both Kevins and Maddy are positive, motivating, and inspirational, and do not hesitate to help me achieve my fitness goals. I have never been to a gym with a vibe quite like this in the 6 years I have resided in Reno/Sparks. Reading some of these reviews, I'm a little perplexed as to whom could have a negative experience. The equipment is great, and the staff are helpful....sounds like you're the problem?

I feel like I've gotten to know the staff and the fellow patrons to the point that every time I walk in, it's an episode of "cheers." The facility has everything a person needs, and what I really love about Anytime, is that it is an international chain of gyms. As someone who travels a lot, it is good to know that you have a membership just about anywhere.

I would highly recommend Anytime fitness; but more importantly, the Anytime in Northtowne. Thank you Kevin, Keven, and Maddy for creating such a motivational experience.

Irresponsible owner, never cares to answer the phone. Doesn't care to give you a call back. As soon as you are a member, and commit to their contract. They can care less about you. Reason why i went to go cancel my policy, and as i was about to tell him. He stated he had to go, to sign a form and leave it under his door. Did not even care to loose a customer, or do anything to keep me happy and keep his business running. On top of that, he didn't even cancel my policy. I was still charged, try calling thousands of times. Tried coming in, and he was never there.Always have problems with charging my account more then what my monthly premium is He really ruins anytime fitness reputation.

Both Kevin's that train here are amazing. They are dedicated to their clients and go the extra mile to really push you. Kevin really focused on correcting my form and pushed me to my absolute limit. I would recommend these guys to anyone. I'm seeing results I never would have dreamed of. Thanks guys!

The trainer keven kavanaugh was extremely rude and kicked me out on my 2nd day of the 7 day free trial for no apparent reason. He raised his voice to me and said "you are no longer allowed to work out here, so leave". I was in shock I have never been talked to too this way especially since I was still new to the gym. I am telling everyone to not attend this gym because of it's terribly rude staff, the awful equipment, and the gym environment is the worst I've seen it. They have no respect for people and treat everyone with a tone of a child. I also am bigger than the trainer in there so clearly that gym isn't working for him. They also said "they don't need my money because they have enough people already". What kind of business talks in this tone. In conclusion this is absolutly the worst gym I have ever been to.

MOST EXPENSIVE ANYTIME FITNESS IN RENO IS LEAST EQUIPPED
$40 per month for no amenities and very limited equipment (I'm talking lines for the machines you have to pretend are the bench presses they don't have). $20 late and fob fees. Minimum 12 mo. contract. This club constantly has fights/issues caused by people using several machines simultaneously, sometimes for a couple of hours. I've been lifting for over a decade at dozens of gyms and I've never seen it happen even once anywhere else. There are no time limits in place to prevent this despite the amount of times they've had to deal with this problem.
