The worst manager ever. RYAN… where do I begin. Troy was the previous manager, he was helpful and helped me put my son’s account on hold while he was in football. Troy had since left, good ol Ryan works there now and REFUSES to help my son or myself properly close out the account or put it on hold. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS GYM. ITS ALWAYS DIRTY AND THEY SCAM YOU WHEN YOU CANCEL THROUGH “their process”.

A little small and crowded at peak hours, but 24 hour access so I go at odd hours with non problem. Equipment is mostly somewhat dated, could use more barbells to avoid a recurrent search for what you're looking for. Some machines go weeks without repair, the small drinking fountain has been broken for 3 months now. Some elliptical machines look like they're 80's era, so they should spend some $$ and update these and other equipment. Otherwise it's cheap, 24 hour access, has showers & lockers, and gives you the basics of a descent workout. The only normal gym I know of in the Robb Dr. exit area too.

i have been going to eagle fitness over two years now. the gym is kept clean and the staff is sometimes nice. one thing i’m starting to see is people (young kids) break equipment and the machines don’t get fix for MONTHS! at 5pm good luck trying to get a workout in. many people will com up and ask “how many more sets”

What a joke of a business. This place is extremely unprofessional. I went in and cancelled my membership since I was moving. It was cancelled and wasn’t charged for months. I then get a notice from my bank stating a 60 dollar charge and a 14 dollar charge from this place. Once again already cancelled. Reached out to eagle fitness and apparently they “don’t have the cancellation” and won’t refund it, plus they are going to keep on charging me until I send them another cancellation. This place is a JOKE! Unless you like grabbing your ankles with your pants down with no lube don’t even give this place an ounce of thought of your time.

Went in to cancel my membership in June, which is when they charge their annual fees. They refused to waive my annual fee even tho I hadn’t been to the gym in months.
Then I had fraud use on my credit card, which changed the payment on my account. Talk about timing. Eagle fitness then decided that because I didn’t pay for the month of July my account cancellation notice was invalid. So they proceeded to charge me for august and balance due fees, then they sent it to collections.

All the while I thought my account was closed. Like I requested.

Ultra convenient spot if you are in Mogul / Verdi side of Reno. Staff is always super nice and helpful (Lexi is great!) and there are plenty of machines, cardio equipment, stretching room to break a sweat. Plus, the dues are phenomenal, as in extremely reasonable.

I have been a member at Eagle Fitness for a few years now. I have referred friends, which reduces your monthly membership cost by $5. I continue to go to this gym because it is extremely cheap, but the gym also has a wide variety of machines, free weights, and racks. Everytime I walk in it is noticable that the gym is kept very clean. The only reason I would give Eagle Fitness 4 stars is because of the overall size of the gym. It is a fairly small gym, which makes it more difficult to complete a workout during peak hours.

I've been coming to this gym for about two years now and I am extremely pleased with everything from the assortment of free weights and machines to the friendly and helpful staff. I also love that they give you the opportunity to refer your friends to the gym and have your monthly dues decreased with referral, especially with the rise in prices from gas to rent they make it available for me to continue chasing my health and fitness goals. If you are looking for a gym with a little bit of everything that also doesn't burn a hole through your wallet and favorite pair of jeans located in sparks or northwest I urge you to try eagle fitness. :)

7 nights a week this place is full of 15-30 unruly high school kids with major attitude problems. They come in groups using one card to scan in then open the door for more kids to get in later. They completely misuse and abuse the equipment. Machines are constantly broken because of them. They've even damaged the ceiling by throwing things at the tiles. They're not there to workout. This gym is a high school hang out spot for these jerk children. They're always roughhousing and bumping you too.

I've left and come back 2 or more hours later so that I don't have to deal w/ them and they are still there hanging out. THE MAJORITY OF THESE KIDS GET IN FOR FREE and hog the equipment. MANAGEMENT IS AWARE OF THIS AND HAS DONE NOTHING. The problem gets worse each week. And the little guy that works on Saturday also lets them in without a card!
I no longer go to eagle fitness.

I'm sharing my father's frustration and anxiety in which how crooked of a business they operate. My father 79 years old hasn't been in that building for 2 years. His bank card was replaced and they continued billing him until in ran up 2 years of charges and turned him into collections. They have zero empathy and for their clients. A true business person wouldn't have a process in place for years that can affect people in a negative way, while they profit. They were also closed during Covid with zero communication via email, you were told to follow them on FB. Well, my 79 year old father doesn't follow FB. This is about the principle on the way they run their business. It's not about the money , but they let us know we could pay $540, write a letter for cancelling, and they would only charge us another month. I'll continue letting everyone know of their bad business practices. Read all the other reviews about the same experiences.

The facility itself is just ok, usually busy and usually dirty. The environment was surprisingly unfriendly from the get go. More so than just your usual gym scaries. There is almost never staff there, which made it very difficult to cancel my membership as they only allow you to do so in person or by mailing in a request for cancellation only to be honored 30 days past post mark. The cancellation process in and of itself should deter you from this place. Gym also not always open at 4/5am, very frustrating when you show up and your key fob just won't work when they are advertised as 24 hours. Overall just not impressed. I would recommend spending a little more for something better.

I tried to cancel my membership and learned a lot about the fine print that they don't disclose when you sign up. The gym was closed during the pandemic and I needed to cancel. I sent a letter on April 2020 requesting to cancel and received no return response until I started getting calls from a collection agency. Evidently the fine print in the contract says that you can only cancel in person using their specific form. Not sure how that works when they are closed and you are moving out of the area. I would have appreciated a response to my letter but instead I got referred to a collection agency. I paid all of the "delinquent" fees and feel obligated to warn others. Read the fine print and don't give them access to your bank account or credit card. Communication in general is poor and I saw no evidence that they care about their customers.

The gym itself is okay with semi modern equipment. the only thing that I find annoying is the fact that nobody seems to rack the weights in the proper places. So you constantly find yourself removing 5 lb, 10 lb,.25lb, 35 lb, weights just to get to a 45lb weight. You sometimes have to go halfway across the gym just to get the necessary weight that you need for your workout. Reminds me of a high school gym. But worse cuz nobody seems to care about racking the weights in the proper places.

but since it was the closest - did the mistake of signing with initiation fee.

when they reopened after the covid crisis, they did not email any of the members. i have realized that only after looking at a debit on my card.

Good value gym, easy access and equipment well maintained. I appreciate the Veterans discount, one of the reasons I chose Eagle Fitness. I use the Reno location, I have not been to the Sparks location. I hope they will open another facility somewhere in South Reno. They have well attended Yoga classes. Solid options for personal trainers (if you want to pay for one). Can get crowded from 6pm to 7pm, but pretty empty otherwise. I like the 24 hour access, I can go whenever I want to avoid the crowds.

They offer the necessary and required which in any gym is more than enough. I’ve encoutered rude employees but who hasn’t, I’ve encoutered great employees. I’ve worked out in all 3 locations. And I’ve been there for over 2 years now. I was told if someone signs up that you recommended and they continue to have a working payment then you would receive $5 off of the next month tell the recommended choose to not attend. I had signed up my girlfriend months 6 months ago and still they have not given me the $5 off a month from just my account. I’ve confronted them on this mater and every time I ask they say they’ll resolve it and here I am month so later paying $22 a month even though I was told I’d receive the bill for less than $15.

I’m a local resident and have been going here for a little over 2 years now. It’s a lot smaller than most gyms, from what I’ve heard, and doesn’t have a sauna or pool, but to me, it’s just perfect and fits all my needs to keep fit for the price I pay! The equipments here are kept tidy and maintanenced for any damage, which is insanely awesome. The front desk people are always so kind and nice. Always say hello and goodbye when I enter and leave. The classes they provide are accommodating to my schedule and have very kind instructors, probably my favorite ones are Zumba and yoga with all the instructors. Additionally, I like how clean the bathrooms are. My two complaints about this gym is that people coming here can be lazy and not wipe down equipment or not put the weights away and people sneaking friends in during after hours. However, the staff does a good job anyway of putting away equipment for them and from my understanding, they’re taking measures to prevent the latter issue. Overall, I’m impressed with this gym and the staff and would recommend them.

I chose this gym because it is just a couple blocks from home which makes excuses to not work out harder. I can pay month to month, attend any of the variety of classes and use my club card to unlock the door after hours. Gym has gone to hell, way overcrowded and everything is broken or filthy. They added a fitness room off to the side but of course you can't use it if you want, waste of space. Had the pleasure of visiting the new Eagle Fitness in Sparks, well I can see where the money is going, that gym is done right. The one in NW reno is just way to small.

Nice gym, small but it has a great view.
No extras, no extravagant amenities but if you just want a place to run or life or occasionally take a class. This is the spot for you.

Awesome small family owned gym. Not usually crowded wish is nice. Just make sure your not there after work hours, that's when it's packed.
