Dave is the most knowledgeable trainer I have ever worked with. His dedication to the industry is unmatched. From him making you a complete meal plan, to knowing how to make the biggest impact on your workout sessions, his skills are spectacular.

I would highly recommend Dave to anyone looking for a personal trainer to help you achieve, and surpass, your goals.

He listens to you and acknowledges you if you are having aches, pains and injuries. He is not the stereotypical “Personal Trainer” who just puts you through the motions and makes you “push” through any issues you may have, while working out, causing you to potentially injure yourself even more.

I’ve been working out off and on for years. It’s really my least favorite thing to do and I only do it for my health. I know I need to do it I just really don’t like it at all. Dave is patient and understanding but also helps you establish long and short term fitness goals so each workout feels like a step in the right direction. I’d recommend him to anybody looking to start a program, figure out where they should be or just to get over a sticking point.

The best money I’ve ever spent. The perfect blend of challenge and support. I absolutely hate working out but Dave makes it fun, even if he does add planks to every session :( …. Amazing! This gym has all the things the bigger sports clubs have, without the crowds and drama. It’s absolutely loaded with the best equipment including kettlebells, bands, turf, free weights and everything you could possibly want in a gym. I had been diagnosed with being prediabetic along with my cholesterol and triglycerides being off the chart in late May 2021. (Basically I let myself go during the pandemic and it caught up to me).

I was referred to Dave Vaughn from a good friend and I started my training with him on July 22, 2021. As you can see from the Body Composition Test Results, my body fat % was 28.1% and I weighed 192.4 lbs. I worked with Dave 3 days a week and he provided me with a recommended meal plan.

Three months later my Body Composition Test Results showed 21.2% body fat % and my weight dropped to 185.6 lbs (As I am writing this I am currently at 181 lbs and my body fat is at 18%). More importantly, my blood work results all came back normal. In fact, my doctor couldn't believe the results he was seeing and asked what I did to get such amazing and fast results. I told him it was Dave Vaughn and Forget The Gym Training that made the difference.

I contacted this business on Saturday afternoon. A guy named Dave sent me a text saying that he would contact me on Sunday morning. On Sunday I didn't receive a call so I attempted to call. No one answered, and some time later I received a text saying that I would receive a call that evening. It never happened. On Monday, Dave had his wife call me, I hung up. If you can't find time within two days to contact a potential client then I can't trust you for training.
