This is by far my favorite hot yoga place to go to. They are just intuitive and smart and lead a really good class. Beginners I would start at 60 Minutes once you get the flow down go to 90. I like them Pure Bikram classes, but Jan is deep soft stretching, which is nice as well. He will be challenged, but it’s the same flow every time so it’s pretty fun! I’m gonna get back in my rhythm very soon plus they have tons of cute yoga wear and yoga mats and you can rent yoga mats there. Highly recommend.

I have been attending JBY on and off for four years as a frequently visitor to Reno, including a two month stay that I just finished. There are lots of first timers in almost every class, which makes for a welcoming environment.

The studio is so good. The teachers are excellent and help you gently develop your practice, the temperature and humidity of the room are consistent and enhance practice, the showers and locker rooms are clean and well-stocked for locals and visitors. Between the three studios, there are a lot of classes. The set flows are well thought out and allow for flexibility and adaptation. Prices are reasonable. Customer service is great.

JBY is a huge asset to the Reno area. Thank you to the owner, Turie, Rochelle and Megan for helping make my stay 10/10.

Go join a class!

My first experience here was not welcoming. I had to wait in line for several minutes just to get checked in, then no one told me where to go, where to put my stuff, what props I needed, or where to find those props. I couldn't find any yoga mats to borrow. The class started over 5 minutes late and ended right after we started savasana, in the middle of the pose. The rest of the yin class itself was fine, but I spent the whole time ruminating on how weird my introduction to the place.

My sister-in-law and I were visiting from a low altitude/high humidity area, so we underestimated how long it would take us to jog the 2 miles to the studio. We ended up making it literally right at class start time, and asked if it was too late for us to drop in for the session, totally assuming we had missed our chance. (Understandably!) But after a quick round of questions from the staff they found a way for us to sign our waivers, participate in the class and sort out the payment details afterwards. What a fantastic experience- the class was strong and the sweat was much appreciated!! Wish we lived closer, this would 100% be our regular studio. πŸ’œ

I am so fortunate to have found this fine establishment and the Bikram series. It is clean. The receptionists are all nice and helpful. The instructors are all well educated in their craft. Just remember to breathe. Namaste πŸ™πŸ»

I absolutely love juice box yoga. Their hot Pilates classes are my favorite. I love how the beginning and the end of class starts with a short meditation/positive words. The music is great, the instructors are uplifting and motivating, and the energy in every class is amazing. Going to hot Pilates is one of my favorite parts of my week! I always leave every class feeling badass and clear minded and ready to tackle the rest of my day. I highly recommend juice box to anyone who is looking to get a good sweat and workout on, get in a good mindset, and have fun. LOVE!!!!

I'm from out of town and was looking for a hot yoga class to take while in Reno. I ended up taking Stitch's 90 min Bikram Pure Beginner's hot and LOVED it! The instruction was great - disciplined, warm, and clear. Upon arrival, the front desk greeted me by name and made me feel very comfortable. If I lived here, I would definitely be back for more!!

This is a really nice studio. The hot yoga is rigorous, and not for everyone, but it's absolutely worth a try (two weeks for $20 for newbies). They also have some really nice warm yin classes. My favorite instructor is Christine who teaches hot yoga and yin, and just radiates warmth, sincerity, and calm. I took several friends and family to her warm yin class, and it was very therepeutic for them. For one visiting friend who had never done yoga of any kind, it was the perfect intro class, and she went searching for yin yoga when she got home. I stopped attending Juice Box before COVID closed things, but I hope Christine is still there, and appreciated the time I spent at the studio (a few months off and on). They're not affordable for me outside of specials, but they do have specials sometimes.

Tips: Keep spare towels and extra clothes in your car. You need a towel to practice, and you may want one for after you shower. They have really nice showers with products (soap and lotion) that will leave you relaxed/smelling nice. If it's your first class, don't push too hard, and opt for yin or beginner bikram.

I started going to JBY around two and a half years ago. At the time, I was a bit overweight, severely out of shape and a bit miserable. JBY gave me a sense of wellness again, that has radically changed my life. I’m in the best shape of my life now, largely thanks to the JBY community and motivation all the instructors provide. I love this place.

Everyone can benefit from participating in this program. There are classes for beginners and advanced athletes. They specialize in hot workouts, so you should plan to be well-hydrated and to sweat. It is NOT extreme, it's a method - the heat contributes to your overall workout. The teachers are AMAZING - so educated, encouraging and inspiring. I know the idea of these workouts is intimidating, but the teachers and staff ease your nerves, prepare you well, and coach you the whole way. It's also an addictive practice - no other yoga method than Bikram is adequate. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Heal your body from the inside out.

Both good and bad

The good: the place really kicks you bum into high gear. I loved the Pilates and how motivating it was to work out for 60 minutes in the hot room, the instructors were good. I especially liked the owner, she was real and I found her human and funny.

The bad: weird inauthentic vibe from some of the staff. After spending a class being told 'don't give up, your best is always enough' and other such words of encouragement, i overheard the staff speaking about others in a really competitive, judgemental way, making me reconsider their intention. Are the courses you offer about beating your neighbour's goal? Personally I don't think anyone person or business should be endorsing a philosophy of competition, whether they say it behind closed doors or not, that's not the kind of energy you wanna carry around and even less so that you wanna bring through the doors of a yoga studio.

in conclusion: good workout, good teachers but a bit superficial. Overhearing them made me realize this is what people meant when they told me not to support bikram yoga, known to some as the 90210 of yoga.

Thanks for the classes tho! Keep up the good work but keep the judgement and the competition to .:: well to nowhere, The world's got enough of that as it is :)

FANTASTIC! Great teachers, wonderful program. If you are looking for a challenging and inspiring workout, this is the place. The 90 minute sessions seem very long at the time, but when I'm finished I FEEL ENERGIZED.
