TLDR: Nice environment but beware of the upsells in the room
My friend and I recently went here to get facials to treat ourselves. We got there early to enjoy the facilitates before our scheduled time. I chose the signature facial and really enjoyed my tech. When in the room, they will offer some additional services not included in the price. I wish I had just stuck to what was included. I had been looking at one of the masks before, so when the tech told me it was $60 I figured I can add that no problem. The facial went well and I felt relaxed when I came out.
The problem was when it came to pay. Remember that mask? Well, it was a 3 part mask... and each part was $60. I had also added a peel, but then there was something else the tech said she was tossing in for free (maybe a polish) that wasn't even shown on the services slip I was shown, but then added to the bill (another $100). So on top of an already expensive service with included gratuity, I paid more than I had already budgeted for. While I did enjoy the facial, it was not worth that and I was out more than I had allotted for this splurge. I wish I had just stuck to the included services

Do not book an appointment over the phone. Even after confirming everything the day before you may show up and be told they have nothing for you. And this is with being a hotel guest. Normally I wouldn’t care so much but I have an important event that is time sensitive which is why I booked ahead. Plenty of other options in Vegas otherwise. Also, this experience ruined wanting to spend any additional money at this venue. I was planning to check out the poker room but instead will probably head back to Venetian or other places to play.

I had an amazing experience at the MGM Grand Salon. I was in town for a wedding and needed both hair and makeup done. Kat cut and styled my hair, and did my makeup as well! I received SOOOO many compliments, especially on my makeup! I couldn't recommend Kat more. She was kind and provided a great service. I will definitely be back again in the future.

Salon Receptionist was highly agitated by questions I was inquiring about their services. Giving me confusing information, rejecting to take my booking because I am asking for product clarification that will be used 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ she wants me to commit for service with payment while she doesn’t know and can’t answer if they have a product to do the service.
Ridiculous attitude

Johanna Just give me the most life-changing deep tissue massage I’ve ever had. I am from Tampa and I was skeptical on how the massage was going to be.. I am very picky on how I like my massage especially when I want a true deep tissue massage… and due to me being from out of town and boy when I tell you, I will literally fly to Vegas JUST to go get a massage from her. I WILL!! She has hands that HEAL! I feel like weight has been lifted off of my shoulders literally. Johanna is the girl! Deep tissue massage!

Arlene the aesthetician is very deceiving and manipulative in her attempt to upsell you. I booked an anti-aging 50 minute facial that priced at $180 but my bill ended up being almost $700. Upon entering I was wearing my undergarment and blouse because I knew I had booked only a facial but then Arlene asked me to remove my items because she will be doing my neck and decolle and I specifically asked her if it was included with selected facial and she said yes but it wasn't so I was fraudulently billed for that. Second she offered the hydrafacial which before agreeing I asked if it would add additional time to my 50 minute duration and she said no but at the end of my time I received a pamphlet that stated it's a 30 minute enhancement and I did not receive a 120 minute service hence I was fraudulently charged and robbed of the service time I was charged for. Bottom lime if a customer books a specific service complete specific service and not uncharged the bill, maybe because it's Las Vegas and maybe most customers come in there intoxicated and not fully aware of what is going on or maybe don't review bill but this sould not be happening this is bad business practices and reportable to better business bureau. Bad karma and bad vibes will make their way to Arlene for having lied and having taken advantage of innocent customers. Management needs to retrain and inform aestheticians to be transparent of charges BEFORE completing the service not SURPRISING AT THE END when it's too late.

Starting with the positives. Spa was lush and clean. They value privacy which is refreshing. That’s it for positives. Lisett was my masseuse however as she did not introduce herself I only found that out when I decided to give some immediate feedback. Within 10 minutes of starting the massage her cell phone went off (buzzing only) you could tell it was a text as it was a short buzz followed by a repeat shortly after. Then about 5 minutes later there was a call coming in with the buzzing lasting about 2 minutes followed shortly with a third buzz round indicating a VM was left. That was a bit annoying as I specifically left mine in the locker to enjoy and relax only to have her phone going off. The massage itself was sub par. Not at all worth the cost of a 50 minute massage. At no time did she ask if the pressure was ok. For the most part it was fine except for some tender areas around my lower back - which by my sounds of pain should have been a clue. She really pressed extremely hard when using her elbows. Then the phone started going off again. It was apparent that during my session she was distracted I’m guessing by the calls & texts coming in. Also after the last batch of buzzing she said she was done ( 10 minutes earlier than the other two who booked with me were done) I have had many massages and have never had a session interrupted/distracted by their personal phone. Only 2 stars based on spa appearance, cleanliness and staff. Massage is not good.

The massage I received was likely the best I've ever had. I believe his name was Jarrell and he was GREAT. 10/10 for certain. But other areas need some attention. I didn't see anyone tidying up or working in the women's locker room the entire time I was there. Certainly could have missed them, but there were used linens in showers and stalls - just kinda yuck. Most concerning was the sauna appeared to be covered in some sort of mold - it was white and frothy looking. No idea what was going on in there but it needs a deep cleaning ASAP.

The spa itself is very nice. It’s clean, spacious and offers privacy areas for modest clients. Plenty of amenities & squeaky clean showers. Sauna was wonderful! Front desk personnel were inviting, pleasant and professional. They created a very welcoming experience. My masso therapist deserved one star however…….. I had ordered a custom massage and she needed continuous redirection to concentrate on my three requested areas. Additionally she NEVER stopped talking during the session. She gave me a step by step account of her experience taking care of her mom as her health declined. I redirected the one sided “convo” multiple times to imply I would like to relax & possibly snooze during my session but she kept talking. I refused to reply to her finally at all hoping she’d get the hint. Nope! Aside from blatantly coming out and telling her to zip it, she wasn’t getting the hint that her conversation was ill timed & unwelcome during a “relaxation hour.” I left feeling stressed and disgruntled. I won’t return to this location. I realize everyone has issues in life they need to vent, however when someone pays $200 to forget their own daily grind for an hour, STOP TALKING!!

This has the potential of bring a 4 or 5 star. I had a skilled masseuse but she was quite unfriendly and unhappy. The jacuzzi wasn’t working. I was told the spa would close at 4 but in the middle of my steam session at 3:30 an attendant came in and told me they were closed. When I asked to speak with management they confirmed that I could use the facilities until 4. All this for a steep price with a prepaid gratuity at 20 percent. For the money I would recommend you go somewhere else even if you are staying at the MGM.

I will start by saying the massage ladies were amazing and our massages were pretty great. Staff doing our pedicures were also super nice and seem to do a great job as well. It did stink to realize only after paying and arriving downstairs that the spa is separated by men’s and women’s. We weren’t aware there was not a joint area for those that book the couples experience.
The reason for 2 stars is despite the great staff my husband came home with athletes foot directly after 😬 we thought it was peeling from the spray they use during the pedi but it quickly took over his full foot. We also did not use the pool so we’re positive it came from the spa. When we called they did comp his pedicure but he now has to work in 100 degree weather in work boots with his foot covered by athletes foot until the medicine kicks in. Super disappointing end to an almost 800$ experience.

My husband and I had a couples massage. We loved it. We also got to spend some time in the spa area. Hot tob, sauna, steam room and areas you can relax. They have showers with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. They also have lotion and makeup remover. The only thing I would love to have is maybe a coed area so if you have a couples massage, you can relax before and after with your husband/wife. This is the 2nd time we have gone and it won't be the last. You can go to the spa if you aren't staying there. You just pay and you have the day.

Been coming here for years. It's a decent enough spa but in comparison to other spas in area, due for a renovation. Honestly, pretty surprised that they haven't scheduled one or completed one at this point. if and when that happens, I would definitely hope to see some type of cold therapy tub or room. At my current visit the tile around the hot tubs are cracked and flex when you walk on them. For the last couple of years, the hot tub itself is either out of commission or not functioning properly. During my current visit, and at my last two prior, it operates with the water level only about 70% full. Their spa menu has dwindled from what it once was, which makes me sad because I love the place. They used to offer body scrubs completed on a shower table, cupping, private spray tans, 5-day day passes, etc, All have disappeared from the menu of services over the years. With so many spas as an option in Vegas, I feel like they really need to make some changes to make this place special again. The spa advertises to be open until 6 PM but the guy on the men's side shut down the sauna and steam room at 5:30 the other night and when my husband asked to have it turned back on he declined. The service providers on the other hand are consistently excellent. Sammy, in the men's spa is phenomenal. I have never had a bad facial or massage here. They're all extremely knowledgeable and superior at their craft. I will continue coming, but I definitely hope to see some improvements in the coming years.

The spa at the MGM is decent. The spa area includes a hot tub, steam room, dry sauna, and lounge (with drinks, snacks, and TVs). I do wish they had a cold pool, though. The massage was excellent - I only wish I'd done it on the last day of my trip out there, since it knocked me out!!

Stayed in Vegas for a convention at another hotel that didn't have spa service available. MGM offered the services at median price but since my convention was in the same location it was a win win. I disappeared later in the convention after reserving a hydrofacial a few days prior. It winded up to be $300 but loved it. The lady who did my facial was awesome and knowledgeable. First time doing any type of spa for myself the tech made me feel comfortable and explained before and during so I knew what to expect. Constantly checking to make sure I was OK and added home advice for maintaining healthy skin. My face was so clean and glowing when I left and I haven't seen my pores look so good. If you wee early to the appt you can relax in the jacuzzi, suna, steam room, or just sit and watch TV. You have e access to these services some time after the appt as well. The hydrofacial was amazing and I highly recommend. From now on I am doing spa treatments especially a hydrofacial every couple months from now on. 3 weeks later and my skin is still amazing and easier to maintain prevent blocked pores, acne, oil and dryness balance. With the advice I was provided by the tech I also finly invested in facial products to help with preventing wrinkles and roving the few I do have for F lines, daily cleasing, and hydration. Never looked back and feel so good. A must if you are in the area and worth it.

So i have good and bad for this
BAD- they need to give you more info when making a reservation for a couples massage. We wanted to experience the spa together and paid extra for what we thought was the route to do so, no… you get massages together and than you go your separate ways, kind of a bummer.
Next $400 for a 50 min massage/spa experience
Well our massage was 40 mins tops. I watched that clock like a hawk, they didn’t start till way after 3:10 and were done before 3:45. So much for a 50 minute massage. Do your research and go somewhere else.
The staff in the women’s area, were not helpful to my girlfriend at all, they walked her to her locker and that was it. No info no tour nothing.
Good- the 2 gentleman that we’re working in the mens area during our appointment time on 1/29/24 3:00pm
They were very helpful to me and gave me a tour and treated me like a new guest and I couldn’t thank them enough.
Overall $400 not well spent id say $200 would have been what i would actually pay if i ever wanted to go back there.
Probably wont though.
Do your research before making any purchases

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience. 😔
I was looking forward to pampering myself.
First my appointment was pushed back until 3pm.
Then told at 3 I could not get all the services I scheduled because they closed at 6.
I felt rushed. Told to carry my stuff around because the locker room would close.
I got a hudrafacial first.
It felt rushed. It was painful and the acid burned my skin. So painful days later.
I was told I could not get a baylange hair because of time, only single process.
I booked $500 worth of spa I never got to use, when I checked out my bill was $900. I looked terrible. My hair was orange at the roots. My skin was on fire and my $90 manicure consisted of a different color and some hand lotion.
So disappointed. It was a wellness trip.
Now we are road tripping back home and I look worse going home than when I arrived. Never felt important. I felt to be more of a hassle to everyone. Rushing to get home.
I hope you will make this right. I was apprehensive to leave a review but I think this was important enough. It’s worth complaining about. Or atleast in this case, this is important enough for me to defend myself.

Lovely day spent away from the buzz of the strip - well needed after a busy week. No communal area for couples - suprised to find after we had paid that men and women are kept separate in the spa. Turned out to be wuote nice that you could concentrate on relaxing. Lots of amenities- water, coffee, apples and magazines. Pool area clean, sauna could have been hotter but still lovely. Changing areas well looked after, showers lots of towels, razor and shampoo, conditioner and lotion provided. Hairdryer and straighteners, make up remover and hairbrushes.
We went out of pool season so didn't have swimsuits - Front desk only sell mens swimwear, shops close by were $180 for a pool party type swimsuit. We went to burlingtons nearby and kitted ourselves out for $20.

Have you ever reserved and paid for a service somewhere and they call you later and say oh we are charging more this day for blah nonsense event (in this case it was F1 racing that is the most irrelevant thing to a spa massage)? Well if you have not tried the MGM Grand Las Vegas Spa then you may get lucky and win yourself one of those opportunities. My wife reserved a massage session and we planned our day around that time only for them to later call and say oh we have increased our prices today for the completely unrelated event and forgot to update ( in other words forgot to maximize the amount we want to rip off people staying at our hotel). This level of unprofessionalism was a new low in my experience even for Las Vegas standards.

I booked a massage at the regular weekend rate, pre-paid and pre-tipped. As I was walking over to the spa they called me to inform me that the price I had already paid was no longer the "correct rate" for F1 weekend and that I would have to pay an additional $40 to keep my appointment, but that I could cancel "at no cost". I frequent this spa so was disappointed that this visit didn’t meet my expectations. My masseuse used her forearms for my custom massage 90% of the time which is highly unpleasant. I thought I’d at least enjoy the amenities but the sauna was not heating and the steam room set to a dangerously high temperature. I left feeling stressed. I call today and was happy to hear they would give me a complimentary day pass to used the amenities which they claim to have fixed. I enter the steam room and burn the back of my legs as I sat. I asked to speak to a manager and a supervisor is sent instead who offered some sort of $25 voucher to eat, I declined. I am out over $200 for a cheap excuse of a massage and burns on the back of my legs from a steam room that should be shirt down for safety and code violations. So sad.

I booked an 80 minute signature massage. The massage was ok and the therapist was very nice. For the price, however, I expected a much better spa experience. The spa is very much in need of an update. Multiple, half used toilet paper rolls were in the stalls - some on the floor, some perched on the dispenser, and some on the back of the toilet which definitely doesn't give a high class feel. There was a bin full of soiled linens in one of the small changing areas off the locker room. The speakers in the therapy room did not work ( and had apparently been out for days) so the therapist had to play music from her phone. Worst of all, the hot tub was not working and had apparently been broken and closed for days. We were told we could use the spa all day but why would we, the only thing working was the showers.
The hostess who gave the spa tour was speaking so quickly ( as she walked away from us) that we could not understand her.
Overall, a disappointment.

My massage with Nora was excellent. The facilities need updating, though. There seem to always be things out of stock or unkempt or unfunctional. This time toilet paper was not on the holders but just placed in the stall. The shower I used had no body wash but 2 shampoo and 2 conditioner. The lotion bottle was empty. These seem to be such easy things to correct. Lastly and most importantly, there was a woman on her cellphone and she had the caller on speaker phone, which was extremely disruptive to my relaxing experience. The staff should have asked her to get off the phone. She brought the phone into the sauna and even in to the shower. She was on the phone the entire duration to the point where I just ended up leaving. This is unacceptable for the staff to not say or do anything to that patron.

Last year 2022 my husband and I booked massages, separately by accident, and had the best experience. We enjoyed it so much that we made sure to book again but as a couples package. The private area is amazing, clean, staff is friendly, and we enjoy all they have to offer.
The reason for the 3 stars is because we both had the worst massages ever! We were both asked what special areas we wanted most work on or avoided and our masseuse completely ignored or requests. For my self it was extremely uncomfortable, awkward, and a waist of our money. The whole time I was being shaken back and forward, I even made comments to her to stop it was that awful. For my husband he was upset that his requests to spend time on certain spots were completely ignored. Not just that, they just rubbed oil all over us for 50 min.
I noticed that I turned over 10/15 min before my husband and somehow they finished at the same time.
Best to spend your money elsewhere or maybe do a separate message.

Had a pedicure and couples massage at the MGM Grand spa. I got a gel pedicure and paid for the extras like the scrub and body butter. The pedicure was good but not sure it was worth the price. I love that i was offered a mimosa during my pedicure. We were hoping to be offered a glass of something suring our massage, but all they offer is tea, coffee, and juice. The couples massage was wonderful though! They ask that you get there 30 mins before which allows you to use the jacuzzi tub, dry sauna, showers, etc. before your massage. My daughter's stuffed animal, Trevor, went on the trip with us and our masseuse was sweet enough to offer to take a picture of him with us. We definitely enjoyed the massages and will book again the next time we visit the MGM Grand.

Very friendly staff in the ladies spa. Overall very clean and spacious. We arrived 30 minutes prior and enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. My husband and I had a 50 minute couples massage and I added on the scalp massage service. It was by far the best massage I have ever received. I left feeling like a cloud and so relaxed. Thank you April, Theresa, and staff!

Extremely rude staff member kicking people out in the middle of their workout at 6 on the dot. I politely asked if I could finish my set and was met with a harsh “ITS CLOSED”. What kind of a resort hotel gym closes at 6 pm on a week day when it is slammed with people using it? I understand if someone else set the hours, but someone in hospitality should not be yelling at guests in the middle of their set. Find another job that is not customer facing. Avoid and go anywhere else on the strip.

Update: Never did hear back from the manager, lol.
Original Review: Tried to book services for my stay at the MGM Grand. Was on-hold for 30 minutes just to talk to someone. Wanted to book their fanciest spa experience (the Wellness Suite Experience) for me and my spouse, as we were looking for plenty of R&R during our trip. When I finally talked to someone, the woman could not remember any of my details, and I had to repeat myself multiple times. She then tells me one of her managers will call me back "within a week", as there are other people interested in the Wellness Suite when I am traveling (I gave her optional 5 days to schedule during my stay). I have not heard back from a manager, and my trip starts soon. I finally just booked at an off-site spa, which is the highest rated near the strip (5 mins away on Dean Martin). They answered their phone and the girl who answered gave me the time of day and booked me stat, even customizing my package and adding on whatever I wanted to the experience.
I love the MGM Grand; Its where I have always stayed in Vegas and I really wanted to spend a lot of time and money on resort, but I guess in this case, I am saving probably $1000 and supporting a local business instead. Fine by me. I will update this if they ever decide to call me back.

If I was able to put zero stars I would. From the start the receptionist were completely unprofessional and rude. The cost of my entire service was $300. I was outraged by the cost initially but I continued expecting quality. My wax service was terrible causing sever irritation from the heat of the wax and the multiple application of the wax product. I’m a regular in my hometown and was shocked by the amount of time it took to complete the wax (1.5 hours). If it wasn’t the awful wax service it was followed by going to the salon to be told mid appointment that I either had to choose a later time in the day or cancelled altogether because their tech didn’t show up to work. My overall experience was terrible and I was furious with the lack of professionalism and poor quality of the salon. I do not recommend. Definitely not worth the money.

No rack for squats, deadlifts, bench, etc. They have a Smith machine but it's a small gym so good luck getting a shot to use it.
Overall, the gym is "ok", but too small for an entire hotel.
The gym is included in your hotel costs and it's open 7am - 6pm (which was confusing because online the hours were listed under the Spa)
Triple the size of the gym, add in three squat racks, triple the plates, and then it'll be suitable.

So, I had a massage, mani pedi and haircut so I got a full experience of this location. The good: hair cut was great, LOVE my hair color and Johnathan was a lovely person to chat with and made me feel so comfortable. My mani pedi was nice. The chairs were mediocre (kind of uncomfortable to sit in), but the nail tech did a nice job. I would have liked another top coat, but I guess I should have asked... so that's on me.
The massage was great and the steam shower afterwards was awesome.
The bad: the facilty for the spa area is run down, much of the personnel are unknowledgable of the different areas in the spa and were not very helpful.
For the price, I was expecting a higher level experience. It was okay, but very disorganized with scheduling, helping their clients, etc. I have had way better experiences at a spa, but at a fraction of the price. The worst part is that we showed up for our massage, but because the person in front of us complained for 15 minutes, we weren't shown to our lockers or shown where to go, our massage was cut down to 25 minutes. And no one made any attempt to make it right. It was a disappointing experience.

Arrived at the spa early to take advantage of the amenities. Upon arrival there was a man working in the woman's spa area. I had to wait to change into my robe. I was told by the attendant that he was working on the tiles. To my surprise when the man left I was told that the jacuzzi was unavailable because the man had just grouted the area. This is a spa that has operating hours. Whose idea was it to grout tiles by the jacuzzi at the start of the day? Worst experience ever!!
The massage was mediocre. The masseuse used her nails at the end on my back which made me think she watched YouTube videos to learn her techniques.

Their online booking is an absolute disaster. I made an apt for 1pm, they had it down for 3pm. Thankfully i took a screenshot so i was able to show them.
The other appointment i made was for 11:30 am, when i arrived they told me i had missed my appointment as it was at 11 am. Again, thankfully i took a screenshot of my reservation so i had the proof. The same thing happened to the woman in line in front of me.
The spa itself is fine. Nothing incredibly special. The masseuse talked a lot and unfortunately I'm not one to be rude and not answer, but i personally prefer a quiet massage.

Very very upset and disappointed with this spa. I booked treatments for me, mom, and sister when we were on vacation. When we arrived they indicated they didn’t have my reservation in the system. They then said that it had been scheduled for 4/26 and was a no show. To which they charged me for all services! I had to get a manager involved to get my money back when it was their mess up! I would schedule elsewhere. If you do schedule I would recommend getting the name of the receptionist who makes the reservation and ensure you get confirmation:

I had the worst spa experience of my life at the Grand Spa. We stayed at the MGM Signature because we had SpaFinder gift cards to use. When we checked in, our balance (including the mandatory 20% gratuity) came to $190. We had $200 in gift cards and were told when we were done with our services that the $10 balance would be returned to us. Instead, when we went to check out we were informed that the gift card could not be used in part and that the spa had taken the $10 for themselves. We said we were not ok with this and asked for our $10. The spa refused to return the money to us, then lied and said they put $50 back on the gift card and we allowed them to charge $40 to our Visa credit card. Before we left we asked for proof that the $50 was back on the gift card. The employee panicked and got the manger. The manager told us that there was no money on the gift card and no one had ever said that there was. So why did they charge our credit card? We got angry and rather then trying to solve the problem, the manager threatened to call security on us and stormed off. She left the employee to void the $40 they charged to our Visa. When we again asked for our $10 (where we started) she left exasperated, went back to the manger (who never came out again), opened a drawer and handed us $10. Why on earth was this not done in the first place? Why did they take our $10 rather than waiting to ask us what we would like? Why do they assume that it is ok to lie about putting money back on the gift card? All I do know is that this was the worst customer service that I have ever experienced and I would recommend staying far away from this spa.

I went to the Barbershop during my stay at MGM Grand. I got a haircut (fade) and beard trim. The barber was really nice, and he cut my hair exactly like we discussed. When he did my beard I was not facing the mirror, by the time he finished and swung me around he had cut over half my beard off when we had discussed only a clean up, none off the length. At this point he explained “I decided to take the beard back more than we talked about.” Not sure why he decided this, he then tried to attempt a joke, “now you look less homeless?”
Probably the worst experience at a barber I’ve ever had, especially when I had to prepay $78 inclusive of a 20% service fee. So a 20% tip for bad service

I tried to call and book a massage here. As I am in my first trimester of pregnancy I asked if I should book their Expecting Mother’s Massage or a Classic Swedish. The receptionist proceeded to tell me they don’t do massages on anyone who’s pregnant because it’s a “delicate time of life” and their massage therapists would “lose their licenses” for administering massages to pregnant women. When I asked why they bothered listing an Expecting Mothers massage on their menu, I was told this was just for moms who’d already delivered. Um....that is not what “expecting mother” means. Ultimately this is a deceptive offering and all-around awful customer service. Many spas offer prenatal massage and this place claims to but doesn’t. Pregnant ladies, avoid!
