Parkway Athletic Club completely exceeded my expectations. The moment I walked in, the place was spotless, organized, and had that feeling of a gym that’s actually taken care of. Tons of machines, plenty of free weights, great layout, and the amenities are honestly on another level, it feels more like a full wellness space than just a gym.

Huge shoutout to Avary at the front desk. She’s the kind of employee every gym wishes they had. She greeted me right away, answered every question I had without rushing me, and took the time to personally show me around the entire facility. Every amenity, every area, she walked me through it and made sure I understood what was available. Super friendly, super professional, and you can tell she actually cares about people’s experience there.

If you’re looking for a gym that’s clean, well-equipped, and staffed with people who go above and beyond, Parkway Athletic Club is it. Couldn’t recommend it more.

This place is a fantastic gym, it has every option you can think of that you would need.
Whether its leg day, arm day, cardio heavy...wether you like free weights or machines, its all there!
Recently they are doing renovations due to a new branding. If you change your clothes in the locker room, you dont have that option...for the next month. It may not seem like much but having to disrupt my workout schedule because Im forced to change in a porta potty outside when its WINTER is not an awesome experience.
At the time being its disrupted my workout schedule BUT otherwise its a great gym I would totally recommend.

Love this place. $23.99 for a VIP that includes 24/7 access to the gym kids club and more! I have 2 little ones so it's perfect for me since I don't have anyone to watch them while I go to the gym. Its a clean gym with friendly staff. Everytime I come I am welcomed 😌 and it's lovely.

Save yourself the time and money and avoid this place at all cost. There are plenty of better gyms in this area and you are way better off choosing something else. Not only is it poorly managed but the trainers are inconsiderate and have no idea what they are doing. They will take a machine from someone that is already using it, just so their client can use it. It is full with a bunch of ego lifters and middle aged men that make the loudest noises possible and slam the weights for attention. They have one of the worst smelling bathrooms I've ever stepped foot into, they are filthy every single time guaranteed. You will leave this place feeling disgusting. This place is a reflection of it's poor management and staff. They could pay me to go here and I would still feel scammed.

Extremely busy majority of the day. Lots of people standing around racks and equipment talking and not lifting, and I'm not talking about between sets. You can waste an hour trying to get use a specific piece of equipment. Re-racking equipment is not enforced and weights are snached from your rack if not on your bar, makes progressive increases in weight a nightmare. Lots of loud grunting and noise making from attention seekers, even when the weight being moved is moderate at best. Parking can be more then annoying as people will park over lines, nearly hit you trying to jump into a spot or just the frequent absence of spots in general.

Equipment is in good condition overall and the staff is nice. Cardio equipment never have to wait to use.

This place has a little bit of everything. Machines, cables, free weights, bench squat and deadlift, some punching bags and a astroturf room for agility. They even have a tire flipping machine. The cost is really good too - $20-25 per month if you want to bring a guest and 24/7 access. It was just what I was looking for and it's in a good location near a lot of businesses and traffic so it feels safe even at night.

My goal is to stay healthy and strong. I've had an ACL reconstruction and I used to do a lot of powerlifting. Now I use a lot of the machines (adduction, abduction, leg press, hack squat) in order to keep my knee healthy because I can't squat the way I used to. I find that this gym is focused on providing a little bit of everything which helps keep my workouts interesting as I can use a lot of different pieces of equipment, yet its not so overwhelming that I feel lost or out of place.

For my needs, it's a definite 5 stars!

I started my fitness journey here with Jessie, he was an amazing trainer, at least until he convinced me and my boyfriend to work out together as one. I was ok with it for a while bc my boyfriend was my support, but soon after we started Jessie would pay more attention to my boyfriend then me. My boyfriend was already fit while I wasn't so much. My boyfriend Even told Jessie to focus more on me. There would be times I would wait 10 to 15 almost 20 minutes before coming back over to me. We were also being charged 450 a month. After our 6 months I requested to see him individually because I wasn't see the progress I wanted and thought it would be better 1v1. He seemed to get upset and convinced me to not do 1v1. Instead we did the same thing but he stopped being our trainer and went with Jaden as a substitute even though we were paying Jesse as our trainer. I would also constantly ask Jesse about a meal plan. Never happened, he Instead became very cold to me. Never would respond when I'd ask him a question. I eventually left the gym after 1 year bc I felt uncomfortable and my money wasn't going to me and my boyfriend as planned but just my boyfriend. Because of this experience I've lost a lot of confidence and not sure if I want another personal trainer if I'll be treated the way I was.

I started going here in November of 2021, during that time the gym has overall been good with the only gripe being the rather dirty mens locker room around the toilets (should really invest in some good urinal splash guards). Lately though the maintenance has been abysmal. I believe I counted 7 treadmills that are out of service (basically half of them) and a few have been broken for quite a long time. I tried using 2 of the "working" ones and one gave error code 15 and would not start, and the others belt is concerningly noisy like something is going to break. I understand if a treadmill stops working and is out of comminsion for a few days but right now the state they're in is unacceptable. All the people that go to this gym are great and I've had zero issues with the staff. I really hope they can step their game up soon before renewal.

I like it here, I need to strengthen my lower body after having multiple surgeries to replace both hips and both shoulders (both ankles will be replaced, as well, in the somewhat near future), and I had both knees replaced in the past (2004). The machines will do the trick without hurting me.

Their machines are really nice, a lot of people here and there working on something or other, I feel pretty good about coming in and just hopping on a machine and work out.

It would be very cool if there was a small area with a little sign telling you what each machine does, some machines does have a "how to" sign, not many, though. But, I can figure it out!
