It's a planet fitness, so there's that. If you like planet fitness, you know what to expect from this gym. Every time I've come here it has been clean, the front desk people have been pleasant and, if you shower at the gym, the water has been warm. I generally go really late/ early though, so that might need to be kept in mind.

If I could give a 0 star I’d love to! The man with glasses at the front desk named Juan can’t comprehend a single context of the situation. I had to repeat myself 3x as he looks at me stammering, he says I would receive an email about changing my location I did, I’ve shown it. But then proceeds to say “but you cancelled the membership.” Yes I understood I cancelled the membership but the email also states I have until July 16,2025 to use the facility. I’ve stated I’m moving out of state on July so I went in to do a last work out for the week. Showing my email confirmation and he still says no. I ask to whom do I speak about this to such as an HR or just a manager on site. He starts to look at me freaked out and looks at me as if I’m speaking another language, that’s when he starts to stammer. Sir the situation is an easy fix, it’s not a hard biochemistry question. He then proceeds to tell me “I don’t know I can’t do anything about that since you cancelled it.” I internally slap my head because this man can’t seem to comprehend the email I showed him with the agreement number, my words, and overall the easy fix of the situation. I lost brain cells by just speaking to this man.

This morning was the worst experience I have ever had at this location!!!! Jared the front desk guy totally ignored me when I came to the desk had both of his AirPods on his ear no name tag to identify him and helped another person that came after us until I finally said hello can you help me!!!! Lord knows this might’ve set him off to actually do his job he was so rude and just the smart remarks after the questions like it’s ok if you’re having a bad day we all have them but come on now your customer service you don’t have to be friendly but at least be professional for a few minutes poor guy didn’t even want to look me up in any way form or fashion!!!! I don't care how you take it... you allow Men in women's restrooms but I can shower while a female attendant is cleaning the other part of the locker room. You allow the men's room to be shut down for 2 hours while people are getting ready for work, hire a male attendant if that's the problem.

The thing about this planet fitness is the people are super nice. The people working out are always very courteous and respectful. Above that the staff are simply incredible! I have been trying to cancel with you for months because I moved across the country. You never have a manager available, you won’t cancel my account unless I come in. I live across the country!! I’m not flying back to LV to cancel a stupid gym membership. Just cancel it! I was told tonight that I need to send in a letter! It is 2024! We literally have robots now, and you want me to send in a letter via usps? Grow up and cancel my damn account. You want me to jump on my and buggy to deliver it to you too? On top of that, your staff tonight was so rude and completely condescending. I should not have to go through all of this just to cancel a membership. I filed a complaint with the BBB. If you cost me another cent, I’ll make sure I sue as well.

Update: called my bank, and made sure they put a “stop payment” on it. I will also be following up with BBB, and making sure you stop taking advantage of people the way that you are. It should be illegal. No… I’m not going to email your “social” account managers. You need to do better, and stop taking advantage of people. What you’re doing, is trying your very hardest to keep people paying you when they don’t want your service anymore, and you make it impossible to cancel. You're criminals at this point.

Expect zero communication between team members, system lost the card I had on file without any explanation, I was told this was a matter between ‘my bank and me’ without any sort of apology or accountability for the issues arising from just trying to do a simple transfer of membership. I live on the other side of town now and once again have to drive back to the lake mead location to cancel when this should have been resolved the other day I was down!

This Planet Fitness is really big. The extra room between machines and areas gives a sense of being very relaxed and free. Just keep it clean and maintained. Some gym members don't pick up after themselves (paper towels, toilet paper, barbells). Those people can do a little better, eh. Um, a hanger was missing off the mounting bracket in a changing room. Friendly staff. Machines are legit.

I am in town for a week on business and purchased a 24 hour pass as the Tenya and Lk Mead location. My meetings were at Sunset/ 215. I tried a Planet Fitness over there while I was on break and was told I was unable to use my pass. I had to return to where I bought it to work out. Planet Fitness has so many locations why would you limit a 24 hour pass. Next time I’m here for meetings I’ll try LVAC. Very disappointed.

Was interested in signing up and wanted to try it out, accidentally set the free day pass for the wrong location but I assumed it wouldn’t be too much of an issue since we were prospects/potential members. Assistant manager and shift lead were not welcoming, and said we cannot utilize the gym since we chose the wrong location. Manager was just sitting down with his laptop and just said there’s nothing he can do. Wasn’t asked if it was my first time there, wasn’t asked if I I was interested in joining, wasn’t offered a tour, wasn’t given an option for a paid day pass, nothing. The entire management team stayed silent shrugging their shoulders as we waited for some compromise, so we just left. Great way to get in those sales! First impressions are very important, run your business better.

Out of the 50+ Planet Fitness that I’ve been too while traveling, THIS Las Vegas LOCATION (W. Lake Mead Blvd) is overall the BEST one that I’ve been to!
• Clean facility
• With the exception of the subpar water pressure in one of the women’s showers (the handicap stall), the water pressure in the other three ladies showers is actually pretty good! If rating the shower water pressure on a scale of 1 to 10 (EXCLUDING the water pressure in handicap shower w/ the handheld shower head), I’d say that the rating for the water pressure in the other 3 showers (the ones that have the frosted glass doors) is between an 8 & a 9— the pressure varies a little between shower stalls.
Other things that I like about this loc are that they...
- Have 4 hydro massage beds, (2) flat & (2) sit-up@ 45°, + play nice chill spa relaxation music in hydro bed area
- Have (2) zero gravity massage chairs + TV
- 1 lay down tanning bed
- 1 Hybrid Total Body Enhancement machine (TBE infrared/ tanning combo)
- 1 Total Body Enhancement machine
- 3 standup tanning beds
- Black Card lounge has 3 upholstered chairs + TV

This is a newer PF location and easily the most spacious PF I've seen in town. They have gotten a lot of new traffic and the workout areas do get busy during the afternoon/evening rush. But they have a ton of brand new equipment and (especially if you're doing cardio) you should be able to find a spot even when it's busy. Super nice and helpful staff as well.

Worst Planet Fitness ever. The « manager » told me that because I’m a guest in our membership I can not use one massage chair, in 6 months all around the states it’s the first time I hear that, ever. When I calmly said that to her, she start to be so condescending with me, can see in her eyes that it’s because I’m not American. I’ve only been to two gyms in LV, this one and the Eos by Rainbow. By far, this gym is my favorite. Way more sanitary and I often see staff cleaning equipment unlike, eos. When I see Renne at the front desk when I walk in he inspires me to work out hard this man should be in a magazine. I've never seen a normal person working like him. Not only is his body beyond perfect he treats everyone kind. I've seen him work grave yard shifts days shift and is always very kind and helpful no matter what shift he works I've seen this man cleaning always showing people how to use the weights properly. I was a member of this gym since a few days after their grand opening in early October. Everything went smoothly here until I requested a brief 1-2 month pause at the gym due to a medical procedure and they rigidly requested a medical note even though they didn’t request one the first time I asked for a pause. The manager, Juan, had such a non-chalant and uncaring attitude that will make your blood boil. So instead of just a pause, I asked for cancellation. Because of the rude manager, I will be looking for another gym.

It’s a shame because I enjoyed this location for a late night workout and it’s relatively clean.

I’ve been to the gym a few times now, and most of my experiences have been pretty good! I recommend it in general BUT my most recent experience was not the best :( I went with my partner for a work out on a Sunday. There was a guy working the front desk with locs and he hassled me and my boyfriend about the way that we got checked in. Instead of giving his barcode, my partner typically gives his phone number due to account issues. We ~always~ do this, we’ve been to this location, the Boca Park gym and the location on Eastern/Owens a few times and never have any issues. I am a guest, and he has a black card, so we usually don’t run into any issues, and we’ve been going to the gym together for almost 4 months.

But the guy made us wait for so long and the other girl working at the front didn’t do anything to help us! :( He eventually just let us go, but gave this apathetic attitude when it came to not using a barcode. I was really confused because we’ve never had this issue before? And he said it wasn’t a new thing. So I don’t know if he was just new or didn’t really want to help us. The customer service is usually much better with other employees, and other gyms. I was a little disappointed that her coworker didn’t try to help him, because then it eats away into our time for the gym. We take the bus so we typically give ourselves a pretty strict timeline, once we arrive at the gym. BUT OTHER THAN THAT - the facilities are super well-maintained. The gym is gorgeous, and the service is usually pretty good. That one guy left a slightly bad taste in my mouth and for my bf too, but I know that if it was any other staff members, it wouldn’t have been like that. The gym is always super clean and they have a lot of equipment, so I never feel anxious about having to share the equipment with people. I recommend this location or even the Boca Park location! ❤️

The new Lake Mead & Tenaya spot is THE spot to workout at. Always clean, always friendly staff, great hours, ample machines, personal trainer on deck to work with you. This place brings me joy. I just wish they did group classes like yoga at least but the machines do make up for that lack, complete with TRX racks, battle ropes & more! My favorite ppl are Juan & Valeria.... Super rad ppl, get to know them if you have a chance oh and they are really helpful if you need ANYTHING! THERE'S SO MUCH MORE I WANT TO SAY ABOUT THIS PLACE BUT IT'S ESCAPING ME, YOU JUST HAVE TO CHECK THIS SPOT OUT, LOTTA BANG FOR FOR BUCK!

I really really want to give this a 5 star - like it is so close. They have a fantastic selection of newest machines and not a ton of people. Even when it is decently busy you really don't wait for machines. It is kept really clean and the staff is super nice. The ONLY reason I cannot give full stars: it is hard to find a place for mat stretching and exercises due to the layout. If two or three people have mats against the wall, you are relegated to in between machiners or out in the middle of walking areas. Otherwise, I love this gym!

Juan’s friendly personality makes him feel like one of the “homies”, Chris has mastered professionalism by greeting his customers by name before they even check-in (super impressive) and Valeria’s sweet demeanor consistently shows exceptional customer service. I have regularly visited many Planet Fitness locations in many cities. I am so lucky to have this brand new one near me. There are more of all the machines I use. Mainly, the customer service is amazing. An employee, Blake, helped me immensely when I dropped my phone into a very inconvenient spot.

I’ve always loved PF but was very excited waiting for this location to open. Within a short period of time the staff addressed me by name and I’ve built great gym friendships with them!

Literally the best location, clean, wonderful friendly staff, 24 hours, spacious, lounge.

It's worth the 20 minute drive, I FINALLY feel comfortable, I can be myself and feel free, THIS is the gym for me!!

I joined a few weeks ago in Summerlin Nevada and had excellent customer service from the assistant manager Vinny. He was very friendly and knowledgeable with a nice smile and could multi task the front area even when it was busy. I have worked in Customer Service management for many years and feel Vinny is an asset to the Planet Fitness corporation and they are lucky to have him. I also want to say that this gym was very clean in every way and is very well run.

I met the manager Katelyn today and she also is a valuable employee to Planet Fitness with her management skills and acknowledging a good valuable employee.
