I would rate this club ten stars if possible.
Pros
The front desk staff that is there when I am are Cheryl and Kay. The manager is TJ.
They are super. Friendly is an understatement but not obtrusive either.
They do double duty as cleaners and the place is spotless.
The equipment is in good shape and ready to use.
Cons
None I wish there were more establishments that met this high standard.

I went into this club like I usually do as a member. This old lady named Cheryl tried to throw my key in the garbage that I use for my lock. When I confronted her about it, she became rude and disrespectful and told me to not leave it around. Then I needed a machine fixed that was raised too high. So I went to the front desk. Who's sitting there but this lady who I didn't want to talk to. There was another lady there that passed me to her and I said, I didn't want to talk to her cause she has an issue with me. Then the lady became lippy again. So I tried to find the corporate number for planet fitness. mysteriously they don't have one. They are owned by a shell company called Black Duck Partners, and I couldn't find a phone number for them either. There was a dead South Carolina number that I called. So they can basically treat their members like garbage and get away with it. Since there's noone to complain to. Then they wonder why people finally lose it and take matters into their own hands. Don't ever join this place unless you want to be treated like garbage.

Planet Fitness has really helped me get back into shape and stay consistent. I started using their 30-minute circuit and it’s been a game changer — quick, effective, and perfect when I’m short on time. It’s given me structure and helped me build strength and confidence again.

I also love how welcoming the atmosphere is. Since I work with Planet Fitness, I’ve tried a few different locations to find the right vibe, and every one has been positive and supportive. I’ve even met some great new friends along the way who motivate me to keep showing up.

The staff are friendly, the equipment is clean and well-maintained, and the energy in the gym is always upbeat. Whether you’re just starting out or getting back into a routine, Planet Fitness makes it easy to feel comfortable and make progress.

My only complaint is the antiquated stairmasters . They need an upgrade. The stationary bikes as well are outdated . This is my backup gym and thankfully my primary gym has modern equipment.

This gym is clean, my only disappointment is a very important machine that is missing, and that is ..a “standing calve raise machine”
I’ve been to other Planet Fitnesses in California where they have them all shinny in purple. This location does not have it. I recommend management to ask for one.
The “sitting one” they have is not effective at all and is useless of space. Please replace it

They should address the issue that all members of these gym is occupying the parking lots of other business next door. The parking lot is full of cars off the members of this gym. Terrible policies! I've been a member for about 2 years and my husband as well. I upgraded to black membership for one month since a friend was visiting us and wanted to workout. I told them it would be a month, and that i could downgrade afterwards. Today I went in to downgrade. Things became rather dramatic, and the manager had to do the downgrade, at which point they told me I had to sign up for 12months per corporate policy and if I cancelled before that, I would be charged a rather substancial fee. The entire thing was punitive social engineering, done to punish me for downgrading when I was clear when I upgraded why I was doing it and that I would not keep the black membership as I dont need the features.
So I immediately canceled my membership and my husbands purely on principle. I had been planet fitness for a long time, and probably would have been at this location another year or two.
Instead of making customers lives easy and fun, they chose to be petty and punitive and lost 2 memberships over a totally stupid and offensive corporate policy.
I can tell the staff wasnt happy to see us be gone forever.
The irony that EOS gym is cheaper, offers more amenties and is closer to my house while I was not switching out of some allegiance to Planet Fitness is crazy, cause they were fine seeing me leave if I would not agree to be punished by contract for the sin of downgrading. What a truly stupid, punitive and predatory policy, and I will never have a membership with them again over pure principle.

I'm leaving this review not based on the location itself, but because of repeated negative experiences with a particular staff member. I’ve had countless encounters or witnessed repeated incidents involving an employee I believe his name is Chase. He has slicked-back, overgrown hair and skinny. From what I’ve observed, he consistently causes issues off the clock when working out at the gym.
What’s more frustrating is that whenever I’ve brought this up to a manager they either deflect responsibility or defend the behavior as if nothing’s wrong often using what feels like reverse psychology to dismiss the concern. I want to be clear I’ve never had a problem with any other staff member. Whether it’s midday or late at night, I do want to shout out Vito and that one girl he frequently works with. They always go above and beyond.
It seems Chase may have some sort of management role because I always see him in a black polo. If that’s the case, I strongly believe whoever is overseeing him should take accountability for the kind of leadership they’re putting in place. The professionalism and conduct of lead staff matter and the wrong person in that role can reflect poorly on the entire team.

Vitto and TJ forced me to cancel my 14 month old membership because of their hostility towards me and my wife. Vitto went out of his way to interrogate my wife during the check in process even after we went went through a discussion on rules for guests entires and were complying with the process. Earlier we were explained that the member needs to check-in before the guest. When we started complying they started asking her why isn't she accompanied with the member all the time. When I asked him to back off, he started smacking counters and then TJ asked us to cancel our membership as said he didn't intend to have any discussion on his coworker's actions. I wish a long time members were treated better than this. This used to be a good place.

Been here 4-5 times now, usually go at night, 99% of the employees are cool, they do their jobs, most of the gym goers clean the machines after being used. The only time it was weird was walking in and needed to scan in to check in, dude pointed at the device like I was supposed to pick it up and point my phone at it, so now that's what I do everytime I go in regardless of who is there.

Amazing . First time being in the gym in 16years and when I tell you Vitto really took his time to show me around and was very knowledgeable about everything . He helped me sign up and I was referred by my kids for the free summer fitness for teens . As we walked around I had many questions about the tanning beds which he explained the difference in beds and the benefits of red light therapy and how the water beds worked and their benefits. This is definitely my new gym and I felt so comfortable being me .

I’ve never been much of a gym person… even as someone who’s always been fairly athletic, traditional gyms never really felt like my thing. But the morning crew at this Planet Fitness changed that completely. Kay, Cheryl, and Chase at the front have been nothing short of amazing… from day one, they’ve made me feel welcome, never judged, and have answered every stupid question I’ve had with total patience and kindness. Their energy and attitude genuinely make the place feel like a community, not just a gym… (even if I never speak to the people I see working out there daily, lol)

I also want to shout out Alberto, the maintenance engineer, who keeps everything spotless and running smooth… one of those people who may be behind the scenes but makes a huge difference in the day-to-day experience.

Thanks to this crew, walking through those doors is the easiest part of my day… if you’re hesitant about starting or getting back into the gym, this is the team you want in your corner.

I’ve had a great experience at planet fitness, and a big part of that is how well this location is managed. I have to give a special mention to Vitto he’s incredibly experienced Vitto is doing an excellent job keeping everything running smoothly, and it really shows in the overall atmosphere of the gym. Also Vitto gave me and my family a very detailed tour even how to use most equipment I didn't know how to manage. He was also very polite and did not rush like most worker he made sure all our questions was answered!!

Shower Review: this planet fitness has the changing rooms across from the shower with a hall in between model. The changing rooms have curtains while the shower has frosted glass doors. The water got warm quickly but the faucet controls are the style with the temperature control as a smaller nob on the flow control which always confuses me when trying to adjust the temperature. Overall a good shower experience when vanlifing.

TJ and Sheryl at the front with brown hair do not like to help people they like to make it seem like they don’t have the ability to do certain tasking but then when you get in contact with Planet Fitness as a whole,
They even say you guys are lying so just be aware I wouldn’t make this your home gym.
You both are very passive aggressive individuals.

I finally asked to just cancel my gym membership because I’m not gonna stress myself out with random stuff that isn’t necessary and he sent me a confirmation that he canceled my account and he sent me a cancellation PDF though he never actually did it so yes I had to go elsewhere and get my problem solved.

I went to another Planet Fitness ask them if I could cancel and they gave me no problems at all, and it was handled in less than five minutes.

Switched to this gym from the busy EOS down the street on Sahara. I could only use EOS at off hours or very late at night. If not, I’d often have to wait to do anything, even for cardio equipment, which is ridiculous. This Planet Fitness is infinitely better maintained and has all the same equipment and machines besides traditional barbells (which I don’t use anyways).

This is definitely one of the nicer Planet Fitness due in part to the staff, inviting set up, and respectful crowd. The ONLY downside would be an excess amount of cardio equipment, but this is typical of most Planet Fitness’s.

This is my favorite location. It’s never too crowded, and always clean.. my teenage daughter loves the smaller crowd also. We tend to go later in the evening/night and it’s perfect timing. Everyone is very friendly when I walk in and always helpful and attentive when I ask questions or need something. Reese (spelling?) is really sweet and welcoming, she was one of the first staff members I met a couple months ago and every time I see her she greets me like we have been friends forever 😂 Thank you for being a great location guys!!!

The machines and gym areas are great, and I actually really like the layout. It's inviting. It's really good for all the machines and equipment I like to use. The layout is really good.

However, there are some issues with whoever did the construction/setup of the men's bathroom (or whoever checked the work or whoever planned it out). The sinks have the touchless, motion-activated faucets, which are not sufficient. There aren't any GFCI outlets by any of the sinks, and no GFCI outlet in each changing area. It matters. All these things improve efficiency of getting in and out, especially when busy.

And the big one: The shower towel hangers outside of the showers don't match up to the swing open side! There's a perfectly open area for one on the far right side, far right shower. Fairly easy fix. One is falling off, too (set pin maybe).

Everything else is super good, though. Sometimes it be like that.

I don't know what it is about this area, but the night shift employees here have consistently sucked. This place has been my home gym for the last two years, and I've seen the the night shift employees either asleep/relaxing on the massage beds, dozing off at the front desk, or just totally immersed in their phones where they won't even look up to greet you. The night employees are also very inconsistent with rules regarding Black Card members having access to the massage chairs. Just very bad manners overall. I have since changed my home club to another gym in a better area that employs better staff.

Planet fitness initially wasn’t what I had in mind when finding a gym in Vegas. My experiences haven’t always been the best in other states.

I recently relocated to Vegas and wow what an incredibly well run gym. The staff members are all fantastic, have been a member for 4 months now and I haven’t had one bad experience. The gym is extremely clean, fridges well stocked, staff friendly, massage beds functioning and also clean. What an incredible place and a good price.

This is my favorite location in Vegas. The only time I'll go to a different location, is when I need the glute kickback machine. I go to the Henderson one on Sunset. The one they have at the Charleston one kinda sucks. Other than that, this gym has every machine I need. Even when this gym is at its busiest, I barely have to wait for anything. Broken equipment. Disturbing staff issues.

Take note, ladies: the "maintenance man" (an elderly Hispanic gentleman) seems to have issues with his eyes! He stared at my wife in a bizarre, "far too long" manner. Repeatedly. It made her feel so uncomfortable, that she wound up leaving the gym. In tears!! I can't tell you how angry that made me!! And it took her most of the day to get herself back together. Horrible experience!!

And sorry to have to say this, but the elderly brunette white woman who works the morning shift (the one who wears a lot of makeup, with 80's hair) emits an odor that cannot be ignored. She may simply have a foul odor due to a urogenital tract infection; unsure. Regardless, she needs a medical examination. Perhaps a physician can determine why her body consistently emits a foul odor like...blech, rotting fish. It's extremely repulsive. I would have said something the first time, but I didn't want to be rude. After a certain point though, you just cannot ignore it, and have to walk away. That's what we did.

The equipment: it is often missing straps, several of the smaller free weights are missing, and for as much as I've watched the "maintenance man" I mentioned above clean the gym, he doesn't actually clean the equipment. He wipes off the front desk a lot. He also wipes down the Black Card Spa area (and goes in there whenever an attractive female is there...to "clean" I suppose). Honestly, it's all quite disturbing. This location is one of many we have gone to as a couple, and it is now by far the most disturbing and disruptive club we have ever been to. The previous staff on duty when it first opened were younger, more upbeat, and happy. The elderly AM people seem to have issues that elderly people often have (inability to take care of themselves, inappropriate behaviour, severe boundary issues).

Unsure what happened to this location, but this is now by far the worst PF location we have ever attended.

Employees were snotty about us being in from out of town. Talked down to us about things are “done differently there.” Just asked them kindly about services at the gym and we were treated like we were bothering them to ask a question. Employee held a sign up at me to read and said, “did you have any more questions?” In a condescending voice. It was weirdly unfriendly for no reason. It was absolutely wild when we were being absolutely cool and just wanted to know why they weren’t honoring our black card membership. Answer was that it’s a franchise and the owner doesn’t have to give all the same services. Attaching list they gave me when I asked which locations do honor all the services. It’s the non-highlighted ones.

I’ve been to this location at many different times a day and it’s never been too crowded which is nice. It’s very clean. The tanning beds are brand new. My only issue is they just replaced the privacy stalls with much shorter curtains, defeating the purpose. Anyone that walks by can fully see in, no matter where you stand behind the curtain.

Best $10 a month I spend. No long waits something is always open. Not the circus you get from EOS. I really like the people who work there awesome group at Sahara and Ft. Apache. Everything is clean and for the most part when machines are down they are fixed pretty quick.

I belong to 3 gyms and this is my favorite. It hits my checklist with high marks. I’m amazed at the cleanliness of this facility. I see someone cleaning every time I workout and believe me, I notice. Great job!
I love that parking is in the front of the building. I’ve belonged to a gym that most of the parking was in the back of the building.
The front desk team members always make eye contact with a smile. A great way to start my time at my happy place, the gym.
The equipment selection is great. I love that there are multiple machines of all my favorites.
The gym also has two massive ceiling fans over the treadmill area. OMG! I love this! My internal temp seems to alway feel like I’m in an oven. At other gyms I use a wet towel around my neck just to get through my workout. Not here.
I would also like to share that they accept Silver Sneakers. This is a no brainer to try it out. Any Silver Sneaker member can join as many gyms as they want with no charge as long as they accept Silver Sneakers. I belong to 3 and I am happiest here.

On 10/12/23 at 9:30am men lockers were broken into with bolt cutters and wallets were stolen. Personnel are keeping a lid on this and will not disclose anything about the event so that members become aware of what happened and can take extra precautions. It's apparently corporate policy not to talk about the event. It's good to know that this company DOESN'T have their clients' backs.

Worked out before my job started. Got in car after, couldn't find phone. Employee James H. offered to call mine with his to help me find it. When it didn't ring in the gym, he went with me to my car to see if we could hear it ring in there. Sure enough, it had fallen into a black hole type crevice between the seats.

I have been to a few locations in the Las Vegas area and this location has the best equipment by far! The locations close to home and close to my work both closed last week for equipment upgrades but when I went back to them most of the equipment was exactly the same. Not cool. I started coming back again after a couple years going elsewhere. The parking lot is cramped with limited access points, so coming here in the afternoon is no-go for me (especially because this lot has a problem with loitering squatters), though during quieter mornings it's not a problem.

This gets quite a good weekday crowd for a PF (typically PFs are much less trafficked in the early AM than other gyms). You usually should be able to use the equipment you need, but there's quite a few people here. I remember afternoon crowds being awfully crowded and I imagine today that's no exception. I just won't bother after work and will just go elsewhere.

Aside from that, the equipment is up to date and pretty much all in good working order. It's rare for me to see something broken and totally out of order here.

That said, there are a couple legit issues here.

A lot of the connecting lanyards are missing from the cable decks, meaning that if you can't grab a lanyard from an open adjacent machine then those decks are completely useless because you can't attach handles without a lanyard. The lanyards have been missing for weeks (and the staff should be well aware by now), so either management's not willing to order replacements, or the gym has some thieves who keep stealing them (which doesn't bode well for your valuables if you bring any in).

They're also missing several of the smaller dumbbells from the free weight section. These are probably harder to replace so them being gone is more understandable, but they're still missing several little dumbbells.

For a PF of its size there is not a lot of floor space for mat use. There's a smallish open space near the stretch rack, but otherwise you have to try and fit in between the somewhat crammed in 360 rack and the walls. That whole area is rather cramped for a PF 360 area in general, so good luck. And forget about laying a mat anywhere else in the gym without causing a problem.

I’ve been a Planet Fitness member for about 14 years. Today, I foolishly left my phone at the hotel (which has my membership card) and tried to enter a gym out of town…benefit of black card. Angel at the front desk was NOT an angel of customer service. My phone number was somehow inexplicably not linked to my card. When he said I needed to call the home club to get my barcode I asked if he wouldn’t mind doing that since I had no phone. You’d think I asked him to donate his last functioning kidney. He said “I’m not gonna do that”. Thanks “Angel”. Lesson here, don’t forget your phone and make sure your barcode is linked to your phone number. Unsure why that isn’t automatic.

This is a great place to workout. They may not have all the equipment that some gyms may have, but what they do have is more than sufficient for most everyone’s needs. The location is convenient, plenty of parking, and easy to get to.

Here is where they excel…this is one of the cleanest gyms I’ve ever been to. The staff cleans more times in a day than some gyms clean in a week. Equipment is well maintained, the employees are super friendly, and I’ve gone at all different times of the day, and it’s never too busy, so you don’t have to wait for every machine or bench that you want to use, like it is at some gyms.

Been going here for almost a year, and the cleanliness and quality of equipment has always been maintained. Keep up the good work!
