I have been bringing my 2 year old here for 3 weeks now and we both absolutely love it! My daughter talks about dance class every day leading up to it. We are taking the Creative Movement class with Miss Aundrea and she is absolutely wonderful. So patient and kind with the kiddos and my daughter loves her! Also big shout out to the other staff and Maya at the front desk, everyone is so friendly. I love that I get to join in the class as well and participate. My daughter is learning so much in each class as well like letters, colors and more. Worth every penny and we are so excited to continue these classes. Highly recommend!

I recently enrolled my daughter in a trial ballet class at this dance studio, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. When we called to inquire about the class, we were not informed that she needed to bring a notebook or that students would be expected to work on ballet vocabulary in both French and English. This crucial information would have helped us prepare better.

Additionally, the teachers did not spend any one-on-one time explaining the moves to my daughter or assisting and correcting her movements. This lack of individualized attention left her feeling confused and unsure about her progress as she had never danced ballet before. We had hoped for a more supportive and informative environment, but sadly, this was not our experience.

My son had a blast with the unlimited trial week. He wanted to sign up for everything. That's not feasible. We picked his absolute favorite which is hip hop on Sat. We also really liked acro but it is not on Sat for fall/winter. Hopefully they will expand their schedule in the near future.

From the moment we walked into The Movement Dance Experience we felt so welcomed! My 4 year old daughter had gone to a different studio prior and said she never wanted to go back but when we came here she said she didn’t want to go home! The staff is also so incredibly kind! The studio is also so clean and cute! We have only gone to one class which was the Once Upon a Ballet and my daughter is so excited to go again!

Took my 3 year old for two trial classes and decided to sign her up! The staff is all very nice and helpful! As someone who has never danced before I was so nervous to come the first day. Pretty quick after submitting a form I was contacted and they were extremely welcoming and informative. Upon my arrival, I got a tour and was introduced to the dance class and I had such a great time. I will definitely be returning and recommend The Movement Dance Experience for anyone!

My favorite home-away-from-home! The owners truly care about ensuring dancers have a warm, welcoming, supportive place to learn, and the instructors are top notch, caring, and bring the best out of us. I am so happy I found The Movement Dance Experience. I attended my first Barre and Pilates class for Adults on Friday and thoroughly enjoyed the workout! We warmed up and cooled down with yoga, did barre exercises, and Plie’d and Releve’d across the whole studio floor. Our instructor and the studio staff are amazing. This is such a great studio. My niece goes here, and she loves it. Mrs. Mandy and Mr. Seth do a great job, and all of the teachers are great with the kids. I highly recommend this for any kids interested in dance.

My daughter came here with her mom. I was also there with our newborn son. Our daughter was having a hard time in the classroom. And nobody seemed to care to try to help us. We weren’t given the things we were promised. And they were just very unorganized. I tried to speak to the main manager but the lady on the phone kept refusing to and saying we can only talk to her when she was no help.

Went there with my daughter and granddaughter.This was my granddaughter’s first time. The teacher never acknowledged my grand daughter, no introduction and no assistance with getting my granddaughter to be comfortable in class. She pretended like she didn’t exist. It was a very uncomfortable feeling. My daughter was asked to sign my grand daughter up before her 1st class even started and was told she would get a uniform, welcome bag and other things that she never received and when we asked about it, they apologized and said they don’t know why someone would tell us that. There was no uniform or bag or anything and they just wanted our debit card info to charge us. Don’t take your child to this place unless you want to get ripped off and disrespected.

I am never taking my daughter here again. I had taken her to the free trial class about a year ago 2022. I ended up signing her up for a class, warning , they did not warn me about the no refund policy. They didn’t encourage to let my daughter try the class and then sign her up afterwards knowing we haven’t been there for a year when she was 1 she’s about almost 3 years old now. But I paid the 230$ that’s how much it was for me. I was also told, her first day she was going to get a welcome box, her pictures taken and she would feel welcomed. I did not receive any of that, the teacher didn’t even welcome her or say hi to her or even asked who she was or if she was new or not when we were in the class, I was trying to make my daughter feel comfortable all on my own , she cried in the hallway and we left early. So we didn’t even stay a whole class, iv gone out my way , so has my family to try to get my refund and nobody will give it to me even tho iv gone to not even a whole class. I am very disappointed with this place.

Signed up my 2 year old for a toddler beginner class and she had a blast! My husband and I got to be in the room with them while the littles worked with Mrs. Mandy and we had so much fun watching! I would highly recommend this class to anyone who enjoys watching their child have fun and learn new things, and expel ton of energy.

Our family just moved to the Las Vegas area and The Movement Dance experience has been AMAZING and so helpful! We decided to try the class pack to try different classes to see which one our daughter likes best before selecting the perfect class for her! So wonderful to find a dance studio with adult classes! My instructor was so cute and fun! She also was very encouraging and supportive as my sister in law and I are not dancers. Lol She modified the routine to fit her needs and was our cheerleader through our first time. The staff were also very friendly! This was just what I needed to get me moving, again. Our daughter has been attending Creative Movement for about a month now and we love it. She's really shy and with each class, she comes out of her shell and participates more and more. The class follows a curriculum where the kids learn different things incorporated into the movement part of class. Her teachers Ms. Kirsten and Ms. Keely are so nice and engaging. Seth is so helpful and so quick to get back to us. We've had a great experience so far and look forward to the future!

My daughter went to this dance studio and if we still lived in Vegas, she would still be dancing at The Movement Dance Experience!!! The owner and staff are wonderful people and excellent teachers. My daughter is still using all of the skills she learned from them. Do not listen to the negative reviews on here. Their experience is not the norm and probably written by helicopter parents who cannot let the kids have fun.

With every year, they grow as dancers and as good people because they have gained confidence, skills, resilience, and a constantly growing love for dance. My son has attended The Movement for over 2 years. In that time I have watched him transform from a kid who constantly tripped over his own feet into an impressive dancer. He loves the time he spends there, so much so that we always signed him up to attend the holiday lunches and other special activities they would put on for the kids.

The staff is great! Ms. Mandy is so knowledgeable and you can tell that she has a real heart for the kids. The rest of the staff is very communicative about my child and have worked with me in the past to deal with behavioral issues and attitude problems. I love their whole person approach and that they tailor their classroom attitude to meet and honor my needs as a parent. My son loves all his teachers and always leaves with a smile.

The cute office manager is always professional and has always been willing to work with me on the financial side of things. This has been a great partnership and I look forward to seeing my son grow over the years into a first class dancer.

They treat your kids like garbage, makes them cry, kicks them out for the most absurd reasons. The staff is terrible, the owner is outrageous. The building is small, though that is not a problem, they do still make it work well for the classes. I was a previous dancer there, and my experience was terrible, The majority of the company dancers left because of the owner (Mandy). They punish your children in unacceptable ways, like having them sit out for a mistake and screaming at them for a missed move. Last but not least, In company, the owner Mandy was telling the company members to NEVER tell the parents what she was telling them, and scaring them mentally.

We love TMDE! It’s like a second home. Both of our girls dance here and they’ve grown so much in the last year. The teachers are exceptionally gifted and patient and have instilled enthusiasm for dance and movement into our kids.
