Great space. Nice people. And of the 50+ instructors I've done classes with in my lifetime, Ani Raya-Flores is the most effective.

I don't write reviews often but this is a location that I really feel I'd like to spread to other yoga-seekers.

I have had the pleasure of having Katie Louvat as my instructor now for a little under a year. I cannot convey how grateful I am for her virtuosity in the yoga realm. I have done yoga several times at other locations and can say with confidence that Katie is the best instructor I've ever had. She is incredibly knowledgeable and I really like how she seamlessly integrates mindfulness and spirituality into her classes. Katie has a remarkable ability to create a serene and welcoming atmosphere, making each session not just a physical exercise but also a mental and emotional journey. Her attention to detail in guiding proper alignment and breath control has significantly improved my practice and helped with my chronic pains.

What sets Katie apart is her genuine care for her students' well-being. She takes the time to understand each individual's needs and limitations, offering modifications and adjustments tailored to them. Her encouragement and positive energy are infectious, motivating me to push past my comfort zone and explore new aspects of yoga. Her commitment to continuous learning is evident in the depth of her teachings. She frequently introduces new techniques and concepts, keeping her classes engaging and enriching. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, I can tell you Katie's classes offer something for everyone.

Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Katie as a yoga instructor. Her expertise, passion, and compassion make her an amazing instructor. I am deeply grateful for the profound impact she has had on my journey toward physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Thanks for reading :)

Business owner flipped me off in the parking lot so I went inside and asked what the problem was because i had no idea why im being flipped off.

She proceeded to act very rude and say we were wasting a parking spot. She had no idea when we pulled up or why we parked there. I could have been there for her business or the salon next door. but she immediately assumed otherwise and flipped us off.
She started blabbering about how this is a private parking lot and im wasting a spot for her business yet she was closing in 10 mins.
Have a good portion of this recorded. She stood in front of my car staring at me through the window smiling. So I got out and yelled because im getting frustrated. She continues with that devious smile on her face the whole time like she enjoyed it.

I would not have had a problem if she came over and asked us to move. It was the fact she flipped a complete stranger off with no context and proceeded to act like she genuinely enjoyed the fact she flipped us off by grossly smiling at me.

When I asked why she thought doing that was okay she said because she has this probelm everyday. Sure thats not a fun problem to have, I completely understand this. However, I have never parked there before. Your business was closing up. I am a complete stranger who has no idea of your issues and as a business owner you have gone about this so wrong.
Just ask people nicely to move their cars.
It shows how unstable someone is to smile at someone deviously as if it's appropriate for a business owner to do what she did.
Probably dont disrespect someone in front of your business like that again especially because right before you flipped me off I was thinking how nice of a studio that was an as an avid yogi I was interested in your business until I was flipped off. the owner has communication skills to work through.

Lost a potential customer.

Go ahead and try to get this removed or respond some nasty comment. I expect that from you ma'am after your actions last night.

One more time just in case you've missed it.

If you came to our car and nicely asked us to move I would have.

Katie is a fantastic teacher and a really good person. I truly love taking both group and private lessons from this her. I’m truly thankful for her, I’m 74 years old and I feel and have the mobility of my youth coming back, all thanks to her. Rhonda W.

I have only had the opportunity to take classes through the yoga center via zoom, but was welcomed into the experience nonetheless. Kelli taught in a gentle and fun way that left my body and soul refreshed.

The Yoga Center, in my opinion, is the Best Yoga space in town. Katie Louvat, the owner, is one of the best Yoga teachers I have ever had——-she is caring and really knows what she teaches. Yoga is for every body and The Yoga Center is one of the few places in town that recognizes this, offering classes for people with physical and developmental limitations along with a class focused on PTSD. It's wheelchair accessible and the website says they offer classes in English, Spanish, American Sign Language (ASL) and Signing Exact English (SEE). Other studios could take a page from The Yoga Center's book on inclusivity.
