Not walk-in friendly. Unless you have a membership, the doors are locked. And if you want to come in for the day and pay the daily cost, you can only go when someone is on staff, which is apparently only 4pm to 6pm. Super disappointed, I was looking forward to trying this place out
2 stars instead of 1 for the daily cost being $10 vs the other place which is $20.

Great little gym. Very clean. I'm older, and I never felt judgment going there. I found the weight machines, free weights, and the treadmill was just the right workout for me. I like having a key card and being able to go whenever I want.

This gym has the equipment I use, and no loud music. This was my main reason for signing up. Open 24/7 is very convenient.

Honestly this is one of the best gyms in the area. I have space, freedom to come on my own time with the 24/7 structure. Mountain Fitness has brand new equipment and an awesome staff.

I browsed the previous reviews and was shocked by the previous comment from @ClashPlayer and @TonyClifton. Both couldn’t be further from the truth. It feels as though these review were posted maliciously from other local competitors. Which if true, is sad to see another one local business attack another anonymously online…

Either way Mountain Fitness has been a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone!

A much needed gym for Peterborough. Friendly atmosphere and with an invested owner and staff. A nice break from corporate gyms. I’ve been utilizing early mornings and the gym is already becoming home to regulars and friendly faces.

I had a nice time working out in Mountain Fitness, great atmosphere, clean, open 24/7, with good price, respectful folks that is focus in true workouts and not creepy’s that stares at you while you workout. I read some unfortunate reviews saying use of steroids, never see it happening there.

I’ve had the pleasure of watching Ian and Aiden Schlotman make this gym known around and within the community, and they have done an outstanding job. Between the two of them they have successfully opened a gym and now have an incredible member base which is only continuing to grow… it’s a great space with even better equipment and their mentality around the gym itself is awesome. 100% recommend checking out the place!

I’ve been hunting for a new gym since moving and and I’m so glad I chose Mountain Fitness. 10/10 . It’s a brand new facility , super clean and they are open 24 hrs which is great when my work schedule changes . The owners are great . I’m glad I took a chance on this gym and think you should too.

Thank goodness to have a new Gym in town! This place is streamline, elegant and such easy access! Walking into the luxury all tiled bathrooms makes me think that I am in an upscale country club! The price is very reasonable!

I have worked out at many gyms, and one thing I really love about this business is the absolute care and dedication that is shown through the cleanliness and quality of the equipment. Mountain Fitness is a tremendous asset to our community. Located in the Peterborough plaza in the old Amazon space, the gym was constructed with extreme care and is stocked with the latest high-quality exercise equipment. And the supercharged air system keeps the air fresh and at an optimal temperature. Everything is there for a high quality workout experience - including showers and lockers - for a ridiculously low monthly charge, which goes month to month. My wife and I were heartbroken with losing the Bond several years ago and have knocked around looking for an adequate replacement. In my view, Mountain Fitness is an ideal solution. Hats off to the Schlotman family for bringing this cutting edge facility to our community
