I've been coming here for 6 years now and it's just getting more and more busy in the morning. It's a small gym and people will hog the same spot for an hour straight while others do nothing but sit on their phone for 15 minutes between each set. Good luck trying to find an open spot at the dumbbells or cables.
It's not a bad gym overall, but trying to work out when there are more than a dozen cars parked out front is frustrating.

I am incredibly frustrated by the persistent inability to resolve this matter. I have reached out multiple times, initiating several calls, only to consistently find the location manager unavailable. As someone who frequently travels internationally, navigating these issues from abroad is already challenging. A letter formally requesting cancellation was sent on October 23, 2024, yet I received no confirmation. This necessitated sending another letter on November 28. Despite my repeated attempts to call, my calls remain unanswered. Currently stationed in Australia, I'm further hampered by the inability to cancel or resolve this account online. My call today yielded the same disheartening result: the location manager remains unavailable

The sheer exasperation continues. After being asked to reach out, all I received was a generic bot response. And, predictably, another charge was attempted and thankfully blocked on an account that was officially requested for cancellation in writing on October 23, 2024.

As of May 22, 2025, I have received no call or email from the management team or the owner to resolve this issue. I have sent additional emails to the provided address requesting assistance, yet the problem persists. This lack of communication is unacceptable.

Some of the front desk people are very helpful and knowledgeable about payments and accounts the other one not so much and not so friendly about it. If you don't like your job get a different one. It doesn't hurt to just try to help someone out I know it's a gym but it's still a customer service when you are at the front desk especially.

The condition of the facility is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. When I joined their trainer, Eric, gave me a full demo of the equipment and put together a plan to help me reach my goals. Everyone is nice and cordial and there is great comradery between the members, I would recommend to anyone looking to get in better shape and hopefully live longer as a result. My only criticism is the automatic account upgrade that took place including an increase in fees. The desk staff were able to reverse it, but it shouldn't have happened.

Unprofessional and deceptive billing practices. I've been going to planet fitness for 6 years at the startham and other locations and never had a problem. Been coming to this location for 3-4 months and have had multiple issues related to the fact that I switched checking accounts, they can't keep records straight and kept trying to bill the old account, resulting in charges for me. Finally thought I had gotten through to them a month ago. Then today they called me 3 times in 10 minutes in the middle of the work day, 1:00PM, to say that even though they've received payment for the months fee that "active billing" is required and I have no access. Even if that were a valid reason to call me, which it isn't, it's incredibly unprofessional to spam call me three times in a row during the work day and when I asked what they were thinking, clearly meaning the frequency and timing of the calls, your employee answered "doing my job" ffs.

PF Raymond is undoubtedly the cleanest gym in NH. The staff is friendly and dedicated to the maintenance of the gear which is a really great assortment of everything you need to get a great and efficient workout regardless of your fitness level. There really isn’t much lacking in the equipment which is always in top condition and the locker rooms are spotless no matter what time of day you come. Brenda and her team really take pride in their work and consistently strive to make their gym a positive and comfortable experience for all. I tell all of my friends and family who are considering a gym membership to head over to PF Raymond!

The planet fitness in Raymond is a little smaller than most, but I found it to be very clean, not that busy, and the Staff exceptionally friendly. Also, they have the newest massage chairs that massage every part of your body. It’s a nice fringe benefit after a long workout.

This location has a very friendly and outgoing staff. This location is cleaner than Stratham Planet Fitness. It's not uncommon to see the staff cleaning. But, this place could use ceiling fans. New equipment has been added. I hope they add a Roman chair. Can feel a bit crampt. It is one of the smaller franchises. Not as many weight slammers but a few weight droppers. Music can be a bit loud. Only one weight bench, but, two cable machines. It does take awhile for pads to be replaced on the weight training equipment. Wifi available.
Update: Monday, June.2020; Clean and well maintained. I saw staff cleaning equipment. Weight slammers still there. People cleaning equipment after use.
Update:Thursday afternoon, February 2022; New massage chairs, just like the ones in Manchester.
Update: October 2023; New 🆕 treadmills and exercise equipment to use. A Roman Chair is finally available.

I'm a full time rv'er and I'm traveling all over the country and this club is not the biggest and not the smallest but what it definitely has going for it is a dedicated manager and her team. I am greeted when I check in and that goes a long way when you're already struggling just to get up and drive to the gym! It is never so crowded that I have to wait on a piece of equipment and according to the manager they're trying to improve on equipment. I am just passing through the area, but I can definitely say this is a great club.

I came in and wanted to get my husband a massage in the hydro massage and was told only black card members were allowed to do that. I had never been told that before.. I was always let to have a guest use the amenities.. I was very confused and kinda rude.. Props to Patrick that handled the situation very nicely and professionally! He was very sweet! I actually haven't been a member myself because I used to go for free with my brother's "Black Card" membership. This is a great gym for people all over the experience spectrum. Personally, I like the atmosphere they project; it's comfortable, not too intrusive but the staff, including trainers, are there if you want them. It's inviting because who doesn't want to get their beefcake on in a "Judgment Free Zone"? Amirite?

I’d love to see the underutilized back room, which is currently circuit training, be replaced with more free weights, but that’s a personal call. Every other Elliptical was blocked off. Masks were on when entering but many did not when exercising then PF made masks mandatory throughout the areas as of Aug. 1st. We feel much safer now.
