I have been to many yoga studios all over California, and many others as I traveled around the world. This is the best. I am proud to call this studio my home.

This place changed my life! The community is amazing! My yoga practice has gotten so much stronger and more intentional since finding EPY. From the space to the instructors, I feel nothing but LOVE, POSITIVITY, and ACCEPTANCE when I am here (on and off the mat!).

I absolutely love everything about EPY - the classes are amazing, the teachers are incredible, and after each class, I feel a sense of calm and accomplishment. I started practicing yoga 3 years ago (at EPY) and it's changed my life. What they teach inside the studio can be practiced in your day to day life. I am a better person because of my practice and the support of the community EPY has created. Not only is it an amazing physical workout, but you leave mentally refreshed too.

My experiences at EPY have been incredibly inspiring. EPY is so much more than a Hot Power Yoga Studio. It is a community of like minded individuals who are committed to serving others with professionalism , kindness and compassion.
All the teachers there have been through comprehensive training programs as well as in depth Reiki trainings.
The 8 fold path of Yoga is evolving to meet the needs of today in a world that is changing and EPY is rising to that need.

I absolutely love EPY and all of the instructors that practice here. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They remember your name and your story and truly make you feel like you've found a sacred space with them as a family. I absolutely love the music played during the classes and always feel so grateful and full when leaving my practice at EPY. I would recommend this space to anyone (especially beginners, like myself). They really teach you to be in your own mind when practicing. Nothing else in the room matter besides you and your mat and it is a magical feeling!

I came to this studio at the end of the winter to get back into my Asana practice. Iβve been practicing for a few years and am connected to the philosophy and spiritual healing impact of yoga and wanted to try out a new studio.
I came to Exeter Power Yoga and I enjoyed the cleanliness and COVID precautions they were taking in the studio to ensure student safety.
However, that is where the good review ends.
In taking multiple classes from multiple teachers (most if not all are students of the studio so all practice very similarly) and was greatly disappointed when I found myself in a studio where the main focus was to βget a work out inβ and not actually honor the practice and philosophy of yoga.
I feel very strongly in my experience there that they culturally appropriate the practice of yoga and Reiki as new age βhipβ practices and the whole experience felt very disingenuous and out of alignment with what yoga and Reiki truly are.
As a Reiki Master Teacher and yogi I was greatly disappointed to listen to country music and 90s rock as I flowed. Like this was a Zumba class or something, as well as fast sequences and awkward transitions that felt uncomfortable and potentially dangerous.
In my time there I noticed a few newbies to yoga come into the studio and these classes are labeled as βall levelsβ yet each class contained advanced poses that the teachers offered little to no instruction on how to get into the pose such as crow. Leaving new students to have to look around to watch others as they settled into this pose as the teachers do not practice with the students.
Unfortunately this space to me personally, feels like another white washed studio using yoga and Reiki as new age incentives that are not genuinely rooted in the traditional practices.
If you enjoy true yoga where it is a meditative movement guided by thoughtful and properly trained teachers, this is not the studio for you.
If you enjoy Zumba classes and just getting a workout in then this might be the space for you.

Tracey and her team are the best of the best! This is a beautiful and meticulously clean studio. The instructors are inviting and knowledgeable, always taking care to meet the individual needs of their students. My only complaint is making more time to get there to practice! LOVE!

Tracy and her team have created a unique community filled with love, support, and passion for yoga. My daughter and I have practiced with Tracy for a coupe of years and are so happy that she opened Exeter Power Yoga. She is sharing her gift with the amazing community she has built.

Exeter Power Yoga is a magical place. I practice at many different studios when I travel for work and play. At EYP I have been spoiled and compare all other studios to my home base. The Power Yoga is a great workout and it can be challenging. If you are new to Power Yoga the instructors make sure no one feels pressured to do anything they are not comfortable with, and if you're experienced you feel comfortable moving into a more advanced posture. This is not even what I love most about EYP. What I love most is the spirituality and connection the instructors have and share with the class, the art of the Breath, and the constant reminder that one can take yoga off the mat and into daily life. I leave class less stressed, relaxed, happy and so grateful. I recommend EYP to all yogi practitioners.

A beautiful atmosphere run with love by an amazing team of yogis. It is impeccably clean. The best and most unique part takes place at the end of every class where you receive a little reiki with a soothing massage by the instructors. Such a wonderful place!
