I have been training with Easton for a short time, but he has helped me more with my chronic back pain than any chiropractor, physical therapist or even orthopedic specialist has. He has geared workouts specifically to my needs to build core strength. I feel less pain in the morning and no longer have to roll out of bed. I’m feeling stronger with each session. He has also helped get my nutrition in order and I am starting to finally lose stubborn weight. I highly recommend his training sessions.

I’ve been a member of the Bedford Zoo Health Club since December 2022 and have had a fantastic experience there. The space is always super clean, the equipment is well-maintained, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The staff are all friendly and helpful, which adds to the positive vibe.

I’ve also taken personal training sessions here and can’t recommend them enough. The owner, Easton, has been incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. He worked with me to create a personalized workout plan that not only aligns with my fitness goals but also takes into account an injury I’ve been managing. I’ve felt challenged, but never pushed beyond what’s safe or smart for my body.

I left planet fitness and came to this gym in June 2022 and have just recently left as I no longer live in the area. It was exactly what I was looking for as it has everything you need. Even has dumbells that go over 75 lbs unlike Planet Fitness. Never had to wait on machines or benches as there was plenty to go around. Easton the owner does a great job keeping the machines and the place up to date. If im ever back in the area, you know what gym I will be going to!

Great gym, good amount of equipment. Well maintained for the most part and the owner is awesome. Only complaint is, I go pretty late at night after work, and the door is ALWAYS unlocked. This is a safety concern and should be addressed ASAP. Not sure if the closing employees forget every single night or what, because every once in a blue moon it will be locked. I feel alot better working out with a locked door behind me.
Other than that the price is a great deal for what you get, and if you have the higher level membership like me you can also go to the other locations if youre out of town!

Been in NH for the summer for work and signed up for The Zoo in Derry. Quickly sought a new location and tried the Willow St Manchester one as well before coming to the one in Bedford. Since then I haven't been back to the Derry or Manchester locations, even though they're a few minutes closer for me. Those locations are way too busy & you wind up waiting for equipment. The Bedford location is smaller than the others yet less busy at almost all times. In 3 months I've never really had to wait for a piece of equipment. Gym goers are friendly here and the staff is friendly & keeps the place very clean. Will miss this gym when I leave.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Pretty much had the place to ourselves! It was clean on the floor as well as in the restrooms. Although, much smaller than other Zoo locations, it had everything we needed. We didn't see any staff on duty at any point, which is not really an issue. Will definitely visit this location again!

the power rack near the dumbbells should go about 2 feet closer to the left wall, really awkward pulling the 45s off when they are right next to the dumbbell rack

Use to love gym. Disappointed that it got sold to the zoo because when it it was choice fitness I had use of all there clubs for the same price. Now I'm being told if I want to use other zoo clubs I have to upgrade my membership. Some how doesn't seem right!!! Also just like the other zoo clubs it's become messy and equipment not being put away. Just what I would expect from a zoo club.

I would like to follow-up on my review from a year ago: This gym continues to be an excellent venue for working out. It is exceptionally clean, the equipment is kept in good standing and a great value for the cost of membership. Eric, the owner, is on site often and is clearly invested in the happiness of his clientele and the success of the operation. With the 24 hour availability, it is never overly crowded and I have always found the other members to be friendly and courteous. I have been a member for years and have never had an issue with billing. I highly recommend Choice Fitness!

I used Choice Fitness early in the mornings. It was always clean, and there is a great variety of equipment for all types of workouts. There is equipment for HITT type workouts, TRX bands, and space to do yoga and Pilates. There is also all the weights and machines you need to get a fantastic workout. Excellent gym for self-motivated exercise enthusiasts with enough classes for those who prefer guided types of exercise.

I was a member of this club for past 4+ years or so, until I moved out of Bedford, NH. The location was very convenient. You have right balance between Cardio and strength training, at this facility. I took some personal lessons from the trainer and it was great. Very flexible in terms of schedule etc. Some of my friends took group lessons and their feedback is positive as well.

I joined Choice Fitness about a year ago and had a great experience. It's super clean, and the staff is great. In all my interactions, they have been very polite and courteous. The owner greeted me every single time I came in. I think this is the best gym in the Bedford area. I could have joined a gym in Manchester but chose CF because it was more personal and more like my old gym I had a membership at for 13 years. Great equipment, plenty of machines, and can't beat the hours.

If you enjoy getting late payment notices for all the months AFTER your membership ended this is definitely the place to go. My membership ended in January and I'm still getting notices from ABC Financial after the club has confirmed twice I have no membership. Best part is when they somehow charge your credit card after the number has changed.

RESPONSE TO OWNERS COMMENT - you don't see any charges there because I got my bank involved and they took care of everything. Never heard back from your gym or ABC Financial about a resolution. Started this process in August of 2020 and finally got it resolved in February 2021. It should never be this difficult.

I've used Choice fitness for the past year or so, and up until recently they have handled Covid-19 very well. Since moving to NH and coming to this Bedford facility, there is no enforcement of masks whatsoever, nor an attempt to keep 6ft. I'll be moving to a more safe gym.

I have been a member for many years and have always been very pleased with the facility and staff. The equipment is well maintained and the premises are always clean. There is a wide range of members: retired, not retired, young, not as young and I suspect the different lifestyles allows for different attendance times, which usually results in the gym not usually being too crowded. I have been a few times since Choice has re-opened (due to the Covid pandemic) and feel very comfortable. I had a conversation with the owner about the steps he has taken to provide a safe environment and it is obvious he cares and has taken appropriate actions. Choice is a 24 hour facility and that makes it very convenient for those who get up early. There are trainers for those who are interested in classes or personal sessions; I have never done that, but I've heard many say they enjoy and benefit from that option. I would highly recommend Choice Fitness.

Close to my home. I workout in the early morning and it is never crowded. They have everything. Cardio equipment (elliptical, bikes, treadmills, stairs), free weights and all the typical machines. What sold me was the turf area where you can do your own cardio or where they hold CFX classes. It's 24 hours a day (not staff 24 hours) but I can access anytime with my card.

7 months ago I left 1 star because of the Manger at the time. She was nasty. She is no longer at Choice Fitness and the new manger is such a breath of fresh air. Not only is she completely hands on, but is educated in sports management. She always has a smile on her face and is very encouraging. I have even hired a personal trainer. Prior to this, I paid monthly but stopped going. I am now going 4 to 5 days a week. For those of you who had the same experience, come back and check it out.

I finally got out of my 1 year membership with this gym and couldnt be happier! I disliked almost everything about this place. At any point in time 3-4 of the treadmills would be 'out of service'. The machines that were working still had various issues such as the speed controls sticking and the TV not working. I asked a few times when all these issues would be resolved and wasn't given a decisive answer. Another thing that bothered me was the amount of dust everywhere, on the old drab curtains and on the ceiling. The group classes here are in the open part of the weights section so it is very awkward to partake in front of the whole gym. You will feel like you are doing a performance for everyone to watch.

I go early in the day before work or during my lunch break and this gym has never been packed. Not sure about after work hours.
The staff have always been polite. I haven't had any issues. I've never noticed the gym being too hot.
At least it isn't Planet Fitness.
If people have an issue with a gym they pay $9.99-$19.99/month at maybe they should join Latitude for $50 a month.
This place is almost always close to empty. If you hate working out next to 30 people and fighting for the next spot on a machine or weights, this is a nice little hidden gem.

I've been a member here for years (since it was Club Fitness) and I have seen a significant decline in the staff, the equipment, and facility as a whole. The staff (specifically the General Manager) has been nothing short of rude since she took over the gym when it transitioned to Choice Fitness. I have addressed various concerns with her (including broken/faulty equipment and extremely high temperatures of the facility) only to be brushed off with no response. At any given time nearly 3-5 treadmills are broken, which out of the 13 outdated treadmills they offer, only leaves a 62% availability rate (even at peak times). The gym's solution includes a piece of paper taped to it warning members they are non-functioning (or as they like to say "temporarily unavailable.") There is a severe lack of proper ventilation in the gym and on many occasions, regarding the outside temperature (most specifically in the summer months), the only location where A/C is circulating is directly above the check-in desk, where management spends the majority of their shifts. Additionally, of the 3 thermostats in the building all are covered with a piece of paper to prevent members to see what the temperature in the facility is. As a paying customer, it comes across as more than coincidental/ironic that the building is often “stuffy” and members are unable to check the thermostat. Additionally, numerous weight machines are in need of maintenance as they do not operate smoothly (they often get stuck upon use). Their continued dismissal of member concerns is not only unprofessional but discourteous to individuals who are spending their hard-earned dollar there. The only reason I have given the gym 2 stars is the cost of the membership and convenience of its location - though the saying "you get what you pay for" rings true in this circumstance. As a side note, when I contacted their "corporate office" in Haverhill with a formal letter, I received no response from any of the owners which leads me to believe their lack of integrity is a common theme with Choice Fitness, as a company. If you are looking for a sub-par facility, with lack of A/C in 90 degree weather, broken equipment (that does not get repaired), and disgruntled staff who provide no customer service - this is the gym for you!

I belong to a couple gyms and I have to say that the Bedford, NH location is one of the best kept gyms that I frequent. Ann and her staff are constantly cleaning the machines and making sure that everything is in order. It is a great express gym with dumbbells up to 80lbs, a squat rack, leg press and plenty of cardio machines. For the monthly price, the friendly staff and free tanning option, I would highly recommend this gym.
