I went in to check out the gym to help me decide if I wanted a membership. I had to wait ten minutes for someone to appear at the front desk. I asked the FDA if I could have a tour and he told me to just go look. The gym was quite dirty, as it can be due to winter weather. I had to navigate the gym myself because the FDA didn't give me a tour.
But, what I didn't like was that he was behind the desk on his cell phone and vaping on the job! I also didn't like that there was only one staff member on site.

Shoutout to staff and management for helping an AZ snowbird! They made special effort to ensure I had an affordable plan for time spent in Nashua. Gym is awesome and trainer Darrim giving me the medication and formula to get back in shape! Milan and Mike rock as managers - work with customers to make membership no pressure and stress free! The string of one star reviews should tell you something. Having been a member of several gyms all over the country, workout world has by far the worst customer service and unprofessional employees I have encountered. Employees don’t last or don’t care. Managers are never available or refuse to return phone calls. Sales practices are unethical. No paper contracts. Associate “didn’t enter” my email so I did not receive an electronic copy either. Sales associates don’t know the actual terms of the contracts. Wrong pricing was posted at the time. Repeated calls to associates who didn’t know how to or didn’t want to be helpful. Never received a call back from the “manager”

Scam company took my money last month 25 dollars more , I tried the cancellation and I didnt the update my new debit card now again 90.00 and I did the cancellation 55.48 terrible company. I contacted the company a lot times and I did the explanation about I change my debit card I can make the payment fair . The company put the lot fees and months I don’t use the Gym .

This place is a joke. They hire kids that don't open the doors in the morning. Always late or just don't bothering to show up at all. 15-20 paying members to be left outside in the morning staring at locked doors. If I could give zero stars I would.

I have been a member with Work Out World for many years. At one point I had cancelled as I had medical issues and was not really able to go to the gym. I re-joined again...but much to my dismay, I am not really using the facility. Where I work they have gyms, not to mention I can join Planet fitness for $10.00 a month, and not have to pay a membership fee. I just got hit with a $50.00 fee today on 2/18. Not to mention they billed my bank for for $10.00 for Jan & Feb. and I have not even gone to the gym. This club thrives on the folks that give free money to them! I asked them if they would help and at least give me some credit...as I have been billed me for $70.00 without using the gym and cancelling today! They come back and thank me for their loyalty, but do not want to honor some kind of payment restitution back...very inflexible with their customer service. If I have ever re-considered coming back...today seals the deal, and I will never step foot in Work Out World again. The club is old...and there are other clubs that have just as much, and are newer. I'm being told that they are raising their rates from $10.00 a month to $14.95? Good luck to you Work Out World, better change your billboard outside. Yes, this place is a rip-off with no soul. I am going to send a notice to the Better Business Bureau. Whether I get somewhere or not, I am going to bring light of their horrible customer service. Their gym is nothing extraordinary, and there are many gyms to choose from that are are not so outdated. The place could use some cleaning. They are easy to join, but difficult to cancel. Buyer beware...of the snare. What may look to good to be true is bad to the bone.

This is the first gym I've belonged to I was always hesitate to join a gym but am glad I did the staff is super friendly and laid back Nicole signed me up she took the time to show me around I like that they have a woman's room and daycare I have to say though Abe or abi sorry I missed his name but I will definitely get it and be sure to bring my son back to the daycare when he is on he was so great with the kids he played simple games with them like red light green light and Simon says my son had so much fun you could hear all the kids laughing and playing it was great my son was even asking when we can go back which is so great for me I'm definitely going to try to workout around his schedule 😉

If i could rate this gym below one star best believe that I would, I have been a member here since 2013 and it has been bearable up until now. My wife no longer wants to come to the gym because she is limited to the time she can come and when she does come to the gym after 6:00 pm she feels as if she is being stared at by the male staff member working the front desk. We had no problem when we come into work out earlier in the morning and find the front desk workers here in the am polite, kind, and approachable. We've also stopped bringing in our child because the babysitters could care less about the children and more focused on talking on the phone.

It's a Workout World. Not much else to say. It's what you think it is. Older rusty equipment along side some newer ones. A good amount of treadmills, ellipticals, and some bikes. But there are a lot of machines. At least 2 of each, but some are similar. The staff has always been nice and are helpful. It's a gym, so of course you have your knuckle heads who slam weights down and do the "Ahh-look-at-me-and-look-how-impossibly-strong-I-am-by-how-many-weights-i-can-pick-up-and-put-down" grunting. But they are greatly outnumbered by average, as well as above and below average, people who are there to just make their lives better. If you have money to spend on a high end gym or a power lifter/bodybuilder, then more power to you, but this gym would be a bit below what you'd need. For the rest of us, this is a good, safe, friendly place to workout and take classes.

I don’t recommend Work Out World because they can’t seem to open the gym on time. There have been numerous mornings in the last month or so that the gym isn’t opened at the time posted. I’ve been holding off on writing a negative review but this is getting really old. Today, Saturday May 25, the gym isn’t opened. They were supposed to open at 5 a.m. and it is now 7:30 a.m.

At least 20 people have shown up trying to exercise this morning and they all have left very frustrated.

I did try callong and emailing you guys and no one seems to care or want to do there job uh guys are a complete waste of time and u guys have wasted enough of mine.......Worst gym ever went there with my daughter and they turned me away because at 4 o clock they couldnt add her to my membership. Staff was rude about it and wouldn't give me a day pass for her. Not my fault they haven't had a full time manager in 3 months. Save your money people and go to a real gym. Just remember you get what you pay for so go to a real gym and if you want a cheap gym planet fitness is at least clean so I would recommend not wasting your time or money at this place.

I paid for the platinum plan which is said to come with personal training sessions and it's totally a scam because if you want to keep doing them you will have to pay at least $60 plus $49 dollars for ONE session per month. Guy in the counter didn't explain that before I paid

Gave myself a couple days to cool off before this one. Went in on a Saturday to sign up. Told to come back tomorrow because the kid behind the counter didnt know how to do that. Come back a couple days later explained what happened and was ignored by the manager who was only feet away. The guy who starts the sign up process was very polite and apologetic so no complaints there but then after taking my info mentions a extra fee of $50...
ALL thier signs say, $10 to sign up, $10 a month, NO COMMITMENT! This is a lie. It's either $60 to sign up then $10 month or its $10 to sign up then $14 a month. I know basic math...why dont they? Still considering reporting this to the BBB for false advertising.
Planet fitness is very transparent about the price, why wouldn't these people be?

I've been with work out world for two years. I go to the gym because I have to.Unfortunately it's cost me $90 in overdraft fee's because of negligent bookkeeping. The most recent is when I signed up my son as a family add on in June of 22017.After 3 months he hasn't made it to the gym once so I canceled his membership in September. I kept enough funds in my account to last a year. In may of 2018 abc financial wanted to update my account info. That's when I found out wow took his membership fees out until march of 2018 which is why I was charged an over draft fee of $30 I told the manager about it. She looked into my story and said they would reimburse me $70 I asked about the $30 overdraft fee and they won't pay it so again I lose. I have a limited income because of physical disabilities which is why I go to the gym. I've met some good people at wow good friends. I like wow it helps me strengthen my disabilities. My suggestion to new members is to make sure you monitor your account constantly. The sad part is my children warned me about that and I didn't listen.if the manager can't resolve this I hope the owner can

This place is filthy. The staff is lazy and indifferent to member concerns. The custodians do nothing. One in particular works around twirling a dirty rag making creepy animal noises. The hours of operation keep decreasing. The sauna is always cold, it takes an hour to heat up and if you call to have it turned on before your arrival they won't oblige. This place is a real horror show.

I have made several attempts to speak to the manager at the gym and every time I have called, there is always a reason she can't take a call. Either she's not there or to busy but when I was there working out I see her do nothing but sit on her cellphone talking or just not in the building just like the majority of young kids they have hired there for management or employees they do everything else but work. When I tried to address my issue with her in person about my contract she told me she would look into it and had never responded back and when I used to go to that gym she tried to dodge both me and my wife. This gym has became a joke they go threw there managers constantly they never have had actual committed workers there. The kids only do there job if there is a complaint, except of her making sure they are working she is constantly sitting down at her desk joking around except of them cleaning machines or been at the front desk its like a cat and mouse game trying to find a worker there in the evening. Thank god they have only one employee who I have seen work there the longest and actually is there every time I had gone to the front or is visible to be found if needed threw out the floor and thats only in the morning good luck trying to find an employee in the evening after his gone. The gentlemen's name is Jose, but I know his the only one who has helped me every time because later on in the evening trying to get one of those kids to work is a game there either hiding in the small break room on there phones or in the corners of the gym talking to friends. My conclusion to this is I think its time to change out your district managers and hire one who can hire the proper manager/employees that is needed for the gym and provide them with the appropriate training they need. If I had a choice I would give the five stars just to that one employee in the morning who is always there doing his job, not the gym it's self because the kids they hire in the afternoon/ evening to work don't and the machines and bathrooms never get cleaned. Not sure what you all expect for ten bucks a month. You get what you pay for. I have been going 4 mornings a week for the past 4 years. It is perfect for me. I go in the morning and always find a treadmill. The same morning staff (one employee ) has been there for quite a while and is so super friendly and customer oriented. Always asks if everything is okay and if I need anything. Love Jose. The womens changing room is usually clean when I go in there in the morning, maybe as it gets busier throughout the day, it may get messy. I can speak for the morning worker. He is always going around sweeping and cleaning and being friendly to the clientele. My experience for 4 years in the a.m. has been positive...
