Anytime Fitness was a great gym. I say was because they single handedly ruined any chance of continuing to be one. Here is the scoop:

Around October Anytime brings in a new "Manager." Now this "Manager" comes to Anytime, friendly guy, walks around and gets to know everyone. He then sends out emails/texts to all the current members saying "Hey we appreciate your business, we want to bring you in and offer you new member offers, 4 months free blah blah blah." So you think, ok cool finally a business who wants to keep customers going. They get a bunch of people signing back up and bringing their friend to be new members. All is well.

Fast forward to December and the new "Manager" is no where to be found. Come to find out, the replaced him with another new "Manager." This new "Manager" is nice and friendly much like the last guy, but she was different. She was more focused on getting you to bring your friends in under any circumstances to try and get them to sign up. They even started having flyers around the gym like some cell phone store or used car dealer to try and get you to sign new members up. But hey, I understand you want new members whatever.

This new "Manager" only lasts a little bit then they bring in another "Manager." She was here for a couple of weeks and then at the beginning of February they send out an email saying they are closing this location and everyone has to go to the Williamstown location instead starting at the end of the month. Now I don't know if they've ever gone to the Williamstown location, but it has nothing on this location. It's a weird design, it's dark, it feels dirty. So no I don't want to go to the Williamstown location I want to go to the location I've been going to for a couple years now. They tell me that we can only leave if we pay half of what we still owe. Now I'm no expert, nor do I claim to be one, but you just so happen to be closing after the four free months you offered to people and are forcing them to drive further to a worse location. That is way too much of a coincidence for me and they will never get my business or anyone I knows business ever again.

TL;DR do not spend your time or money at Anytime Fitness and their "Managers"

Really rough experience here. Tried to cancel my membership and they never submitted the paperwork. Continued to charge me and would not help in any way. Go to Edge Fitness. Better facilities, equipment, and better staff.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Management is a mess and they've taken so much of my money that I've been fighting to get back. Signed up with a trainer that never showed up. They promised my money back, have yet to receive it even after calling multiple times. Tried to cancel my membership since I moved where there isn't one in the area, they are still charging my card. Tried calling today, says he's new they're changing management (I've heard this before) says he has to talk the owner and to call back. I'm so fed up with this place. DO NOT SIGN UP HERE!!!!!

Trainers are rude. Music is too loud. Not well maintained. It was great when it first opened with a fantastic staff of trainers but the staff that’s there now just don’t care. You’re not a member to them. You’re just a money source. They don’t answer the phone, they won’t return calls if you leave messages. They won’t fix equipment efficiently and they aren’t there to help. This gym is too expensive with too little features. Go somewhere else.

For 30 dollars a month the gym is small and not well maintained. The trash will be full for a few days. The staff just stands around and talk or sit on machines and talk.

Gym is a little on the smaller side but has everything one needs if you know what you're doing when working out. Nice new equipment works seamlessly and smoothly with no jerking or sticking points like one may experience with older equipment. Gym offers free come in and try it out to see if it fits what you are looking for so give it a try and stay healthy In life!

Smaller size but still nice none the less. New equipment n no crowds makes for a good gym. The price is great too if u hit the special they have at the moment.

Repairs never get done. They just put a weight over top of one of the problems.

Clean facilities and a decent amount of equipment including free weights and dumbbells up to 100 lb. 24-hour key fob access. DB section is kind of small. One cable machine, two full squat racks. They offer a 7-day free trial. I am only giving them two stars because the membership is extremely overpriced at $34.99 per month, considering equipment variation and facility size. This is South Jersey, not Manhattan! Stick to local chains for better value.
