My husband and I began to search for a swim school after our daughter became afraid of our personal pool. Our summer fun in the backyard turned into constant cries. After visiting another local swim school, my husband and I were impressed by the size of the establishment as it was smaller with more personable staff. We signed both children (7 months and 21 months) up immediately after the tour.

Our children's comfort level and skills have improved in just 5 months. Both of our children are excited about swim class and are eager to get in the pool every week. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and provide differentiated instruction in the moment. The front desk personnel are welcoming and helpful with scheduling. I am truly amazed that they seem to know every family that walks through the door.

I also enjoy the app where I can see my children's progress and read the instructors' notes. It is also easy to cancel and reschedule a class if we are unable to attend class that week. I do wish the makeup classes didn't expire after 6 months, especially since they are paid classes. Having two toddlers in daycare increases the chances of being sick and therefore, we have had to cancel a few times. I am hoping to do 2 sessions some weeks to redeem before expiration.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Aqua-Tots Mount Laurel. We are having such a great time bonding with our children in the classes (they are both now in Level 2 which is a parent and child class) learning from the coaches, and witnessing our children flourish. We look forward to seeing more growth as they continue to move up in levels.

I highly recommend Aqua-Tots Swim School! Coach Lexi has been incredible with my son. At first, my son struggled with separation anxiety and didn’t want to get in the water without me. Coach Lexi was so caring, patient, and supportive. She took the time to build trust and make my son feel comfortable. In just a month, my son went from being hesitant to confidently swimming back with his classmates without any issues. We are so grateful for the positive experience and progress!

Every single person we’ve encountered has been fantastic. This place really REALLY cares about the kids. One of the biggest transitions is when the 2.5 year olds switch to the next class and they no longer have their parent there. Aqua tots has all hands on deck when they have any kids making that transition to make everything go as smoothly as possibly (because as you can imagine, it can be a huge milestone for some kids) . We have also seen some circumstances happen that were completely out of anyone at Aqua tots control, and they handle it SO well. I can’t stress that enough. Safety first and when warranted they add a made up class to your account. Speaking of their make up policy, it is unmatched by any other children’s / kids activity I’ve seen so far. Of course it’s best to stick with the same couch to get the best results but they also understand that parents lives are very hectic now a days and sometimes we just need to switch a class a few hours before our original class was supposed to start. We love the Mt Laurel Aqua tots. From Miss Debbie and Miss Ali at the desk to all of the instructors. My kids have learned so much there, they’re becoming so confident in the pool and it’s a tremendous relief to see actual progress on a day to day basis versus another swim location we were at. They’re excited to go every time because they love their coaches. My daughter goes home and pretends to be Miss Emily. My son tells his friends about Miss Zoey, Miss Hannah, and Miss Lexi, he thinks they’re so cool and he looks up to them. It’s such a fun and welcoming environment to learn such an important skill and we’ve recommended it to everyone who asks. This is an exceptional swim school. The facility is large and clean, with plenty of changing rooms, so you never have to wait to get your child ready for class. The staff and instructors are extremely kind and patient; they know exactly how to get a nervous, crying toddler into the pool and having fun. Safety protocol is top notch; there's a lifeguard on duty and little ones are always holding the instructor's hand while on the pool deck. We love being able to track our son's progress through the app, so we know what he's working on and where he is in his swim journey. Their class make-up policy is super fair, too, which is a huge plus.

This is an amazing swim school! I previously was paying for lessons at a local gym and they were completely useless compared to what my daughter has learned in just a few classes here! Just at her evaluation she was more confident and did more skills than she ever did at her past school. She had no life-saving water skills at all and in two months she is swimming independently.

The teachers are friendly, front desk staff (Debbie especially) are so kind and remember the kids by name. Their deck supervisor Julia is always enthusiastic and excited to see the students. They have a convenient app where you can reschedule classes if needed and you have the ability to freeze your account in case of emergency. I highly recommend!

Signing up our son for this swim school was the best decision we’ve made. Everyone is so welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. The hardest decision was which instructor we wanted to put him with because they’re all so great! Ultimately we decided instructor Courtney was the best fit! The school is clean, curriculum is consistent and reinforced, student to teacher ratio is low (4-1), staff is friendly and helpful, classes are also easy to schedule or reschedule as needed, and I also like that the instructors work at the pace of each student and parent. Most of all, my 10 month old son seems to enjoy coming. He claps his hands and smiles while we wait for his name to be called. We started when our son was 20 months old and have been here for a little under 2 months/1x a week and he loves it. Max class size for his age is 4 which is great and they keep the lessons consistent which 1) helps the parent to learn best practices and 2) really shows the progress being made. Another plus is he consistently has the same teacher who he loves and it helps that the teacher knows his skill level. For anyone worried “dunking” your child - they let you do this at your own pace and let you know alternative options if your child doesn’t seem ready yet! My son looks forward to this every week and literally laughs/smiles the whole class.

Not the best swim school for us. Maybe some other kids do well with this style, but my daughter (3.5) had major anxiety after the first lesson.

They mentioned they dunk the kids right away, but did not mention all they do is dunk for 30 minutes straight. My daughter cried the whole time. Another girl in her class cried so hard she threw up.

I was afraid this type of lesson would make my daughter afraid of the water, not lean to love it.

I called to cancel and they were very friendly and concerned. You can not get a refund, but the lessons never expire. Once my daughter learns to swim somewhere else, maybe I’ll bring her back for more advanced lessons.

This is an all around, very well-run establishment. The staff is incredibly nice and energetic, scheduling lessons is very easy, the communication about my children’s progress between speaking with the instructors after each session as well as what is provided in the app is truly above and beyond, and they have found a way to completely turn my kids’ “tears and fears” into positive experiences and enjoyment in the water. I really appreciate that my kids now feel a sense of accomplishment after their lessons and are becoming more and more confident with their skills each time we attend a lesson (and yes, we were a family that started out going into the first few lessons with tears!) Even though they still get nervous at times trying something new, the instructors have been really good at skill reinforcement and helping them overcome their uneasiness in the water. It’s only been a little over a month since we started lessons twice a week and given the improvement I’ve seen in just that time, I’m really excited to see the kids in the water this summer swimming more independently with their friends. Huge shout out to Coach Hanna, Coach Elena, Coach Julia and Coach Jen for all of your patience and the magic you’ve made happen! I cannot say enough good things about this swim school. My daughter was so afraid to restart swimming and cried the first few lessons. She was so out of control to the extent where she pushed one of the lovely staff members who was trying to console her. They were so patient with her. They have the friendliest front house staff. The swim instructors are so sweet! I am speechless as to how well my daughter has progressed and how comfortable she feels in the water. She was smiling by her 3rd class. Very Happy! My toddler was really struggling with comfort in the water. The staff is kind, energetic, communicative and focused. After only a few lessons, my daughter is already getting more comfortable and learning valuable *life saving* skills.

Awesome instructors and good response in Aqua Tots Mount laurel location. Our son loves to go there and learn swimming. Instructor is very patience with the kids and make them learn slowly and kind to all kids. Good maintenance. Awaiting to attend the Open House.:)

I cannot say enough good things about Aqua-Tots in Mount Laurel. We have used other swim schools in the area in the past and Aqua-Tots blows them all out of the water. The class sizes are small and I feel like even after the first lesson my girls were more confident in the pool. Even with a 4:1 ratio they are spending individual time with each of the students and working towards the child's individual goals. When class is over you are provided with feedback and tips on what to try at home from the instructor as well as an update to the goals chart for each student and can see what skills they will need to master in order to move up to the next level. 10/10 would recommend to any parents looking to get their kids started in swim lessons.
