I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist and a Weight Loss Specialist with a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Exercise Science. Atlas was founded with the mindset of creating a business that stands out from any other personal training establishment. I started working with Nick at Atlas Personal Training in April 2024. I left a long-term physical therapy practice with the goal of finding someone who could provide more targeted personal training for the challenges presented by multiple sclerosis, which has caused some significant right-side weakness and mobility limitations. From the first evaluation appointment, Nick demonstrated his thoughtful approach – he asked meaningful questions about my abilities, limitations, and goals and actually listened to the answers. From there, he designed a challenging and effective program that has clearly built strength in the target areas.
I saw the evidence of this on a June trip to Costa Rica – I was able to complete a 3.5 mile rainforest hike complete with steep inclines and suspension bridges; this was a significant achievement for me, as I used to be a distance hiker and haven’t felt able to do more than 1 mile at a time since about 2019. This rainforest hike was particularly significant for me – I had given up any thought of doing something like this until recently, and it was a bucket list experience. I feel confident in saying it would not have been possible without the support from Nick.

No matter what my days or weeks look like, my sessions with Nick are the one thing I never miss. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and understands how to push you without being overbearing. We've worked through injuries with corrective and stretching routines, we've pushed the limits on weight training to get me to reach goals I never before thought were possible. Nick is incredibly encouraging and is there every step of the way with routines, and also nutrition and what exercise I accomplish on my own. Could not ask for a better trainer!

I've only been going to Nick for training for a month and I gotta say it is one of the best decisions I've made. The workout routines are tough yet rewarding and he is a great motivator and really cares about his clients. I ma seeing great results in such a short period of time. Nick is awesome. Ive been working with him since November and he’s made working out kinda fun. He’s got the perfect personality for what he does. He’s very cognizant of goals and how everything feels. I’ve got back issues and he consistently checks in to make sure all is well. My favorite thing is that all I have to do is show up, he’s got everything figured out, sets it up, breaks it down, etc. Even puts on music you’re into and remembers what you don’t like. He is true to his craft and is all around nice and personable. I’d recommend him to anyone.

I’ve worked with Nick at Atlas on and off for years. He’s great at customizing my workouts and keeping me motivated. Now he even has an app with workouts I can do at the gym in my building to make it even easier to keep me going even when I can’t get to an appointment with him. Can’t recommend Nick and Atlas highly enough!

Nick is so personable & attentive. He is diligent in asking about any injuries or issues before every session, & he'll modify any workout if needed. I appreciate how he knows how to push me to get to the next level, but not to the point where I feel unsafe. Love the Boot camps too!

I have trained with Nick for five years. I was hesitant to get a trainer because I thought I knew what I had to know for beneficial training. Five years later, Nick is still showing me new exercises. As a trainer Nick is knowledgeable, skilled, communicates well. He is always positive and highly motivated. He has an in-depth knowledge of the body, comprehends the interaction of the muscular and skeletal systems and can identify which exercises will or will not be appropriate for my training goals. He is immensely proud of the business he has built and uses his business acumen to provide opportunities for his clients relative to their goals. He wants you to succeed in whatever your goals may be. He is always prepared and always ready for YOU!
As a person Nick has a great personality. He is thoughtful, considerate, sincere. He is passionate about his clients, particularly meeting their goals. His motivation and enthusiasm are always at a “can do” level because “cannot do” is not an option.
