I started working one-on-one with Dara a year ago. I wanted to get in shape, maintain a consistent workout routine, and feel better, overall. I was able to achieve these results and so much more! I have lost weight, gained muscle, learned how to strength train, and enjoy coming to my workouts! I have trained with Dara, Mark, and Kristin, and they are all wonderful. Be Healthy Personal Trainer is hands down the best personal trainer I have ever worked with. As a Physical Therapist I can't tell you how many times I have referred patients to Dara. For some individuals they have to stop PT for a variety of reasons, but are not yet ready to go work out on their own. In cases like this, Dara and her company is always my first choice to recommend. Dara is extremely knowledgable and wonderful to work with. She keeps up to date with her knowledge of the field and has a long standing experience working in PT clinics. She does a thorough evaluation and designs unique exercises plans that are appropriate for each client. She knows how to safely introduce and educate people about exercise and progress them appropriately. I can confidently say I fully trust her to treat individuals of all ages, after injuries, and with specific diagnosis/conditions. This is a company that genuinely cares about their clients and will work to meet them at any level whether you are new to exercise, coming back from an injury, or have been doing it for years. I cannot recommend Be Healthy Trainer enough. This is a facility that is worth the investment because they will help you to achieve your goals and do so in a safe, monitored environment.

Dara is AMAZING and I am lucky to call her a friend as well as a trainer! Her staff is incredible, friendly, and knowledgeable. I enjoy coming to workout every week. I have been using Be Healthy Personal Trainer for 8 1/2 years. Dara G is an incredible physical trainer. My balance and core strength have improved considerably. Functional activities are so much easier. I highly recommend that you schedule some time to check out her gym and see for yourself. I wanted to find a small facility where my teenage son and I could work out together. He's on the autism spectrum, so it was important to me to find a place where he can be himself, and I don't have to feel like I need to micromanage him. We are learning how to lift weights and exercise with proper form. The personal trainers are encouraging, patient, and observant. They craft a routine for your specific goals and ability, and they never hesitate to explain how to do the exercises. It's amazing how quickly you start to build muscle here. I appreciate the challenging workouts prepared for me and my son, and if he needs to walk around or take a break or sit down for a bit, they support him and encourage him. It means a lot to me to be able to do my own work out in other parts of the facility without worrying about him.

I love that I'm meeting people and making friends! I appreciate the small group sizes and the convenient times offered throughout the day Monday through Saturday. You can book your sessions online or on their app, and you pay weekly. I've seen people of all ages and abilities here, and it's great to see everyone doing their own workouts and pushing themselves to be stronger. It's a welcoming place for all, and they have an amazing therapy dog there to brighten your day. They offer HIIT and Zumba workouts. You also get a free trial to feel things out, so don't be nervous to give it a try.

I recently stumbled across Be Healthy Personal Trainer when doing a quick Google search for gyms in my area. I read the reviews and figured it would be worth a shot to check it out. I just completed my free evaluation with Dara and I can’t say enough about how warm and welcoming she made me feel. The facility is immaculate and has all of the equipment I have been exposed to at traditional gyms.

I’ve been to other trainers in the past and they have never provided me with such a deep understanding of how to achieve my goals safely and effectively. We spoke about diet and where most trainers would be super critical from the start, Dara was supportive and helped me to understand how I can still enjoy myself but make better choices. I never once felt embarrassed, which I think is super important to keep me moving forward. I am looking forward to Dara’s custom workout plan and finally getting back to a healthier version of myself. Thank you, Dara! I am excited to get started!

I started working with Dara immediately after being release from 12 weeks of physical therapy from my shoulder surgery in February. Not only has my shoulder healed and strengthened tremendously, but I’m losing weight, gaining muscle, and improving my overall fitness. Between my one-on-one sessions with Dara and the home program she has developed for me, I’m more consistently in the gym than I have been in the past 25 years! As someone who was completely out of shape, with a surgically repaired ankle, I was concerned that I would re-injure the ankle if I didn’t take action. I had done my PT in the same place as BHPT and got to know them pretty well.
After being evaluated by Dara, she felt I could be helped 100 percent and I agreed to give it a try. I am glad I did. Not only did I strengthen it, I also lost some weight and am now being introduced to strength training by Dara after being “loosened up.”
First Alexis, then Dara as my personal trainers - all I can say is they are true miracle workers. Not only did they improve my physical health but my mental health as well. Walk, run or hobble to be trained by BHPT!

This is a great place to go. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. As a person in my early 70's, I wanted to get stronger but I needed caution to certain prior injuries. No problem. I was fortunate to work with Dara who made an individualized program which focused on my specifics issues and goals. I learned about Be Healthy through my sister who was raving about how awesome an experience it is for her. I am so happy that I signed up for personal training. My personal trainer is Aileen and I cannot say enough about how amazing she is. It is hard to put into words what she has done for me and my self esteem. Every session begins with a discussion on how I’m feeling so that we can adjust the workout if necessary. And while she makes sure that I am comfortable, she PUSHES ME HARD. Lol. She empowers me to try things I would never think I could do. I am so happy that I found out about Be Healthy and especially that Aileen is my trainer. I highly highly recommend it. Between you and me, the fitness trainers at BHPT are what makes this place, so amazing. Yes, they are certified & knowledgeable. They are positive & supportive, too. They are invested in the well-being of every client, referring to us as “family”. They care for me, which helps me to care for me, too. The small group classes are a perfect fit for me & my busy schedule. Having them virtually, in the convenience of my living room, makes it so much easier for me to stay consistent, which is key. I love that I can work on getting leaner while also strengthening my body, regardless of what level of fitness I’m in that day. I get the personal attention from our fitness trainer due to the small sized classes, without having to pay more. Since they get to know you personally, don’t expect to slack off without it being noticed. Which is what keeps me sweating and challenged in the best way possible. If you like being ignored, like being bored & like fumbling your way through exercises all by yourself, then I’d recommend you look elsewhere. Because thankfully, BHPT is the exact opposite of all of that.

My AMAZING fitness trainer was Dara. My favorite thing about her is that she is a REAL PERSON! I mean she was truly relatable. I did not ever feel judged with her. From the beginning, she was very honest about what I could expect, and very clear that I will get out as much as I put in. Working with Dara, I was able to strengthen and tone those areas of particular interest to me - the baby weight! Getting leaner has never been as hard or as FUN as this. In an effort to find some time for me, and to improve my balance, my health and my core strength, I decided to visit Be Healthy Personal Trainer. They are a personal trainer near me, and Be Healthy provides personal training for many age groups, including mine: over 55. Dara is so on point. She listened to my desired goals, assessed where I was prior to starting her program, and most importantly shared her expertise in the area of strength training, balance and overall fitness. Dara understands the levels of ability at varying ages, and she understands that past and present injuries or conditions greatly affect the training and exercises one can acomplish. Dara never watched the clock - unless I was the one who had to leave on time. The facility is clean, open, large and very inviting to all who enter. Dara uses the equipment during her training sessions, as well as exercise bands, balls, weights, balance boards, and more. When I was on any piece of equipment, she was right there, encouraging me, checking proper form, checking any discomfort levels, providing support and guidance, as well as comfortable conversation. She answered any and all questions at the session, and by email for any follow ups. It is the most professional gym experience I have ever had. I cannot say enough about Be Healthy Personal Trainer. Dara and her colleagues are wonderful. I am lucky to be a part of this amazing group.

Gabrielle Nierenberg was my daughter's weekly fitness trainer for the last few months, and she did a fantastic job working with her on strengthening her muscles, toning, and getting leaner. She made the sessions fun by using upbeat music and varying the routine so that it was new and interesting each time -- even incorporating gymnastic moves, which my daughter loved! In just a few months, Gabrielle had taught my daughter to do a cartwheel, which she was so proud of, and I could visibly see the increase in strength in her arm muscles.

Gabrielle was a true professional - she was always punctual for the sessions, and if she couldn't make it on time, she was responsible in communicating. During the sessions, Gabrielle's disposition was cheerful and upbeat , and she motivated my daughter to work her hardest by cheering her on.

After the sessions, Gabrielle sent my daughter a comprehensive list of the workout exercises, along with specifically tailored homework exercises for her to do independently during the week. She also gave my daughter a lot of positive feedback on her session performance. My daughter always looked forward to her sessions with Gabrielle, which really says a lot. I have noticed a big difference in my daughter's self-esteem, attitude towards exercising, confidence and agility.

I highly recommend Gabrielle to anyone seeking an enjoyable and productive fitness session!

She was amazing, she really takes the time to do an assessment and go over what your goals are and trains you at the correct pace. Dara and the Be Healthy Personal Trainer group is personable and highly effective training team who I would recommend to anyone. Dara really helped me find ways to target my problem area's in ways that are conducive for my preferred exercise style, and my body type. I am a runner so she also made sure she incorporated exercises that would make me a stronger runner, even though I didn't know to ask for that. She is funny, extremely responsive, and will make you want to work harder for yourself because she knows it's possible for you to succeed. One of the things I liked best about her was her willingness to push me even during times I didn't think I could be pushed. If I had all the money in the world I would pay Dara to kick my butt every morning, and I recommend you do the same.

Dara is a wonderful trainer. She is very conscientious. Dara not only listened but heard what I was saying. As a senior, I was looking for a trainer that would focus on issues related to my age and everyday tasks. She helped me to retrain my neck muscles after a car accident left me with a broken neck. She came to my house early before work, she was always on time, upbeat, and came with fun exercises and different equipment. She also was very attentive to my doing the exercises correctly. I can't even begin to explain the quality of coaching from Dara. She works at your own pace but is not afraid to push you within your own limits, which she is beyond knowledagable in.
