About the Club

Located in the heart of downtown Plainfield, Bodies In Movement, is a fitness studio specializing in functional fitness. The functional fitness method is a way of exercising that involves preparing the body to work efficiently for everyday activities.
Our goal is to provide each client with the tools and skills to live a better quality of life. We want you to be spectacular at any age.
If you want to have more stamina, move more efficiently, build strength that is applicable to every lifstyle and maintain a healthy weight, then come join the Movement!
We offer personal training, large group training and fitness programs for children.

Quincy from Bodies in Movement has been an excellent trainer. He pushes you so that you’re always getting stronger and more physically fit but never to the point of injury. I have had amazing results in just 3 months. I’ve lost 4 inches in my waist and 25 pounds. I plan to continue with him for the long haul. If you’re looking to lose weight or just become more active I definitely would recommend you check out Bodies in Movement.

Quincy is an excellent trainer; and this is a great workout studio. Even though there are group classes provided, I use the personal training services. My husband and I have Quincy as our personal trainer, 3 times a week; and we have achieved very good results. We’ve, now, been working with Quincy for about 6 months and we’ve been quite pleased with the training program he provides for us. Strength, cardio, balance, core routines are incorporated in the training. The routines are always diverse so that every session is a workout. Quincy takes great care in our well-being and gives a very personal touch as a trainer. Give him a try, I guarantee you’ll be glad that you did.

Love this place. I had been working out on my own for a while, but this place is something different, you go there and definitely work hard. Although it is a group of people, trainers pay close attention to you and make sure you are doing the exercise correctly to not get injured. The trainers are the best. Definitely recommend this place.

Quincy is a great trainer! I’ve been working with him for about 2 years and enjoy his motivating techniques and overall approach with helping me achieve my fitness goals. I have seen a noticeable improvement in my strength and conditioning since I started, and Quincy keeps the routines fresh so that I remain challenged and energized. Quincy is a fantastic trainer! I've belonged to a few different gyms, and this is the only time I've ever been working out consistently and making progress - for a year and a half now!
