British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults of all ages, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside of LA Fitness, our swim school is open year-round, so you can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

Our pool has become like a second home to us. Here we not only train but also recharge with energy. With the new management, the quality has noticeably improved: many new highly qualified coaches have joined, and the atmosphere has become even better. We’ve been coming here for over a year and my daughter has progressed from starfish to minnow, and now to Turtle 1. While in Turtle 1, she has had the joy of having Kai and Ricardo as her instructors. Both are fabulous! Extremely patient (my daughter gets quite distracted) and very supportive in providing correction in a way that is fun for a 4 year old. Highly recommend!

My daughter has been taking the Turtle class at British Swim School, and even though she was already a pretty good swimmer, this class has been an amazing next step for her. The instructors do a wonderful job of challenging her at a different level while still keeping the focus on safety, confidence, and technique. She’s been building stronger skills with strokes, breathing, and floating, and I can see her becoming much more polished each week. The small class size and a very supportive environment give her plenty of individual attention, and she always leaves the pool proud of what she’s accomplished. Overall, it’s been an amazing experience and a perfect class!

This is a great school to learn swimming- for your own safety, for recreation, and as a foundation for an athletic discipline. The instructors work great with the kids, and the office staff are also friendly and easy to work with. The owner takes great pride in this school and is always looking to improve it.
My kids love it… and I would recommend it to anyone looking for swim lessons!

My daughter joined British Swim School in April, and I'm impressed to see how much progress she's made in a such a short amount of time - she's learned a lot very quickly. She enjoys every session, and has so much fun while learning.
The aquatic managers and all her swim instructors are amazing - very knowledgeable on their teaching methods. They are patient, caring and always encouraging. The staff is friendly - scheduling is easy and flexible & responses are fast. The facility is clean and well-maintained. The description of each program level is clear, which makes it easy to understand what she will be learning.
If you're looking for a place for your child to learn how to swim, I highly recommend British Swim School. It's been such a great experience for us so far, and we can't wait to see how she continues to progress!

I enrolled my three year old grandson this summer for swimming classes at this location. Paul, his son Tommy, Veronica, Terrie and their whole staff are the best! They're very patient and loving with the kids and their instructors are excellent! The pool area is always kept clean. I'm so glad they're there! They're extremely flexible in rescheduling classes. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great swimming classes! Thanks guys!

I started British Swim school with my son (5) and daughter(2) who were both very nervous about being in the water without their puddle jumpers. There were quite a few tears but Taylor, Richard and Lauren were very professional and worked with my children to calm their fears and made them feel comfortable during each lesson. In addition Paul, Terrie and Veronica are all very accommodating with scheduling make-up appointments,billing questions, words of encouragement and the lollipops sure do go a long way!
