Our Burn program has been designed to focus on fat loss while building lean muscle through strength and weight exercises. This is what your cardio workout has been missing! Our program is designed to target the fat burning heart rate zones through H.I.I.T (high-intensity interval training) style resistance training. We use advanced heart rate monitors that help you understand your thresholds when exercising and still achieve a high-calorie burn.
Knowing your limits means something at Burn Paramus. It means understanding your body, never overtraining and knowing when it's time to bring on a new challenge.

Burn Paramus has been a huge part of my postpartum fitness journey. All the coaches, especially Demetrius and Klaudia, always push and motivate you to do your best. The workouts — let me tell you — are challenging but exactly what you need to get back in shape. Trust the process, they know exactly what they’re doing! They make working out fun, add in challenges to switch things up, and make every class focused and centered around their members. Everything they do is about helping you stay consistent, have fun, and reach your fitness goals. The community here is truly the best.

The classes are great and schedule fits my needs. Combinations are quick. The hour goes fast and the focus is on general strength building and mobility improvement. But what truly sets this gym apart is the energy and the welcoming feeling you receive not only from the owner/instructors but also all the people. At the 6 AM class you are greeted with a very friendly good morning from all and everyone is happy to see the person next to them. The support of the group is unmatched. I highly recommend giving it a try.

At my first class at Burn Paramus, the staff and the clients were super friendly, supportive and welcoming. The class started with a great structure of stretching followed by a quick demo of all the moves and the set up of various zones. TBH - I typically opt out of class like structure as I find them too fast paced. However this class was designed in a way that really allowed me to reach my threshold w/o feeling rushed and getting a good sweat session. While it’s totally OK to bail out of a tough move and take a break, I found myself leaning into the repetitive vibe of it all. Even when my muscles were quaking, I wanted to keep moving to the rhythm — and it actually became easier the more I got into it.

As a black man in America and supporter of black businesses and networking opportunities myself, I completely understand the importance of reviews. How your business represents itself within and outside of business hours is crucial to your brand.
If you want to have a conversation about the the things that were said to me by those who I assume to be members of your staff, as they were aggressively attempting to recruit me, as I said in my review I intend to come by.
I also said nothing negative about your business, the opportunity to change my rating is available when I walk through the door.
Also, please don’t use your status as a black owned business as some sort of guilt manipulation to dismiss my review. We are better than that.
Perhaps have a meeting with your trainers about how they are going represent you if you’re going to have events after hours. We see from this example that their representation does not punch a clock and will affect the business.
I stand by my review, until your business changes my mind. How you choose to do so, will also reflect your black owned business.

I recently had the opportunity to work out at Burn Paramus. The overall ambiance is motivating with plenty of natural light streaming in through the large windows. Burn Paramus is accessible for my workout gains. So, far I have gained 10 lbs and I am set to gain another 10 lbs. The atmosphere helps with motivational strides to push you past your limits. Especially backed by science-based strength programs developed by the four trainers: Demetrius, Klaudia, Ryan, and now Chris. Demetrius is worth taking for a free trial, which got me into becoming a member. By far, he is one of my favorite trainers due to his bubbly charm. Klaudia has a strong demeanor that allows me to push myself with her unique workouts and dance club playlist. Ryan has a friendly disposition, for instance, when he slyly increased the treadmill for my improvements. Chris has the potential to learn fast, as two of his classes were difficult for an experienced person like myself. I receive immediate feedback on how to correct my technique. The environment of the other members is positively infectious. I love what Burn Paramus has become so far, and I have never experienced a well-rounded community-based gym.

“There’s no place like Burn”.If you’ve been thinking about joining, I highly recommend giving it a try! They offer drop in sessions if you want to try a class. That’s how I ended up joining Burn at the end of January. I had lost a lot of weight and was self conscious on how weak I got over the past year. 8 months in, I feel tone and SO much stronger! I’ve always lived in a gym, sports, marital arts etc, but Burn is such a supportive community where everyone cheers for one another. All the trainers are amazing, Demetrius, Klaudia, Ryan, and Mike. Their workouts are unique and well thought out. You can seen their dedication in giving us the best of the best. So glad to be part of the Burn family. Checked out Burn Paramus while in jersey for the holiday to see what the hype was about…. And let me say that it’s a little hidden gem… the energy was high, the music was lit and the trainer was just the right amount of pushy to make me hate him while the workout was going on. But glad he pushed because I worked out muscles that have been dormant. I know because I still feel a slight soreness, a good one thought. I’ll def make it back while visiting jersey.

Great workouts in which you are forced to push yourself. Always something different. At 56 yrs old my endurance has really improved. It starts at the front desk when I walk in and Judy greets me with a big smiley face. Surrender yourself for 60 minutes to get the blood and oxygen going.

I LOVE THIS GYM!!!!! By far the best facility around! ALL the trainers are exceptional- they are so supportive and encouraging. They definitely keep a close eye and correct everyone’s form when needed. The workouts are sometimes really tough for me, but extremely rewarding in the end. I have worked out at many gyms and even hired personal trainers, but I’ve seen the most results with burn. The community is incredible here. I have always been shy working out with other people, but they really helped me build the confidence I needed. The gym is always so clean and organized. I have changed physically/mentally and I owe that all to the burn trainers and members.

I’ve been a member of Burn Paramus for one year and joining this gym was the best decision! The facility is kept VERY clean all the time. The trainers are all welcoming , energetic , and knowledgeable. To sum up how much I love Burn in a review is hard. I have been to other HIIT trainings prior to finding Burn, and it is by far my favorite!! There isn’t one instructor that I don’t love. Every instructor is equally invested in making sure that I push myself during class - which is very important to me. Demetrius is constantly keeping me motivated and Nova’s playlist is unmatched! :)

Without hesitation I vouch my health to Burn Paramus...approximately 6 months ago I tore my right meniscus..I had undergone many forms therapy and none seems to work until I doscover Burn Paramus.. with thwor devoted staff and skilled techniques..I was able to regain my strength and confidence. I’ve been to just about every gym in north jersey. I’ve never looked forward to working out so much before. I enjoy EVERY class! It’s a great group session with the FEEL of a personal 1-2-1 training and that’s across all trainers. I’m also a germaphobe and it is EXTREMELY clean! I always feel safe and know they are taking care of the facility because they truly care about all the members. And most importantly, it feels like a family, not just another “cold” establishment. I was always intimated by weight training. Didn’t know where to start, what to do, etc. The trainers take you through the moves giving you the most efficient workout. Burn Paramus is not your ordinary gym, it’s a second home. Everyone from staff to clients are like one big family! The facility is super clean and takes all precautionary measures (with this new world we are currently living in) which makes me feel safe.
The trainers educate you on every exercise so that you understand what muscle is being focused on and why. They encourage you throughout the workouts to keep pushing. Every session they are very attentive to your form and are always happy to help you if you’re having trouble. The dedication these trainers have for their clients is like no other.

No need to look anywhere else, this is the full body workout that everyone needs within a tight knit community where everyone feels welcomed, regardless of their fitness level. At Burn Paramus you get a workout led by top notch personal trainers (all of which are amazing, tough and know how to push you so you get to the next level QUICK)! It’s not easy but quick switches ensure you’ll never get bored and you’ll never get the same workout twice. My favorite part is that unlike many other group training workouts, Burn consistently involves the use of weights (right for any level of training) to ensure you’ll hit new strength milestones every single month while getting the toning and definition that you won’t get with a mere cardio workout! I also have injuries that prohibit me from doing certain types of workouts and the coaches here always provide an alternative AND the personal attention I need at times so that I CAN get my workout on without aggravating my injuries. All the trainers bring out the best in you by challenging you yet making it fun. The class sizes are just the right amount to bring the energy and yet let the trainers focus on everyone’s form and effort. The music is 🔥 and will get anyone through the toughest of workouts. The facility is clean and everyone is welcoming. You never feel like someone is watching (which can feel uncomfortable)... except the trainers...they are always watching!

After trying out many gyms, Burn Paramus is the best of the best! The staff, especially Demetrius, truly cares about the clients and it doesn’t go unnoticed. I was never much of a fitness lover but after working out with Demetrius, I have started to fall in love with fitness. Even though classes are in group sessions, you will still receive personal attention from any of the trainers. They make sure you’re doing exercises correctly or they encourage you to work harder. The gym is ALWAYS clean and equipment is great. You will not be disappointed joining Burn Paramus!

Love this place! Its not just a gym or a boot camp its a family. From the coaches to the consumers we have built a family supporting and pushing each other during and after class to push our limits to be our best selves physically.
