Cape may yoga is the studio to go to for an epic retreat experience, fun workshop, or to just take a class to enhance your practice on the beach or in the studio. I am lucky to have had the opportunity to participate in their azores retreat and from start to finish Lia & Jordan clearly go above and beyond to make their retreats special for their students. You can see that they care and are very appreciative of everyone’s time and interests. I feel like it was well worth it and I cannot wait to join them again on another retreat. Cannot say enough good things about cape may yoga. If you’re considering a class or a retreat, or workshop, just sign up! You will not regret it.

I went to an all levels vinyasa class with Jordan yesterday morning. She was so lovely and to me, truly exuded everything that a yoga teacher should encompass. I felt that her class was led with compassion and empathy and it was the most enjoyable and lovely yoga class I have ever taken. I will definitely be back.

Jordan led a beautiful hip routine and offered modifications with clear instructions and the music aligned with the movement of the body and breath.
Towards the end of class, Jordan invited the class to focus on uplifting instrumental music and to take the inspiration and joy of the music as an anthem throughout the rest of the day. To me, it was a fun and unique way to end a class, as a piece of the class lasted throughout the day.
Jordan also offered nuanced instruction, for example moving with the breath slowly while bridging, which felt gentler on the spine. Also, when transitioning into pigeon, leading down with the hips and stomach first, then ribs, chest and head in succession. These simple refinements added so much to the practice.
So grateful for the dedicated focus on the hips 🙏

I contacted Cape May Yoga to do a private class for a bachelorette party I was hosting. Lia made the coordination super easy and it was so special to hold a private class for our bride to be and her friends! Jordan was an amazing instructor! We were able to have the class in our backyard, and it made it so private and unique. Absolutely recommend!!

Saturday morning yoga on the beach. What is not to like. The instructor had a very calming way. My daughter and I enjoyed our time out in the fresh air.

Solidly good vinyasa/flow yoga. Lori’s sculpt class is challenging and well balanced. Renay’s Tuesday evening strong flow is not to be missed. It’s a level 2 class but slow and deep so a great class to safely explore a bit more from yourself. Lia always delivers a creative and technically approached flow to get your day going. So grateful this is available!!

10/10 recommend!! My bridesmaids and I stayed in Cape May for the weekend and scheduled yoga on the beach with Lia and it was our favorite part of our trip - Even my friends who have never done yoga before! Thank you Lia! We’ll definitely be back.

What an amazing experience! I set up a private beach yoga session for about 7 girls with Lia and it was everything we could have hoped for and more! We were a mixed level group with most of us being beginners and Lia did an amazing job of leading us through a great class that left us all feeling great! I can’t say enough good things about Lia, thank you for an amazing class!!

Great experience at Cape May Yoga! Visiting for the week and decided to drop in. The studio is an intimate space with limited class size, which allows the instructor to give everyone attention and instruction. The studio is clean, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
The vinyasa flow class, led by Lia, was wonderful! She was really great at giving both modifications and more advanced options, which worked so well for me (more advanced) and my boyfriend (beginner). Lea was supportive, providing blocks, straps, and blankets when necessary, and full of good energy!
They also offer yoga on the beach in the summer, which is beautiful ⛱
100% recommend Cape May Yoga 🧘♂️

The caliber of teaching was there and the flow was dynamic and challenging. The instuctors do they best they can with the space given and it is admirable and cozy. I personally enjoy seeing my instructor in case I'm off and not getting the full benefit. I always go into my sessions with a full heart and empty mind. I highly recommend their beach yoga if you enjoy being outside or require a bit more space as your preference.

Being a yogi downer is no fun but my honest take is class wasn’t amazing. Everyone was super nice but the the caliber of teaching just wasn’t there. I took the strong flow and I’m used to a more dynamic intelligent sequencing which challenges me. They have you facing each other which was awkward as opposed to everyone facing the windows or wall I don’t need to see the teacher in order to move. I’m a yoga teacher as well and while we need to be supportive of each other if the only feedback you receive is you were amazing how will you grow. The sequence didn’t feel good in my body and felt like a lot of up and down w no substance.

Wow...great classes at Cape May Yoga. My stay in Cape May during Thanksgiving week became much more wonderful when I found this studio. All level classes for beginners & advanced levels. Kelsey is a fabulous instructor. Very personable. She adds aromatherapy to the sessions & gives a neck rub with essential oils at the end if the class to those who would like. I'm coming back to Cape May in 7 months and am soooo looking forward to joining Cape May Yoga classes during my stay!!!
