I can’t say enough good things about CrossFit Secaucus. I am a long distance runner but not very experienced in weightlifting or strength training. After failing to remain consistent with at-home workouts, I gave CrossFit Secaucus a try and I am hooked. Rob and the other coaches are so attentive, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I constantly feel challenged in classes while still feeling comfortable and confident. Rob does a fantastic job of explaining each exercise, observing and adjusting based on various skill levels, and being patient and encouraging. Over the last several months, I’ve seen an improvement in my metabolism, body composition, and overall fitness level. I still don’t *love* working out, but I’ve found a place I can enjoy it and feel my best. I highly recommend giving CrossFit Secaucus a shot!

I just want to say that I'm EXTREMELY grateful and happy that I made the choice to give Secaucus CrossFit a shot!!! I'm afraid of injuring myself, therefore, I don't like lifting weights. When I first started coming here, they spent time going through each exercise and movement. Ensuring that I completed it correctly. For people like me who have trouble with particular movements, scaled versions are available if necessary so that you can still target those regions with good body mechanics. Secaucus CrossFit is an AWESOME community. The trainers are fantastic!

Coach Rob is the best! I have had way more success with him than private training in improving form and strength. I’ve tried several CrossFit gyms in the North Jersey area and found CrossFit Secaucus to be the best, by far. The group training is elite but I personally prefer one on one training, it’s totally worth it! Coach Rob is incredibly passionate about his craft, as are all of the coaches. The space is large and as a clean freak, I can say that it’s kept immaculate. Whether you’re an experienced lifter/cross-fitter or a beginner wanting to learn proper form, I can confidently recommend CrossFit Secaucus.

Fantastic! I started coming here after hitting a plateau with my regular gym routine. I do two personal training sessions a week with Rob. I’ve been going to Secaucus CrossFit since September 2022 and I don’t remember if I have ever been this consistent with working out. I work 12 hours/day so by the time I get home I’m exhausted but surprisingly I’m still pumped to go to the class. Rob and Manuel are very knowledgeable and they both do an amazing job making the classes very fun and enjoyable. They demonstrate every movement before the start of the workout and then they spend enough time with each of us to make sure everyone is getting the movement right. We have people of all different levels in our class and at the end of the session everyone is happy because the coaches are very good at knowing each person’s capabilities and adjusting the workout accordingly. If you’re looking for a good workout, this is definitely the place.

I love this gym!! Great for both beginners and seasoned crossfitters. Coach Rob is very passionate about creating workouts that are easily modified or achievable for newcomers, but still difficult for those who’ve been doing CrossFit for a while. I’m so impressed at the way coach Rob and coach Manuel run this gym. They are both very approachable and encouraging. I, nor my husband, are fitness people. However, with their individual attention and motivation we have come a long way in terms of physique and strength. Why I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone, is because of this instance. I had some elbow pain, one Saturday, but did not want to skip a session. The coaches tailored my workout in such a way, to avoid aggravating my injury. The warm up was basically physical therapy to promote healing of my injury. When asked about his experience with physical therapy, coach Rob said, “he simply loves to learn about the body.”
You can trust that by investing in this gym, the coaches will help you become a better version of yourself.

I have been member of Crossfit Secaucus since last two years. I started as a newbie and now i am able to perform all the exercises with proper form and techniques. Rob, Manuel, & Debbie are very knowledgeable and friendly coaches. They helped me reach my goal at every step of the workout and nutrition plan. They will also individually watch and guide you to improve your formation. Gym is always clean with good music. Every day there will be new workouts and challenges which is always planned properly to get stronger every workout. Coaches also modify movement based on you current condition, heath, and fitness.
Thank you Rob and Manuel to help me get from 15lbs deadlifts to 320lbs deadlifts 😇 and similar progress with many other exercise 🙏. Special thanks to Debiee to help me with all the nutrition advice and diet plan and offcourse all the tips/advice during workouts which has help me to get lean and stronger 💪. All in all this is the best place to get strong and achieve all the fitness goals.

Before I was introduced to CrossFit earlier this year my perception of it was the same as most people's, that it was a bunch of crazy gymnastics and insane weight lifting. I would quickly learn that is not the case at all. The workouts can be intense but coaches Manuel and Rob make everything very reasonable. They also provide a safe, clean, and friendly environment with all the latest equipment and are very attentive. I've been going to CrossFit Secaucus for about 5 months now and can't imagine ever going back to a traditional gym.

I've been doing Crossfit since 2012 and have regularly visited over 6 different boxes, (gyms). Crossfit Secaucus is absolutely one of the best boxes I've ever attended. Here are a few reasons why...
1. Everyone is super friendly. Coaches and attendees. Visiting a new gym could be daunting. However. the folks at Crossfit Secaucus are warm and welcoming.
2. Coaches are super knowledgeable and not overbearing...Ya know, sometimes you just want to get your workout in and not feel like you're competing on a grand stage. On the other hand, if you want to operate at peak performance the coaches can get you there!
3. Weights are easily accessible, in fact, you get your own cart of weights. I've been to a ton of places where you have to watch someone from across the room to grab the plate (weights) they just used. Also, this place is very clean!
4. They have an awesome app that tells you the workout and tracks the weights you use! It even tells you the actual plates to put on (for those days where math is simply too much).
5. Classes are small so you don't feel like you're stepping onto the Olympic stage when you get to the location. And, as a result, classes are always available.
6. The location is great! There's parking and its not on a super busy street. Always a plus!
7. The programming (workouts) is really fun! Don't get me wrong, they are tough, but fun and tough is better than only tough.
8. Last but not least, its cost effective! I've been to other gyms that aren't half as good as this one but they're nearly twice the cost!

I joined CrossFit in Feb 2022 as a newbie to exercising and I am hooked!
The coaches are very knowledgeable, polite and friendly. They will help you out individually and guide you as many times as needed. Everyday is a different workout and experience which makes it super fun! They have a vast variety of exercise equipment and the facilities are always kept clean. I joined this box after about a year and a half of inactivity/home workouts (thank you Covid). Previously, I had been a member of a handful of boxes through-out the NJ/NYC area.
This is by far the cleanest and most well run box that I've been a member of. The workouts are always challenging and the trainers do a great job of having scaling options for different abilities. They make you feel extremely welcome and work with you on improving as a Crossfit athlete.
In truth, though I have only been a member of the box for maybe five months, I've gotten in the best shape I have been in some years.

Covid-19 initially had a lot of fitness enthusiasts struggling to adjust to changes, especially with closed facilities and limited equipment at home. Crossfit Secaucus has truly made it possible for members to maintain somewhat of a regular routine. From online tutorials to outdoor sessions, Crossfit Secaucus has truly impressed me with their seamless continuation of coaching and workout programs. The gym reopened yesterday and I was stunned by the very meticulous setup. Individual workout stations made it possible for everyone to maintain a safe distance from each other. Each workout station even included its own sanitizing materials. I am impressed by the diligence and immense care during these unpredictable times.

I joined CrossFit Secaucus two months ago and have only had positive experiences so far. Coaches Rob and Manuel helped me get set up with the on boarding and I have been a regular since. The morning classes I usually go to are not at all crowded and thus helps me get enough time and individual attention from the coaches to correct my form if necessary. The pricing is very reasonable, floor space is adequate and the equipment always clean and available, there are also multiple sessions available in a day to accommodate work schedules.I also recently introduced my wife who suffers from a bad back pain to join the classes. She likes it so far and we look forward to working out together. I will update this review after I become regular for couple more months but for now, I recommend this for anyone looking forward to get a nice workout every other day. Hello World!!! I have been going to this gym for two months straight and I love it!!! At first I didn't think I would go between 5-6 days a week but I got hooked. What is really important is the workouts are balanced, not competitive, and the coaches are great. They will push you to do better by reinforcing the basic movements and properly guide you to put on more weight on your bar. After two goods months I am finally back to fitting in pants I haven't worn for two years.

Rob and Manuel are the best trainers around, they always have eyes on your form, making sure you break out of your mould, push yourself and give your best!
They are also very approachable and knowledgeable, receptive to feedback, even making a choice of workout available.
I have made tremendous progress with them.
Workouts are always both challenging and fun, varied every day to make sure you get a full spectrum of movement.

Joining Secaucus CrossFit was a borderline life changing decision for me. I use to dread going to the gym and doing the same old weekly routine. Every workout is different and engaging here. For me, the biggest difference was in my form. Working out alone all these years, nobody really told me I was doing deadlifts wrong the whole time. Even if you only go a couple of times a week, I think it’s well worth it. The coaches are super friendly and go out of their way to help you reach your goals. Highly recommend it!

I highly recommend CrossFit Secaucus and love going there!
I first joined CrossFit because I wanted to get toner but had little to no motivation. At my gym I was just going through the motions and wasn’t pushing myself. At CrossFit Secaucus, the coaches give you no option but to push yourself! Manuel, Debbie, Rob, David, and Chris are there showing you not only the right way to do movements like deadlifts and cleans, but they encourage you. They all make you and the other members feel like you’re a team. Everyday they have a new workout and you can choose between their CrossFit, boot camp, or barbell classes. Each class, though different, starts with an explanation of the workouts, dying for 30-45 minutes, and then a sense of accomplishment.

What makes this place truly special is the culture -- although there are members who are insanely athletic and fit (who push each other), EVERYONE feels like a part of the community and all of the members are super inspiring and chill. I joined Cross Fit Secaucus four months ago and I am new to the world of Cross Fit. Couple of weeks into training, this place got me addicted. The trainers are so knowledgeable, friendly and VERY creative with the workouts. I have never seen the same series of workout being repeated in the past months I have been here. Rob and Manuel (owners/coaches) are great and the other coaches really care about your fitness and health. It’s almost like having a personal trainer 5 or 6x a week at a much lower cost. I’ve been at CrossFit Secaucus for 6 months and I’ve seen a big difference in my strength and fitness (you have to put in work obviously - nothing comes for free ;)). A mixture of strength, technique, fun Olympic lifts, good times with other members, and great coaches is what you’ll find here.

I joined CrossFit Secaucus as a 6 week challenge candidate and haven’t looked back since. Before joining I had lost about 50 pounds on my own but I had hit a plateau and wasn’t able to do anything in a progressive way... but from the time I started working out here.. I have found new boundaries!! Coaching is amazing! I have worked out with everyone of them and they are incredibly helpful! I usually go to the morning class... during the workout coaches are on top of you and even the slightest form error and they are there to correct you.. they push you hard and by the time the you are done with the workout.. you are on the floor trying to catch your breath And for me that’s a good workout and a good way to start your day!!

At 50 years old, I have spent little time in a gym working out. I was never athletic our played sports at any point in my life. LatelyL I have taken to hiking - during which I fell and damaged my left shoulder. Add on back issues that have developed over the intervening years and you have the beginnings of a continued sedentary lifestyle. I need a change.
II cam upon CrossFit Secaucus due to an advertisement about a 6 week challenge for people 50 and over. The program was perfect. The trainers listened when you told them about the mobility restrictions. Not only do they take you through each of the movements slowly, explaining everything and correcting your form without being condescending, but they also show you a number of progressions that will help you build the muscle needed to move up to the harder movements.
At the conclusion of the 6 week program, I enrolled in the regular classes, with the same results as I experienced before. The environment promoted by the trainers is one if inclusion and acceptance. Belittling or derogatory comments are not accepted. Everyone encourages everyone else - regardless of body size or ability.
I am doing things now that I never thought would be possible. The added strength and stamina is incredible. The physical change in my body is nothing short of amazing to me. The routines are challenging, but able to be accomplished by anyone - after all ANYTHING can be scaled to meet your ability level.

Prior to starting the 6 week challenge, I was a bit intimidated by the idea on lifting weights and Crossfit. That all changed when I joined the 6WC and I wish I would have joined sooner. In just about 2 months, I have seen improvements in my body and in my barbell form . My waist is smaller than when I started, my arms, legs and oblique's are more tone and I feel stronger. Crossfit has allowed me to prove to myself that I am stronger than what I thought and makes me push myself even harder. In addition to the physical changes and improvements in strength/form, I wouldn't have improved and have had the pleasant experience without the help of the trainers and the support of the friends I have made throughout 6WC and the members in the gym. I look forward to my CF Journey and cant wait to see further improvements. Excellent training I ever had.....All the trainers here are powerhouse of knowledge..... I am learning a lot...approach here is to first get the mechanics right...understand the science behind what you are doing and then put it to lot of practice with the correct form.....I think with this approach one develops a lot of interest and also helps to maximize the benefits....Rob is an excellent and very knowledgeable trainer...some of the concepts which was difficult for me, I was able to understand by his approach...David and Manuel are excellent trainers and constantly provide feedback on the right mechanics to improve the form...

Its been 3 months for me working out in this crossfit gym & I am nothing but impressed by the culture of CrossFit Secaucus ! The coaches are excellent in motivating & making sure ALL members got in a great workout, no matter what the fitness or experience level was. The sesh starts with excellent group mobility and warm-ups. The workout combines strength & conditioning. It’s a perfect balance of weight training, HIIT, and much more. The coaches are great with the instruction on technique for some of the more complicated CrossFit lifts I have seen. Even the athletes in the gym motivate each other & are positive spirited. They have something or the other competitions on the weekends that keep you motivated & interested in the workouts. I've been going for about 4 months.Bored of going to the gym and doing the same routines, alone, uninspired and most likely with bad from. I started shopping around to different Crossfits because I knew it would be something I would like just needed the right place.
I've been to 2 other Crossfit gyms in Jersey City (trial classes) and this is the one I choose. I love this place! Wish I would have found this place sooner.
Pros:
-You won't be bored the workouts are mixed
-It's in a great area with ample parking. If you live in JC or Hobo, you know what a nightmare this can be.
-Gym is clean and organized
-Coach Rob is very experienced and has a knack of breaking things down simply. He is serious about you getting stronger and fitter.
-Coach Manuel is also very knowledgeable and helpful (fixing your form and giving great advice).
- All the members are all helpful and encouraging (no snobbery here).
Con:
-The music is well rounded but could use more gangster rap, classic rock and alternative rock.
Notes:
Prior to Crossfit I had very little experience working out and doing different lifts, movements etc. Over the last 4 month I've learned a lot and I keep learning as I go. I truly believe this program is best for anyone in whatever fitness level they are in. Anything can be scaled or modify non the fly.
One of the reasons I join was also to get myself to wake up early. This is one of my goals. Since joining, I get up a 4:55 am on the regs. Love the 5 am crew

If you think CrossFit is scary, but really want to try it, this is the place for you. The Fundamentals sessions were a great introduction to the different exercises and Rob does a great job explaining what to do and why to do it! I have several past injuries that sometimes limit my ability to do the different activities. They are quick to help me find a way to modify the planned exercise or provide me an alternative to ensure I can still get a good workout. I've never been to a gym where the coach greets you by name as soon as you walk in the door and seems genuinely happy to see you in class each and every time you show up. These guys are the best trainers I've ever worked with and I'm thrilled to be part of the CrossFit Secaucus family! You should join us!

Iam so glad I attended the free trial class! After having my baby 9months ago I knew its gonna be a challenge to get my shape back but with coach Eddie and Rob Im definitely getting there! They both take the time to show me the movement over and OVER again since I have 0 knowledge in any crossfit things. They also repeat the instructions to make sure I understood correctly since English is not my primary language.
So if you are not sure at least give it a try and you will love it.

I started working out with Eddie about 5 weeks ago, this has probably been one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. I was hesitant at first to get into training that seems so intense. However, I have truly become a Crossfit addict. I have never been a person who loves to workout. Other workouts tend to get boring and repetitive. That is not the case here. I am always looking forward to see what the next session will bring. The workouts that are put together serve to show your skill level. Eddie very much knows exactly what he is talking about when it comes to explaining an exercise, or showing an example of a new move. As the intensity of the workout increases so does my amazement at the progress I have made. Since I began working out with CrossFit Secaucus I have lost about 15lbs. I have never felt better or stronger.
I have been to many other gyms and worked with quite a few other trainers at varying price points. I have never worked with people who care as much about their clients or work as hard to create a plan that suits the individuals need as Eddie and Rob do. I looked into a few other trainers in the area before I decided to go with CrossFit Secaucus, I am so glad I did.
CrossFit Secaucus has continually shown me the results that I have looked for in other places with other trainers. I could not recommend CrossFit Secaucus highly enough. The quality of the classes, private sessions and trainers are just unparalleled. I can't wait for the new space to open!

My first review was almost 3 years ago, Coaches Eddie and Rob have just gotten even better at what they do. Crossfit Secaucus is always getting better, and always evolving. From personal training to classes, this is a community you want to belong to, it is so much more than a place to work out. Eddie and Rob are truly amazing coaches, they go above and beyond for the community they have built. I cannot sing the praises of these two talented coaches enough. No matter what you are looking for, to be stronger, lose weight, tone up, or bulk up, this is the only place to be.

I recently started at Crossfit Secaucus and my only regret is not having started sooner! I was super hesitant to take the leap, but I am so happy I finally did, thanks to a friend who kept talking about what a great place it was. Crossfit is like nothing I've ever done before, so I was very nervous. Coach Rob and Coach Eddie put my mind at at ease from the very first minute. They are very patient, knowledgeable coaches who want to see each and every member succeed. They both go out of their way to make sure they explain and demonstrate exercises until we understand fully. Love love loveeeee Crossfit Secaucus!!! When I first started researching crossfit gyms in my area, I went to a few that were really intimidating. The people were a little cold, and I just felt embarrassed like I couldn't keep up to par. Thats when I came across crossfit secaucus, which was a total game changer!!! Coach Rob and Coach Eddie have the patience of saints and scale workouts to meet everyone's needs. There are athletes from every level, so that no matter where you fall on the scale, the workouts will be challenging, yet doable. My two children and I were in Secaucus for a few days visiting NYC and I brought them by for the CrossFit Kods class on Thursday afternoon with coach Rob and Coach Eddie. Joined here with expectations and the place has met all of them. Coaches Eddie and Rob are extremely talented and dedicated, they make sure you are getting the moves right and they are patient, it makes a big difference. Its been just 4 months now and I can see results, have lost almost 6 pounds, have better muscle definition and more stamina. The crowd is fun, encouraging, friendly and a great mix of talent. I had no structure in my workout and this is the place where I found it. I workout 3 times a week and I am sore in different parts or my body throughout the week - I believe this means that they have planned their WODs very well ensuring that we get the full body workout. The coaches - they are sadistic in a good way :) - instructions are very clear! I attend group classes but I feel like I have my own personal coach. The Community - man, I wish I joined long time ago!

Before this class I had never had any experience with CrossFit. I always heard about it but didn't really think it was a program for me; I was pretty set in my ways of working out. When I saw the ad on Facebook for a six-week challenge they offered I thought I would give it a shot, I didn't think I had anything to lose. Now I realize that I would have lost and missed out on SO much if I hadn't made that first appointment. I was super skeptical of CrossFit, but the entire community I've come to know through this program is incredible. The coaches are amazing; they're so helpful and insightful and it's truly amazing how much they know about the mechanics of their training and how to personalize every one of their members' workouts. There's never a question you can't ask. And the people are just great. I'm only in my seventh week now, but everyone there is like a small extension of your own family. There's no other place I would have rather begun this experience that I hope I carry with me for years to come, and the results are more real than anything I could have asked for.
Fun fact, I don't ever leave reviews for anything. This place is the real deal. If there's ever a time for you to try something new that's great, with great people and just all around great for ya, it's here and now with this amazing crew.

When me and my wife joined CrossFit Secaucus, we were not sure if we will be able to cope up with it. But Rob and Eddie were very helpful and trained us at a pace that we could handle. While browsing on Facebook I came across an ad for the 6 week challenge at CrossFit Secaucus and on a total whim I signed up. I was extremely nervous about it AFTER I signed up and thought, what did I get myself into?! I told myself I would go to the first 2 weeks of fundamentals and if I thought it was too much I would jump ship! It was very intimidating at first, but as soon as Rob started the fundamentals class, I felt comfortable right away! He really went above and beyond to teach everyone the right movements and techniques so there is no injury. I was also pleasantly surprised with how welcoming the coaches and the other crossfitters were!
After fundamentals was over, that nervous feeling came back because now I was going into the regular classes with everyone that has been doing this forever. So again, I told myself I would go to one class and if it was too much I would jump ship! I am so, SO happy I stuck with it! Coach Rob and Couch Eddie are absolutely awesome! The attention each individual gets everyday is unbelievable. You can tell they both absolutely love what they do and just want to see the best for their members! With their encouragement, I continue to amaze myself with things I never thought I could do! So if you're having reservations about trying CrossFit, I would highly recommend coming to see Coaches Rob and Eddie, you won't be disappointed!!

CrossFit Secaucus is a Game Changer!!! Consistency and care demonstrate the heart of an organization to me, and CrossFit Secaucus has demonstrated both at a top-notch level.
It's been a little over a month since I started CrossFit and I must admit that CrossFit Secaucus, has changed my perspective on the way I view working out. What impressed me most, and continues to impress me, is the personal care and attention the trainers give -- the time and care they took during the Fundamental Classes; the motivation they provided and continue to provide; they even know everyone's name (very impressive). The sessions consist of no more than 15 members, and the trainers are aware and attentive to EVERYONE in the group (very impressive) – it doesn’t matter who you are or the level you are at.
If you are considering starting CrossFit, and have reservations, give CrossFit Secaucus a try, you will quickly realize that it is money well spent -- EVERYONE is awesome, friendly and motivating, and that alone is PRICELESS.
So, in essence, CrossFit Secaucus, Coach Eddie, Coach Rob and the rest of the team, have changed the game for me...thank you!

So I have had 2 full weeks in and both Rob and Eddie are pushing me to get into first good shape (and even though a buddy calls round a shape its not for me anymore). Then I do feel they will help me get into better shape. They ave worked with me to push me to do more but within my limits. Since I started CrossFit in Secaucus, I have never felt so good in any other gym before. The workout is fun and it works! You see results quickly and you feel amazing. Using machines in any other gym will never give you the same results as CrossFit. The best part of the workout is having the best trainers on board. A great big shout out to Eddie Maresca and Rob Zych! They are two of the finest trainers I know! They are patient with you and always assisting others to make sure they are doing the workout correctly since "safety first" is their motto. They make you feel great! I cannot say enough about Crossfit Secacus and the coaches! It’s truly the best and most fun workout experience I’ve had. Coaches Eddie, Rob and Manuel really do an excellent job making sure we all get an amazing workout no matter what our experience or fitness levels are. They are extremely knowledgeable, dedicated and helpful. Crossfit has changed me; not only am I in the best shape I’ve ever been in, stronger and more confident, but I am mentally tougher too! There’s nothing I can’t do (that’s how I feel anyway)!
Now about personal training. This was something I really wanted to do, but kept putting it off. Since I enjoyed crossfit so much and really wanted to take things to another level and get better and stronger, I thought I’d try a package (you save a lot with a package). I’m so glad I did! In just a few months, personal training has made an incredible change. Coach Eddie is very knowledgeable, fun, and pays close attention to every move, making sure to teach the correct technique. He is passionate about what he does and has a lot of patience. He has helped me to achieve quite a few goals in just a few months.
I can't say thanks enough for all that Crossfit Secaucus and personal training with Coach E has done for me. If you live in the area and are thinking of trying crossfit, you have to drop-in and check out Crossfit Secaucus. You won't be disappointed. I can honestly say that going to this gym is one of the highlights of my day. The friends I have made and the feeling I get after each workout at the gym is second to none.

I started training 3 times a week, as part of a group session, really enjoyed the variety & challenge & then took on a personal one-on-one session with Eddie. I started CrossFit Secaucus with a package of personal training classes with Eddie Maresca, wanting a change from my boring gym workout and to challenge myself. Our training exceeded my expectations and my limits, I have strength that I never thought I would have. This is all from his training ability to target my weakness and build up my endurance. This was my first attempt to CrossFit which I thought was for athletes and body builders well he makes all work-outs possible pushing your bounds and knowing your physical capacity. These classes have given me results and muscle definition that I would never get on my own. He patiently breaks down steps till you get them so you can get the best performance from each work-out. Signing up for Crossfit Secaucus was the best thing I did this fall! Rob and Eddy (the instructors) are amazing people. There is a wide variety of people from all ages and all fitness levels, and yet the classes are useful and challenging to everyone. I wanted to start going to gym by myself but being in a class environment is much more motivating and this class is certainly challenging and motivating.
I started my one-on-one classes with Rob and he taught me the essentials (basic movements) to be able to do well in class. Rob is very friendly, patient and really accommodating. He pays a lot of attention to individuals; and he knows his job very well. He has helped me a lot so far.
Then I started general classes with both Rob and Eddy. Eddy has also been incredibly helpful and he really cares about people in the class. He also gives a lot of to-the-point hints/tips. The combination of Rob and Eddy works extremely well and they make the environment friendly and welcoming and enjoyable. I think if you want to get fit in the general sense, maintain your fitness, or develop specific skills (e.g. Olympic weightlifting) this is the place for you!

I was skeptical about cross-fit as I heard that the likelihood of injury was high. This turned out to be a non-issue. Rob and Eddie are great trainers giving great individual attention to ensure that your form is correct and you're doing the exercises right. I have been to so many Gyms and I have done several home workouts such as P90X, Insanity and P90X3 but Crossfit is the game changer especially when working with team and you compete with each other. I started doing crossfit because I would never push myself hard enough to truly make the changes I needed to in order to get in shape. Going to the gym was not cutting it for me anymore and I was getting bored. There is no possible way that doing the usual leisurely circuit around the same 12 or 15 machines in a gym is ever going to get the intensity of a crossfit workout. The trainers Eddie and Rob are very knowledgeable, patient and everyone is very friendly. I absolutely love crossfit and I'm happy to say that for the first time in years I feel like I'm back in control and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. With the help of my trainers and the support of my classmates every day I get closer. I've found a new addiction, something that both takes everything from me -- physically, emotionally and mentally -- and then gives me back even more than I had before. I joined CrossFit Secaucus looking for a change in routine. It was definitely what I needed because it was something new. The movements I thought I could never do were now possible. Rob and Eddie, first give you a series of fundamental classes to introduce all the proper and safe positioning of the exercise movements. In January in my best friend's urging I reluctantly went to do a trial class at CrossFIt Secaucus. Well, six months later and 30lbs lighter I owe my friend and the trainers Rob and Eddie a huge THANK YOU!!!! I've never been in better shape. Eddie, Rob and Manuel have created a unique Gym experience that combines an atmosphere that is friendly, motivating and personal where literally everyone is encouraging each other through the W.O.D. This gym does not have a lot of machine and mirrors, rather small classes with super knowledgeable trainers giving you 1:1 attention. I was making great progress, but once I started personal training sessions with Eddie I saw real strength gains an a satisfying body composition change that I never expected. I am so happy with Eddie that I am happy to continue with him for more sessions to come. Eddie's sessions aren't just a cookie cutter repetitive plan. He assess your needs and where you are to create a specific plan to you and your goals. Eddie also broke down every movement (step by step) so that I was able to learn the right way and feel comfortable and confident when performing them. I'm now very confident during the group sessions and I am happy to make the progression I did so far. And talk about being able to motivate....Eddie has a crazy 6th sense of what you're capable of doing. If you think you can't do something, well, Eddie will certainly be able to assess that for you. Results WILL Happen!
Honestly, there's NO place like CrossFIt Secaucus. You've got to try this Gem of a gym if you live in the area.

I joined Secaucus CrossFit a little over 6 months ago - these guys are the real deal. The gym has a real family atmosphere to it – everyone knows who everyone is, and there is an abundance of team spirit in every session. The trainers, Eddie and Rob, always have everyone’s best interests at heart by always ensuring that you’re doing the individual exercises correctly and safely, and positively push you to do your best. I’ve trained in the traditional gym for a number of years, and although I wasn’t particularly unhappy with it or the results, I did feel like I was getting stuck in a rut doing the same exercises on a routinely basis. Having been involved in CrossFit for a few months now I am completely sold on the sport and CrossFit Secaucus is a superb place to be able to take part in it.

I started at Crossfit Secaucus in February, words cannot be expressed enough to the wonderful coaches (Eddie & Rob) for everything I’ve learned about Crossfit. I’ve never encountered people who make sure you are doing the workouts properly & care about your safety first. First time doing crossfit and so proud about the progress I been making with the help of my coaches Rob and Eddie!!! Today I started with no idea how to power snatch and with incorrect form. Rob took his time and had patience with me the whole class until I had the right form and was able to complete a 11 minute round of power snatches. Love doing crossfit with these guys :D

I worked out often, however I was getting bored with my routine and began searching for something fun, challenging and different. That’s when I found CrossFit Secaucus and from the first class realized that I was not in the shape I thought I was in. Coach Rob and Coach Eddie welcomed me, pushed me, corrected my form the whole time and motivated me to get through that work out when I didn't think I was going to. It was tough and unlike anything that I was used to. That's the main reason why I keep coming back, that and the welcoming environment and the other great athletes that come here. Coach Rob and Coach Eddie took the boring out of my workout which makes me very happy. Every single class is a different workout, no matter what they are always pushing and motivating their athletes. There is no doubt in my mind that Rob and Eddie have the knowledge, passion and dedication to get me or anyone else where they want to be physically.

I had always wanted to exercise, but I wasn't sure where to go. I looked at different places, but there was no comparison to the dedication Coach Rob & Coach Eddie gives each of their athletes. They not only focus on the workout, but they really focus on our form. I have seen such an improvement in my performance since I started with CrossFit Secaucus. If you want to get healthy and in shape, this is the place to be. Everyone has been great. It's like a 2nd family.

Crossfit Secaucus is an amazing place. Coach Eddie and Rob are truly passionate about fitness and more importantly your form. They are always willing to stop what they are doing and correct you to make sure your form is correct. The workouts are always challenging and coaches are always there to motivate you and push you to the next level to complete the workout. I would highly recommend Crossfit Secaucus to anyone who is looking for a fun, challenging workout, and looking to get to the next level of fitness.

Words cannot express how thankful I am for the awesome coaches: Eddie & Rob. I came to CrossFit with a some bodybuilding background, BUT I had the desire to challenge myself and I knew that CrossFit was it. In particular, CrossFit in Secaucus.
Both coaches are professional and extremely knowledgeable to ensure that all participants understand the basics of every move for our safety. That to me is a huge plus because to see such dedication, patience, and care to teach is truly the mark of two great leaders (Eddie & Rob). I am proud to be part of the Secaucus CrossFit along with the wonderful motivating team.
It's awesome to be there in achieving goals, build strength, and at the same time make friends that will motivate you and encourage you to not give up. Hand down--- Awesome! Thank you guys. You are the best! Thankful to have found you! 100% Ready..Set...Go! :)

I began working out with Eddie and Rob when they were doing things outdoors back in 2012. Although they were training athletes outdoors, their coaching ability, knowledge of functional fitness and leadership is outstanding. Both Eddie and Rob are Smart, loyal, friendly and most important, charming. Even though they each have their separate approach in teaching, its obvious as to why they make such a great team. CrossFIt Secaucus' community/vibe is friendly and inviting. I can't wait to train at our new location!!!! Highly Recommended!!!
