It is impossible for me to express how Demetri has helped me change my life. After a health scare I decided I needed to make some changes and invest in my well being. As a long time friend of Demetri, I have had the opportunity to experience his fitness and nutrition knowledge and coaching first hand. Whether the coaching is directed toward me or his clients, Demetri is always patient, thoughtful and mindful. He takes into account your goals and helps to implement manageable lifestyle changes to improve your health and happiness.
If you ask Demetri to improve your diet, he will not simply write down an entirely new diet thats foreign to you which doesn’t account for the foods you prefer, can afford, or source easily (which I have experienced with other trainere). Instead, he will carefully reflect upon what you already eat (and prefer to eat), and from there, will begin to make substitutions of items that may be hindering you from the results you wish to see. With these substitutions, Demetri will also provide reasoning and break down misconceptions behind dietary information.
When it comes to fitness, Demetri takes into account your body’s overall health and longevity, instead of simply weight loss or building muscle. Demetri makes sure to account for flexibility, mobility, and overall joint and muscle health. Much like his nutrition advice, he takes into account your experience in the gym to ensure he builds you a manageable and enjoyable workout routine. He is able to develop a full body workout program to accommodate whatever resources you have available, from a complete commercial gym setup, to simply bands or body weight activities.
The most valuable aspect of working with Demetri is his mentality. He spends a lot of time analyzing how you personally perceive fitness and nutrition, allowing him to understand your psyche and mental barriers that may be getting in the way of your results and goals. In this, he practices patience, understanding and mindfulness.

There is a lot of confusing information out there about men’s health. Demitri’s testosterone pdf makes sense of it. I love how comprehensive it is. Demetri and I both attended Salisbury University where we were teammates on the Men’s Varsity Tennis Team.
We frequently worked out together and would discuss lifting and nutrition all the time. Demetri and I have trained in Santa Marta and Medellín, Colombia for one month in 2021. Since then I believe he is one of the most experienced & committed trainers around.
I really enjoyed the variety and challenge he put into sessions because It didn't matter the place or the time, whether it was on the beach, on the roof of the hotel without any training equipment, at the gym overlooking the bay, in the morning or at midday.

Demetri is a top notch trainer. When he works with you, its a combination of (i) technical western schooling given his masters in exercise science; and (ii) naturalist approach of using the world as your gym. On the first point, he’ll make sure you use proper form to optimize your returns on working out. On the second, during COVID he implemented an all natural approach of outdoor fitness to use body weight for stronger progression. His nutrition habits are also something to aspire to.

I met Demetri through mutual friends. After getting to know each other he told me his passion was health/nutrition and fitness. I went to the same gym as Demetri at the time and had the pleasure of working out with him. I have been working out since I was about 16 years old (so I am experienced in the gym. ‘So I thought’) having Demetri workout/train me and show me the most mynute adjustments to my exercises and realizing I may not be as experienced as I thought.
