I have long struggled with getting into an exercise routine. Hated gyms where everyone was trying to become a body builder. Well Endure offers something totally different, Functional Training! They also foster a real sense of community. I guess this is what I needed as I am now a member and going 4-5 days a week for over a month! In fact I really look forward to going. The coaches are incredibly supportive, offering alternatives should you have a limitation. The programming varies and builds over the month. The other members make you feel welcome and help new members as needed as well. Best of all, I can work at my own level. And great facility that fits the purpose ideally.

Read the reviews! They don’t lie! I agree with all the preceding honest opinion givers. To add, to me this place is more than a gym! This amazing group of people (Tim, Erin, EJ, Vanessa, Tommy and Rick) has built a supportive, motivating, nonjudgmental, friendly, inclusive and fun institution. In addition, they all truly care and constantly continue to make the experience better for everyone. The program is well thought out for any level, and since it changes every month, it will not allow you to get bored. All you need to do is show up, have fun, and get addicted! And before you know, your fitness will be at your highest level. You may make some new friends in the meantime as a bonus.

I joined endure in August of 2025. I thought the 10 days for 10 dollars was a good idea and went into it thinking this would just kick start my fitness and I’d go back to at home work outs and occasional drop ins but I was struck by how welcoming the entire community was.

EJ was great and gave me a tour and answered all my questions. My very first workout, I didn’t know anyone but partnered with someone who encouraged me, supported me and cheered me on.

The programming is great, class times are varied to allow for a variety of work schedules and in less than 10 days I was hooked.

I joined Endure about 8 months ago after doing the trial, coming from unmotivating home workouts and running outside. My coworkers were members and encouraged me to join and I'm so glad that I did. I love that every workout is different and challenging. The trainers are all excellent and pay special attention to form and technique throughout the class so no one gets injured. Everyone is friendly and its a great group. Just give it a try!

If you want to do it the right way, this is the place to be! I have been part of a gym or studio for over 15 years now throughout NJ/NY and Endure absolutely shines. I appreciate the way each friendly and knowledgeable trainer explains and demos each and every part of the workout and guides me through it. The community is friendly and makes working out enjoyable. Cannot recommend endure enough! This is the first gym that I’ve been to that I feel 100% comfortable, 100% confident, and 100% supported by everyone. The trainers are all amazing people, pushing you just the right amount to do your best, but still supporting you just the same on the days that you can’t give it your all!

The workouts are totally scalable— whether you want to lift heavy or do body weight, have an injury or just don’t want to do a specific exercise— the trainers happily give you an alternative.

Endure truly feels like a second home to me. I’ve met some amazing people here, and I have become so much more confident, strong and fit since coming here. They also offer nutrition coaching, personal training and fun challenges!

The coaching is top notch; knowing I have several orthopedic limitations they are always coming up and checking in with me on how I am feeling, giving modifications where needed. They also are here to help you succeed with your fitness goals. Needing to lose close to 50lbs for a surgery coming up they consistently motivated me and checked in on my progress and I am happy to say I have hit that goal plus some with their help. If you are looking for a place where they care about you as a person and will help you reach your goals; endure is the place for you. When I was considering Endure Training, I was worried that at 69 all I’d be is the old one in the room, needing to modify so much that I’d feel as if I didn’t belong. My thoughts were so wrong. Endure is such a great place to workout! They change up the workouts each day so you’re never bored, and the coaches are so knowledgeable! They circulate and offer guidance to make sure you’re doing the movements correctly. If you need to modify, and everybody does at one time or another, they have an arsenal of alternative movements. It’s such a welcoming community, supportive and happy for each other’s milestones…like when I did assisted pull-ups for the first time last week! Who would’ve thought! Truth is, they knew I could do them before I did!

Endure has been a fantastic addition to the Scotch Plains / Fanwood community. I first started going last winter after my wife had been a member for a few months and kept coming home after a workout raving about how great it was. I used to workout alone in my basement, but got stuck doing the same mundane cardio workouts. Endure was something different for me - a healthy mix of lifting and cardio that was unlike any workout I’ve ever done in the past. And the strength cycles change up every few weeks which introduce new movements and work different areas of the body. Honestly for me it was quite addictive and fun. The coaches are also fantastic. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to start feeling good mentally and physically.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Endure Training Co. I’ve been a member there since they opened and I can see and feel significant changes in my body. So grateful Endure opened in our community! They have Power, Push and Pace days, with the perfect mix of strength and conditioning in each class. I had not done strength conditioning before and I have felt supported and encouraged since day 1. The coaches do a fantastic job of teaching new moves and then actively monitor everyone throughout the workout. I always feel safe and secure. The community that they have built at the gym is also so supportive with everyone cheering each other on. This week, I was working on strict pull-ups for the first time and three different people came over to give me tips and encourage me. My family loves to hike and I am certain Endure is going to give me the strength to keep chasing my kids up and down the mountains!

Amazing facility, top equipment and great environment. The coaches are really great and helpful. They know how to push you to the limit in the best way possible with the workouts. I’ve been doing weightlifting for a few years and wanted to try something different, I wanted to spice up my training and this is exactly what Endure is all about. We have pace/ push and power days.
My endurance & conditioning improved 100% and it’s only been 2 months…

When people ask me how I like Endure, my short answer is "I love it!". Which always then leads me to give them my long answer lol. I've been doing strength and conditioning training for over 10 years and Endure is my absolute favorite place. The owners, Tim and Erin are genuinely good people, always thinking about their clients' well-being, and helping to build a strong community. All the coaches are amazing. They provide recommendations, watch/correct our form, push you when you think you can't, and cheer us on. The program is top-notch. In less than two months, I found myself lifting more than I ever thought I could. My intention was never to break any personal records, just come in, lift some weights and burn some calories. But week over week, they challenge us and I've seen progress both in strength and conditioning. I love that I can see the workouts in advance and able to track my progress over time through an app. I sometimes get bummed when I have to miss a workout because it actually looks fun. The community of people are wonderful. Everyone there is on their own personal fitness journey but everyone is in it together.

Don't feel intimidated if you haven't lifted weights before. Although it's a group setting, coaches do provide personalization by showing modifications and working with your limitations. And if you're someone who has lifted before, know you'll be challenged and you'll want to keep coming back for more.

Endure is the gym I needed to get back into a group fitness routine. Welcoming community, motivating and knowledgable staff, and challenging (but fun) workouts. As someone who has had trouble finding a program that makes me want to commit to my goals, this gym really feels like the answer. It really helps to not give up on yourself during these classes because the vibe/atmosphere of every class is very much 'we're all in this together even if we are at our own paces and abilities.' So, if you are like me and need that extra positive reinforcement, energy and social aspect of the gym, this is your place.

The owners, coaches and members are all incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and truly share your goals with you. Their programming is done consciously and intentionally. Everyone is super approachable and invested in your personal objectives.

The facilities/equipment are all brand new and gorgeous, the merch is actually cute, comfortable and well thought out/size inclusive, the Endure app (schedules/news) and SugarWod app (work-outs and track your progress) add to the experience and make everything ridiculously convenient.

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about Endure and the people behind it.

The best! Classes are all thought out in advance building strength and endurance week by week. Classes are a mix of strength and cardio (pace, power, push). The coaches and owners are all super friendly, energetic, knowledgeable and push you during classes. The place is super clean and all new equipment and great music!

And then there are the little things that add to overall experience.. 1) there are lots of class times offered throughout day to accommodate everyone’s schedule 2) The Endure app allows you to book/change classes seamlessly 3) The SugarWod app lets you see what the workouts look like each day (up to week in advance), keep track of your own personal workout notes (weight amounts, etc) and also offers a platform that encourages engagement among friends (fist bumps). 4) They also offer fitness and nutrition challenges and scheduled goal setting..

Can’t wait for the spring when they push up the garage doors and let the fresh air in! :-)
