I am deeply saddened by this locations impending closing. Sure it was never the cleanest gym and a lot of the cardio equipment was broken. But there sheer number of equipment and options could not be matched. The closest LA Fitness is so much smaller, only has a small variety of machines, and was so packed that I could barely work out. I will miss this gym dearly and will most likely be cancelling my membership all together.

So, I’ve been going to the gym on and off since 2019. I was overweight and mostly stuck to machine workouts. My eating habits weren’t great either — I would eat more sweets than real food. But in 2023, I decided to go back to the gym with a stricter mindset. I consistently went 3 times a week and gradually started to lower my sugar intake. I was 209 lbs and managed to drop down to 184 lbs.

Once I did that, I started incorporating more strength training, but I didn’t have the confidence to try the bench press because I was afraid of failing and ending up on someone’s TikTok video 😅. Then one day, I came across Esporta’s personal trainer program and thought, “Why not? What’s the worst that could happen?” So, I decided to dive in and took the assessment Antonio recommended.

After that, I was scheduled with Tony, who is very knowledgeable about workouts and even gave me tips on dieting. Of course, I adjusted my eating habits a bit, focusing more on plant-based meals than meat. I’ve been training under Tony for about a year now, and while I’m no bodybuilder, I’ve definitely seen way better results than when I first started.

I’m now able to do most of the workouts on my own without worrying if I’m doing them right or wrong. I’m hoping by the end of this year, I’ll have improved even more in muscle growth so I can educate my lazy friends on how to eat and train properly.

As a new mom with little to no gym experience, I was very nervous about joining a gym. I was greeted by Ben who was kind enough to give me a tour. He did a great job showing me the different areas and explaining the different classes they have to offer. He made me comfortable enough to sign up and have my first session that same day. The gym is very clean and everyone so far has been very friendly. The kid area is also great! They take children above 3 months. There’s a whole little play gym for the older kids to use. This is my go-to gym whenever I’m in town! They have a huge assortment of machines and free weights - I’ve never had to wait in a line even when it’s “busy.” It’s everything you need without the fanfare - just a good gym! They have tons of cardio machines, and the best is a lap pool that is never too crowded to get a good workout in. Mavrick, Ben, and the rest of the staff are also so very helpful. Totally recommend for a great workout and a friendly atmosphere.

The equipment is old compared to what you get at other competitors (Edge and Planet Fitness). I have been to all 3.

The membership is little expensive too compared to other 2 but they do offer a small indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam, basketball and squash courts.

If you are not using above mentioned facilities then you should consider going to Edge and PF since Esporta equipment is too old. You get much better vibe too to do workout when you have newer equipment!

Bathrooms are not that clean enough either at Esporta!

I am now a member at Planet Fitness and I like it here. Edge is smaller than PF and PF has more equipments hence I chose PF.

The HVAC system in the back half of the building has been broken since last summer. It is HOT and humid in the locker rooms which makes it hot and humid in the whole gym. The chlorine smell of the pool wafts everywhere. In need of serious fixing. I am about ready to cancel my membership.

My locker was broken into, and they took $177.00 from my phone case. The place is rough, and management is too relax. There has been a string of robberies going on at this gym. This gym left me with a sense of uneasiness regarding my security. Please, don't leave anything of value in your lockers because it can mysteriously disappear.

It deserves 3 stars. I only give it 4 because the employees are very good. And it has a decent selection of machines.
The people are a bunch of men-children who think their mom works here. They bring two friends and most do not put dumbbells or plates back even remotely close to where they should be. They’re strewn across the gym or left on the machines. Why would a woman want to unload 6 lates off a machine??? It’s laziness.
They leave drinks, wipes and other trash on the floor. They can’t even flush the toilets.
I’ve never been to a gym like this. Very sad state of affairs in Cherry Hill.

I have been a member for maybe a year now. I feel at peace when I come here. Not crowded and the atmosphere feels calm. Mike always addresses me and my daughter by name when we come in so it makes the experience nice when staff are familiar with you and welcoming.
