Don’t understand how people are giving this gym 5 stars, let alone any stars, hope that’s satire cause that’s comical.
This gym deserves 0 stars with where it’s currently at right now.

Been coming here since the beginning of 2016, since it was World Gym, then Workout World, and now Fairview Fitness.
This gym hasn’t always been the best to begin with but it got the job done at the end of the day for the price and location.
But the past few years it has progressively gotten worse and worse.
Nothing is ever cleaned by gym goers (we rarely even have any paper towels or proper cleaner) or any one that works there (which is the more concerning part), everything is dirty, disgusting, and unsanitary. Surprised the Fairview health department allows them to even run a business.
So many machines and equipment are constantly broken and never fixed for years.
There are toilets broken in the bathrooms.
The one singular water fountain in the entire gym is broken and out of order.

In the hotter months the owners would refuse to put the AC on, so the gym would be hot, humid, and gross. And in the colder months they would refuse to put the heat on so it’s freezing.

The steps to enter/exit the gym have always been wonky and a hazard, ironically enough they’re half blocked off right now with caution tape because they’re broken!

This gym is honestly a joke at this point.

Owners have had the money to fix it up, and there’s so much potential, but instead they’re sleazy, lazy, & greedy and would rather scam people out of money.
They have completely given up and don’t care.

Been paying about $32 every month, and they have the audacity to charge about a $53 bs “fee” TWICE a year.
Clearly they’re just pocketing all the money, cause nothing gets taken care of.

There were always rumors for years about them closing, but they finally decided to sell the gym, so it’ll be permanently closing the end of December 2024.
Would be nice if they actually told everyone in general, and instead of still trying to sign new people up to a gym falling apart that’s going out of business.

Some Happy Home adult day care is taking over, so everyone that has gone to this facility for years will be out of a gym soon.

Disappointing and a shame.

Been a long time coming, but time to finally find a new gym by the end of the year ✌🏼

gym itself has so much potential, so much space and well put matchines. however the owner is extremely careless and does not take care of the gym nor does he even turn on the AC Unit. Not even now during the summer. So many of us have complained and he literally said that if we had a problem with him not turning on the AC that we should go to a different gym and then lies to some and says it’s broken but it’s not. some match ones are broken and he does not fix them. very careless owner.

I only signed up cause it's literally a very short walk from my apartment. The gym absolutely sucks though 🥺 equipment is clearly not taken care of, it's hot in the warm months, freezing in the winter. Never paper towels and stuff to clean the equipment, nobody puts their equipment/weights away so it's always a scavenger hunt. They're closing, not closing it's tiring. Actively looking elsewhere.
Only plus is they have an attempted women's only room but men will always wander in anyways that they had to put 5 signs on the entrance of the area.

Worse customer service ever.
I called to get some info or to get a try at the gym but lady at the phone it was very rude. She was stopping me every time i was trying to talk or ask a question. All what she says is: is 29.99 dollars monthly and you have to come with a credit card

This gym is really bad. Most of the machines are broke, the gym is ALWAYS so cold because they don’t turn on the heat, the bathrooms are always dirty, and broke. There’s this guy who works there for years that he doesn’t leave you alone, specially if you’re a woman, he pretends he’s a trainer. So many weird guys who’s always steering at you. I only go there for convenience because it’s very close to my house.

Nice and huge place for work out where you can find many machines, barbells or weights for any exercise and any group of muscles. Here you can find separate rooms for: aerobics or different training classes which usually for ladies (like zumba or something else); stretching or warm up room; room for lower body for squats, deadlift etc.; ladies lower body work out room (where honestly I never even enter in 2 years). Yes sometimes machines or gym equipment gets broken from use and it’s normal. They fixing it asap and it’s always other similar equipment you can use because this gym has big varieties of them. Friendly stuff who keeps the place clean with nice environment. Overall good place for gaining muscle and good shape, would definitely recommend it.

I love this gym, been going here since 07 but the only thing that has changed is the hours. They use to have early morning hours and now that they have changed that to 7am it makes it hard for me to go since I work very late. I do hope ownership changes that at least to 6am.

This place is terrible, every time you go there you get a different price. This young girl that works lies about the membership pricing. I see that some people pay $80 per month yet I got it for $40/month after going there and talking to this guy who was honest and gave me reasonable price. This place is not worth even $20 per month.
The gym is not clean and half of the equipment do not work.
Join this gym and you’ll regret it shortly after.

I have been a member on and off for 12 years plus the staff is very friendly, however the cleanliness is at an all time low. The restrooms are always dirty and flooded, the other day there was dollar store soap in the mens room, paper towels were not stocked, urine on the floor, machines with sweat on them from previous usage. All in the middle of a pandemic.

This establishment like every other has its customers that can never be pleased. That being said, this gym has everything you would ever need and more. Ever since they opened back up the service went from great to amazing!!!!. I left this gym because I was traveling too much and did not have the time but now I just got back and signed back up. It's been incredible, great machines, great customer service by Alan at the front desk, Dr.Wraith always makes sure we are all being treated well and the equipment is stellar. I have been working out for over 25 years and I love it. The front desk aside from Alan are excellent as well. I'd recommend this gym to anyone!!!

This is an amazing gym, great equipment, most of the time clean, most of the staff are very nice. However, there’s this girl who always comes in late. Gym is suppose to open at 7 o’clock. This girl today came in almost at 7:15, is not the first time she does this, there’s been plenty of times she’s been late and instead of being like ‘ apologies for the delay’ or something she has an attitude like she’s doing a favor by opening the gym. I tried to talk with the manager but he was too busy to get back to me. It’s not funny to wait in the cold (-9) this morning, for gym to be opened when it should’ve been already. Some people are very tight in schedule so they should be aware of it.

Horrible customer service by Manager Travis.
I have been a member over a year and have fulfilled my commitment so I called to cancelled my account but I was told to come into the location. I went in and signed the cancellation form but 4 days later I was charged again. I was told by two gym representative that I will not charged again once I sign the cancellation form. When I called to ask for manager, Travis was non empathetic and just said “It’s in your contract so what ever his employees said doesn’t matter”. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away!

I have been going here for a few years and have met some really nice friends here. They also have some good classes with good instructors. However the equipment is old and the ladies room has several stalls which don’t work correctly. Half the parking lot is not paved and a mess. Currently there is a lot of construction going on next to the parking lot and many of us who go to this gym frequently have experienced nails in our tires. Sorry to say I found another gym. I can not afford to keep replacing tires and besides, I am enjoying the new equipment and new restrooms and the clean paved parking lot that my new gym offers.

I have been a member for quite some time now. It is not a bad gym and you do get alot for the money. I enjoy the classes, although some get overly crowded its a great option to have. The same cardio machines are constantly broken or an error will pop up on the treadmills in the middle of your workout which causes the machine to turn off. It is fairly clean and I do see that there are people cleaning and the staff is attentive.

Love this gym. It has something for everyone. From bodybuilders to beginners. Staff is nice and prices are good. It has a kitchen that does meal prep and shakes. I wish they could expand the room for leg day into the woman's circuit room but then the woman wouldn't have their own weight room. Just needs a vertical leg press.

this gym is the worst gym ever. They are prejudice against Hispanics. One time me and my friends wanted to sign-up for the membership, the manager in the front didn't speak Spanish, so I had asked for someone who could, but she told me that there wouldn't anyone who spoke Spanish, obviously she was lying others people who refer me to this gym knew of people whom spoke Spanish.

It really deserves 2.5 stars. But I will be kind and round up.

Pros = Lots of dumbells, free weights and equipment. You have everything you need in one place. Good cafe and the owner of the cafe is nice.

Cons = Equipment is old and broken. Poor ventilation. There is a funny smell.

This place could be great. I am only going for a particular 3 month program and I will say that all the equipment I need is always available. If all you need are free weights and dumbells...you are good. I hope they take the time to invest in this location. However, I would not make this my permanent gym. Not unless they made some major changes.
