I’ve been with Forge for 5 years and it has changed my life. I’ve seen myself get stronger, more confident and achieve my fitness goals. I used to shy away from the gym and go straight to the cardio equipment because I was intimidated to join those in the weight section. Now when I’m traveling and in public gyms, I walk right over and work through my personalized program - often receiving compliments for how hard I am working / the weight I am pushing. I owe this to the amazing coaches at Forge. They are all knowledgeable, approachable and accessible. Your plans are tailored to your goals. The checkin’s with your coaches help identify if anything needs to be modified and on more than one occasion, has helped hold me accountable and get me back on track if I’ve strayed from my goals. The discipline cultivated through my time here has affected every other part of my life positively - work, yoga, nutrition, etc. Walking into Forge 5 years ago was one the best decisions I’ve ever made. I moved from the West Windsor area in 2024 and have been getting my tailored plans from my coach even though I no longer use the facility. This post is for anyone who has tried on their own but couldn’t quite get the results they wanted. I’ve done programs, joined gyms, and bought equipment to work out at home, but I struggled with engagement, progress, injury, and commitment.

Forge Personal Training has changed all of that for me.

I was hesitant at first, but after my consultation with Coach Ryan, I left excited about what he and his team offered. I joined that same day, and I have no regrets. I truly feel like I’ve joined a community.

You show up to work out, and there is always a coach on the floor providing guidance, feedback, and encouragement. This is great for me, as I thrive on feedback. It keeps me engaged, helps with advice if I feel discomfort during a particular movement, and gives me that extra motivation when my energy is low.

I also appreciate being assigned my own coach—Coach Morgan! She has been instrumental in helping me better understand and work toward my goals.

I started at Forge in the spring & am already seeing changes. I’m stronger & have way more energy, particularly in the afternoon. As someone who used to workout regularly, but fell off due to…life…and some health issues, I’ve found the coaches’ mix of encouragement, advice, and positivity to be spot on. They give great cues to help me make subtle changes that increase the effectiveness of the exercises I’m performing. The holistic workout program builds core muscles that have improved my ability to do exercises I’ve performed for years, like the push up and plank. But the coaches also don’t let me overdo things by reminding me to “leave a little in the tank”, which means I’m not so sore that I give up and never come back.
Another selling point for me - I’ve had a tough time finding gyms with classes that fit my work schedule. I’ve always like the camaraderie of working out with other people, but my schedule doesn’t line up with most of my friends. I appreciate the plenty, varied times I can workout at Forge and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know my fellow trainees.

For me, Forge Personal Training is the perfect combination of personal, customized training with all the benefits of group fitness!

Extremely happy that I joined Forge program. The program is very well structured focusing on individual goal with progressive challenge. All the coaches are very knowledgeable and able to provide guidance in every session to ensure that we are utilizing the right techniques as well as flexible to modify the training based on our feedback. Forge is the place I have been looking for for years! I have tried many different types of exercises and programs and this is the first that feels like the right fit. All of the trainers are very knowledgeable and happy to help with anything you need throughout your session. Being healthy and fit is the best thing you can do for yourself and your loved ones! I tried multiple programs from online coaching to working 1:1 with a personal trainer and nothing worked because it either lacked consistency, was expensive, didn't feel manageable long term, etc. I am really impressed with the program at Forge! It is not as expensive in compare with similar offerings, it is structured in a way that gives a sense of accomplishment regardless of the fitness level (they tailor the program to challenge you in a way that makes sense for your level), and most of all it is a small group setting which I really enjoy. Everyone comes to become healthier and better versions of themselves. There is absolutely no judgment. Everyone is friendly and encouraging. Coaches are great too, each of them taught me few things I didn't know - breathing techniques, form, safety when lifting and stuff like that. I think coaches are doing their best to get to know you too and they do so genuinely. It is honestly one of the best investments in myself I have ever made. I love this gym. They work with you individually and design a personalized program for each person. The trainers are super friendly and helpful. In addition to workouts, the program includes nutrition coaching and regular personal communication with your individual trainer, which is super helpful. There are tons on class times available and I’ve never had an issue getting in when I wanted. It’s an awesome place to belong and work out!

The personal approach at Forge is fantastic! I started out here after PT and was trying to find my bearings with weights and physical movement after not having exercised in too long. It didn’t take much time before I felt comfortable, with the help of some really great coaches!! Seriously, they can make small tweaks to your form that have such impact. I've been working out at Forge Personal Training for the last two months and it's been a transformational experience for me. I have done strength training on and off for many years. Unfortunately the older you get, the further the responsibilities pile up, and it's easy for exercise to take a back seat. Forge's program allows for great life balance with their flexible schedule.
Their workout program is centered around building up your strength in various exercises over the course of 6 weeks. During this time, you'll have amazing coaches navigating your through the moves and provide guidance on improvements. I had two babies in two years and lost my former physique and level of energy and fitness. I have been at Forge for 2.5 months now and feel completely different. My energy is back and I have a support network that keeps me coming back. The coaches are fun, extremely knowledgeable, professional and responsive. Every time I’ve needed adjustments made because of past or current injuries, they know exactly how to accomodate and help me build strength safely. The program has completely reset my nutrition and I am now habitually eating a healthy, balanced diet. The coaches work with you through daily check-ins outside of the gym so that you can share honest challenges, ask questions and stay accountable. All progress is scaffolded so that you don’t feel overwhelmed by too much change or new information upfront. I know I would not have the patience and discipline to regain fitness on my own. Arguably the most important thing Forge has done for me is reframed my mindset and helped me understand that my goals will take time to achieve. I just have to be consistent, which is something I struggle with on my own. I would recommend Forge to anyone at any age and level of fitness. After a month with Forge I was asked how I was doing. How am I doing? I am doing freaking fantastic!!! My session yesterday was a break through. Justin can attest. (btw I really really love Justin’s enthusiasm, knowledge, guidance, and encouragement! I have never been able to do a proper squat before now, thanks to Justin!!!) Matter of fact I haven’t felt that good and strong in 12 years!! I am so very grateful I found the Forge community! I have been coming twice a week to group sessions.(with Morgan, Justin and Joe so far. They are all awesome!) I love the set up! I always feel confident and encouraged in group sessions. A great place for starters! I finished a session of private lessons with Joe before joining the group sessions. The schedules and workouts are well organized and personalized, so I don’t need to worry about anything, just attend. They also do nutrition suggestions and track progress. Coach Joe, Justin, Ryan and other coaches are very friendly and responsible, whichever class you attend, they are there to help. Without the training program, I don’t think I can keep going to the gym for 3 months, and more!

I joined Forge after tearing my ACL, getting surgery, and completing my physical therapy. I felt that I still had a long way to go before my operated leg was back to where I wanted it to be, and I wanted some help with figuring out how to get it there, staying motivated to keep working on getting stronger, and building strength and mobility to prevent future injuries.

I've only been at Forge for about two months, but my leg feels stronger every week and my doctor was really impressed with my progress at my last visit. I'm really glad that I joined Forge - it's helpful to have coaches that tell me what exercises I should be doing, correct my form, and nudge me to go up in weight when they think I can handle it.

The gym is clean and never feels crowded, everyone is friendly and welcoming, and the coaches are always at a hundred percent pumping us up and helping us. Forge makes me confident that my time in the gym is time well spent, and that I'll soon be able to return to my sports safely.

Joining Forge was one of the best decisions I made for my health and well being. I love having a personal training plan to follow. When in the gym there’s only a maximum of 6 people. I never feel intimidated or need to keep up with other clients. A trainer is always present in both gyms to guide and provide support when training.

Forge is my happy place.

I joined Forge a couple of months ago and since then, I have seen a noticeable difference in my strength and eating habits. Forge’s training and nutrition philosophy is based on a strong foundation of building habits gradually and that is what makes this lifestyle change sustainable.

The out-of-gym support (communication with your dedicated trainer) is also very helpful in remaining accountable, getting any questions answered and staying consistent.

I have almost completed my first phase (6 weeks) at Forge. I am someone who has tried countless amount of gyms, classes, bootcamps, and personal training, and I just want to say that Forge has been the best exercise experience I have had thus far. Many gyms promise undivided attention, nutrition help, and help with lifestyle changes, but Forge actually delivers! I feel extremely seen, understood, and cared about. I am paired up with Coach Justin who really took the time to get to know me on a strength level, and also who I am outside of the gym. He has come up with the best plan to meet my goals, that works for my hectic work and social schedule.

I am really happy with the consistency I have formed over the last 6 weeks and being able to see more and more progress every week. I also feel as if I am challenged at Forge and motivated to push harder than I have ever in the past. Because of this, I am feeling soreness and stronger in muscles that I never have before. Overall, my energy levels have been great as well.

I am also really happy with the attention that I get from the trainers. They are very meticulous in making sure every exercise is performed with great form. I reached out to the folks at Forge Performance after having plateaued with making progress on my own home workouts. I needed some help taking my fitness journey to the next level, but I was always intimidated about joining a gym. All the equipment seemed complicated, and I was nervous about not knowing how to do things correctly.

After having a consultation with Ryan, I could tell Forge was the right gym for me. The classes are great because there is always an instructor to help you if you have any questions. All the coaches are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and provide such a welcoming atmosphere. You also get paired up with your own coach. They send you your workouts on an app, along with specific lessons that you focus on from week to week. This system has been so beneficial to me. I've only been going here for about 3 months now, and I've had a great experience so far. Coaches are all very supportive and enthusiastic and make you want to push harder during your sessions. I initially discussed with Coach Ryan about my primary goal which is to lose weight and then to start eating healthier. I work weekly with coach Justin to set realistic goals to alter my diet and increase intensity in each workout. The support outside of the gym is what sets them apart from other places (i.e. 24/7 access to messaging with my coach, daily check-ins, etc.). Sweet baby Jesus! I have found my new gym home and “sweat family.” It is impossible to envision myself ever going back to a regular, large scale gym.
I first contacted Forge Performance close to a year ago. My dental profession has created profound imbalance, pain and limited mobility in my neck, back and shoulders. I endured multiple chiropractic sessions for years that gave me fleeting relief at best. Chronic, repetitive movement was my enemy.
I contacted Forge Performance online and Owner/ Head coach Jack Molesko was rapid in his response to schedule a meeting and learn more about my concerns. He completed a thorough movement evaluation and we discussed the areas that Forge could help with in my movement. I subtly tested his sense of humor to ensure the fact that I would be a good fit. I then threw my credit card at him and the deal was done. Coach Jack evaluated and assigned a program specifically for MY needs. His coaching is meticulous and top-notch.
Upon meeting Forge’s trainers, I was extraordinarily impressed at their knowledge and professionalism. Ryan is a wealth of knowledge and always has a calming method of getting the best result from my workout. Coach Morgan institutes a coaching confidence that will give you the praise and encouragement to get it done! The coach I have worked with the most is Coach Justin, aka- My boy/homie. Justin is professional and fun. As a lifter himself, he knows the slightest nuances of lifting weights and muscle firing.
Lastly, I cannot believe how much better my upper back and shoulder stability and movement has improved. It shows in my profession daily. Not just this physical improvement will keep me going to Forge, but the warmth, personality and humor of every coach!

I cannot recommend Forge Performance enough! I was searching for a smaller, personal training gym due to the pandemic, and stumbled upon Forge online. I have been a member at different gyms where boot camps/HIIT style classes are the norm, and I’ve never made the progress I’ve made here at any of those places. Jack, Morgan and Ryan are a wealth of knowledge and are phenomenal coaches. They each bring a different focus to training and challenge you in different ways, which is a wonderful balance. The sessions are small and each person has an individualized workout. The format makes it interactive, safe with respect to any preexisting injuries and conducive to learning good form and target muscle groups to work on for each exercise. While gym had been a place I always enjoyed, bad posture and movement patterns that developed in the past decade turned going to the gym into painful as I would often incur injuries and pain from bad form and repetition of exercises I was comfortable with. The attention to personalized workouts as well as intensity and form during my training by the coaches at Forge made workout what it should be—a step toward health through strength training. The staff at Forge combine a high level of professionalism with their own personalities, which always make training enjoyable and manageable without taking away from the intensity, as is clear from the fact that everyone training at Forge are always enjoying their time training.

Excellent place if you want a serious transformation, physically and mentally! You have to be committed to the routine, but the coaches(called rightly so) are there with you every step of the way.
The biggest plus being, I don’t have to think about anything, just come in and do the workout that’s written for me (yes, they write individual workouts, which are based on individual strength and goals), and get that box ticked!
They don’t do a million things like the other gyms offer, but they do the one thing right! And the close knit Forge community makes it a pleasure to be at!
Very lucky to have such a fantastic facility in our backyard. Highly recommend it!!

I've known the coaches at Forge for a while, and the progress I've made not only physically, but mentally has been great. It's a supportive family and the members really do make coming in to work out a great experience. Even though we're working out own programs, we are rooting for one another and have great group events that strengthen the 'family' feeling even more. They challenge you to be your best self which carries out from the gym to the real world.

This place is awesome! The amount of logical training I receive has made me so much stronger. I really thought I was in great shape when I joined a year ago. I learned the reality....I have certain areas of weakness and they can expose it and easily correct it. I learned how so much strength emanates from the lower half of the body. I discovered I needed to improve this area. It was their evaluations that discovered this. I now have so much more lower body strength than before and my body had been changing a lot for the better. Forge Performance is so worth it and I promise you will feel the same way!

Forge Performance coaches have turned me into a much stronger, healthier person. I've worked with trainers at big box gyms, and they don't even come close to Forge. I am not a reviews kind of guy, but then again Forge is not like any regular gyms I've been to. Even though I had personal trainers in other gyms before, I never felt welcome and always lacked motivation. But Forge is different.
I always look forward to go workout. It largely comes down to the dedication of Ryan, Jack, Rebecca and Tina to not only train us but also show working out can be fun. Forge is hands down the best place to workout and make new friends doing so.

The only thing I am disappointed about is that this rating has only 5 stars. Forge deserves more.

I've been an avid runner and cyclist but never got into strength training. I signed up with Forge as a last resort to get into strength training and I think it's one of the best decisions I made for my health and wellness. The semi--private training allowed me to overcome my dear of strength training and also eased me into the whole program.

I can't thank Ryan, Jack, Rebecca and Tina enough for what they have done to help me get the strength boost to improve my timings in running and cycling as well.
