Freedom Aquatics is one of the best competitive swimming programs. My son is 15 now, and he has been with them since he turned 5. His younger brother recently joined the team as well. They both love it and truly enjoy every practice, competition, and team gathering with their friends and coaches.

The coaches are incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. They pay close attention to each swimmer and have a unique approach to nurturing young athletes. Both of my sons fell in love with the sport after they started swimming with Freedom Aquatics.

I’ve seen such a positive change in them—their growth, confidence, discipline, and commitment to everything they do.

My son started with Freedom Aquatics swimming school in Staten Island when he was just 5 years old. He progressed from zero swimming skills to being in their pre competitive team very quickly.
Seeing how he likes swimming and really enjoyed competitions, we decided to join Freedom Aquatics competitive team.
It has been just a little bit over the year, but I feels like we joined a very big extended family ❤️
Coaches are amazing, they see what you child needs and they adjust practice routine accordingly.
Kids are grouped by skills level and groups are not overcrowded. Every swimmer receives personalized attention and reviews. Coaches communicate with parents constantly and keep us informed about the process and what might be holding your swimmer behind.
You never feel disconnected.

Freedom Aquatics team is very competitive among other US swimming teams. They always make sure their swimmers participate in all major swim meets.
We have been with Freedom just over the year and already participated in many local Metro area meets and even went to St Petersburg this August for ISCA meet, where our swimmers showed amazing results.
I am so happy we took that opportunity and joined Freedom and we are looking forward for many more amazing swim years.
My son has a high goals in swimming and I believe Freedom Aquatics is THE Team to help him to achieve them.

Great team! Super friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The coaches are truly amazing—hands down. My kids are constantly improving, but most importantly, they enjoy every single practice.

"The coaches and kids are very kind, the kids understand if you are slower. Coaches notice when I need help. Lanes are not crowded, usually everyone has a spot on the wall. The practices are a mix of fun and work, dry land is honestly helpful but it is also fun because we joke around (but we still get the work done). The pools are nice (both in New Jersey and Brooklyn) and they both have good water temperatures. Summary: The team is nice and welcoming, recommended.”

I want to leave an honest review of the Freedomaquatics club. For my six-year-old daughter, I was looking for a swimming school where she would be taught to swim properly with subsequent participation in competitions. I am very glad that we have been training with Freedomaquatics for three years: my daughter is making great progress, participating in competitions, we have been to sports training camps with the team. I really appreciate the sincere and friendly atmosphere in the club, the communication between the coaches and the children is at the level of a friend!

Now my two children are here and we are moving only forward for victories and results.

Thanks to the club, parents develop warm and friendly relationships too. Joint trips bring people closer together. It's cool.

Our swim team has an excellent coaching staff, and we regularly participate in competitions, which helps swimmers grow professionally and compete against the strongest athletes. We also have a great pool in Perth Amboy with plenty of lanes and a comfortable water temperature. My son loves being part of Freedom.

Freedom Aquatics has been a great part of most of my life.  I have been surrounded by great coaches and teammates my whole career, especially Coach Nikolay, Coach Maria, and Coach Sue.  Being a Freedom Aquatics swimmer for 10 years, I can say that practices are structured well for all age groups.  At each practice, Freedom Aquatics coaches make sure to focus on both technique and conditioning.  Freedom Aquatics helps swimmers develop into great competitors and teammates in and out of the water.  Overall, this team has helped me reach a distinguished level in the water, and gave me a great foundation to be able to continue my swimming career in college at the D1 level next year.
