I just moved to the area and was hoping to find a home gym which is why I just came in to this establishment and inquired about membership. When I pulled up to the desk I explained to the young lady I would like to see the gym and she graciously invited me to tour the gym and ask questions afterwards.
I was rudely stopped by a short bald-headed older gentleman who proceeded to interrogate me and my purpose for being there. I explained I was just touring the gym and he unprofessionally told me I was not allowed to walk around. I responded by explaining the young lady at the desk told me to take a look at the gym at my own leisure. He then went to the desk berated the young lady for allowing me to walk around. I was literally in the gym for 90 seconds. He could have used a different approach. If his actions were any sign of what was to come at this gym, I am happy I dodged a bullet. I just apologized for the interaction and walked out. I hope the young lady did not get in trouble. I guess I will continue to look for a different gym. The older gentleman was very unwelcoming and unprofessional. I wish them the best.

I recently open up at another giant fitness due to racist display at another location. I brought same membership where I can access to any giant fitness locations! When I signed up at this new location I never visited yet but still was going to racist located in voorhees one which is closer to where I live and train station! I was then again told to leave by cops where I was just working out minding my business ! Later got email from new location stating to cancel my membership when I never step foot in their location so how can I be canceled when I just signed up! This disgusting discrimination behavior going on behind giant fitness all I want to do is workout all this unnecessary!! The new location canceled my membership without notice, must off called other location and tried cancel my membership immediately! No calls no nothing just very rude!! I repeat run if you see this type of disrespectful behavior no person should endure behavior from a gym it’s something to relieve stress not go to gym to be the stressed!

I been a member of giant fitness gym since it open. I think it’s the worst gym In the world. I was going to get a membership, but $59 enrollment fee plus another $45 a year for "maintenance" that will be charged 45 days after enrolling? So in the first two months you're paying $59+$20 for month 1 and $20 for month 2+an additional $45 fee. So $145 for 2 months of membership. What an absolute scam of a system.

Mt. Ephraim Giant Fitness itself isn’t bad, though it is smaller and has less equipment than other Giant Fitness locations. However, I cannot stress enough how lousy they have been regarding the personal trainer fees. I told my trainer, John, that I had to cancel my sessions sometime in July of 2024. I asked if I had to sign anything for the cancellation and he told me that I didn’t but I’d be charged again since they require 30 days notice before subsequent payment for cancellation. John told me that he’d let his supervisor , Jesse, know about the cancellation. At this point it was my understanding that my last payment would be in August 2024. September 2024 rolls around and they charged my account. I emailed Jesse on 10/1/24, to tell him that I cancelled my sessions and requested a refund for the charge they charged me in September and never got a response. I called Giant Fitness Customer Care on 10/21/24 when I saw that they were charging me AGAIN in October 2024. Customer Care informed me that I would have to contact Giant Fitness Mt. Ephraim to cancel my training sessions. I informed them that I tried twice to no avail and customer care said there was nothing they could do to help me. So, I had to contact my bank to inform them of the fraudulent charges and request a stop payment for the training sessions. I thought this was all over with at that point until a couple months ago, I was stopped at the front desk when I checked in and was informed that I owed charges for the personal trainer. I explained everything I mentioned above and the gentleman at the desk informed me that he would let the manager know so that they can stop trying to charge me for personal training sessions. Tell me why today, 3/1/25, as I was leaving the gym, a different young man at the front desk stopped me to tell me that I owed money for the personal training again?! Again I explained that I cancelled the personal training last summer and should not be getting charged for it. He claimed that he would let the manager know the situation so that they can stop trying to charge me. So at this point, I’m over the way they run their business and would advise anyone considering using the trainer there to not bother unless you want them to try to commit fraud on your account. Stick with just paying for the membership or find a new gym altogether.

My old gym closed after many years. Someone recommended this place and I'm glad I joined. There is plenty of equipment, and the place is always clean and well maintained. There is a large locker room and the bathrooms and showers are spotless. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The crowd is very diverse and you can't beat the hours.

The gym does not have enough equipment for the number of people who go here.
* The parking lot is frequently full at all hours of the day
* There are three squat racks and they are occupied more often than not.
* There is no space or extra bars for deadlifting, so people deadlifting also occupy squat racks.
* There are not enough plates for the number of bars in the gym. If you come you will frequently have to go searching for a plate from a different piece of equipment.
* The equipment is wearing out. Treadmills will have slipping treads which are not replaced. Plates are worn away.
* The machines are jammed everywhere with insufficient space between them. If you are trying to move past the cable machines, they are arranged such that the space between them is impassable.

Okay worst gym ever. Literally NO SPACE to even MOVE. Not enough equipment I had to share a pec deck with strangers bc there’s a literal line to use it. The staff is nice but really why is half of the gym cardio equipment. Like they didn’t have enough weights and just threw down 50 cardio machines with only 10 being used max and no space for weights. Wow I’m just surprised this place is even in business !

Average neighborhood style gym, clean, basic. Rarely are machines out of service and are fixed quickly if so. Massage chairs for premium members. Vending for drinks. Trainers are here. The one thing I wish all of them would have are water bottle fillers. There have been times when the water fountains aren't working, time to upgrade to bottle fillers. Depending on which location this is for, business can vary. Mondays are almost always packed after work, 5-8pm.

I have been a member for over a year. It has everything you need for a great workout. They have Hammer strength equipment to work every body part. It is in excellent like new condition. There are free weights from bench presses, shoulder presses and squat racks. Plenty of dumbells in duplicate weight to over 100 pounds. I have rarely had to wait to use any equipment. There are many different cardio machines. Step machines, stationary bikes, rowing, elliptical, and running machines. There are tanning beds and massage chairs for premium members. The locker rooms are large with showers and very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is personal training available. The people who workout there are friendly and wling to spot you if needed. You won't be disappointed and I highly recommend Giant.

A very nice gym with plenty of space and a comprehensive gamut of exercise equipment. The bathrooms and men's lockroom appeared to be clean and sanitary as well as the gym in it's entirety. It would be great if they upgraded their water fountains to include a motion activated water bottle refill station and had more gym locations . I would definitely highly recommend this place to friends, family, and even acquaintances.

This is a great gym to train at. Mainly because of the updated equipment and the friendly staff . Personally , I have had positive results in my training with the help from Jesse, the lead personal trainer here . If you’re looking for a productive training session, definitely see Jesse. Love my gym. I am not a professional bodybuilder but visit this gym on regular basis. There are limited number of people around 4 am to 5:30 am therefore you will have almost all machines available for you to workout. They recently added 125 lbs dumbbells. Staff is great. They have three showers in men’s area and I never had a time I had to wait to take shower. Enough storage space. All this is true during morning hours when I visit the gym. Things may be different during other hours.

This is an excellent and well maintained facility. Lots of space and plenty of equipment for devoted lifters and casual exercisers alike. It occupies that sweeet spot between hard core Gold’s Gym and underequipped Planet Fitness. At this price, it’s a tremendous bargain. Staff is friendly, hours are good, and it’s not overly crowded most times. The FitLife trainers on site are very helpful and knowledgeable.

This is the cleanest gym I have ever belonged to. The equipment is well maintained and up to date.
If you are looking to exercise, this is the place. It's hardcore and right to the point while still being clean and upbeat.
What it is not: It's not a senior social club, soccer mom aerobics class, or a yoga center. And it definitely is not a Planet Fitness (the place for people who are intimidated by people who actually like to workout)
They do have trainers, so if you're new to fitness, you're set. I wouldn't recommend this gym to those competing in power lifting (no chalk allowed). However, if you're into bodybuilding, strength training, and/or general fitness and you are looking for an affordable clean gym, this is the place.

I frequent this gym regularly and at different hours ranging from before work, to after work, and in the evenings. There is always activity in the gym, but it is never crowded. I have never had to wait for a cardio machine of any kind, there are ample free weights, and a large selection of weight machines. The staff is friendly, the clientele are kind and respectful, and the gym and locker rooms are always spotless. I see one guy in particular always working his ass off to keep the place clean. I’m sorry that I don’t know his name, but he does it all. Great place to go!
