It's incredible today I had the most awkward moment in this place I am a platinum member of this gym I have the right to use the chairs and the pool turns out today I only wanted to get a massage in the chairs a man came because he looked at me with my work uniform shirt and yelled at me to get off the chairs that I couldn't be there when I told him that I was a platinum member and that I was paying for that service he said he didn't care and that he had to check my card I told him I already scanned it and still he went to get my keys he scanned the card and he was going to get me off the chair when I was in front of him I told him I wanted to cancel the membership he told me no that I was sorry that it was a confusion I think that even if the person is not platinum it doesn't mean that they can treat them like that just because they are Hispanic that is being racist it's incredible how in a place they can have racist people at this point in a gym where thousands of Hispanics go it's the first time that in a place like this they track me they treat me ugly and bad for being Hispanic when I am paying for my membership.

The bathrooms are very clean in the upstairs and lower level. It’s a very big giant fitness. The women section is not very clean , the ladies do not clean after themselves after using machines. Some of the women just leave the weights laying around after using it. The equipment in this section is very outdated. The Jersey girls in Westville is way better.

Kid with the mullet and the dark skin girl that work at night told me they no longer do the key cards when I asked for a new one. That’s literally giant fitness way of getting in the gym. They were both just being lazy and that’s there only job. Older guy in the morning is chill. I’ve been a member here for 4 years and when I tried canceling my membership the only way of canceling was by getting charged an extra 2 months. (Something that’s new for them and shouldn’t even be applied to old members unless I signed it in my initial contract)

Was a member at Delran for 4 years, Mount Laurel for 2 years and was forced to join here after Mount Laurel closed. After 3 years of being here I had an issue with the trainer Riggie first telling me "you're breathing too hard when you work out," then when I accidentally dropped a weight "if you drop a weight again, Dom will have you kicked out." I complained about her putting her things on 4 different pieces of equipment (against gym rules) but was told she's allowed to do that.

Then out of nowhere Dom calls me to revoke my membership because....get this "you are stepping on the stair climber too hard." Joined anytime fitness where I told them this and they literally laughed "that's what stair climbers are for."

Save yourself the headache and join a gym where they actually fix their equipment (stuff is constantly broken here for months). and don't act worse than planet fitness.

This used to be a great gym but now has poor airflow. They have rooms that don’t have working AC in the summer heat. But I can look past this the thing that gets me is they have so many damn customers. I mean a lot of folks use giant fitness especially since nearby there is no other gym so they kinda run the show but to let it go this much is just pure ignorance. The men’s bathroom upstairs has a urinal that won’t flush and the piss has sat there for so long that the urinal is rusting, yes the white urinal is rusting and the piss just sits there stinking up the whole damn place. The equipment is good because the members actually take care of it so you can tell they have good people coming here but it blows my mind they won’t fix some of the stuff. Also the water fountains have the worlds worst water pressure but the faucets have good pressure so that means the filters in the water fountains must be backed up and need changing. I mean come on how hard is it to change a 10$ filter for your customers. They are focused on changing floor tiles on the first floor which is nice but it feels like a band aid for the real problems.

They advertise childcare but have no dedicated daycare staff. When you do arrive and need daycare, it seems like an inconvenience. You go in and wait anywhere from 1min -10 min for someone to arrive to provide the childcare. The morning crew is a woman named Christine and man named Gerald. No issues with the gentleman, he’s always been kind and respectful, but Christine clearly doesn’t want to be there. She is passive aggressive, disrespectful and rude. I’m going to assume she has no kids therefore doesn’t understand typical child development or how to interact with children. She doesn't communicate well with adults either! She’s very rude and unprofessional. When on the phone with the owner, she became a different person. The one upside is they are 24/7 which a lot of gyms in the area are not. Otherwise, you can get a cleaner facility, with newer machines, better amenities and same pricing, elsewhere. I didn’t utilize the 24/7 portion of it very much, I typically go within regular gym hours, so I will be taking my business back to Edge!

The Gym: 24/7 365. On top of that, it is staffed. Just that alone is worth 5 stars, but we aren't done. The equipment is excellent and tailored to heavy lifters as well as new comers. I feel comfortable benching 405 on their benches and squatting in their heavy racks. My wife feels comfortable in all of the machines and on top of that has a female only section when she wants to do her own thing. There is a full Olympic pool that is open into the later hours on weekdays and weekends. It is a large gym that suits many needs including mine as a power lifter. Gym is also very clean, has water bottle filling stations, lockers for gym bags, hand sanitizer stations, massage chairs, tanning and more!

I had an issue where I was accidentally signed up for 2 memberships, and the manager Dom was right on it. He called me from his cell phone and handled the issue above and beyond what a normal manager would. I had to give him a shout out in this review, so that when you read this you know that the manager cares about his members! By far they put the other 24hr. clubs to shame, and with a manager and staff that takes care of its members, I highly recommend Giant Voorhees

Update: Also since I've been visiting the gym I have been a nuisance to the front desk, constantly asking for and borrowing equipment. I appreciate how friendly the lady and the gentleman are. They do their best to help me out and I couldn't be more grateful considering how often they have to deal with me.

After experiencing other gyms. I can honestly say. This was one of the least abusive I've dealt with. Whenever I'm in the area I sign up here. There's two months lead up for canceling subscription. So if you want to make sure it ends at the time you want it to end. Just make sure you plan for it.

In the building, I've only been in the areas with gym equipment. I have not seen the conditions of the locker rooms, pool, or the areas where they hold the martial arts training. So just speaking to that, it's pretty clean. Equipment is mostly always in the place it should be. Not too difficult to find things. And most people here will wipe down the benches on their own. Also, Adrian (I believe is the custodian) is the man! It's rare to see someone work so hard on their own. Truly motivating for me when I'm in the gym lifting and I see this guy working. A little uncomfortable cause it makes me confront my own short comings but it only helps me grow. He's mad friendly and it seriously lifts my day saying hi to this guy before I go back out into the world to take ish (google won't let me curse) on.

I tried LA Fitness in the area on RT73. It was seriously a huge let down. You would think the place would be adequate. But looks are deceiving. The facility is mostly nice. But the place is constantly a mess and literally people will leave their sweat slop all over the benches. Biggest issue was with their sales manager. The guy messed up bad and tried to make me feel guilty and ashamed so he wouldn't have to feel bad about the situation. Seriously emotionally manipulative. If you have to sign up there. Avoid Steve the sales manager at all cost. Otherwise save yourself the trouble and just come to Giant. Sort of though. Cause it gets crowded here. So i would like it to not be as crowded. But I would rather it be crowded here than people go somewhere else where they could possibly get mistreated.

The front desk manager is pretty rude and unwelcoming. Almost feels like a highschool principals office, like we're inconveniencing them. On top of that the school looks and feels like a highschool too... it's 50% kids with the pool and karate classes. I'd avoid this place, looking forward to ending my membership.

Love this location because they have a pool lol. No, but seriously it's a great location. Not busy when I need to go. I have a personal trainer here which is really nice. Great equipment. The only downfall is that the AC sucks. I'm afraid someone's going to passout one day due to the heat. Especially in the female section. It is weird because I've been a member since 2021 I believe and the air used to be fine. Oh! And I'm not sure if any other location has them, but I recommend having the water fountains where you can refill your water bottle! That would be a great addition.

Been coming to this gym for years now, I stopped coming because I feel unmotivated, my younger brother wanted to start his fitness journey so I came with him but literally the first day someone took $300 from his wallet and $150 from mine (probably my fault because I didn’t use a lock, I mean all these years it never happened before) I bought a lock and they still opened and stole $40 from my brother wallet, and tried to used my debit card. They've repurposed an existing suburban building into a gym, so the lay out is a bit janky. I just appreciate that it exists where it does. It's probably more of a 4-star gym, but the SUPER HELPFUL folks at the front counter easily make bump it up to 5. I only come here a few times a year when visiting family nearby, and inevitably there's an issue with my slightly dormant account or I lose my card. They resolve in like 45 seconds each time. Pro-tip: Finish your workout by 3pm on weekdays (or come after the evening rush). A bunch of local high school kids use the gym right after school, but they have to be home for dinner, so it all works out. Pro-tip 2: Don't use the locker room. Just don't, it's high school kid gross. Come dressed to work out and then leave. They have ALL the equipment you'd ever need.

If I could give them zero stars I would. My wife and I tried to cancel back in March of this year and we thought everything was fine. Four months later we found out they were charging our account still. We called management and couldn't get a hold of him. It took us two weeks and we still have yet to hear from this man. I go in person and tell them to cancel and they tell us we are still responsible for covering the last few months of gym membership! They have a 60 day cancelation policy (which we had already paid when we cancelled!) Saying that I was infuriated was an understatement. Very friendly staff, great plate loaded hammer strength equipment and plenty of benches and squat racks. Dumbbells and plates never re-racked correctly and nobody cares to organize. Lack of cable cross machines and handles, but you won’t wait long for one to open up. I’ve played sports at every level and have been going to different gyms across the country for nearly 20 years, and this Giant might have the grossest men’s locker room in the state. Being open 24 hours is awesome. Take the good with the bad and hold your nose in the locker room and bathroom.

Decent equipment and trainers are nice, but staff is otherwise isolated at front desk, which is separate from cardio and weight rooms, so there's no monitoring and no enforcement of rules.

Clientele is definitely on the meathead side, dude tonight was filming himself shirtless, tripod and everything, which I'm pretty sure is not permitted, but no one bothered to do anything. Lately there are dogs in the weight and cardio rooms. No idea how/why that's tolerated, but again, zero oversight.

It's conveniently located for me, otherwise I would look for another, less shady gym.

I’m currently a member here and I can’t wait to be completed. I’m almost ready to pay the ridiculous fee to end early . It’s always sooo hot in all the equipment rooms. I never got the one free trainer , that is included in package price . Even after I mentioned that I never received, still nothing. The tanning beds are falling apart and 7-8 bulbs are always out . They are never cleaned and trash is under the bed where you stand . And after a year they charge you additional $10.99 to your monthly amount. I wouldn’t mind paying that if everything I just spoke about wasn’t an issue . I used to love this place when it was 10$ a month and stuff was good . I wouldn’t recommend this place, I’m sorry I hate to have bad things to say but I would rather future customer too ow what o know now .

This is a good place for a fitness freak. The building includes gym with most equipment, isolated gym for women. It also has swimming pool with changing rooms and toilets, massage chair. Even a store for diet is in the building. Has lot parking space. Wheel chair accessible. Good location in Voorhees. A platinum plan give access to everything in the gym, you can bring a guest along with you to the gym.

Again, the cleanliness of the shower and pool leaves much to be desired. Half of the faucets in the shower didn't work. If you've filled in your items, you won't see them again. The staff is very friendly, the water in the pool is clean enough. There is almost always only one swimmer per lane, which sets this pool apart from many in the area. I wanted to cancel my membership due to bad conditions of the gym. They have a ridiculous policy that they squeezed in the agreement papers. If you want to cancel your membership You need to give them a 2 months notice. So you wont be charged for the upcoming 2 months that you will not use.

The staff asked me the reason of why I was leaving. I told them that there are no space to breathe on the second floor of the gym where all the fitness machines are located. They wrote a medical reason. The staff is lying about the reasons why people are leaving. Because they know that the management doesn’t care about the feedbacks.

The gym is dirty when I first started going I always saw the people cleaning, I was impressed. Now all I see is hair, dust and spiderwebs all over the place. The women's restrooms looks as if they don't even go in there anymore to clean. It's so sad how this place is falling apart. Not to mention we pay a yearly almost 70 for maintenance on top of the 30 a month, for the place to look the way it does. I have brought it up to the night staff how bad the upstairs smells they deadbolt the windows so you cannot even access fresh air. When I went back to the gym the next day their solution was to put out air fresheners instead of cleaning 🙃 I only stay because it's the only gym 24/7 due to covid. Plus the night time staff is very helpful positive and nice, the am staff make you not even want to come until they are leaving for the day. Some are very nasty and pick and choose who they wish to speak to, highly unprofessional.

ORIGINAL- Everything is ok till you want to cancel. I moved away from my club location and upon cancellation their 2 month cancel policy kicks in which I have no problem with I wanted to pay the 2months in full to fulfill my obligation. The problem came once they still wanted to pay maintenance fee which is obsurd if I canceled and pay my 2 months before new maintenance fee {almost 2 months away} is scheduled. I asked to speak with manager.. of course not here. They said we'll leave a message for him to call...never called.. every time I called back... Still not there and another message left for him to call now X's this by 3 and it's deliberately ignored. It's principal over money on this issue and as a business owner with one being a barbershop where I recommend them all the time my goal now is to NOT recommend them anymore. Cancelled my membership in March, paid the two month cancel in April as one lump payment instead of over two months, received paperwork told I was good. Confirmed this and spoke with the manager. I was reviewing statements, was billed May, June and July. Called was told I didn't cancel until May, and June/July were my two months cancel. LIVID. I know when I cancelled I know why I cancelled ( I got a new job that provided free gym I didn't need theirs I cancelled literally the day I got the new job IN MARCH ) I have the documentation bank account statement with the 2 months being withdrawn in April. How is this place trying to be this shady? And I hear this from so many people. Like its a $10 membership its not breaking the bank but be decent people.

My ONE complaint is the customer service. If they could get one person with actual experience to replace the 3 To 4 people in the front would be amazing. Most of them spend time on their personal laptops or talking/ laughing so loud to the point that if you even greet them first they see you and keep going on with their conversations, like blatantly ignore your existence. They are ruining one of the best gyms. When people take their job seriously they make the experience for the customer 100x better. I used to looked forward to going to giant when they had good people in the front. It felt like a serious place to be at where you could be ambitious about your body and life. These clowns don’t even know what basic respect is, the ambience feels so bad before you even start your workout.

Have been a member for years and when I decided to end my membership, I was informed they require 2 months notice and I would be charged for another 2 months even though I will not be using the facility. The staff wasn't the friendliest about it either. This gym is very disappointing. Dirty and bad air circulation. It's not well ventilated. Sad I'm paying 2 more months for NOTHING.

Froze my gym membership years ago due to lack of use, only froze for a couple months and then automatically reverted back to active. Was never informed that would be the case... Paid 1 years worth of membership fees for nothing that’s problem 1. The 2nd issue is after that I arrived IN PERSON (not by phone) at Voorhees to and sign the docs and formally canceled my membership.. 7 months later still being charged. UNACCEPTABLE… I am still waiting for my follow up since there was “no manager available” to address this matter.. No sense of urgency or ownership for their mistake.. their delay will compound the problem as well until they resolve it.

Nice gym I belong to the one in Mount Laurel. It was nice for a while but when I tried to cancel they still build my card for the past two years I tried to get them to stop my payments but they never did now I am in dispute with Jay and fitness poor management and won’t let you cancel the membership join another gym

Although the staff is super friendly and much of the gym from what I observed is clean and in decent condition, the pool was beyond disgusting! I took an intro to scuba diving class and once in the water it would make anyone cringe. What’s worse, you’re wearing a mask underwater and can see exactly why. Black sock lint, pieces of tissue, hair and unidentified floating objects. I loved the class but will never get into this pool again

I need to give a ZERO STAR review on how scummy Giant Fitness has been. They just won't cancel my membership. I've sent a letter, and called each month this year. Each time, with more frustration, I have been told every time a manager isn't available. I am told every time that a manager will call me back and handle it. This has been nothing but frustrating, to deal with a business that will just rob you each month. I am embarrassed for this company to need to do this in order to maintain memberships. I will never recommend or use GIANT FITNESS again..that is for sure.

Nice place, but… the manager is very rude.. the trainers are overly aggressive.. a place I was associated with account was not in good standing. The manager took his frustration on me, but he didn’t realize I had my own account.. because he didn’t know I had my own account, he was treating me as if I got caught stealing.. throwing curse words around, giving me commands as if I worked for him.. I’m going to cancel my subscription..

I love this gym more than any other. I would seriously move to this town just to have regular access to this gym. The women's area is amazing!!! There is everything you could really need for a good workout and more. There are literally 3 power squat pros in JUST the women's area, alone. I am definitely going to be getting a membership ASAP!!! ❤️

I used a free 3 day pass then hit on the first day an unavailable shower facility with no hot water. A member told the hot water hadn't been available for a period of time. It looks overall decades long unrenovated facility in an old building. You'll see in men's locker room old school 4' square wall tiles with cracks here and there, for example, at the poor level you'd see in no other fineness facilities around today. I also leaned that one of the staff didn't know the hot water issue, which shows the staff motivation issue for the facility maintenance.

Front desk doesn’t even know how to operate the water fountains in the facility. Not to mention there’s no air conditioning in the 2nd floors and everyone’s drenched and the stench 🤮 equipment is all brand new but what’s the point of the facility isn’t doing much to support it

I go to Giant Fitness. The gym is well kept including the pool area. I have never showered there so I cannot speak to the cleanliness of the showers. The locker room is clean. The weights and machines are not very old. There are plenty of machines, weights, ellipticals and treadmills. The only criticism I have is the fee per month which I believe is high. I am paying $21 per month. Planet Fitness still offers a $10 per month membership.

I've been to several Giant locations over the years -- been a member for quite a long time -- and although this one wasn't my favorite, they've recently added a "women only" room that is a nice option. Personally I don't mind working out around other men or women, but for many women I think the new space could be the difference between getting a workout in or staying home. I like it because it tends to be less crowded than the main rooms, so I can be more efficient. The staff is helpful and polite and it's as clean as any gym I've been to.

The gym has very shady business practices. Be very careful!! They closed during COVID and then closed the gym permanently but still charging the $50 annual fee. Managers and owners don’t respond to emails or phone calls.

Beware of this gym at least now that moved locations and bought the old ymca, the bathroom stalls in men’s bathroom has been broke for forever now the divider in stand up stalls can barely move , they have maybe one working water fountain l, but of course they have vending machines and stuff you can buy from them, swim practice kids running around all day, I had a bad feeling signing up and going to switch to the new edge fitness in January, seems like customer service went down the drain since this whole pandemic

We love Mackenzie's Karate located inside Giant Fitness Voorhees location. They have a great karate program and we attend every Tuesday and Thursday. The Giant Fitness center is also a great gym. They offer a good deal for gym membership month to month packages are available.

Had some issues cancelling and being charged extra an extra month after the 60 day cancellation notice, however the manager rectified the mistaken charge and issued a refund. Good gym, clean and has everything you need; just make sure you are aware of the cancellation policies and maintain your own personal records in case an issue arises.
