Jaden has been a regular at mini 1 & 2 classes before taking a long leave because of my pregnancy and child birth. Having been away for a long time, Jaden was anxious of going into a big pool again. I want to give a really big shout out to instructor Nicholas B, who have done an amazing job of easing Jaden back after the long leave - from crying to get out of the pool for the first 10 mins to having fun and engaging lesson (in the first lesson) and wanting to come back swimming to finally transition to mini 3 seamlessly in a really short span of time. Not only did Jaden overcame his fear of being in deep water (big pool) but he has transition well to being independent in the water with the teacher (Nicolas B) and was comfortable to do more during class! I was truly impressed and couldn’t be more appreciative for the help, patience, and understanding.

The staff here is really friendly and helpful. I also wanted to give a shout out to Ms Deji who was there to help ease Jaden in his first mini 3 lesson at the beginning (she’s a natural). Jaden also had a lesson with Ms Trinity who was really nice. Also, Mr Jahnier has been so helpful and informational with management! Our second child is now enrolled in the school and we can’t wait to start her soon. Thank you so much everyone !

My boys had a great experience here. I tried other schools for them initially but they still weren't comfortable in the water and didn't have the swim skills needed for being in the water. Within a few months here at Goldfish, my boys were extremely comfortable in the water and was swimming in the deep end with their friends and treading water. I highly recommend!

If your child is a brand new swimmer, this place will work for you. I was looking for a swim school with private lessons that could take my toddler to the next level. This was not it. While they offer private lessons, the instructors are not prepared to work outside the curriculum for a more advanced child. The pool is warm but it is incredibly crowded. Private lessons have barely half a lane to work with. Cancelling was difficult. Communication all around was challenging to even set up lessons. We switched to private lessons at our local y for a third the price and a less corporate, real experience.

There is not enough great things I can say about Goldfish of Livingston. We have been coming here since my daughter was a baby. The moment you walk in you feel welcomed and super comfortable. Anthony is amazing and helps out with anything and everything you need. Our instructor that we have now and had for a while is hands down the best instructor for us. Chiem, is patient, detailed oriented, he makes every lesson fun for the kids. He is knowledgeable and has a great smile! If you are looking for a great place to start your swim journey this is the pace! From the moment you walk in to the moment you are leaving Anthony is there to guide you! All the staff at this swimming school are incredibly friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Daniel, my daughter’s swimming teacher — at her very first 30-minute class, she spent 25 minutes sitting on the floor, too afraid to get in the water. Now, she’s excited for every lesson, willing to dip in and swim! Daniel’s patience and care have made such a difference in her confidence and progress.

There is no location like this one. Livingston has the most compassionate staff. . From the start Chiemezie was so welcoming and gave me so much pep talk when my little one was crying her first couple of lessons. He made sure to tell me I was not alone and always came in to speak to me. Ben who gave my child so much comfort and smiles recommended a path for us to make her comfortable in the water. His theory worked and I am so happy!!! MyDaughter loves the water and Caroline made that happen for her. She held her the first lesson and made sure so become friends with her and then started giving her lessons. She held her like another mother and whispered words of encouragement in her ears. My son sprained his ankle before coming to swim class Jahmier treated my son with the royal treatment. He elevated his leg and gave him coloring and an ice pack. I honestly wasn't sure if it was worth the price tag, but I have realized that there are so many uncompromisable things that they get absolutely right - the water cleanliness, the quality and friendliness of the teachers, the bathrooms and changing rooms, the attention and customer friendliness of the staff. My daughter has grown in confidence and has grown to like being in the water from being absolutely scared when she started. All in a few months here.
They have flexible rescheduling and cancellation policy which allows you to cancel even a few min before the class for a make up token. You can use makeup tokens to book a new class through the app or to book a family swim. They always have helpful staff at the front desk, quite a few activities for the kids (black board, aquarium, coloring, etc.). They give out Mr. Bubbles bath toys for free every week and the teachers know their students by name. Special call out to her teacher, Ms. Britany and Ms. Moriah who have both been outstanding. We will continue to spread the word about this great swim school.

My two kids have went here for about 4-years. We’ve always had a great experience. The team at the front desk have always been friendly faces and well trained to handle any question I’ve had. As for the instructors, we’ve had so many wonderful ones over the years. For anyone hesitant thinking their kids might not be ready…don’t be! There were multiple times when my daughter was little that she would cry and not want me to leave the pool area. But the staff is well trained to handle this, and they had extra staff who would jump in to give extra support to my daughter. Absolutely love this swim school. First came in 2018 when my daughter was only 6mos old. Returned when my daughter turned 6.5 years old and her brother was 4 years old. They have made my children uber comfortable in the water and amazing swimmers. My daughter especially has done well with her instructor Windely who has helped her become a pro level 1 swimmer. My son’s instructor Nickolas has been so patient and kind. I am glad to be a member of this swim school. I highly recommend it.

10/10. 100%. 5stars. However you want to write it, Goldfish Livingston are the best. The patience that they have with my autistic son is amazing, and he’s progressing through his lessons well having only joined in August. They go above and beyond to help him learn, and create an inclusive and supportive environment for him.
The lessons ensure children learn water safety, and differing skills, the environment is bright and clean and the team on the reception go above and beyond to answer what might be considered the most simple of questions. I really do recommend!

Best swim school ever created!

The facility is as clean as a whistle. The team is very fun, organized, and caring. The goldfish team really makes your child feel confident in the water. They put a lot of work into making sure that your child moves along the program.

There’s numerous instructors and lifeguards to make sure that there are no slip through the cracks during your child’s lessons.

I would give the an infinite amount of stars, if yelp allowed me for their customer service.

My two children have been going there for the past two years and my third child will soon attend also.

Goldfish thank you so much for your hard work and personal care for my children to be safe in the water. These skills you’ve taught them to swim independently are life changing and life saving.

We absolutely love Goldfish Swim School! Both of my daughters have been attending since they were just 6 months old—they are now 3 and 1 and it has been an amazing experience from the start. The front desk staff is incredible- Jahmier, John, and Anthony are always so welcoming, kind, and helpful. They know my girls by name, which makes it feel like such a personal and warm environment.

A special shoutout to their swim instructor, Mr. Nick who my girls absolutely adore! He is patient, engaging, and truly makes learning to swim fun for them.

The facility itself is always clean and well-maintained, with convenient changing rooms that make the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Most importantly, my kids genuinely love coming here, and as a parent, that means everything.

My daughter has been taking lessons here for three years now and she loves it! Always wants to go back.
Safety: Firstly, a shout out to unnamed heroes; life guards and deck supervisors for keeping our children safe.
Cleanliness: The facility is very clean, I saw even managers and supervisors doing house keeping, thanks to Marie and Amar.
Instructors: All of them are very friendly, and professional and enjoy and support my daughter’s progress in swimming styles as much as I do and do one on one when needed to improve her skills. And also have good tools to record and track her progress. Thanks to Amar, Steve, Brittney and Kaira.
Maintenance: This facility is almost always full so no wonder there has been times the equipments like swimsuit dryer, hair dryer break down. However, managers attend to the breakdowns as quickly as possible; thanks to Jahmier and congratulations on his well deserved promotion.
Front desk: Always helpful; listens and attends to our individual needs and offer classes that we don’t even know exist. Keep track of tokens for missed classes. App is a very convenient tool to schedule classes.

My daughter absolutely loves coming here. The instructors are so friendly - we are working with Kiara in Pro 2 right now. She always makes sure to provide updates on my daughter's progress. The instructors during make-up lessons (i.e. Trinity) get to know their students and make them feel at ease.

On Monday afternoon, I took my niece to her swim class. Initially, I was disappointed that her regular teacher wasn't there, but as the class went on, I noticed something amazing, She was no longer afraid of the water.
