KidStrong is tremendous. The activities are top notch and the coaches are outstanding. They go out of their way to instill confidence in the kids. It’s amazing. My son loves going each week and I do as well. My son is learning life lessons that he would not have learned elsewhere. I’ve played sports all my life and coach Men’s Rugby, there is no other program for kids that can compete with KidStrong.

I'm so impressed with KidStrong and how much my daughter enjoys her classes. The coaches are fantasticβ€”they're not just great with kids, but they're also very welcoming and easy to talk to. Every 45-minute session is filled with fun and positive energy, and they do an amazing job of keeping all the kids motivated and engaged. At the beginning of each session they do the affirmations like , I am Strong, I am Brave and I can do this !!! Which kids loves the most !!

The flexibility with rescheduling classes is a huge plus. I would definitely recommend it to anyone; just book a demo class and you'll see why! And yes, there is plenty of parking available. The next door is UPS, a few restaurants, grocery store, dance class and more!!

I signed up my son for kidstrong since they announced the opening, months prior of the opening. We have been going to kidstrong for almost 2 years now. My son loved it, he was confortable with many coaches, he loves coach Harmony and coach Rich. In the past few weeks there were a lot of changing to the staff. Unfortunately coach Harmony is no longer there, when my son found out he cried. It is extremely hard to find people that care and knows how to deal with children and coach Harmony and Rich are one of them. Very welcoming and knows how to entertain them. Its very disappointing to see many coaches that your child is used to not being there anymore. All the changes and also behavioral changes that are being placed are like having the children as robot. The classes now are looking more like Robotic vs children learning while having fun.
Too many changes lately. I hope membership prices doesn't change as well. πŸ˜’

The Coaches at West Windsor are absolutely amazing!! They do a great job encouraging the Athletes to be brave and fearless by trying new drills/physical activities, while still guiding them each step of the way with patience and assertiveness.

My children have a fun time here and they love seeing the same friends and Coaches each week. They personally get so excited when they get rewarded from their hard work - through Coaches Awards and by Ranking Up every 10 classes!

As a parent, I appreciate the sense of community here and the positive mantra they teach every session, "I am strong, I am brave, I can do this!"

You can truly see how it is a science-based program designed to help kids win at life.

11/10 would recommend KidStrong!!

Absolutely love this place!!! I have two boys a 6yr old and 2 1/2 yr old and we do the classes once a week. The toddler class we take with coach Alisha and coach harmony they are amazing with the little kids and even helping us parents out! Coach Erin and coach rich do the 5-7yr class for my older son and I love how they get them to focus so they are learning to do the moves right! We also love the camp!!! Only my eldest is eligible because they need to be potty trained but they do a lot with them and I personally feel at a very good cost! This place is worth every dime!!! Your kids will learn and thrive!!! They also have so many class times and options available that scheduling is never an issue and they are great with makeup days!

My daughter attended the trial class. She did not do well in it so we decided to not move forward with the membership. KidStrong started charging my account 129 dollars per month. When I told them that I did not authorize this they stated that I signed a form stating that I have to pay every month or β€œbuy it out” for the remainder of the membership. I had to call multiple times until they finally canceled it but would not refund me the money they took out of my account for three months. This place is a fraud and a terrible business. Please don’t fall into the scheme of a β€œtrial class” because they will start charging you and they will not refund you. Horrible horrible place.

Please don't send your child here. It's not worth the money you pay for the service you receive. The staff is not well-trained, the equipment is inadequate, and they are unwilling to help the kids. If children are sitting on the side or not participating properly, the staff doesn’t even bother to intervene.

I had a very bad experience. Despite requesting to discontinue the service, they put my account on hold and continued charging me. When I asked for a refund, they refused.

They claimed I needed to send an email to stop the service, but I had already informed them in person to discontinue it. They assured me everything was taken care of and didn’t ask for an email at the time. Now, they are demanding proof. Staffs inadequate knowledge will cost you more.

I was surprised to see so many other kids like my son who is on the spectrum! My son is 8 and nonverbal, and very much a sensory seeker so I knew he’d struggled with following directions in such a fun space! However the coaches adapted to his behaviors very quickly, and actually caught on to his personality faster than I expected. I’m happy to see my son apart of a group of kids with all different types of strengths and capabilities, the kids were very kind and patient with each other. The atmosphere was very welcoming and encouraging - for parents who want to focus on their kids sensory output or social skills outside the classroom, I think this gym is a great investment and very much worth a try :)

My son's strength and personality have both flourished since joining KidStrong. We have been attending classes basically since Bradyen could walk (at first not so steady on his feet) but the improvement he has made is astounding. He recites the Kidstrong affirmation several times on his own throughout the day and gets so excited when it's class day. He has come so far especially with his upper body strength being diagnosed with torticollis as an infant and having limited mobility, never crawling, and not really making any improvement during months of physical therapy. I can't say enough great things about KidStrong and how it lives up to its name. Brayden is so incredibly strong, confident and sociable and we owe much credit to the amazing coaches & staff. We look forward to continuing for many years!!

My 6yo loves classes here so much that he asked for a Kidstrong birthday party. Just one thing bugs me, and that's how loud the neighboring class is. Without any carpet, acoustic panels, or curtains present in the hall where the parents sit, the music and sometimes the coach's voices can be super distracting.

Otherwise, this place checks all the boxes for me in terms of a worthwhile exercise activity for my high energy but low endurance kiddo.

Kids strong is hands down the best. My son looks forward to going! He started his classes back when he was 15m old and he is now 22m. Kids strong has helped him adjust well to group settings. I love the mix they have in class, such as, talking about colors, numbers, obstacle courses, learning about animals and their emotions, free play, and competitions are always always fun! I love how the kids learn how to take turns and watch their little friends help them complete a challenge together, it shows them great team work! The coaches are awesome as well, they are so patient, supportive, and kind with the kids. 100/10 recommend, kids strong is a life style!! SIGN THEM UP!!! After signing up before the business opened I paid a 50 fee. We waited for a long time n they finally opened the end of last year. I asked about a refund and I was told I wouldn't be eligible for one because the facility was open however, i was told by coach sean I'd be able to get a refund. That was misleading and very unprofessional. Also we could hear the other children on the other side of the wall in their class, so it was very distracting to my child
We did a trial class (didn't receive a starter kit after the 50 fee was paid)but it seems like the coaches weren't really in control of the class. The structure of the class was also lacking . If you're looking to build confidence, strength, integrity, and discipline, coordination and development in your children karate is an alternative option (shout out to Amerikick).

P.S. Beware of the 1st statement in the manager's response ! Very unprofessional

Thank you to Coach Rich And The KidStrong Team.

As a CrossFit coach, I find Kidstrong is great for kids in developing their motor and psychological skills to take on the world with confidence. The programming is science based for the children’s age and the coaches do a great job warming children up to a new environment. The coaches are full of energy and treat all kids with patience and a positive attitude. You can tell the coaches love what they do and it shows! Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this center for gymnastics!! I enrolled my 4 year old and 7 year old
He was getting bored home , and we couldn’t be happier! We had so much fun in every class and I can’t wait to see how he excels in the class by himself . Coaches are awesome, very friendly with both my boys ❀️
Please enroll this facility
I assure you won’t regret!

The coaches are lovely and encouraging here, and the kids seem to enjoy the activities. Having said that, you should be aware that:
- The mental part of Kidstrong is a bit shallow -- consisting of mantras, some role paying, and a few moments of public speaking. It's OK, but wish there was more. This is not boy scout merit-badge type stuff.
- The doors to the building are motion-sensing and open automatically -- right into a busy parking lot. This made it harder to manage my kids and gave me some scares.
- They do have a 30 day cancellation policy, meaning if you cancel the day after your billing date, you'll be paying for 2 more months before they stop charging you.

All in all, this is a nice place, with good-hearted people. Your kids will probably enjoy it and get some exercise. But the program, policies and facility could use some improvement.

DO NOT SIGN UP AT THIS LOCATION! It is unfortunate bc the program has potential, but management at this location is awful, cheap, misleading, and provided terrible customer service. I feel bad for the coaches. They cut corners. Barely pay attention. Waste of money.

We are moving out of state and they still want to charge us. Stay away. Many better gyms and activities in the area..

UPDATED: Re: the owner’s response below β€”

1. There were at least 2 in-person discussions and 1 phone conversation in which we communicated that we were moving. In fact, I was told on the phone that moving was a valid reason for a refund of the 2nd month as long as proof of a new address was provided (which I did send).

2. What is even more telling of this location’s awful management is the frequency and number of poor reviews posted (just scroll down). Many of these reviews articulate the exact same issues (poor communication, unprofessional, poor service). It is ultimately my own fault for not reading more reviews about this location and recognizing this negative pattern.

3. Relying on deception to score another $150 from families with young kids, despite being called out on it multiple times by multiple families… that is a terrible business strategy. You should be ashamed.

Unclear Communication and Lack of Flexibility Lead to Disappointment at KidStrong

As a family who has supported KidStrong since May 2022, we were excited to finally enroll our children in their classes when they opened their doors in December 2023. While the initial class experience seemed positive, we encountered significant communication issues that resulted in an unexpected charge and overall disappointment.

Here's a breakdown of what happened:

* We signed our children up for KidStrong in May 2022 and paid for the initial month, demonstrating our strong interest in their program.
* Due to delays, the facility didn't open until December 2023.

Once they opened:

* We requested cancellation for one child during their first class.
* A hold was then applied with a fee, which we agreed to at the time.
* We received no communication about the hold expiring or the need to re-cancel if we didn't want the membership to continue.
* Due to this lack of communication, we were surprised by an automatic renewal charge.

We contacted KidStrong to clarify the situation and request a refund considering the missing communication, especially since we had been such early supporters. While they were prompt in processing the cancellation for the child who didn't attend classes, they were unwilling to offer any kind of refund for the recent charge or credit towards a future program.

Their stance seems fair based on their terms of service requiring written cancellation notices. However, considering the lack of reminders about the hold expiration and the automatic renewal process, we believe a more customer-centric approach, especially for early supporters like ourselves, would have been to find a compromise.

We hope this review encourages KidStrong to improve their communication practices and consider more flexibility for situations like ours to avoid similar experiences for future families.

Indifferent coaches and the same repetitive lessons. Even my child got bored because he was showing the same things. As an educator, I care about my child and I will not send him again. Even though I reported this, they are still trying to withdraw money from me. I cancel and they offer me conditions for the remaining two lessons. I had to sign up again. In my eyes, it's just a business. But it's a bad business!

Love, love, LOVE KidStrong for my kiddos... the facility, the curriculum, and especially the coaches and the pure love and energy they put in to instill confidence and positivity in every single student, and parent, they come across is a beautiful thing. We have seriously not come across one coach that we didn't love and hold in high regard, even having seen some recent newer additions to the coaching staff, they too didn't seem to miss a beat and are also positive and uplifting and seem to immediately and effortlessly meld right in to the whole philosophy of KidStrong... I think it is a testament to the dedication and pride Coach Alysha, Coach Brooke, and the rest of the team put in to training and teamwork at this location.

I do want to give special shout outs to Coach Joshua and Coach Harmony, who we have had the good fortune to have in almost every class (my daughter is in a 6 year old class and my son is in a 9 year old class). They have been so wonderful and encouraging to both my kids, and even though my son and daughter have different levels of motivation and interest in physical activity, they know how to approach each of them and are able to help them to have even more confidence to compete and complete challenges, and have so much fun doing it! They also always come over and greet them---even if they are working with another class, they make a point during a quick water break to come over and say hi to them, ask them about their days and give them high-fives... best of all, they always make my kids smile :) <3 And I've seen them do this with countless other kids as well, always calling them out by name and giving them encouragement. You can tell how real they are, and they are funny, and it is apparent that they are just having so much fun and really making the learning process and physical enrichment exciting and fun for the kids.

So kudos to KidStrong West Windsor and all of the coaches... you are all amazing and bring out the best in these kiddos. So glad to have found this facility :)

5/5...... my son who is 2.5 has been attending since day one of opening, all I have to say is that all of the coaches are fantastic with kids and my son is always excited to attend his classes. not to mention that he has become more confident with social, verbal and physical skills. over time he has come out of his shell which is a big deal. he also loves to play pretend he is at kidstrong when he's at home and at the playgrounds. overall I highly recommend kidstrong and again absolutely all the coaches are phenomenal at their jobs and I am very grateful for the program.

Although there were negative reviews when it first opened, the place has improved a lot and has been well managed since at least last month. The coaches are full of energy and treat all kids with patience and a positive attitude. I would like to give a shoutout to all the coaches here who make this place so great. We plan to keep coming to this place and bringing younger siblings here when they grow older.

As any brand new place, there tweaks to be made, but they are very open to your suggestions... don't be afraid to just verbalize your suggestions or criticisms to them.

They are exactly what they advertise to be. Personally, they give my kid a little structure, a safe place to explore and expend energy they respect her space but also welcome and encourage her to push her boundaries, and bonus, for my daughter's age I have to be on the floor, so I get a little movement for a day haha.

This place is running SUCH a SCAM! I was in contact with them in 2021 to enroll my child and they assured me that I wouldn't be charged until we had started classes. They took forever to open so I enrolled my child in taekwondo (which is so amazing, so grateful for it!) and it turns out that they tried to charge my card $238 twice without notifying me! Thank God that card had expired as none of the charges had gone through. If you are confident in your product then there is no reason to try to swindle people! Especially parents who are trying to do their best for their little ones! SHAME on you!

I am so grateful that we found KidStrong West Windsor for my son! The coaches are all incredible and adapt seamlessly to each child's individual needs. My son has special needs and currently uses sign language to communicate. Coach Brooke and Coach Alicia have gone out of their way to start learning some ASL so that they can understand what he is saying. They truly take the time to get to know each child so that they can provide individualized attention and meet them where they are at, while still gently pushing them and helping them to improve. I am so impressed with the level of inclusion and their ability to accommodate everyone while providing a challenging and engaging class that teaches a wide range of important skills. Thank you so much for an incredible way to help my son grow and thrive!

I am extremely impressed with how the coaches have tried to motivate and help my son within the classes. My son has severe social anxiety and does not always want to participate in the activities but the coaches have been amazing! They try to look at the little successes that he is making vs. saying he doesn’t belong. They take his lead on things and give TONS of positive reinforcement. If it weren’t for the coaches that we have met and interacted with , we probably would have had to really think about if this was the right fit for him to stay. The activities always are engaging and I love how they give the kids the opportunity to build their confidence. Coach Alicia has always gone out of her way to say hello to my son the second he walks through the door. She remembers his name and gives a high five to him with each success he has. Coach Victoria has been nothing but sweet and encouraging as he goes to complete tasks. Coach Emily always comes over to say hello and how impressed she is with how far he has come in a few short weeks, and Coach Helen has been nothing short of amazing. She pushes him when he needs to be pushed, but always makes sure he is comfortable and feels safe. She gives him his space but still stays close enough to help him when he needs it. I really recommend this location to anyone who is unsure. The people here are amazing. The facility is clean and beautiful and the activities that are planned each week have the kids excited to be there and be apart of it!

I love kidstrong for my children. My daughter is a little shy to try new things. I was shocked when she jumped right in and gave 110% during the first class. The coaches are great and give time to students who need a little extra help. They keep everything 100% positive and give a little bit of extra time/encouragement to kids who need extra help. I love that there are cardio and strength training elements presented in a fun way. The best part is that they have activities that promote confidence and interaction, such has a handshake greeting (with eye contact) and public speaking elements. Im so happy kidstrong is in our town!

This not very well organized and coordinated. The coaches need more training. The activities need more work as they can be more competitive and confidence building. This program seems like put together in a hurried way as it can be made so much more effective and better organized.
