Anthony helped me transform my life and body — twice. He taught me the fundamentals of lifting and nutrition and put lifting and nutrition together as a complete package. I had been to many gyms and trainers, that would get me a good workout for the hour I was there, but didn’t address the important work that needed to be done when I left the gym (ie food shopping , food prep, tracking , nutrition ).
Once I finally got a handle on the nutrition and food tracking, the results came quickly.
Anthony’s depth of knowledge is incredible, yet he stays humble and modest.
And his wife Karen deserves major credit. She taught me everything about food tracking, macros, and how to live a healthier lifestyle. Her strategies and simple swaps were game-changing. Slowly, we replaced my bad habits with good ones until it became second nature.
I’ve tried every trainer, every gym, every diet, and every exercise plan you can imagine. Nothing else worked. This is the only program that delivered real, sustainable results. I trusted the process — and it worked.
I went from 30% body fat down to 10%, while adding muscle I never believed I could build. I used to blame “bad genetics,” but the truth is I just never had a good plan, a good teacher, and consistency.
Anthony believed in me before I believed in myself, and he proved me wrong in the best way possible.

Joining LFTD has been a game-changer! In 5 weeks on the Nutrition and Strength Program, I’m down 7 pounds and seeing muscles I didn’t even know I had. Anthony is an incredible coach, a cross between a physiology teacher and cheerleader who makes sure every movement is done right. Karen, who runs the nutrition portion of the program, is as knowledgeable as she is inspiring. She makes sticking to the nutrition portion of the program easy by making sure we understand not just what to eat, but why we eat it and why the timing is important. Couldn’t recommend more!

I started my journey at LFTD because of extreme back pain I was experiencing from a rare spinal deformity. Being only 25 years old, the pain and swelling in my legs was inhibiting every single aspect of my life and I definitely knew I had to get a real handle on it being this young with this much pain. From my first call with Karen, I already knew the energy was going to be something positive for me. Anthony and Karen’s warmth, knowledge, encouragement and ability to create such a fun and genuinely enjoyable atmosphere makes LFTD one of the best decisions I have ever made. I completed the 6 month program (I would continue longer if it weren’t for a few life changes) and can honestly say my life quality has improved so much. From the community aspect that still feels one-on-one to the laughs and pushing myself when I didn’t think I could do it, this experience is something I would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to change their life. Due to life changes, I began commuting an hour each way twice a week and when asked by my friend why I couldn’t just pick a place closer to me, I said I knew nothing would serve me in this same way or top the experience I had while here and it wouldn’t be with these same people! I am an extremely opinionated person and really, I have something positive and negative to say about most experiences, but I can honestly say this was 10/10 for me.

I’ve been working out all my life but once in a while I need a push and try to find a class or trainer for a few months to mix it up. I found LFTD and not only did I find a big push within the workouts, but I learned so many exercises and different training routines to help me when I’m on my own. Bodhi by Anthony came into my life when I needed their services the most.
I needed to lose a few pounds, but I'm nursing a wounded paw. The team helped me with some important stretching I could handle but my brain needed a nutrition & lifestyle reeducation to help me beat Diabetes and be prepared to strengthen my body. I was temporarily in a wheelchair and Karen ran over to bring me a container of protein powder shake mix. This helped contain my sugar reading swings but I needed more intervention with my diet. Karen & I surfed the web to find a program that meets my needs. In just a few days, my Devon readings are at a consistent in range that I haven't seen ever in 10 years as a diabetic. Now I’m 2 weeks into this shift in lifestyle. I’m walking a whole lot better, Anthony is building back my strength, we are discussing how to maintain this progress when I travel on business.
Life is complicated. I knew I was not going to succeed by myself. Karen and Anthony really care about their clients and in a few short months I'm in a direction I thought I'd never see. My Endocrinolgist was happy surprised at my levels and thinks this direction will absolutely impact reducing my very high A1C.

I started at LFTD back in July. I thought that I could do fitness myself, but have had back issues, so guess the "by myself" thing wasn't working. I came to the realization that I needed some supervision. I nervously made the phone call. Allyson is an amazing person who was so patient and helpful. She set me up and then I made that long walk into the gym, because I was nervous.
I have to say this not a stereotypical gym at all!!! It truly is a community of people. By keeping the groups small, you get one-on-one coaching to make sure that you are using proper form and keep you motivated. You are given a personal workout. Who does that? That requires monitoring and an investment on the part of the coaches in your personal fitness journey.
When you combine this personal investment, via individual workouts with trainer help, with all of the resources available via their online program and nutrition support, LFTD Fitness is truly an incredible place.

Joined about 2 months ago and have been loving it! Super friendly group, both the trainers and the people who take the classes. They don't overload the classes which is great because the trainers can actually pay attention to each person and if they're doing the right thing/have the correct form. Have already built a lot of muscle and lost some weight, so far so good!

Took a chance on something new for me, and for me...that's huge. I only wanted help with nutrition as I already had a workout schedule. At my age (never mind the #) I was coming to accept limitations, increased aches and pains, decreased agility. I figured, it happens. I had just been through months of physical therapy, so I felt like I was good-ish physically. Anyway, meeting with Karen and talking about nutrition was a scary prospect but I stayed open-minded. Karen knows her shizzle and she is not a faddist, she's not pushing shortcuts or supplements as a secret, or anything extreme. She isn’t about cutting out foods forever – she’s about how you think about food and how you approach it. She is about health on the inside. The outside will follow suit and that’s what I wanted. I had to make changes in the way I thought, in the ways I interpreted health, and that’s not easy because I thought I knew best for me given what had worked in the past. Karen was WAY more patient with me than I was. I just had to be willing. Progress was a bit slow (to me) but steady and somewhat shocking (in a good way). Karen had no doubts which was helpful for someone who did.
But I don't want to skip this part: Part of signing up was meeting with Anthony which I was NOT looking forward to. I already HAD my exercise routine given my available time and I didn’t need this muscle champ telling me different. So, I met with him and ok, he was way more laid back than I expected. He listened, he assessed, we laughed and then…. he put together some simple routines just for me, just twice a week to start, not a long time at all. Just to try. And I did try and soon, I was seeing and feeling and thinking differently.
Ok this is way too long now. As I told Anthony, I started the program with managed expectations about aging and what I needed to accept and then discovered I was very, very wrong. I did lose weight but not just that – I feel stronger, more energized, healthier. And did I tell you I feel stronger? I shizzle you not. I do not feel “my age”. I am grateful, hopeful, and more optimistic – and that’s coming from a cynic.
Listen I’m not saying this is the key to “happiness” (I’m not crazy.) but all that stuff about “when you have your health, you have everything” is true. Makes the day and your outlook a lot brighter. Thanks ‘Ka’ and thanks ‘Ant.’ Super psyched about how I’m feeling. How I’m looking is icing on the cake. (Yum, cake.)
PS. All of this was done remotely, and all my workouts are done at home. That’s what works for me. They worked with my lifestyle. If you don’t think it’s possible, it is.

I have been training and watching my nutrition for as long as I can remember. After knee surgery I had lost motivation and gained a fair amount of weight. I knew what I needed to do having been a trainer myself, but couldn’t seem to break out of this new normal. I reached out to Anthony and he set me up on a new training schedule and a balanced, goal-centered nutrition plan. Having this accountability and encouragement was exactly what I needed. But more than that it was the knowledge and mind set him and Karen brought to the table that was the real key to my success. I started looking at my nutrition and the way I eat in a whole new way because I wasn’t just following a mindless “diet”. They made me understand the “why” and the actual science behind it. It’s been less than 1 year. I am down 43 lbs. and I am walking around comfortably at 7% body fat. The great thing is am not suffering, nor do I feel deprived or hungry. Anthony and Karen are the coolest! I started off just attending a 7 week self defense course here. I loved the energy so much that I decided to take a chance doing nutrition with Karen. As a competitive powerlifter, and really just for anyone that exercises, nutrition is key! I don’t trust many people with nutrition nor do I really feel comfortable working with many people. Karen changed that for me. She helped me work through negative thoughts and really get my eating back on track. I joined bodhi April 18, 2018. It was the best decision I have ever made. I can now say 16 months later they have helped me lose 105 lbs. Weight-loss is a scary thing but the trainers made me feel comfortable right away and never stop encouraging me . I have been taking yoga classes at bodhi. I recommend them for anyone considering it. The staff are all great and very involved with and concerned about the students. The room is smaller and more intimate and facilitates connections and discussion with other classmates. There are different class options for people at different levels.

The yoga and Pilates classes at bodhi are great! The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly, the studio is welcoming, and all of the equipment is clean. I’ve been attending the yoga and Pilates classes for two months, and I have no plans to stop. I recommend giving a bunch of classes a try. Some of my favorite classes are the ones that I initially thought I wouldn’t enjoy.

I walked into bodhi almost a year ago (March 2017). I was obese, diabetic, about to turn 60, and not very happy about it all. Sure, I’m good at my job and happy about that. But my health was slowly circling the drain. I had trouble getting out of bed, getting out of my car, and even putting on socks! I met with Coach Christine and, too self-conscious to waddle into a group class, signed up for one-on-one training. A few months (and pounds) later, Christine told me I was ready for group class, and so I went. I quickly discovered that bodhi is more than a gym; it’s a community. It’s a family. Everybody accepted me and encouraged me and inspired me! We are all on this journey together!! Now I’m 85 pounds lighter and no longer diabetic. On the front window, it says, “body transformation specialists.” That only says half of the story. It should say, “LIFE transformation specialists”! I absolutely and literally owe my life to Coach Christine and Coach Anthony and Coach Alex and Coach David and Coach Karen and even Coach Cheech! And to all my friends who work out with me and encourage me and inspire me!

I have been interested in training and bodybuilding my entire adult life. I retired 6 years ago after a 30+ year business career as a Senior Executive. In late 2016 I decided I would like to enter my first bodybuilding show (albeit at age 59.5). In April '17 I sought out Anthony's professional advice and expertise to help me learn the bodybuilding poses. At our first session he reminded me of the importance of a proper diet and nutrition. Enter his lovely wife Karen. No pressure on her ("LOL") as we were 6 weeks from the show and I was a "blocky" 224 pounds; fast forward to the show and I was down to 206.5. No reason to stop now with another show in NYC coming in 6 more weeks. In late June I competed in my second show at 195.5 (down another 11 pounds) and once again finished in the top "5". The importance of my story is not the bodybuilding stage but the positive impact to my health and well-being. No longer pre-diabetic; no longer border line high blood pressure; and today crossed the 30 pound weight loss mark since mid-April. I cannot give higher resounding praises to Karen and Anthony for their consummate level of professionalism, positive motivation, and expertise in the fitness and nutrition field. If you want to change your outlook on life and your health I would highly recommend you pay them a visit.

I am a Chiropractic Physician that specializes in Sports & Orthopedic Medicine. Needless to say, fitness is a vitally important part of my day-to-day work in the office – but it is also an integral part of my everyday life. The first experience I had with Bodhi was when one of the co-founders, Anthony, came out onto the street and suggested to me, a stranger, to stop in the next day for a running seminar. He explained that he had seen me running by many times before and thought this would be something I could benefit from (I live across the street and had run marathons prior). I came to the seminar, tried a test class, and then joined as soon as I could. From the brief exchange with Anthony on the street, then at the seminar, and through all the classes, workshops, and events since I can always immediately feel the endless passion and compassion Anthony and Karen along with the whole team at Bodhi have for assisting you to achieve your fitness goals by supporting the full person in mind, bodhi, and soul. I have come to know both Karen and Anthony. They are both experts in their field and in addition, they are the nicest, most compassionate people. I started taking small group fitness classes earlier this year and now I take the Pilates class. Every employee at bodhi is also very knowledgeable and as personable and attentive as Karen and Anthony. I began my own health journey alone over a year ago and it has meant a lot to me to get to know Karen and Anthony who have helped keep me on track. I also took Karen's supermarket tour and cooking class and both gave me valuable information. I truly believe that if I want to live a healthier life, I need to surround myself with positive, healthy, fit people and that is what Karen and Anthony bring to my life.

Bodhi has been the only gym that I have consistently attended and actually enjoy and look forward to going to. Everyone there, from the trainers to the nutrition coaches, are so supportive and encouraging. They are all so knowledgeable and are always willing to offer their advice on anything you need to know about health and fitness. I love that they will personalize each workout to accommodate your individual needs, such as an injury you may have. There is just so much positive energy surrounding you that you can't help but be in a great mood while you are there! Not to mention, all of the people that work out at Bodhi are pretty awesome, too!

Where to begin? There are not enough words I can use to describe Bodhi. I started coming to attend small group training sessions back in November and within 3 months, I was down 12 lbs, able to run my fastest timed mile and actually have muscle tone. Now that its now been 6 months that I have been going, I am even stronger, much more confident and happier than ever. I love the way I look and get excited about each and every week where I know there is going to be something new to learn and more challenges. Great facility for mind and body. Always leading by positive example, the coaches at Bodhi inspire, educate, and push the members. The small group training classes allow you to get to know fellow members, encourage friendly competition, and learn proper technique. Unlike larger gym classes, the small classes (10 people max per class) allow for individual attention from coaches who correct form and ensure that you fully understand what you are doing in order to prevent injury. What I also appreciate, is that there isn't a minimum of members required to run a class - so classes can range from anywhere from 1 person to 10 people depending on the day. I'd say on average (in my experience) the classes typically range from 5-7 people, which is great.
Overall, Bodhi is a great, supportive community of people who are all in pursuit of living happy and healthy.

I have been working with the experts at Bodhi for over 6 months now. They have helped me with flexible dieting which I found extremely easy to fit into my 12 hour workday.
