I had a deeply distressing experience at the Life Time gym in Princeton, NJ on 11/25/25 around 7:30 pm that left me feeling publicly humiliated, unsafe, and completely disrespected as a paying member. I was finishing an important phone call in a very low tone as I walked into the women’s sauna when another female member suddenly approached me and began yelling at me aggressively in front of multiple women. Her tone was not a simple request for quiet, but demeaning and degrading, as if she had authority over me or I was beneath her.
I did not yell back or threaten her, I only calmly told her she was not my boss and had no right to speak to me that way. Despite this, the interaction became extremely hostile and humiliating, especially given the vulnerable setting and the number of witnesses.

What made this experience even worse was how the staff handled it. A female supervisor came over, and instead of approaching the situation neutrally or listening to my side, she immediately treated me as if I were the problem. She refused to hear my account of what had happened and told me to leave the premises immediately while I was still in my towel, making me feel like a criminal rather than a long time paying member.
At no point did anyone acknowledge that I had been loudly yelled at and degraded by another member. Instead, I was blamed and dismissed by the very person who should have been ensuring a safe, respectful environment. The entire experience was emotionally upsetting and has seriously damaged my sense of safety and comfort at this club.
I am sharing this review so other potential members especially women understand how profoundly mishandled this situation was.
No member should be screamed at in a shared space and then treated by staff as if they are the offender when they try to stand up for their basic dignity.

Today is the final straw. I come to LT to use the gym, but I mainly come for the AMP classes. I have complained about the bikes to management before and nothing is ever done. All the bikes need service - they are loose, things don’t clip correctly, sometimes the pedals don’t let me clip my shoes in. AMP is so intense that it’s easy to hurt yourself. Add in faulty equipment? It’s a disaster waiting to happen.

And that disaster actually happened tonight to me. The actual BIKE PEDAL broke off causing my knee to buckle, my leg to hit the floor, and I fell forward and hit my chest. Of course, there were no managers at the gym able to speak with me after I immediately asked for one. Jenna, the cycle manger, is also never there and when I made prior complaints to front desk about bikes, I was told she would reach out. Well…she never did. I sent an email to her again and the general manager because this is so clearly negligent. You are teaching classes on faulty bikes and YOU KNOW the bikes have issues and you are not fixing them.

The bike pedal would not come off and they were able to get two technicians to work on my shoe for a while until finally they got the pedal off my peloton shoe.

Let’s see if LT actually responds to my email and if they’re finally going to service ALL 50 bikes inside the studio.

(Also this has nothing to do with the coaches, which I consider many of them as friends. This has everything to do with management/the cycle management.)

Just a heads up to anyone going to this gym Be very careful with your belongings. ☠️☠️☠️

I accidentally left my purse in a locker, and after a little more than a day, I went back to ask about it. Turns out, it was hidden in the housekeeping room in the back.

My wallet, with all my contact information, was inside the whole time.

When I asked the front desk, they said housekeeping didn’t have anything.

I even went to the housekeeping room myself, and they also denied it.

Later I found out they were keeping it hidden and even tried to say it had been there for over a week, and that they were about to get rid of it, when in reality it had only been about a day and a half.

I only got it back because I happened to talk to someone I personally knew from housekeeping. Thankfully, everything was still inside, including my ID.

Just a warning
keep an eye on your things.

Unfortunately, not everyone there is honest, and this isn’t the first time, I’ve lost smaller items the same way.

I came from another location because I moved, and this was the closest . Very, very very crowded! No parking and classes are always full. They do offer a lot but they over sold and made a big deal with medicare so it’s quite crazy how many people are going. Not many options for me other than the NAC . I made the switch and now see less ugly Electric cars. 😉

Music way too loud, no one wants to listen to it so turn it down. All the other lifetimes don’t have the music this loud. This lifetime needs drastic changes, more benches is a must. Can never find a bench to do my workout!

*Overcrowded and not worth high premiums. .. forget about actually using the pool due to swim lessons.. This gym has turned into a giant day care center and swim school.. not a gym anymore

The pool area should always be available to members instead of lifetime trying to upsell and squeeze more money for swim lessons. Members pay a premium each month and can’t even access the pool.

The pool area is total chaos and the gym holds swim lessons and swim team from 4-8 Monday to Friday. With no lanes for other people. If you come during the day to swim or after 8.. you also can’t get a lane or have to share a lane with many other people. There is never a time to actually enjoy your swim workout.

The aquatics director is not friendly and has little concern for the actual gym members who would like to access the pool.

There are unattended children in the hottub under 10 that the parents put in there then leave. The signs states above 16 only. The lifeguards walk by and say nothing..

**There are always naked women in the hottub sauna and steam room. (Against gym policy.) Yes this is a gym not a bath house. I mean no swim suit!!

The classes are always booked.. forget about actually joining a class to get fit. The gym floor is constantly overcrowded with teenagers and even children.

Since the new manager showed up, we got shiny stickers on the dumbbells—meanwhile the gym itself is falling apart. Floor etiquette is MIA: too many members ignoring basic hygiene, wearing flip-flops on the weight floor and street shoes into the sauna. Accessories keep vanishing faster than the already-impossible-to-find cleaning wipes. Even trainers acknowledge the layout is a mess—we need more leg curls and leg extensions (the Life Fitness ones), while the Technogym units are chronically down (I salute the awesome maintenance guy, keeping you busy). Fix the basics first, then celebrate the stickers. For context, the gym was well managed in the past, not sure what's the hold up. Yes, it's crowded, can be dirty but the most infuriating is it's not well kept, get enough accessories so at least we don't artificially inflate the wait time everywhere...Come on you can do better!

Update 0n 08/07/25 Another week and another evening that the outside pool deck will be closed to members starting 5 pm. This time the notification was sent the same morning???? Why close the lap pool for at least 3hours for a Zumba Party?? Why dont you close the whole gym? Let the swimmers swim. Lifetime has total disregard for members swimmers; they can close the whole pool, take any lanes, randomly with no notice at any time; they do it all the time.

Just want to say what a good Carmen does with keeping the women’s locker rooms super clean. When I step in, I immediately know that Carmen is there that day (without actually seeing her there) because the floor is shining clean. She does the showers early and it is the same thing - not a blemish. She is an outstanding worker and always so nice and friendly with everyone.

edit 07/23/2005 and what is up with unscheduled random private lessons at 7:30 pm in the crowded outdoor lap pool, when is full of members waiting patiently for the dolphin summer team to finish the second of their 2 hour daily practice to be able to do some laps outside before closing?

Also thanks to the early morning front desk staff; they are always so friendly and welcoming.

edit 07/2025 what is up with closing the outdoor lap pool an evening each week from 5 pm to closing time for swimming meets? Anyone else feels is a bit too much on top all all the other team activities going on which effectively close all the pools that evening during those peak hours (indoor leisure and lap pool are also fully occupied by teams and lessons)? This is a facility that requires extra payment; teams should limit themselves to indoor pools and let the members enjoy the outdoor lap pool w/o limit.

Just want to mention the good job the morning operations team is doing with the locker rooms which are always very clean. Good job Pam, Winnie, Chenille, Carmen, Monica, Tisha and anyone else that I don’t know personally that gets up to be there at 4 am and have the locker rooms clean and neat for all the morning athletes. It’s a great facility but the staff are lacking. Today I was waiting on a squat rack and noticed a personal trainer holding two racks with their bag and their customer’s bag. When they were done with the squat rack, they left their stuff there and went and did other machines on the workout floor, hogging two squat racks for no reason. Not to mention this was during the ALPHA class which already takes up half the racks.

I've been a member here for a little over 8 months, and it's a beautiful space to workout. Unfortunately, just like every other gym, it gets very crowded and you have to wait or alternate your exercises or go when it's not crowded to get a workout in. This would be find for a 20-40 a month membership, not $240. The outdoor pool is a wonderful perk for this club; however, it's only open a few months out of the year. Equipment is typically repaired and fixed same-day, so there is no real issues with down equipment. All in all, it's not worth the price based on how crowded the workout floor gets (and I go around 12-3pm)

Don’t workout here unless you want pink eye, there are never any wipes to clean the machines. Even when there are people don’t do it.

I’ve also seen biohazards in the bathrooms on numerous occasions. And everything is covered in dust.

Figures because I never see anyone walking around the fitness floor cleaning/helping. God forbid anyone gets hurt, how would any staff know?

Front desk and class instructors are great. Other than that if you need anything while you’re upstairs (wipes, hello) you won’t find any staff up there. You’ll have to go down to the front desk. Very unprofessional. Even Princeton Fitness and Wellness have people walking around wiping, vacuuming, etc. might have to go back there soon.

So sad I have to write this review. I’ve been a member for about 4 years now and had to cancel my membership after being consistently underwhelmed over the past year. The prices have increased without any improvement in the facility. I pay over $200 a month and once upon a time, I was able to justify that price. However, the facility has gotten dirtier and the sauna/spa area is always closed for some renovation without any reimbursement in the monthly price. Being able to use the sauna and hot tub after my workout is extremely important to me but there has been no update on when those amenities will be available again and absolutely no adjustment in monthly fees. The majority of trainers that were exceptional have left, some staff members seem sad to be there. Today, on a Saturday morning all the toilets were extremely dirty in the women’s bathroom on the second floor. So disappointing. I try not to leave such a negative review and hate do to it but enough is certainly enough.

Exceptional Experience with Rocio at Lifetime Salon!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lifetime Salon, where Rocio cut both my hair and my son’s hair. I cannot recommend her enough! Rocio’s skill and attention to detail are truly remarkable. My son, who can sometimes be nervous about haircuts, felt completely at ease with her. She made the experience fun and comfortable for him, and his haircut turned out perfect! I’m not a member, but I wanted to point out that members of this gym continually run the 3-way stop signs at the gym’s entrance. I’ve seen it almost every time I pass through. I called the gym’s front desk and they told me “there was nothing they can do about it.” What they can do is gently inform their members so that no one gets badly injured or killed at that intersection. Clearly, they don’t care.

Leaving a review only for the kids swimming lessons at lifetime. Swimming lessons here are a joke. Worst makeup policies ever and no consistent communication. We had a different substitute teacher every week with no consistent teaching. Super disappointed to see my daughter being carried across the pool when she can already swim. Seems like a complete water of time and money to take swim lessons here.

We joined back in 2018, and it was great. However, since the pandemic things have been hit or miss. People and facility are selling points. Kids academy is great for families. Our kids also took swim lessons (Morgan is wonderful!)

The not so great is the rising rates.

Our club was designated onyx, now diamond. I'd like to know exactly what extras came with that price bump.

I also don't like the fact that they started charging for outdoor pool access. It's part of the club; it should be included for everyone (unless they offer some kind of discount for not wanting to use the outdoor pool.)

Came as a guest. Used to be 50.00, now its 80.00. The facility is nice but not worth the money as I’ve heard memberships are 220+. The worst part was there was annoying music playing the entire time and its playing everywhere, in the gym, the lobby, the cafe, the pool, and even the locker rooms and bathrooms. I had a massive headache by the end of the day because I literally could not escape it! Its like a dance club prison. Not worth the money, just go to the YMCA.

I asked this girl Gianna a simple question at the front desk and she snapped at me. I always see her talking to her phone. This does not seem very professional. Lifetime please hire more professional people. I understand they are young and in college but this is not an excuse. However, if you do not want to help people or think paying customers are bothering you and would rather talk at your phone get a different job. I find it incredibly rude how this continues to happen and management allows this.

Source: Google

I like working out here, but the staff barely lifts a finger when it comes to enforcing the rules. I can't tell you many times I see people hogging machines looking at their phones, which keeps others from using them. Also, you have other members on the treadmills, bikes, and elliptical talking loudly on the phone, not giving a damn about how it bothers others. And yet the staff does nothing about it. It's a shame -- it's a good, clean gym, but it's rapidly becoming just like the other gym chains that just want to sign new members up as rapidly as possible, but the long-time members who follow the rules are left out in the cold.

I am compelled to update my previous review due to the continued and unabated toxic environment at lifetime’s pickleball courts. It’s disheartening to report a stark degradation in sportsmanship and management oversight. Here’s what you need to know:

1. Manipulation of Tournament Rosters: Some players are shamelessly tampering with tournament rosters to skew DUPR ratings in their favor. This blatant gaming of the system is unsportsmanlike and ruins the competitive integrity of the sport.
2. Verbal Altercations: The courts are rife with hostility, with players frequently shouting at each other over not getting to play with preferred partners. Such behavior not only disrupts the game but also creates a hostile and unwelcoming environment.
3. Refusal to Play: The audacity of some players who refuse to play after seeing their opponents is appalling. This not only shows a lack of respect for fellow players but also robs others of their right to play and enjoy the game.
4. Lack of Management Intervention: What’s most alarming is the passive stance taken by the management. By turning a blind eye, they are complicit in fostering an environment where such toxic behavior flourishes unchallenged.

I urge management to step up and address these issues immediately. Until then, I recommend all prospective members to consider this a serious red flag.

——- end of update——

I am appalled by the recent developments at this gym. Despite initially joining with the expectation of enjoying inclusive pickleball court access as part of my membership, management has implemented a new system where additional fees are required for court time.

This move reeks of greed and a complete disregard for the needs and expectations of loyal members. Instead of fostering a sense of community and fair play, they have chosen to prioritize profits over integrity. It’s shameful that they would exploit the popularity of pickleball to squeeze even more money out of their members.

Imagine joining a gym with the expectation of enjoying open play on the courts, only to discover that a select group of elitists have taken control and are calling all the shots. It’s outrageous! These WhatsApp cartels have effectively turned what should be a fun and inclusive activity into a game of favoritism and exclusion. And if you think management would step in and put a stop to this nonsense, think again.

This blatant disregard for fairness and inclusivity is unacceptable. As a result, I can no longer recommend this gym to anyone seeking a supportive and equitable fitness community. Until management takes concrete steps to address these issues and prioritize the needs of all members, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I have been a member of LT in Princeton for just over a year now. I have never seen a more complete or beautiful exercise facility in my life (and I have belonged to many).

After joining, my wife and I began exploring the many activities offered. We have taken ballroom dancing classes, yoga classes and she has taken Zumba classes. There are aerobic exercise machines, weight machines, free weights, pilates, and classes involving both.

During the summer months we took full advantage of the outdoor pool. The club also has an indoor pool and there is a hot tub in the indoor pool facility as well as a hot tub, sauna and steam room in both the men's and women's locker rooms.

The club has a spa with a complete menu of spa services including massage, and there is a cafe which has a wonderful menu of salads, sandwiches and snacks and is also used by many members as a lounge.

There are many other activities available, but many of the reviews here address the pickleball program.

I had never played pickleball prior to joining LT. The club offered a free intro class, and after I took it, I was hooked. Under the guidance of the pickleball professional who has regrettably been singled out for criticism here (extremely unfairly in my opinion), the program more than tripled in size in less than a year. As a result of that incredible growth, it became increasingly difficult to schedule court time - more than 400 people accessing three courts, one of which is occasionally used for group and private lessons.

Perhaps no-one will be surprised to learn that there have been a catalog of abuses by members, which deprived other members of equal access to the courts. The club administration and the pickleball professional have gone above and beyond in trying to make court access more equitable and to provide playing opportunities to players of all skill levels.

It is those changes that have resulted in a great deal of unhappiness and criticism. One of the adjustments has involved additional fees, and the anger over those fees has, in my opinion resulted in ardent and unfair criticism. The system is in flux, but I wanted to add my voice in support of the club and the pickleball professional.

I have never observed any of the negative behaviors that have been leveled as accusations. I have only observed the pickleball pro to be an excellent teacher. She has gone out of her way to listen to complaints and to try to address them in an equitable fashion. I have even seen her endure personal attacks, rudeness and criticism to her face with patience, understanding and even kindness.

I consider myself to be a good judge of character. I wanted to go on record saying that I categorically disagree with the "reviews" accusing the pickleball professional of rudeness, or worse. I will go even further and say that I believe she has been defamed by some of the posts here and I hope that she considers her legal remedies.

Everyone at this Club gives 100% to ensure all Club Members have the best experience and that all needs are met, even down to the Cafe.

I'm utterly disappointed with my experience at LT, particularly with pickleball coach Taylor Hartman's conduct. Not only does Taylor display a lack of care towards customers, but the behavior has also been very RUDE.
Additionally, the constant changes in programs solely for financial gain, disregarding prior agreements with customers, is unacceptable. It's frustrating to have paid a high membership fee only to find out that playing pickleball now incurs additional charges, basically they removed almost all free open play!
Moreover, the disregard for the demand, leaving courts EMPTY despite many eager players, reflects poorly on the gym's management. This lack of professionalism and integrity from Lifetime has left me deeply dissatisfied with my membership.

They just don't care about their customers! Get away from this place! They charge $219 per month and you still need to pay for playing pickleball, that's another hundreds bucks per month. I am not against charging for clinics and matches, but why remove all the free open play sessions with so many members enjoyed? Only to squeeze more money from you. The pickleball manager Taylor Hartman definitely is not doing her job, now pickleball courts are empty regardless so many members want to play! They even block you from expressing your opinion. They charge additional fees for playing Pickleballs. We have a Whatsapp pickleball group for discussions. But the admin (Taylor Hartman) blocked all people to share their thoughts regarding the actual fees in the group! These admin persons collect fees and make unfair rules. I couldn’t believe that they let the members pay to play pickleball. The pickleball open play and court reservation policy keep changing every 2-3 months with one goal; keep collecting more money.

The facility is actually nice. I became a member to play indoor pickleball. But recently they changed policy and require people to pay $15 for a one and half hour prime time session. This is on to of already expensive membership fee. There are a lot of complaints among pickleball players. For this reason, I am giving it the lowest possible rating. Hope they’ll reverse the policy soon, otherwise, I may cancel my membership.

Sudden changes happened to our lovely gym April,1-signature members have to pay for the pickle ball open play time now
On top of the membership fee paying for two people who play every day -it’s a lot
Probably we will have to terminate our membership if they don’t stop charging for the open play.

I regret to say that my experience at LT has been extremely disappointing. Firstly, the employees' attitudes were rude and dismissive, showing a clear lack of concern for customers' needs and inquiries. It's disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior in a service-oriented industry.

Moreover, the frequent price surges have been frustrating and unexpected, making it challenging for customers to budget effectively for their fitness expenses. The lack of transparency regarding these price changes only adds to the frustration and leaves customers feeling undervalued.

Additionally, the imposition of unreasonable fees on pickleball court usage is simply unjustifiable. In the service agreement, it states signature members have complimentary access to pickleball courts. Now members cannot play without paying more even they paid such high membership fee! The arbitrary fees placed on pickleball courts demonstrate a lack of consideration for the interests and preferences of the gym's members. What they only care is revenue.

Overall, I hope that LT takes these concerns seriously and implements measures to improve their customer service, pricing policies, and fee structures. Until then, I cannot recommend this gym to others seeking a positive and satisfactory fitness experience.

My initial impression was good, but the last few visits have changed my impression. The place is not very clean, and the men's restroom, because my husband is a member, said it is very dirty, especially the Pickleball stadium. The rules and regulations are very confusing, and some of my friends have decided to quit.
What I am most dissatisfied with is that the rules of Lifetime are constantly changing and the prices are getting more and more expensive, which is more expensive than other Lifetime branches.

I have been a member of Lifetime Princeton for about 2 years now and I think I can provide a comprehensive feedback about this gym. To date, the gym has been consistent, it hasn’t improved and it hasn’t gotten worse.

The good: This gym has great classes, huge space for various workouts, lots of equipments from cardio workouts, weight lifting, as well as recovery. I rarely have to wait for machines. Most machines are also really well maintained. Friendly people and staff. 8/10

The “okay” / bad: Keep in mind that this is a family gym, there are kids running around and occasionally occupying machines for fun, and it gets pretty dangerous if not being used properly. Also, Lifetime Princeton has lap pools and but they often occupied by classes. 7/10

The ugly: OMG, this gym is filthy. To compared, I have been a member of various gyms in the past: CanDo, Blink (NYC), Equinox (NYC), Base (JC), Lifetime Princeton is DIRTIEST. They are always out of disinfectant wipes at the main gym area, bathrooms and locker rooms are always filled with used towels on the floor, hair is everywhere, foul smell, and the steam room floor are just dirty… 🤮 -10000/10

Overall, great place to be. I just hope that they can improve their sanitary.

Gym layout is all on one floor spread wide. Generally you can find some aerobic equipment to use. They have multiple squat racks so typically the wait isn't too long to get equipment but when classes are running or during peak hours, you'll find the gym crowded. Free weight benches are often all in use - same with leg power sleds and cable machines. If you join come prepared with a list of alternative exercises as otherwise you'll spend a lot of time waiting for equipment to free up.

This is all very surprising at the rates charged by lifetime. This is definitely one of the busier locations I've used - (a few of the others I've used include KOP, Ardmore, and Austin Tx). As a corporation, the rates are outrageous but regardless of the fees and frequency of rate increases, they still have plenty of people joining. Definitely an opportunity for some other gym to enter the market.

The staff members here are wonderful! I The facility is absolutely beautiful and always clean. There is no gym in Central New Jersey that comes close to what this gym has to offer. During peak times, the gym is crowded, but that speaks volumes to the wonderful service and amenities this gym has to offer. Everyone from the front desk workers, cafe workers, to the locker room workers, and instructors will go above and beyond to assist you. I look forward to taking classes with the yoga and fitness instructors. I attend classes with them weekly, as they have made such a positive impact on my life. I am so grateful and thankful to have such a luxurious escape like Lifetime Gym. It is definitely a high end, pricier gym, but worth every penny in my opinion. For the monthly fee that you pay, you get to work out on gym equipment, you get a plethora of amazing classes to choose from, spas, steam rooms, basketball and pickle ball courts, multiple jacuzzis, an incredible pool both indoor and outdoor with a water slide. Lifetime does not lock you into a yearly membership, which I love. You don’t need to wait an entire year if you want to leave the gym!! Keep up the great work Lifetime! I couldn’t be happier with the facility.

UNETHICAL AND DISCRIMINATORY BEHAVIOR
I have been a member of Lifetime fitness for around 5 years and have spent over $50, 000 in private personal training and yoga sessions. On November 20, 2023, I had gone to the gym to use the sauna and take shower and while I was getting ready to leave, I heard loud noises of someone moving something aggressively. When I looked, it was the operations staff member (Ana) and both her demeanor and the way she was moving the big towel cart were loud and aggressive. I asked Ana several times the reason for her aggression and why she was so loud. She continued to look at me without saying anything to me and then I was upset and asked her again. She didn’t say a word and continued with her aggressive behavior. I COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHY Anna’s BODY LANGUAGE WAS SO AGGRESSIVE IN THAT MOMMENT AND SHE WAS MOVING THE TOWEL CART AGGRESSIVELY AS WELL. My assumption is that this was due to my complaint about the dirty sauna and she was taking her aggression out by moving the towel cart loud and aggressively. I always complained nicely and perhaps was frustrated since I was given different rules / policies around how frequently the sauna is cleaned (sometime it was shared it sauna is cleaned daily and sometimes it was shared that it was cleaned weekly). I was never aggressive, however, extremely frustrated.

2. On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, as I was stepping into the locker room, the floor was wet after it was mopped by one of the operations team members. This was around 8 pm ET and the locker room was full with members. Everyone who was near expressed that it was unsafe, however, no one complaint. So I asked the front desk to page the operations manager (Bianca). Bianca explained that the floor is not that wet and someone is getting the “wet floor” signs. I questioned Bianca if she thinks that the floor is wet and took a video of the floor while recording her statement that “it’s okay that the floor is wet while someone gets the “wet floor” signs. I explained to Bianca while the front desk staff was watching that someone can fall easily on the wet floor and I have been in two car accidents and afraid that someone will fall and will end up with lifelong injuries because of carelessness of Lifetime’s staff. Biance was rude and argued over the fact that someone is bringing the signs and it’s okay that it’s not placed right when the floor is mopped and is wet (I have a video of the vet floor and Bianca arguing with me).
had recorded this incident it since I was very upset at her rudeness and the fact she thinks “wet floor” signs do not need to be placed immediately. Brittany, another operational staff member, approached me and told me that she agrees with me that the “wet floor” signs should be placed when the floor is wet without any delay. I was upset and when walked into the sauna, it was extremely dirty so I asked Brittany to call Bianca so I can show her how dirty the sauna is. This took place by the entrance of the locker room and there should be a video recording of this.

I wanted to share a safety issue for this gym since they are providing expired first aid items. In addition, one of their employee has been very rude and aggressive when I tried provided a constructive feedback to her manager.

Today I spoke with the concierge manager
about my situation another day which they can’t find an wound cleaning wipe at the whole gym the other night . The manager did find a box of expired wipe at their front desk first aid bag and the box seems to be contaminated from the big water mark on the box. The manager said that they are going to throw it away after I informed him that OSAH did require to have wood cleaning wipe in the first aid kit [Appendix A to § 1910.266 - First-Aid Kits (Mandatory)]. I don’t think they should supply expired the items like they would want a docor to use an expired wipe on their wood at hospital.

I’m disappointed since a big gym like this didn’t have first aid refill service and their employee can’t accept negative feedback with a valid reason.

I toured the Princeton club and it seemed pretty nice. I'm giving 2 stars because of their inability (or unwillingness) to work around special circumstances for membership. I work in NYC, and have a wife and 2 kids. The only way for me to use the NYC facilities was to have my own membership in NYC and my wife and kids to have their own membership in Princeton OR just sign all of us up in NYC (which is un-necessary since they woudn't use NYC facilities). I realize they their systems in place, but their inability or unwillingness to be flexible in this kept me from joining.

Recently Joined couple months ago with my entire family and were paying $400 a month to enjoy the entire gym. Especially kids academy, classes, pickleball court and the pool. However, lately someone in the staff have been reserving the pickleball court for his friends all the time and regular members that are a paying customer isn't able to reserve it at all. As I spoke to other members about this issue and they agreed why they are paying for the gym if the staff are doing this in the backend of the companies for ppl they know.
We're about to just cancel the membership and go elsewhere instead without all this nonsense as it is a company and not a gym restricted to only friends.
I hope the owner and management see this to make proper changes!

I was a founding member at Lifetime back in Feb 2018. It was a safe haven and a place I looked forward to go to exercise or relax. I referred several of my friends and family to this gym. But after the pandemic, I’ve been very disappointed with management. Here are my reasons:

- Continuous price hikes with diminishing value (i.e. pay extra for pickleball court and outdoor pool access, $11 smoothies)
- Cleanliness has suffered - esp. in the women’s locker room because of the increase in patronage and it seems like staff can’t keep up. Members take more towels than they need and do not place them in designated bins, thus towels are scattered throughout. Hair is also a problem in the showers.
- I’ve noticed odor on the furniture, studio mats, and steam rooms.
- Swim lanes are occupied by swim team 5 days a week at peak hours from 5-8pm) so members have limited opportunity to go swim during those times.
- Gym has become an after school hangout place for kids. The front of the gym has now become a congested pickup line.

I hope management recognizes these issues and put a strategy in place to address these concerns soon.

The customer service has also gone down the drain, they are rude and shrug their shoulders if you ask a simple question even about the hours. The steam room stinks and in need of major upgrade. The best gym in the area!

The classes are by far my favorite, as well as my kids favorite. Yoga, Pilates, Cycling, Strength Training, Barre are just a few that I’ve taken.

Instructors that have amazing classes are: Jenna, Serena, Blair, Daniela. There’s a lot of instructors and something for everyone.

Morgan at the front desk is beyond loved by my kiddos. She also signed us up for our membership. We love her!

Kids club has such good teachers, especially the management. Diana, and Arielle go above and beyond for all the kids.

My kids also attend swim classes (1, 3, 6) and they really enjoy them. Great swim teachers and good management. Only thing I wish they would change is the no make up policy but I do understand why they decided to do this. We switched from Five Star Swim School (after 3 years) and are much much happier.

I’ve never had any problems with cleanliness. There’s always employees cleaning. Steam room could be cleaned more often especially on high traffic days.

Lifetime is requiring that you upgrade to a signature membership to access pickleball at all. I currently pay over $350 a month for a family of four.

I joined this gym back in the spring of 2019, and it was A-Mazing! We canceled our membership this year, but really felt compelled to leave this comment, as did so many others! Soooo disappointed with what now seems to be the norm for this location. Before the pandemic, it was immaculately clean, it smelled amazing from the moment you walked into the gym at sign in, the machines were clean (and worked), the staff were hospitable, friendly, and appreciated your business! NOW - THIS GYM IS WORST THAN A PLANET SHITNESS! Yet, Life Time (Princeton) have the audacity to charge as much as they are charging for this stinking, filthy dump. The staff are RUDE, this gym smells really bad overall and you’re breathing in a moldy smell while in the steam room! The steam room used to smell of eucalyptus and it was super clean! Any newcomers, save your money or you’ll be disappointed! I’ll be happy when this gym fail just like LA Fitness did when they became too cocky and started caring less about their members and more about making money instead. Now, you can count how many LA Fitness gyms are still standing today. But even they didn’t rob their members like Life Time are currently doing. I really wanted this relationship to work and even stayed with the gym for as long as we could, but now, it would just be out of pure desperation if we stayed- being mistreated as members.

This is my happy place. I have been going to this gym since it opened and it’s been nothing short of amazing for all these years. The people, the cafe, the trainers, are absolutely amazing. Everyone takes the time to know you personally and help you achieve your fitness and wellness goals.

Amazing facilities (full basketball court, pickleball, pool, sauna, steam room, giant weight room with many olympic lifting setups). More to offer / better value than Equinox.

Customer service much more helpful / gracious than Equinox. Very flexible, they'll do no initiation fee if you ask, and let you pause your membership anytime (for $15/month, no other fees).

Ask for Devin from account management - she was super helpful pausing/resuming my subscription during unpredictable work travel, as well as refunding me when I was overbilled due to misunderstandings.

This place is amazing. Top of the line. Ratings can't do this place justice. You have to visit yourself and check it out.

Really a fantastic environment all around. The the concierge members are warm and welcoming, class instructors are exceptional, the cafe staff is friendly and and frequently goes above and beyond, and the facilities are top-notch. It’s worth the membership price. I do wish they had tennis courts though!

I joined Lifetime when my youngest was three months old. He is now 5 years old and Lifetime is his favorite place to go. He takes gymnastics, create and build, art and sport classes and junior warriors which are all included in his membership. The staff who works in the Kids Academy are amazing. They are professional, fun, kind and always excited to see him. Arielle, who is in charge of the Kids Academy, is incredible. She is accommodating and truly goes above and beyond for the kids. I am so thankful for Lifetime!

I retired in June after working 23 years at a College and everyone told me the transition would be difficult. I joined Lifetime and it has helped me with this transition. I am here 5 or 6 days a week taking wonderful classes meeting new friends and all the instructors are amazing. It has given me a purpose to get up in the morning to stay healthy and fit.
Thank you Lifetime

Comparing to bridgewater lifetime this place has some catching up to do. Locker rooms are usually not clean and neither is the spa area . I would say the weight area is well constructed and spacious. Still a great gym compared to the regular gyms in the area but for a Lifetime they can improve.

Lifetime has certainly stand out from other workout gyms . They have multiple wonderful classes ( biking , yoga, strengthen etc) to book in app and plan your week. I have tried many gyms in NY/NJ in last 15 years, but nothing was working for me as I was loosing self motivation to continue fitness. I believe price is premium but it does the job of bringing you in to gym with motivation and excitement. They have wonderful swimming , hydra massage, cafeteria and spa centers, aka one stop place to kill your time happily , thank you

The is entirely too expensive! Price gauging at its finest. This establishment should be reported and ran out of the community. $349 a month for my me, my wife and my son to go to this gym. Yall are Outta control. Thata a car note. 🚗
