This gym is absolutely the best establishment I’ve used. Corey and Vania continuously re-invest back into the business. They have done more equipment (high end) refreshes in the short time they’ve been in business than any gym (mayor chain or privately owned) has done over their entire time existence. I challenge anyone to find another gym or any business for that matter that holds holiday, major anniversary or just customer appreciation, catered parties along with contests and competitions where major social media profiles host and promote said events. Open 24x7 365 days a week and should there be an equipment failure it gets fixed almost immediately, cleaning staff keeps the bathrooms and workout floor and equipment very clean. Highly recommend this place if you are serious with your training.

The Cleanest gym, great equipment, top notch amenities and sickest atmosphere. I joined lifters lair 7 months ago when I wanted to take my fitness journey to the next level and needed to get the hell out of commercial gyms. From the stocked fridges with a large variety of drinks as well as meal prep to the sickest dumbbells and steel plates it doesn’t get better. I recently went to this place to find a water fountain since I was walking around my neighborhood and across the busy street on a very hot summer day. The man who was behind the front desk let me have a cold water bottle for free since I didn’t have any money and since it was very hot that day. He told me that the water in the water fountain tasted bad so he let me take a cold drink instead. These people are very nice and it felt like I would have passed out if it wasn’t for the kind man behind the desk. Also the gym was completely spotless which actually surprised me since most businesses don’t do a very good job at this, but this gym proved me otherwise. God bless him and I hope this business explodes in popularity! I see absolutely zero reasons why it should be rated a 1 star! Easily the best gym for gaining muscles. Been working out here a couple of weeks now. The equipment has any gym I have ever used beat by far. Staff is really great and on top of everything. Weights have always been squared away and the gym is spotless. Not everyone has the best gym etiquette at places I ve been in the past but I don't see that here. Felt like I was reborn here. Was down in Brick to visit my moms friend. I heard a lot of great things about this place and decided to check it out. I was not disappointed one bit. This was by far the best gym I've ever been too. The machines were super unique and the vibe and music that they played were great. The people at the front desk were super nice and helpful and the bathrooms were clean and pretty spacious. I’m 51 years old. I’ve been in the gym since I was 14 years old. I’ve been to so many gyms throughout the East Coast. As a power lifter, for the USPF, for over 12 years in my career , I’ve traveled all over and have competed in many tournaments. I’ve been in so many gyms. I can only count three gyms that are not only amazing to be at, but conducive to growth and gains and has everything someone needs to make it. This gym is one of them.

Since I moved to this area, the past five years, I had four gym memberships, I was skipping around from gym to gym, but it was a friend of mine who told me to try this place out. Soon as I went there for my first trial visit I knew I wanted a membership. Since then, I canceled all my memberships And this is my home gym.

The people are excellent, the staff is amazing, 24 hours is no lie, they are alert and ready to go all around the clock. Some of the healthiest food is available for pick up on your way out, yes … Coronato’s , and an excellent beverage fridge. No less, the treatment clinics inside the gym. Posing room is ingenious.This place has everything you need so you can make it. It was strategically designed this way.

If you want gains, this is the place to be.

This is the best gym in NJ hands down. I’m from north Jersey but whenever I’m down the shore I come to Lifter’s Lair and I constantly think to myself how amazing this gym is and how I wished there was another one up north. It rarely gets packed, the equipment is unmatched, and there is even a room with a giant mirror to take pictures of yourself, if you’re into that sort of thing. I don’t wanna hype it up TOO much cuz then this place will start getting packed haha, but if you’re in the area absolutely check it out.

Gym is beyond great w a great staff, only thing I can’t understand is the amount of money for a monthly membership but cheaping out horribly w the sauna. The second one other person gets in it you’re on top of each other. If that aspect was even just a tiny bit better I’d give it 5 stars and worth every penny. But with how bad they messed that up it’s 100% taken the sauna out of my daily gym routine which is a shame.

The best gym in the area hands down. A hidden gem without a doubt. I be been coming to LL for about 4 months now. This is exactly what family, private ownership should look like. Nope, not a $9.99 a month gym, not a gym where you’ll find 9000 pieces of cardio equipment where you’re unable to get near a dumbell or machine. Countless pieces of all things. Plenty of cardio equipment, and machines and free weights and plates I love this gym and within the few months since I’ve joined. I’ve seen a least 10 new machines arrived and at least another 12 machines swapped out got better, higher-end models. Cory is a great owner, he stays on top of everything and he’s a local guy. He listens to his customers, not ONLY here to make a buck but here to give ppl a better fitness experience.
I can easily drive 1/4 mile down the road to my local chain gym. Instead I choose to drive 10 min to a place I know will inspire me to have a killer workout amongst like-minded ppl. The vibe here is awesome, the music is always pumping and it’s 24 hrs. I’m glad to finally get what I pay for.

I would like to preface this review by saying that the gym equipment, atmosphere, and overall environment is among some of the best in all of NJ. With that being said, the only gripe I could possibly think of would be the accommodations to Active Duty Military and Veterans as a whole. As a former membership holder and now AD service member I was coming back to the gym over Veterans Day weekend just to be in a familiar environment and enjoy my workout. After asking employees if there were any Veteran’s Day weekend discounts on day passes, week passes or anything of the sort it was brought to our attention that there weren’t any at all. Going to the gym and bringing another AD Service member who was also home for the extended weekend and being told that just seemed disappointing. As a suggestion to mitigate this for other AD service members who get the chance to come home over holiday weekends is offer some kind of discount/accommodation for the short time they’re home. That would not only entice service members to go to this gym it would create more business as a whole.

I recently moved to Toms River from Union County and needed to move gyms since there’s no lifetime nearby. I started at LA fitness but I didn’t like it. So I came to Lifters hoping to find a new community.

This gym is a 10 on every level. they have every piece of equipment, a designated posing area for all the gym rats like myself, and they even have a sauna. they also have pre made meals that are amazing, and great selection of energy drinks and snacks.

Everyone is super nice and friendly, and the equipment is always clean. The atmosphere is great and pushes me to go harder.

I bought a week pass to check out Lifters Lair. I can honestly say this is the sickest gym I have ever been to and I have been to many. Fabulous equipment , clean and huge! Would tell anybody in the area to check it out. I live in north Jersey so I’m bummed out this can’t be my regular gym.
