If I could give 0 stars I would. I left the area and requested to cancel my membership as I am now working on the other side of the state, provided ample proof of moving locations; including legal paystubs, and still got my cancellation request denied. If you want a dishonest, unprofessional gym membership, who will do anything to take your money: look no further. I wish I had done my research prior to joining this horrible establishment. Steer clear.

It’s a decent gym however it’s hard to justify the price when for the entire duration of my first year in membership their men’s locker room sauna is broken.

They seem to have zero interest in fixing the sauna which is extremely odd considering we live in a cold climate.

I like this gym but the deferred maintneance is starting to add up. There are a lot of old machines that are out of order and have been for awhile. A lot of machines are missing a small part or 2 that impacts the useability. One stepper is currently missing the button for one of the "emergency stops". Management needs to realize that they need to fix these small items(which really wouldn't cost much) and replace or remove broken equipment that will never be fixed.

Best health club in the area. I have a women's membership. The women's area is always clean and quiet. The big gym looks nice too, but the women's gym suits my needs perfectly.

Gym is a joke when I signed up was told I would be good thru 10/31 showed up today said it expires 10/30 despite me being told I was good thru the 31st not only that they should mention the sauna is not working when you join nobody willing to help me told only the owner can help looks like I’ll be going to retro thanks for nothing

It is okay. The Manhawkin branch has more space. The LBI branch is too crowded for me. Good range of equipment. Equipment is worn. For example rubber on free waits maybe riped pr worn off. Not sure of how equipment is orga ized. Only one staff member there inly to register you and one to clean. $15 for day pass. That said, its the best choixe in Manahawkin LBI area.

After being a member for 15 years and having multiple memberships for family members and myself, I canceled due to COVID because I was not comfortable going back and working out with a mask and I did not have the money to throw away on freezing the membership for an extended amount of time . I felt that when things calmed down with the pandemic I would return to the gym. I called and spoke to the owner who I know for 15 years. I explained my concerns. He told me that he was looking for loyalty and basically if I’m not keeping my membership it freezing my membership (basically giving him money) I was not being loyal to him. He then told me to find another gym when I am ready to return. I guess 15 years and spending more than $15,000 is not being loyal . Once you stop putting money in his bank account I guess your not considered a loyal customer any more.
