I have been attending Managed Fitness for a while and really enjoy the classes they offer. The private one-on-one sessions with Rebecca started me on my journey to feeling confident enough to take group classes as well! I highly recommend them to anyone starting Pilates! The instructors are wonderful at guiding you through the exercises and are extremely knowledgeable. I finally found an exercise and a studio that I connect with and enjoy going to!

I have been a member for many years and have been impressed by the teachers that Barbara has hired. They have always worked me well, offering alternatives if anyone has an injury or limitation. They have helped to create a warm, friendly, and supportive environment. I’ve taken different classes over the years and each has something different to offer. During the pandemic and after, I appreciate that there were and still are some online classes, which enable me to join in even when I’m traveling. I’d recommend giving it a try!!!

I've been working with Barbara for the past 6 years doing semi- private Pilates classes! I am in such better shape and stronger because of her classes. Zero back pains due to strengthening my core. I also have tried the Law Of Attraction classes and they are amazing- feeling great both mentally and physically thanks to Barbara !

Her passion for Pilates and for nurturing new instructors is inspiring. I felt empowered, challenged, and uplifted throughout my training, and left feeling fully prepared and excited to begin teaching.

I started going to Managed Fitness when I moved to Summit 4 years ago from NYC when I was looking for a local pilates reformer class. I fell in love with the studio and practice at Managed Fitness right away. When I am there I feel in such good hands - Barbara and her team are incredibly knowledgable, professional and motivating. Every muscle is carefully worked and stretched. I feel taller and stronger after every class (and no more back and neck pain!) Recently due to COVID steps have been taken to unsure all of our safety and the protocols put in place make me feel totally safe and protected. Thankfully, because I do not feel the same if I miss a week of class!

Managed Fitness has done an excellent job of keeping everyone safe through the pandemic! There are four reformers in a large space, with great ventilation, and excellent cleaning. It’s so nice to be able to get a wonderful workout that is not virtual! All the instructors are well versed in Pilates and have helped me to get stronger and more flexible. Love this place!

Managed Fitness Bar & Pilates is one of the best fitness studios I have been to in the area. I have chronic back pain and the instructors are very conscious of it and provide modified poses. Everyone is very friendly (instructors and students). There is no judging and they accommodate all levels! I look forward to going to classes!

Finding Managed Fitness Bar & Pilates Studio is the best studio I have been to. Over the past two years, I have seen many positive results in how I look and feel from their wonderful instructors & classes. Barbara, the owner, and the staff are very attentive to each & every participant, providing challenging and dynamic classes with times available throughout weekdays, weekends & holidays. I have been doing pilates for about 5 years now and the past year I have been a client at Managed Fitness. Since I have been attending classes at this studio, I would never think of going anywhere else. Barbara, the owner and main instructor, is a wonderful and experienced teacher. For beginners, classes are very accommodating and I have never had another instructor, like Barbara, who explains so well how to properly do an exercise to get the full benefit of your workout. She will adapt any class she teaches to fit the needs and fitness level of the clients taking it. A huge plus is that the class schedule is based on when the clients are free! Barbara is always open to suggestions of modifying the schedule or just simply adding an extra class. What I love most is that everyone is challenged no matter what your level of ability is. This is truly a great and friendly place. I live in Westfield and I prefer to spend 35 minutes in morning rush hour traffic to get to Managed Fitness than find anywhere else closer to me. Definitely give it a try!

I have tried a variety of classes at Managed Fitness (from Bar Sculpt, to Mat Pilates, and Pilates Reformer); they are all challenging and engaging in their own way. Barbara is an excellent instructor who, even in group fitness classes, manages to individualize instruction. All of the equipment looks new and the studio is always clean and inviting. Even though I belong to a local gym that offers Pilates based classes, I still come to Managed Fitness for mat and bar classes. If you are looking to give Pilates or Bar a try, or simply want to vary your fitness routine, definitely visit Managed Fitness.

I love the bar sculpt class and pilates reformer class at Managed Fitness. The owner/instructor Barbara is highly qualified and very attentive to your personal fitness goals and will try to work around your schedule as much as possible. She's also super friendly and supportive and makes you feel at ease even if it's your first time. I started out with the bar sculpt class and liked it very much. It is challenging but Barbara shows you variations to fit your level. I only do the Pilates Reformer now because it suits me better and I absolutely love it! The studio is always very clean and the equipments are all new. I highly recommend Managed Fitness and Barbara to anyone who wants to get fit and healthy.

This a fantastic studio! It is a warm and welcoming environment that makes you look forward to working out. The classes are challenging but Barbara always gives modifications to fit your fitness level. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and give helpful pointers to assist you in maximizing your workout. I have taken both bar sculpt and pilates reformer and love them both! I have come to understand and love the phenomenon of Bar Sculpt. If you are looking for results, look no further. You will work hard, but the payoff is great.
You can also take Pilates, Reformer and Mat classes and sign up is so easy with their web site's mind-body scheduler.

I find Managed Fitness to be the best kept secret in town. I often catch an early morning bar sculpt class or an evening Pilates Reformer class...either way, Barbara gets you to strengthen properly from the core. I have successfully aleviated some nagging back and joint issues which I thought would never go away. I love it AND it works for my schedule.

This was my first Bar class and I loved it! It was a great workout experience and I especially liked the core strengthening exercises. Barbara's studio is very pleasant and cheerful. Barbara is an excellent instructor that encouraged me to work at my own pace. I am definitely going to schedule more Bar classes. It was a lot of fun!!

I took some Bar classes with Barbara and found her to be a wonderfully supportive motivating trainer who understands limitations and how to safely push to exceed them. Her studio is all new, it's comfortable, cozy and fun to work out at. Her ability as a trainer is the best I have ever experienced. If you are in the area you have to take one of her classes. This is a fantastic exercise studio featuring small bar classes and private or group pilates. The teachers are terrific and provide individualized instruction. I am totally addicted to this program and it has made a huge difference in my well-being. I highly recommend Barbara's studio for the novice who wants to try bar and pilates, or for the devotee looking for a small, welcoming environment.
