We started our daughter when she was 2.5 years old , and she is now 4.5 years old and enjoys dancing more than we knew. Even at her other programs, teacher compliment how good she is at it. Thank you Ms.Mariann for inspiring our girl to do what she knows she can do best :)

We found Mariann’s school of dance through our neighbor. My daughter was invited to try out one of the classes with her friend who was a dancer at the studio.
That day changed her life! She now does numerous classes. Her love for dance grows more and more each day!
She has also quit her “gymnastics tumbling classes” at her previous gymnastics school, and has enrolled in the Acrobatics class at Mariann's. She has grown and accomplished sooo much more in the little time she’s started compared to her previous gymnastics school. I couldn’t be happier, and prouder then I am with how far she has come in her dance skills, and acrobatic skills in such a little amount of time! She absolutely Loves all of her classes and teachers, and looks forward to them all every week!
I couldn’t be happier with this dance studio! It’s super fun, affordable, and most importantly Ms Mariann is there and involved! Always making sure to do what’s best for the dancers, and making sure they’re ok, and really enjoying their classes.
Unlike other dance studios I’ve been to where no one even knew who the owner was.
If I could rate more than 5 stars I would!

We found Mariann's School of Dance when my granddaughter was five and attending Musical Munchkins in a studio there. After every class, Madeline would look at pictures of dancers, especially the ones about her age. At age 5 she was graduating from Musical Munchkins and on the day of graduation, she spent an especially long time looking at each picture of a dancer as if she were memorizing the dancers' faces, because this would be the last time she would see them. At one point, I said to her: "Would you like to take dance lessons?" While still studying a picture, she nodded her head up and down. And so, next fall, Grandma registered her for her first dance class. It has been 11 years now that Madeline has taken dance lessons. She loved it from the first day and still loves it.It has been a gift of love, art, with the bonus of poise.

One of the worst dance schools I've ever seen... So unprofessional! They'd trick you to get you into something that you aren't interested, just because there's not enough students to form a group. Especially if you are a person of color, definitely a big No to this place...

Mariann is such an amazing and gentle soul. From the first point of contact, Mariann was beyond welcoming to my daughter and I. I would highly recommend Mariann's School of Dance. My daughter. began dancing at this school when she was 3..we took a break during the pandemic but I am so excited for both my daughters to continue their dance education here! (Now by little one is 4 years old and is ready to follow her sisters dance steps!)

Mariann has created a positive space where kids of all ages and levels are inspired to dance. The teachers are not only highly trained, passionate, and challenge the children, they are also warm and compassionate. After trying several dance schools In the area, I feel so lucky to have found them.

This place is terrible they are not body positive at all and they are racist as a overweight Dominican myself I know all about those things I was trying to make it in to their competition team TDC and I was told that I was not committed when that’s all I’d talk about and then my mother asked why I didn’t make it and they said if I lost weight I would jump higher which is rude for a professional to say to a little girl also they’re competion girls are not the nicest people if you are in there lower company NMDC they hate you if you are in recreational they hate you that’s it I had my own experience with there competition girls and they were very rude next they take all of your money I was in NMDC and we had to learn a finale dance and my mother was never told about the $45 charge to learn the dance also I decided to do a optional competition and that was $400 for some rinky dinky costume and dance and the competition wasn’t even that real it was KAR which number 1 they don’t judge on how you dance and 2 we were the only dance in our category and we got first place obviously and the racist and unbody posove kicks in now they have like 5 girls who are minorities on there competition team and non of them are over weight if you go to this place they waste your money, your time, and most of all your kids will get bullied i know a lot of kids who go bullied there and they all moved out so I hope you pick any other place just not there

I grew up in New Jersey, training at Mariann’s School of Dance for fifteen years. This is where I discovered my love for movement. I was part of the Competitive Dance Company and won multiple Grand Championships at Starbound Nationals in Atlantic City. I went on to college to pursue Dance as a career. After college, I have been given the opportunity of a lifetime. Not only am I a faculty member at the studio, but I have the pleasure to set work on the students. Seasonally, I travel with the competitive company to numerous competitions. The director of the school, Mariann Paul, is passionate and organized. She ensures the students have an incredible experience. Being apart of Mariann’s School of Dance has shaped who I am as a person and I am forever grateful for that.

I was a dancer at Mariann's for 16 years, 11 years as a member of NMDC. Throughout my time there, I received a great dance education taught by hardworking staff, and I learned skills beyond dance as well. Being a dancer at Mariann's taught me aspects of creativity, determination, teamwork, responsibility, and so much more. Mariann's is a dance community that you don't want to miss out on!

We've been part of the Mariann's family since my oldest daughter was 3. 18 years later, my youngest graduated and I'm going to miss being a dance mom. One of the most rewarding experiences was watching my daughters grow each year and develop into beautiful dancers and make lifelong friendships.

Mariann's School of Dance has so many outstanding points. The location is easy to get to, and the facility is top notch. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, nurturing, and truly care about their students. Most importantly to me, no matter the age of the student, be it 3 or 17, everything is age-appropriate. From the music, to choreography and even to costuming. This year will be my daughter's 8th season with MSD and we are looking forward to 8 more years of a quality dance education.

Mariann's School of Dance will not only teach your child how to do ballet or jazz or whatever their choice of dance is. My daughter became more confident, learned how to be a team player and how to problem solve all while making lifelong friends and having fun.

I am a total fan of Mariann’s School of Dance. When we moved back to NJ 8 years ago we visited every studio in the area. After meeting with Mariann my daughter and I chose to enroll here. Mariann has a magical aura and makes every dancer and parent feel welcome and special.

The instruction is given by professional, caring teachers who form lasting relationships with their students. The studio has a level of dance for everyone. My daughter worked her way up from a recreational dancer to dancing in the performing company and then to the competition dance team. There are classes in every style of dance, even boys only classes.

As a busy parent I appreciate that all information is written in detail so I know what to expect throughout the year in regard to responsibilities, dates and expenses. The facility is brand new and has a large waiting room for parents with color monitors so I can watch the classes. It is also convenient to Route 17, so I can run errands while my daughter is in class.

If you are looking for a dance studio for your child, I would highly recommend that you check out Mariann’s School of Dance. The only problem that I have is that my daughter loves it so much she never wants to come home at the end of the day!
