We love Martial Arts Institute and Fitness! My kids are always eager to go. Master David Benson and the other instructors are knowledgeable, skilled, and encouraging. The family atmosphere is a blessing. Not only the masters and instructors, but also every student there is ready and eager to help beginners and every level to learn, advance, and enjoy themselves.

This is a really great school. The instructor is awesome and great with kids too. Very nice people, I highly recommend!

A few months later: Master Benson is an excellent teacher. My gson has made so much progress in everyday life as well as the arts. I couldn't have asked for a better school. They also have classes six days a week which makes it easier for people with busy schedules.

We've been coming here almost a year now and our 2 kids are just as excited as day 1. They've loved training, learning, meeting new friends and of course earning new belts. I love their confidence and the life lessons they learn about persistence and working hard to achieve goals. Mr. Miyagi would approve!

The flexibility of the class schedules makes it easy for us to attend when it is convenient for us. The only slightly annoying part is parking. Being in the downtown Rowan area, parking is usually found in a garage with a short walk to the studio. We have gotten used to it and now it is a non issue. Come and check it out!

One of the best decisions I could have ever made for my grandson. Mr. Benson is one of the greatest teachers I have ever come across. He is very patient with my grandson and teaches him respect and respect and patience.. My grandson has ADHD and this has helped him So much. This has given him confidence and determination. I would recommend ths facility to anyone and everyone.

I would recommend MAI and Fitness to anyone. Master Benson, his instructors and helpers are phenomenal with the students. Not only do the students learn martial arts and self-defense, but they learn self-confidence, discipline, self-restraint, respect both for themselves and others, all while having fun. Each session starts with meditation, an education and kindness circle, and a group bonding exercise. Every instructor is great with kids and treats them with respect and dignity. If you are looking for a wonderful, patient and kind, yet firm set of instructors, please call them.

Heard about this place from a friend who also takes her kids. My 6yeAr old started with no prior experience. Master benson and his daughter are amazing teachers and make it fun and educational for the kids. They break up doing form moves with fun games for the kids so they are continuously engaged. They instruct the kids as well as trying to teach them how to be respectful. It’s an overall great class. She can’t wait to come every week!

I love the new place. It is beautiful. I love the kickboxing class and my son loves the karate. They give a family discount. I work in Washington Township and drive here because the instructors are great and the prices are very reasonable.
