I'm 5 weeks into the 10 week challenge and Im having a blast! Im seeing progress on the scale, in the mirror and in my ability to perform the workouts. The meal plan is easy to follow, the staff and other gym members are helpful and supportive. It truly feels like a community! I wished I would have joined sooner.

I've made excuses over the years, joined gyms and paid for memberships even though I wasn't going for months at a time. I needed something to motivate me, something to push me.
Joined The Max of Lacey and things changed. Its like a one big family. From the owner, to the trainers, to the people next to you working out each day. You don't feel like you are on an island by yourself trying to figure things out, everyone supports everyone.
They gave me the basics, a plan to start eating healthy, a place to workout without being judged, and finally the desire to get up each morning and show up to put the time in.
My sleeping has become better as well as my vital readings (B/P). I feel great! All in 5 weeks.
Looking forward to many more, and to see where this journey takes me.
Highly recommend giving The Max of Lacey a chance.

Was hesitant to join because cost, but after doing the free week and witnessing all the benefits the Max had to offer, I did not think twice. The atmosphere is so inspiring and makes you never want to miss a class! You want to adhere to the nutrition guide because of all the work you're putting in. Worth every penny!

I joined max 8 weeks ago, after feeling stuck in the daily routine with a lot of sitting for work, stress trying to balance being a working mom and my body just feeling sore all the time due to aging and lack of physical activity. My goal was to feel physically and mentally better. What I gained was pretty immediate. I left my first class feeling energized, I have continued to build confidence and strength, and feel proud with how I feel after a challenging work out. I can’t forget how I feel better in my clothing, I don’t feel drawn to things that hide me anymore. I truly believe this would not have been possible for me to initiate alone. The owners at the Max are very helpful in helping set you up to begin this journey and support as you continue. The teachers at the Max are also so supportive and energized to help encourage us to reach our goals. The environment felt very warm and welcoming right away, which felt so helpful in keeping exercise un-intimidating. Classes really are supportive of all level of experience, and encouraged modification as needed, which truly helps create an individualized experience for all. While also getting the benefits of being in a community. I love the Max, and already am committed to continuing after week 10. I look forward to seeing my strength this time next year!

The atmosphere at the Lacey max is fantastic; the staff and the members are encouraging, friendly and truly care about each other. The quality of exercise within 45 minutes is outstanding. The virtual option as well as the multiple class times makes it so I never miss a class despite having a chaotic schedule that changes weekly.

When I signed up, I was a little nervous because I didn't know what to expect. I am older,out of shape and have very little cardio. Didn't think I could keep up with class. To my delight, on my first day, the class was inviting and super supportive of me. Introducing themselves with a smile and tons of encouragement. The staff is amazing! Friendly, energetic, and compassionate. I'm in my fifth week now and I'm keeping up and feeling so much better physically. Made new friends and lost 20 pounds!!! What a great decision to join. Is it easy? No! But it's not as hard as day one. Getting better, stronger and lighter each day. I look forward to walking in those doors every morning to max challenge. The staff and my fellow training crew have my back and I've got theirs. It's a family! What a great group of like minded people striving for the same goal as mine, to have a healthy life. The nutrition plan they promote is the best diet I've ever had, the morning workouts get my day started in the right direction and the new friendships I've got I will cherish! THIS PLACE SAVED MY LIFE!! I was at rock bottom and completely overwhelmed with my kids my jobs and life in general.I had joined other gyms in my area and had absolutely no confidence to walk in the door or the time to think about where to even start my own workout routine.I reached out to Kane and he immediately not only text me back but took time away from his busy life to CALL ME and give me the support and the push to try out a class.
I came in and of course, went directly in the back of the class where I felt the most comfortable lol
I was greeted by the most amazing staff and took my first class with people my own age that are trying to accomplish the same goals as myself..To stay HEALTHY and FIT TO BE THE BEST WE COULD POSSIBLY BE!
I am now on week 6 and today for the first time, had the confidence to go to the FRONT OF THE CLASS!
The establishment is SPOTLESS!!
The classes are designed for you to work at your OWN PACE NO MATTER WHAT AGE YOU ARE OR SHAPE YOU ARE IN
The instructors are so SO PROFESSIONAL AND SO MUCH FUN and although I have not been there long enough to know them all, I do know that if you attend morning classes you will be greeted at the front desk with the biggest smile of support from Laurie.
If your time is extremely limited like mine THIS IS THE GYM FOR YOU!!You are in and out in 45 minutes and will be amazed at the results!! (fyi- THEY PLAY THE BEST MUSIC for any age!!!!!!)

I’m on the last week of my 10 wk challenge and I love this gym! I’ve lost over 20lbs and feel (not to mention look) much healthier. This place really supports my physical and mental health and I look forward to continuing my membership for a lifetime of wellness. I attend the 5am class and I look forward to it everyday. There isn’t a single day where I’ve had to “drag” myself to the gym. I’ve tried numerous local gyms and diets with only short term results. This was mostly due to the fact that I was doing it alone. That is not the case here. The Max challenge has such a positive, togetherness atmosphere. This was very important to me as a former athlete with a history of working out with a team. The owners and trainers are all supportive, knowledgeable, and friendly. I highly recommend!!

I'm about halfway through my 10-week MAX Challenge and thoroughly enjoying it. Lacey MAX Challenge offers excellent exercise classes (in person at multiple times a day and with remote options for maximum flexibility). So far each class has included different exercises, so it's never boring. The instructors are upbeat and motivating. Modifications are offered based on fitness level or individual needs. Lacey Max fosters a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The people in class are also friendly and encouraging. MAX Challenge includes a very reasonable eating program. I feel very satisfied with my results thus far and look forward to continuing beyond the initial 10-week challenge.

Why I go to the max?
Because I have never stuck to working out with a gym membership— yes I’ve gone with good intentions to work out but when I got there I had No. Idea. What. I. Was. Doing. Even if I followed the little pictures on the machines—I know my form wasn’t right & I was absolutely going to hurt myself. This was discouraging & I gave up, multiple times. Yes I can work out at home to a YouTube video, but the motivation at this point is truly lacking. I found the max challenge & I am damn proud of myself for showing up 4-5x a week!
At The Max Challenge of Lacey Township I am motivated by other people in the class pushing themselves along with the instructors correcting your form throught the workout— becuase I’m a spastic mess. It’s like having a personal trainer 💁🏻♀️ but other people around to high-five! I truly feel the gains of muscle, shred of fat, pouring of sweat & the sore muscles that feel oh so good. During the short 4 weeks my body craves a workout, I look forward to the 45 minute class. The challenge makes it even more worth it because it’s a commitment to myself, a challenge to myself for change, clean eating & perservence! During the 60sec plank at the end of each workout I give gratitude to myself for completing another workout! The instructors always end with some words of wisdom & all come together for a hand break. The consistency of the class— yet the mix up of the workouts make it fun, & effective.

You only get to live each day once! The MAX Challenge of Lacey can help you change your habits of the past by creating new ones for the future. The trainers will help you dig deeper to find your full potential by guiding you and encouraging you during each class. They assist with modifications, if needed, and are available to answer any questions regarding the nutrition component of the program. The MAX is literally a family. Not only are the trainers available to help members, but members help other members, too. I have been a member since June 2018 when they opened their doors. Being part of the MAX is a lifestyle. During the past four and half years I have lost weight, inches, and the non-scale victories have shown me that I can challenge myself, set realistic goals and I can achieve them. In June of 2020 during the height of Covid I had a full hip replacement. I’m convinced that I was stronger going into that surgery and within two weeks I was back to the program remotely on “my mats” because of the closure due to the pandemic. The staff at the MAX didn’t miss a beat in March 2020 when ordered to close. They closed on a Friday and reopened via live zoom on Monday. I took advantage of their zoom classes everyday pre-op and post-op. There may be roadblocks beyond your control and you may fall down, however, REMEMBER why you set those goals to begin with and keep moving forward. Thank you to the MAX Team for keeping me on point, checking in when I’m not on the mats and helping me to live a healthier lifestyle. It’s been the best four and half years of fitness for me. The next challenge begins on January 9, 2023… but why wait!!! Start now!!!!

I joined Max Challenge because the hours accommodated my schedule. Everyday I enter the gym and I’m greeted by a big smile and by my name and it’s only 5:00 in the morning. I don’t feel intimidated by machine that I wouldn’t know how to handle but actually motivated by trainers who gives inspiration and at the same time challenges you. I know what day is cardio, what day is leg day, what day is arm day. But on those days you’ll never guess what kind of workout they throw at you. “At home, I got you!”
And they are not kidding! As a 5 AM-er, getting out of bed to head to the gym is hard enough. Getting out of bed when the temps are freezing is even harder. That’s when I decided to switch to the virtual option.
Although I worried I might feel unseen and therefore less motivated, I quickly learned that is anything but the truth. The Max instructors make EVERYONE, virtual or in-person, feel that they are seen and supported. They talk to me over the screen, provide modifications where appropriate, remind me of my current and next moves and cheer me on throughout the entire workout. And on (fair weather) days when I actually do make it into the gym, they welcome me back with open arms.
The Max is more than just a gym, it’s a community of supportive, loving people who are committed to help you reach your goals. Whether you show up in person or virtual, you will feel “at home” and you will always know that they’ve “got you!”

Just completed my first year at The Max Challenge Lacey, with great results.
Previously I tried going to the local gym … but found myself doing the same things over and over … and stopped after a short while.
The Max is different, they have structured classes that workout and strengthen your entire body, and you can’t beat the encouragement and comradery of belonging to group … It really kept me coming back every day. The fitness combined with nutritional guidance is an amazing combination.

I never thought I would be a person who works out regularly, but with the many different class times available (in person, virtual, or recorded!), the trainers running each class guiding you all the way, the other members who encourage and support eachother, the workouts being different everyday, the guidance and plans surrounding nutrition, the awesome owners and just how good you feel after each class, it's hard not to be in there regularly because it is just so different from many other gyms. I love The Max!

I love the Max in Lacey. I was able to go on vacation with my family and ride the rides and walk through the parks. Something I would not have been able to do without the Max helping me. Joining the Max of Lacey was the best thing I have ever done for myself! Before the Max, I belonged to another local gym and even though I was going often, I wasn’t seeing any results. I would jump on the treadmill and use several of the other machines but I had no direction and was truly frustrated. My clothing was tight, I lacked energy, and my confidence was at an all time low. I knew I needed a change but wasn’t sure what to do. I had seen posts about the Max and decided to see what they had to offer. I attended an informational session and was inspired by the stories shared and the genuine passion the trainers had. I decided to sign-up for a 10 week challenge and began on my birthday. I can truly say it was the best gift I ever gave myself! I The diverse workouts and the nutritional plan helped me to lose 20 pounds during the challenge. The support of the amazing trainers and other members helped me to remain consistent and encouraged me every step of the way. When the challenge was complete, I decided to continue my journey with the Max. A year and a half later, I am down 40 lbs, have an abundance of energy, and have a new found confidence. This is week number 9 for my husband and I. To say I’m thrilled is an understatement. I joined because of the advertisement Melissa Kang, the owner shared on Facebook. What she said spoke right to me. I’m in my fifties and while raising my family during my thirties and forties I stayed away from heath clubs and gyms because I was afraid of being judged. I always thought people would laugh at me. Well we showed up that first day and we felt accepted and supported. I’ve lost 21 lbs so far, and gained confidence and strength along the way. If your thinking about it and getting healthy and stronger is something you’ve been wanting, come try a class. You won’t be disappointed. Invest in yourself. You’re worth it!!!

I'm only in week 5 of my 10 week Max Challenge, but I can/will say it's been a great experience so far. Sure I moan and groan during the workouts, but I get through them and I'm back the next day for more :-)
From the minute you walk through the doors everyone makes you feel welcome. The classes are 45 minutes of a non stop workout, the instructors are fun, yet informative, they are always sending positive vibes with a smile.
5 weeks in and I already signed up to stay past the 10 week challenge, so that must tell you something about the Max Challenge experience, and as a bonus I've lost and I am still losing with 5 weeks to go... :-)
Yep it's a win/win for me. So why not Stop in, Take a class, who knows you might get hooked too :-)

I’m on week 7 of the Max Challenge at Lacey. 5 stars is not enough- I can honestly say it’s the best positive change I’ve made in a long long time. The workouts are challenging, you leave soaked almost every time. It’s truly a place for all levels of fitness, ages and goals. You’re welcomed from the first interaction and there is always a smiling face to greet you ( even at 5AM!). I see myself going beyond the ten week challenge and making this a healthy part of my life.

I gained over 50 lbs pregnant with my last baby and gained even more once i gave birth! I was in the worst shape of my life mentally and physically. My anxiety and depression reached an all time high and could barely get out of bed. I decided to try the MaX because it seemed it was a great place for people of all shapes sizes and fitness levels.
I used to be an athlete. I taught fitness classes for over 10 years at many different gyms. I got in the best shape of my life during CrossFit and even competed in competition!! But guess what - my first day at the Max - I could barely do one jumping jack. I felt terrible. I couldn’t look in the mirror. I didn’t know who the person was looking back at me.
So anyway - I stuck with it (only missed one class) and driving a half hour a day to get there. They keep me motivated and I love all the positive encouragement!! I love that anyone can do it - you can always modify to make the exercises easier or harder. I would give this more than 5 starts if I could!!! Give it a shot - you won’t regret it!!!

I joined The Max Challenge 5 weeks ago and I’m sorry it took me so long to decide to join a 10 week challenge! The fitness classes are challenging and varied every day! The nutrition program is whole food based and the recommended portions are plentiful! The motivation is amazing. After every class and on Social Media the instructors always share a motivational story and quote that speaks to me every time! The instructors are energetic and push you to work your hardest to be the best version of yourself each day. They walk around and correct your form and encourage every effort. I’m excited to attend each class, they are never boring! The members are the best! They welcome new participants with big smiles and always a story on where they were at when they first started. Members are encouraged to cheer on fellow members at each class...making for a team atmosphere! I just love it!

I love the format of the workouts and the knowledge and ability of the instructors. Whenever I complete my workout, I'm always hurting "the right way." The instructors do a great job of explaining the technique and letting you know "where you should feel it." .... and they are always right. The entire staff are terrific...and I feel confident that I can achieve personal fitness goals by listening and entrusting them.
