After moving to West Windsor Township, we were searching for the right Taekwondo school for our son. Our daughter switched to TaeKwonDo after 4 years of intense gymnastics training. We were looking for something more balanced (i.e. less than 4h/day, 5 days/week) and closer to home. 7 years later I can say that If we knew how transformative this experience would be for her, we'd never even bother with gymnastics and start training with Master Steven right away. He's got natural talent working with kids of all ages - something you wouldn't normally expect from someone who holds 4 World titles and is a 7-th degree black belt. All other masters teaching at the academy are held to the same high standards. The gym is super clean, all equipment gets necessary maintenance on time. All things considered, the classes are priced very reasonably. A nice bonus is that parents get to train for free :)

Our daughter has been going to this dojo for the past 7 years. She loves it to the core. Master Steven is very honest and punctual person. The way he train students, they get lot of confidence and morale boost. He arranges many tournaments (at least 6) in a year and students gets to practice and show their skills to other dojos. My son has been training with Master Steven for 5 years. I may embarrass my son with this, but since he started at NJ Taekwondo Kickboxing Academy, he went from timid child who froze and cried in a wrestling ring before the match even started to fierce competitor who takes initiative and takes on a leadership role in class. We have awful experience here when we are trying to cancel the lesson suspecting rheumatoid arthritis for my son, He could not attend the classes but the institute decided to continue charging me. We have phone conversation and many email - but they would not stop charging with doctor's letter. Now under covid situation we could not do much beyond few XRays to complete diagnosis. They also have not sent us the copy of the contract even after asking multiple times. I would advice folks to steer clear of this place.
