My child attended both parent and me classes as well as regular swim lessons and I unfortunately would not recommend it. The facility is filthy, the pool has to pass chemical testing for chlorine etc, but from the changing rooms to the bathrooms; it was clear nothing else was cleaned regularly.
The pool itself is SO small and I understand since we left it has been further divided into even smaller sections. After close to two years here our child learned more in two months elsewhere.

Nathan the lifeguard is ridiculous. He’s glued to his phone instead of doing his job, while he watches other people do HIS job for him. Also his attitude toward kids who need a little extra support (disabilities) is unacceptable. He’s the last person who should be in charge of anyone’s safety.

We absolutely love swimming with Miss Fareda! She has been such a wonderful instructor and role model for our son. She always leads and teaches with love and support and she always gives all of her students a fair amount of swim time while keeping the class fun. The management team there is wonderful as well and Ms Jackie is helpful and supportive as well and is always making sure everything is running smoothly. I can’t say enough great things about Njswim Sparta!

Nj swim is a great place for kids to learn how to swim. They also have parties and parents night out. The management and staff are amazing. They are great with the parents and children. I always recommend nj swim(Sparta) to anyone I know who has kids. Learning how to should an important part of life. It’s super important to know how to swim.

NJ Swim Sparta is your place if you prefer individualized approach and technique for your child rather than "more time in the water" but bent knees and arms. Both our children (6 and almost 5) have been enrolled since they were 3.5 & almost 3 respectively, both have learned and are currently perfecting different strokes. Neither of them use floaties in any pool any longer! We're very proud of their success thanks to all their former and current teachers' efforts, patience and individual approach, especially with our son who used to refuse to wear goggles and dunk his face/head into the water when he started. Just trust the process.

We LOVE NJSwim sparta. Prior to moving to Sparta our son was a student at two different schools in Westchester NY. While each of those had some positive elements, NJSwim has been the all around best. Great customer service, the coaches are amazing, gentle and patient. The space is clean and well maintained. We now have our second child in swim, and highly recommend the experience. There was a transition in ownership about 8 months ago, and we were concerned that what we loved most would change.. but it did not. Thank you for all you do for families and teaching little ones the importance of water safety.

You’d have to look long and hard to find a better group of professional and friendly swim instructors. Each one has a bright and happy personality and makes our kids feel right at home in the water. Our kids are progressing much faster than they did at the other classes we have tried. Highly recommend! The facilities are perfectly suited for one on one instruction and make it easy on us as busy parents to get our kids much needed swimming instructions.

We LOVE it here! We have been coming here for years for both of my kids. My daughter swims independently now and my other child is well on his way. We love Mrs. Amy, she is so good with the kids and so patient! They are very accommodating when we have to miss a class and with makeups. Learning to swim is so important for children and I am so happy with what they have learned here! They also do birthday parties, we did one here last year and the kids loved it!

Njswim is such an amazing place! We have swam at two of their locations and I only have positive things to say about both places. My son has been swimming there for over 3 years, he absolutely loves it and has so much fun while he is there. From the moment you walk in the door, the staff is so friendly and welcoming and willing to assist you. All of the instructors are wonderful. They are great with kids of all ages. We have also met some really amazing friends and parents there as well. It is such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Absolutely love the swim lessons for my son. He started late in the water babies program at 18 months , but learned so much . Now in preschool class he is learning so much more . We have had a few teachers between make up lessons and we have not had a bad experience . The GM Miss Amelia seems to know every student that walks in the door by name. They work to build the trust of the children they are teaching which as a parent I love .

NJ Swim has been so great for my kids! They started with the water babies class and are now doing regular classes once a week. They are so much more confident around water and have been improving their skills consistently since they started. Our daughter started swim classes when she was about a year old. She was in the water babies class with my husband and really enjoyed it. She quickly progressed to being in the pool alone, which was a difficult transition for her. All of the staff at NJ Swim Sparta were so comforting and warm to her that after a few weeks she regained her comfort in the pool and was able to progress in her lessons. She is now about to turn 3 in three months, and she has drastically improved her skills. She is able to float alone, roll over in the water and has started paddling on her belly. We love our experience at NJ Swim Sparta and especially with Amelia her instructor and the locations manager. Highly recommend!

My kids just started at NJ Swim and they both loved it & said how nice the instructor was. My daughter, who has really bad anxiety, said the instructor made her feel more comfortable. The only issue I have is they never pick up the phone, but they do respond to emails fairly quickly.

A fabulous experience for our daughter’s 5th birthday party! Super helpful staff. Nice size party room for pizza and cake. As well as a viewing area for parents to watch.

If your young one does not enjoy the classes, and spends less than 5 minutes in the water before begging to get out, be prepared to pay for an entire month of swim lessons + enrollment fees. I was also a little disenchanted that they did not make sure receipts were received on our end, after neither parent was made aware of the upfront cost amount. (All I was informed is that the classes are $30 each, then we were billed $87 after the initial class). I'm sure this transparency can vary from employee to employee, but I would still advise making sure you get all the information before signing up. Information certainly wasn't clear on our end.

I’m thrilled with the progress my daughter has made even after three sessions. Jessica C. is absolutely amazing! She was able to calm my daughters fear of being underwater, she’s so patient and knows exactly how to handle her anxiety, even singing to her while teaching her to float on her back. I was shocked and proud after two sessions that my girl was able to put her face completely under water. The staff is so nice and welcoming. I see all the amazing work they do with babies and kids of all ages! I will definitely be continuing lessons here at Sparta Swim.

I can’t say enough great things about NJ Swim! My son was the kid that hung around the pool with the big kids but never would go in! He cried if I tried to make him… but after swim lessons, and especially the ISS week, he is like a fish! He loves the pool, has so much confidence and truly learned so much! The teachers and staff are all very friendly, professional, and approachable. My child nstantly warmed up to staff both at lessons and events. Billing is made easy with automatic debit on the first of the month.
The classes are small, so each student gets a decent amount of attention, and everyone is very focused on safety. Make-ups are easy to schedule.
We've been going to NJSwim Sparta for almost 6 months, and I have only good things to say.

Best place ever! Nice, friendly and knowledgeable teachers ! Best of all your kids not only learn life saving skills but you as a parent gain peace of mind! I got real proof this past July 4 when my little one decided to go into the pool by herself, for a split second I took my eyes off of her and she got in ! It could have cost me my precious baby! Thanks to the skills that she learned at NJSwim she was able to keep her head out of the water for the most part, until we got her ! She only went under for a second! I thank NJSwim and God for keeping my baby safe!
