Honestly what is there not to love about Orange Theory! I decided to take the Hell Week challenge and it was awesome! Tarun, Kerri and all of the front desk staff are totally amazing! They are super friendly and helpful! I was treated like Orange Theory family!
I can’t tell you how much I appreciated Chris and Christina! They are so encouraging and motivating! The energy in the classes was just awesome! Not only do they encourage you but they also make sure you have proper form ensuring that you get the most out of your work out . The class definitely challenged and encouraged me to practice and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I highly recommend!!

I started OTF over 6 months ago. Before I had kids, Ia tried pretty much every workout class that didn’t involve a treadmill because I hated the idea of running on a glorified conveyer belt. After kid #2, I attempted Peloton programs for months, and I realized I wasn’t making progress and I needed the peer pressure of a workout class.
Enter OTF…it’s nearby. They have the 5:30-6:30am slot which works for my schedule. It’s varied enough that I don’t get bored and the treadmill part of the workout is very doable…even for someone like me who hates the tread. There are modifications available for every part of the workout, so even if you’re dealing with an injury (like postpartum diasisis recti) there’s a way you can easily participate in the entire class. The data you get from your heart rate monitor is great and it tells you if you’re working hard enough for your current level of fitness. There’s also the option to take a lighter class day to just move your body with zero pressure and there are frequent fitness challenges that you can opt in to if you want more of a competitive vibe.

I had such a wonderful start to my birthday at OTF! I loved having a designated station before arrival (a birthday perk!), and it was decorated so beautifully with lights and a birthday bag. I have been to many OT studios and New Prov is my favorite for a few reasons. The studio is spotless and the equipment is very well maintained. The music and speakers also sound great everywhere in the studio. But the main reason I keep going back is the staff. The new providence OTF team is the best! Alyse and Dana are amazing and made me feel so welcome joining their studio! All the coaches know how to push you to your limits especially the stare down from Coach Elit when she knows I can push myself harder 🤣 (which I appreciate). But overall genuinely all the coaches including Elit, Maryann, Christine, Anthony and Chris truly make working out fun. They all are knowledgeable and able to assist any exercise modification required for that day whether it is a progression to make it more difficult or regression if a movement is too difficult to perform that day. I would give more stars if I could. Although I’ve always been athletic and was a D1 athlete in college (20+ years ago), I have never liked to run and lifting always felt like a chore. I joined OT after recovering from an injury in the summer and falling out of shape in general after a chronic illness in early 2024. I signed up for the 8x per month to force myself to stay committed. The first day I went, my heart rate was mostly in the red, everything felt heavy, and I barely ran. I’ve now completed just 21 classes (I know this bc the app is amazing and tracks everything) and I can’t believe how much I look forward to my OT workouts. While my knees can definitely be sore after a 3 mile treadmill day (rare), overall I have so much less pain in my body. I climb up and down stairs without thinking about it. I can keep up with my teenagers. I can lift things without worrying about throwing something out. I’ve run almost 36 miles, rowed 20 miles, and hit 472 splat points (iykyk). The trainers are wonderful - how do they keep track of everything? Their voices keep me going and motivated, the music is awesome, and every single person in the New Providence team is LOVELY - encouraging, patient and supportive. My New Year’s resolution is to get my husband to join and I’ve already bought him an OT heart monitor during the Black Friday sale for the holidays!

I came to this OTF as an out of town member. I took several classes during my stay in NJ. It was a nice studio, with good coaches. I will say cleanliness was a little lacking and some of the mats were quite worn down. A little small when going over to the floor section but all in all everyone was nice and the studio did the job while away from my home studio.

So exited to share that with consistent participation in my OTF classes,my bloodwork came back great this month! I have been struggling with my pre-diabetic numbers. My A1C numbers were fluctuation between a 6.0 and 5.9 BUT this month they are going down and I am at a 5.8! That news made me so happy and inspires me to continue my OTF journey! My liver numbers were also high but have dramatically improved. All great news and I want to advocate for anyone on the fence of joining OTF to take the leap, it will pay off!!!! You will become a healthier and stronger person. I am moving in that direction. Thank you!!! Love the New Providence staff that continues to support me !

I’ve been going to otf on and off since 2017 and I’m obsessed with how Elit yells at me to be my best. Actually yells and I like it. You can and will be held accountable by her. Also if you annoy her enough over 3 years she will play you some Taylor swift against her will.
She seriously tho is the biggest supporter you will EVER have if you stick with her classes. This woman helped me in and out of the studio because under those espresso filled yells is the sweetest human being ever who loves my squishy baby as much as me. Lowered my cholesterol to 99. No statin ever was able to that. That was the only thing I did differently for 3 months twice a week. Now lowered my statin to 10 mg. I love that the instructors are knowledgeable in modifications to make floor exercises easier and more challenging as needed. Each workout can be as challenging as you want it to be so it's great for individuals of all experience levels. Orange Theory is the only workout I have consistently attended since high school sports. Even when I have fallen off the habit train, I then have been able to get back into it thanks to the community of people around the studio and also; there's so much juicy workout data and i want to keep making that data grow! it's incredibly motivating to see the stats build over time; almost like how we look at stats of sports players in fantasy football except it's you, it's real life. it's you getting better, stronger, faster, harder. I can't recommend it enough. my wife just joined and did her second class and now we have another hobby we can do together and keep ourselves even more accountable, and loose weight, get into shape or hikes and ski trips, and get stamina for ... other parts of married life too. Try it, you won't regret it.

OTF NP is amazing! I've never enjoyed cardio, but the workouts here are downright fun. They vary between strength, power, and endurance focuses and it keeps it interesting. I LOVE that I can track my fitness progress with benchmark exercises that come around every few months. And all exercises can be altered for folks with different fitness levels. Oh, and the coaches are great! <3

I go to Orangetheory at least 5 times per week. It has been a huge help during these crazy times in maintaining my physical as well as mental health. They provide a very safe environment. Masks are always in use. They sanitize the equipment in between classes and you only touch your own work stations and equipment. The staff and instructors are very up beat and encouraging. I highly recommend this fitness studio.

Each session is a different full body work out. I like the way it changes between the running machine, rowing machine and floor work out. Intense workout for about 60 minutes and then a good stretch. I like watching the heart rate on the screen, it motivates me to work harder.

Can't say enough great things about OTF New Providence. The staff are so warm, friendly and helpful, the coaches are motivating and encouraging, and the workouts are intense and awesome! I've been a member since this OTF opened in 2015. This location has the most energetic, helpful and knowledgeable coaches and the studio is always kept really clean. The welcoming front desk staff is just a bonus! What I love about OTF is that you can take your membership wherever you go, whether it's with online workouts or at another studio while on vacation. And the workouts are never the same!

I absolutely love the OTF new providence studio! I have been going there for a little over a year and every teacher I have had has been kind, motivational, and very professional while still making the classes super fun. I am so impressed with how clean the studio is!! I feel completely safe. The Coaches are pros not only in running the class but also making sure everyone is safe. I started Thanksgiving Day 2019 and have been going strong. Kept myself Quaren-toned through all of this craziness with their at home workouts until they reopened. So glad to be back!

I have been going to Orange Theory for a while now and always have great things to say about it. I love how the workouts are always different and the coaches tell us what to do, help if you are doing it wrong and push you to get out of your comfort zone.
However, I have an entire new level of appreciation of everything they have done since they re-opened after being closed.
In my opinion, they have gone above and beyond in making sure members and staff feel safe. Right now, they are operating with limited capacity so there is plenty of room and no sharing of equipment.
The gym is so clean.
I feel extremely safe and so happy to have my workouts back.

I had the opportunity to take a class at New Providence OTF after a meeting on the way to Newark airport instead of my home studio, Closter, NJ. Closter sets the bar really high for other studios and New Providence was definitely in the same league. Staff was great and other members were really nice. The class by Elit was amazing, she is a high energy, excellent coach that motivated the class throughout and was a great coach on the floor.

They have the most amazing staff and coaches who get to know you personally and take a genuine interest in your health, wellness and fitness journey. Practically my 2nd home. The studio workers make a personal effort to form a relationship with every member at the studio. The studio is run by excellent management that is readily available to help/work with members if need be; they also listen to any and all feedback. The coaches are top tier- always bringing the energy, despite the hour of the day or day of the week. This studio is unique in that it values a sense of community, often hosting workout challenges, themed workout days, or social events to bring members together. The coaches, intensity, and continuous modification of the exercises always help you bring your A game to this workout. Their schedule is awesome with classes offered almost throughout the day over the weekdays and till noon over the weekends. This makes it so much easier to stick to the workout regimen.
OTF New providence is just doesn’t focus on providing challenging workout but they invest a lot of time and effort to provide a community feeling. Overall an awesome place, with great workout and coaches. Thank you OTF.

They also pick the best music to go along with the workouts. The work outs in themselves leave me with a high calorie burn and they are always variable and intense :)

I can't say enough good things about Orangetheory and Orangetheory New Providence specifically. The Orangetheory workout is always challenging and is different everyday. I love how you can work at your own level and improve off your own baseline. I have been working out at Orangetheory for nearly 3 years and I never get bored. Orangetheory New Providence is an AMAZING community! Awesome Front Desk Team.. they know who you are and are super friendly - you are not just a number. So mad.... they called me at 9:17 for a 11 class to tell me to arrive thirty minutes early...I woke up at ten and left and got there at 10:40 not knowing about any policy because they just called me an hour before and I do not check my voicemail in the morning?? They said I could not take the class and I had to reschedule and come in a different day.T hey were very rude and clearly did not want to help me and I know they do not care if I come back or not but I had ten of my friends that I was testing the class for and we will all NEVER be going. Thanks for nothing!!

OTF New Providence has been my gym family away from home. Since September 2017 I’ve been a member and they have been amazing. The front desk staff (Dana, Dan, etc) remembering my name and understanding if I have to change my class times because of graduate school schedule. The coaches (Andy & Nick, etc) are very encouraging and pick great music. I’m 4 months into OTF nation I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m so happy people are able to see my #allout effort I put in the gym, outside of it.
