I’m really really annoyed. They advertise that they have a red light therapy machine here but leave out that it’s a tanning bed which uses UV which is not healthy at all to use. The closest location that has the red light therapy w no UV is half hour away! How irritating to drive here bc they told me they have red light therapy just to find out it’s actually a tanning bed that’s unhealthy for u w the UV so just to use the healthy red light therapy it’s a 30 min drive. Who wants to drive an extra 30 min away. They should’ve been honest and said this location doesn’t have the healthy red light therapy machine. That’s false advertisement.

Planet Fitness in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey is a new, clean, large and organized gym. The employees are friendly and the gym patrons have great gym etiquette. The gym also only costs $15 dollars a month! I'm so glad I decided to switch my gym to this planet fitness!

I bought a bottle of water with my Apple Watch here. 20 minutes later I received a notification. An attempt was made to withdraw $66 from my card. I contacted the bank and made a cancellation request. I am waiting for the result. I also warned the staff about this but they did not care. This Planet Fitness location stands out in the best way. The staff here go above and beyond. They’re constantly cleaning and deep cleaning (like actually lifting up treadmills and cleaning underneath them kind of clean) which makes the whole space feel fresh and well taken care of.
On top of that, the staff is super friendly, welcoming, cute, and just really good energy all around. Everyone is great, but Matt, Ian, and Justin are especially amazing and make the gym even more enjoyable :)

I’ve only been to three Planet Fitness locations, but this one is hands down the best. The front desk staff are always warm, friendly, and helpful. The entire gym is squeaky clean, with plenty of equipment, open space, and mats available if you want to stretch or do floor exercises.

The Black Card Spa here is the best-appointed I’ve seen. They offer cryo tables (underrated and excellent, in my opinion), massage chairs, hydro-massage beds, and wellness pods. The spa areas are private and provide a great way to wind down after a workout.

The manager, Dave, is fantastic. They’ve been having some trouble getting a new water filter for the bottle-filling station, but he went out of his way to apologize and even offered me bottled water—totally not necessary, but a great example of top-notch customer service.

And finally, if the idea of going to a gym feels intimidating—just go. This place is genuinely welcoming, with people of all ages, shapes, and sizes. You’ll feel comfortable and supported here.

Ian is great, always at the front desk ready to serve and answer any questions. Gym is great but the crowd meter is not accurate. It’s packed after work between 6-8pm. For the ab machines, they only have one of each so you have to wait. That’s my only complaint. They have tons of TVs, machines are never down or broken and the paper towels and spray are always replenished. Way better than Crunch. Also the bathrooms and locker rooms are very clean, so is the gym. I constantly see the employees walking around with cleaning supplies. The changing rooms are big so you can comfortably get ready to workout.

Joined shortly after they opened. Has been great. Well managed, clean, great equipment and they have added on to the standard machines to have more plate-based options. Seems to be starting to show its age, though. This morning there were maintenance signs on 2 machines, and 2 more in the 30-minute workout section needed some help. Wear holes in one of the massage chairs, hole in the floor tile behind one of the treadmills, locker door banged up from knocking off someone’s padlock… Hopefully they’ll stay on top of things and it’ll remain the best non-hardcore option in the area. Maintenance has been the downfall of several other once-awesome gyms in this area…

I recently left lifetime and joined this planet fitness and cannot be happier. The Hydro chair is an incredible feature that lifetime lacks. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I’ve been struggling to hit upper chest and Kevin recommended me an awesome new workout. Also Matt helped me out with the smith machine shoulder press which I wasn’t familiar with. Planet fitnesses is a great place to work out. Prices are quite reasonable and the place is clean. It's fairly new. The only concern I have is that the plastic cleaners don't always work properly as the knob or plastic trigger is defective Sometimes there is no paper in the dispenser to wipe down the machine. Management should be on top of these two issues

Very pleasant and cordial experience from gym general manager Mr. Dave. He explained me everything about the exercise machines, weights, spa, message machines, types of memberships and fees and I am very impressed with his professional and pleasant customer service. I joined the gym right on the spot by his friendly approach to me. Thank you Mr. Dave. Hopefully I can stay in the gym for a long time and take care my health needs. Appreciate it and thank you Mr. Dave. He is exceptional.

I have been going to this location since it opened. Here recently one of my friends tried to sign up but their was only one person working and they were unable to recieve a tour. This was super frustrating and made us consider going elsewhere😞 Being short staffed is not an employee problem its a MANAGEMENT PROBLEM. I have also seen a decline in the cleaning in the restrooms. Finding fecal matter that isn't yours in a restroom is uncalled for.

Worst gym service till now for me in USA. Non qualified and stupid staffs in this gym at Morristown who makes mistakes and none takes the responsibility. I have taken PF Black Card membership as early joiner in Nov 2023. They have downgraded my membership in the mid of year with no intimation. When approached, they are not sure about it. No customer care, no manager to resolve the issue. Even after cancellation of membership, they charged for one more month. Pathetic experience with PF services. Sincerely, never going to join PF again or recommend it to anyone.

I’ve been coming here for about 6 weeks with my brother, and today I decided to sign up for the black card. Danny, Ian and Justin helped me out and were very nice and helpful. Also, the place is pretty big and even during busy time I can usually find something in my set for the day to do so I never have to wait for machines. will keep coming back :)
