The ongoing "remodel" makes it extremely hard to work out in an already congested gym. Everything is on top of everything. Sun glare in the morning is unbearable when you even attempt to work out. Employees are nice. No issues there.

I enjoy this facility. While the Planet fitness model is a fitness facility unique to themselves, this facility has helped me to become healthier and more active. I enjoy working out here and look forward to it. I come in, exercise, and leave.

Staff is always friendly, pleasant, and warm. Staff is frequently observed checking solution bottles, trash cans, vacuuming, including the GM of the facility. Staff is always helpful when questions are posed. If I have ever had an issue or questions, the GM (Clayton) has been friendly, receptive, and more than willing to accommodate and make thing's right/help out.

I enjoy working out in a facility good employees, and a facility that has a good amount of functional equipment for strength and cardio and strives to maintain equipment and facilities.

The workers there are really encouraging and welcoming! The one girl with the glasses and Clayton are the ones I see the most and they are just the kindest souls!

The gym is in the middle of remodeling, but the way the staff keeps the space clean and clear for us to still work out, is great! The perks like the massage chairs and tanning booths were a bit dated, but they’re remodeling and I heard they’re making some nice changes, so I’m excited!

I’ve been to a bunch of gyms over the years and this is the cleanest, most inviting, and most encouraging environment I’ve been in! Highly recommend making this your gym!

Welcome to a budget friendly and open to all type of gym. While more evolved gym enthusiasts may benefit from a hard-core, gritty gym, this gym can keep those users busy enough all the same. The core consumer though are those who are newer to gyms or only moderately committed to working out. It has something for everyone. Been a member for 2+years. Fav Planet fitness to attend but today 8/26/25... Today I kindly asked if I myself could clean the shower so that I can use it after a 2hr w/o... I was told "no" which is fine but then I was asked what's wrong 🤔. OBVIOUSLY....so I then told the workers that the showers are filthy...which then I was told they are washed everyday. I know for a fact they are not because I personally been paying attention 💯 when I use the facilities. There's gum and all kinds of stain marks in all showers which have been for a while now. The only problem i have with the gym!

Literally playing “What Does The Fox Say” and the employees have no control over the music, so when I asked them to change it from the infamously hated song, the guy told me to “suffer through it.”

I have been with Planet Fitness for almost 4 years and for me it is a very good gigantic. I always do my routines and without looking at my phone, I put on my music and do my routines. But the guy who scans the tickets told a lady to hurry up and do my exercises so that the lady wanted that machine when there are many machines. That lady is always taking people away from the machines to do her exercises. We all pay monthly. The ugliest thing was that the guy who scans the tickets hurried me so that the lady could use the machine when there are many machines. I saw that as racism because I pay 23 dollars per month and I have been here for almost 4 years. But I did not like this, that is why today Planet Fitness would give it a 10, for this I will give it a 7. It should not be people like that, we can all use the machines. I also am affected by waiting for other people to finish to use the machines. I am not complaining, but what they did to me today and He told me this boy is so sly, very bad 😓😔😔

As it relates to Covid-19, I feel safer at my Planet Fitness than I do at my local supermarket. We’re social-distancing (Social Fitnessing), wearing masks, cleaning-up after ourselves, and generally respecting our space. It’s been a good experience since we re-opened in September. The staff is fun, and great. The gyn itself has everything you need. In the "fitness" world, planet fitness is looked down upon. This is definitely not the case. I know everyone says this online, but as an actual bodybuilder, there's everything you need. If the weights are too light, do more reps.

I've been to several locations, and it's so convenient. And, they all seem to have a high standard. I highly recommend this gym. It's only $10, unless you are smart and get the black card.

Perfectly adequate gym. Clean and well-managed. Decent range of basic equipment. Never crowded in my limited experience. Client base seems to mostly just regular folks, no musclehead or gym snob vibe. Lacks some of the amenities of pricier gyms, and I don't even know if they offer for example personal training services. But if you just want somewhere to work out and are self-directed it's a fine gym. And fees are very reasonable.

During my recent visits to Planet Fitness in the early morning hours, I was impressed by the cleanliness and spaciousness of the facility. Despite the early hour, the gym was remarkably empty, with plenty of room to move around and access to equipment without any waiting.

The abundance of benches and treadmills allowed me to complete my workouts efficiently, and I appreciated the lack of crowding, which made for a more comfortable experience.

While there are some areas for improvement, such as optimizing the layout for better flow, overall, I had a positive experience. I would certainly recommend Planet Fitness for those looking for a clean and uncrowded gym environment for their early morning workouts.

About 25% of the time the Staff is a No Show to Open. I don't know what the issue is, but it is inconvenient to the Members that travel to the Gym only to arrive at a Closed Gym. Overall the gym is well kept. Really would like someone that is capable of opening on time. I'm grateful I have a black membership and can go to Washington twshp. They always seem to open at the scheduled time. Just an update on the review. Do you ever clean the locker rooms? Lately they have been disgusting. Previous Review mentioned that this location never went back to 24hrs after Covid(PA + DE PF's DID!) even though many of us joined for that. Well this morning(4-9-24) the nice woman that opens at 4am informed us(there were about 15 folks) that she was no longer allowed to open before 5am....thus screwing those of us that work early. Apparently none of us(I know I didn't) received a Discounted Rate after they cut their hours...they've kept the money the entire time. Certainly not honorable. So I'll be requesting a refund and cancelation.

Here to write my experience to warn those with new year resolutions to pick literally any other gym in the area. This happened almost five years ago, I still have not forgotten, and I will continue to leave reviews on how this gym scammed me until the day I die. I signed up for this gym on a new years deal they had which had no cancellation fees for the year king membership which was their big advertisement point. However, I decided to upgrade my membership (pay them more money a month) so that I could bring a guest with me. At the time of upgrade, I told the employee working that I would be ending my membership in August as I was leaving for college and double checked there would be no issues with that when I upgraded my membership. They said no (I desperately wish I had written down their name). When I stopped by to end my membership before leaving, they would not let me cancel without charging me $60 dollars to cancel. I explained to them that the advertised there would be no cancellation fees and they said that did not apply to the upgraded membership (pay more money to go there and pay more money to cancel I guess). I then explained that I asked the staff member if there would be any issue in cancelling this membership in August when I left for school and they assured me there would not be. To be honest this employee was probably also in highschool at the time and didn’t understand their policies. But now I am out $60 and still keep the receipt from this transaction as proof in case Planet Fitness ever wants to do the right thing and refund me or compensate me in some way for this cancellation charge. Until then, I recommend Kennedy Fitness in the area and send everyone I know over to Mullica Hill to their gym.

Also, this issue is not specific to me because if you look at any of the negative reviews it is issues with cancellation, charging accounts after cancellations, or other money hungry type illegal behavior of this corporation.

Update 10/19, nearly 23 years into the new millennium. This remains one of the only 10+ Planet Fitnesses that I've been to across NJ and Pennsylvania that refuses to provide locks on their "lockers." I actually didn't know lockers could be fabricated without actual locks until I came to this place. Maybe I just went to a fancy public high school?

Also, a good chunk of their machines could use some WD-40.

Perks : generally not crowded
Downside (reason it's not crowded): this place skimps on the air-conditioning worse than most other planet fitnesses, which is really saying something, since PF looks at air conditioning as one of the main ways to save money in the summer, but oddly enough turns up the heat pretty horribly in the winter time. People with very low basal metabolisms who always feel cold in their treadmill sweaters will find it pleasant here. It's like grinding out reps at Grandma's.

They have good machines, good setup, nice location, staff pleasant. But the place is not climate controlled well, no air circulation, humid, smelly, and sweaty place, machines aren't kept up, entire place is not kept up, employees dont work generally. They sit around and talk trying to court each other. Its a childlike and irresponsible approach to running a business. The previous manager whom was here until spring 2022, was very detail oriented, place was super cool, airy, breezy, ventilated, no smells, the mgr would walk around and clean as would all employees, they didnt sit around and yap like in high school. Everything stinks and is hot, humid, sweaty and uncomfortable now. I cant get a good workout in due to all this grossness. To be honest, most recently, I noticed some bites on me just after I left here from the black card area recently. They need to wash the hydro covers, have bottles that work to clean, clean additionally, treadmills aren't well maintained they have rusted USB ports, shakiness so your knees get messed up, bad motors that vibrate, dirty sweat droppings from profuse sweating thats out of control. Modified stepper full body machines are not bad because not much can go wrong with them.
