I had a great experience with the gentlemen at the front desk. Unfortunately a guest at the gym (older lady) harassed one of my fellow gym friends and myself. She approached us very rudely because we were โhogging the machineโ. Austin from the front desk handled the situation very professionally. Sadly the lady called us FAT and disrespectful. We should not be treating fellow gym members like that :( . But austin was great, definitely reward him in some way <3 an amazing person!

My gym location is spacious and clean. And the staff has always been polite towards me since Iโve joined. I feel itโs hard to find good customer service in this day and age so it means a lot to me when there are friendly and good staff members here.

We were visiting my parents in New Jersey over a weekend and wanted to still go to the gym once or twice when we were up there. Our home gym is in NC, but I have a Black Card membership, so I can visit other gyms from time to time. I noticed that this gym is maybe 1/3 smaller than my home gym, which is fine. It meant to me that it looked a little more crowded and that the machines were closer together. We really enjoyed the stair climber machines at this gym because they seemed newer than the ones at our home gym. We also really liked the 30-minute circuit room (our home gym does not have that, either) and the calf extension machine. The parking lot is a little tight and shares space with a lot of other shops, so parking can be a little hard to find depending on when you go. But, we did enjoy this location and would definitely come back when we come to visit our parents again.

used the massage chairs and my massage JUST ended. Less than 30 seconds ago and someone comes in ASSIGNED to the chair i am in waiting for me to get out, Its been 30 seconds there is a second chair. Why wasnโt that one assigned? I didnt even get a SECOND to get out of the chair OR clean it.

Ive called, emailed and even shown up trying to have my account deactivated because they keep charging me. And now Iโm being told I have to pay to send out a letter or come back again to deal with my account and after previously emailing the company, I all of a sudden have an overdue balance???? How do I have an overdue balance when you guys have been charging me? Riddle me that. Iโll be in soon to cancel my account and Iโll make sure I get some documentation this time.

An excellent facility with a staff that is very attentive. Restrooms are immaculate the tanning facility, as well as the massage chair and hydrotherapy lounge is a great way to decompress after your work out. All of this at an incredible monthly fee.

I'm so disappointed in this location. The management sucks. I never had a issue with my cards. All if a sudden there Missing a number. Not my fault if someone entered it in wrong.. now a late fee you wont take the late fee off. Unbelievable!!!! You deserve no stars..

Planet fitness loves to advertise like they are no membership fee, $15 a month pay as you go, ONLY. But keep in mind they also bill you $52.00 a month after you start saying it's an "annual fee"....so just since they purposely are vague and not clear with pricing ON PURPOSE, just letting people know that don't be surprised after you think you're just going to be paying $15 a month every month, that you get billed $52.00 the next time they take money out. And the "manager" at the gym is very rude and condescending, I would use a choice word if this weren't a public forum, when simply asking about why the fee popped up in the first place. And I know that tone. She probably deals with these calls all the time knowing damn well most people are likely tricked by this but she gets to just say "it's in the agreement you signed".....I paid in person and signed an electronic pad, there was no "agreement" I looked at. And if that's very much purposely hidden, the person helping you sign up should legally and morally have to tell you what's on the "agreement" you're signing, because obviously they don't give you a print out of what you sign, therefore a customer isn't aware, and that's how you SCAM people.

One more thing.....it shouldn't take over a month to fix a machine that there are only TWO of. Or fix the closed captions on just one of the TV screens.

The staff is very friendly. The facilities are often cleaned by the staff. Most of the clients wipe down the machines after using them. I f a piece of equipment is broken it is quickly repaired. I am getting good value for the inexpensive monthly fee.I always enjoy coming to Planet Fitness to do my daily workouts.

I've been coming to this gym for years. The staff is great and it's not too busy at the times that I come. The only thing I wish was different was the cleanliness of the showers. They look like they've been skipped a few too many times (black/orange stains). It can be discouraging for people who want to shower before work/events after working out.

I can't get to any of the shops in this plaza because the morons that come to this gym park in the spots reserved, literally reserved, for other businesses.
The owner needs to move the gym to the back of the plaza where kohls and the old Foodtown used to be.

I've been a member for 2 months and I'm loving it .Staff is very friendly and for the most part the place is very clean. Only 2 things could be better, #1 the massage and hydro massage chairs seem to be out of order pretty frequently and #2 for the most part at least 75% of the members wipe down the machines after they use them Maybe they can put a reminder sign up at the front desk as a reminder to wipe them down for consideration of the other members Just a suggestion

Tome River South facility is run so well. Ryan and staff are not only great business-persons, my wife and I consider them family. We have been working out there for ten plus years four days a week. I never saw a staff run around to ensure the facility is clean, stocked with equipment, etc.

How are they all broken?Just ridiculous. And I have to clean the bed the majority of the time because employees DO NOT I even had a young man say 1 day let me just clean the bed, literally walked back there n came right back!! Needless to say I had to clean in myself! Enough is Enough, train these young adults or even supervise them! Oh & your lucky if someone picks up the phone 1/2 the time. More people need to complain or nothing will change! And yes I've already spoke to management in the past. No manager today ( superbly sun) was told she'd be back Wed!

Extremely clean gym. I have heard that during the 6-8A.M. hours it gets crowded. I have not experienced that myself. I usually go in the predawn time frame about 3:30-4:00 A.M.The A.M. staff is very helpful. Well worth the black card membership.
UPDATE: Still an extremely clean gym. Very friendly staff at 3:30 in the morning. Machines are kept up with, and maintenance properly done. Very happy with my black card membership.

I find coming to this location is much cleaner and the staff is much more friendly compared to the other location north of my house, when it comes to the tanning beds they are very clean here compared to the other PF. I recommend one thing that every machine be cleaned a little better tho they are pretty dusty. But other than that I would highly recommend this location to anyone.
