Just joined Powerhouse Gym of Mahwah today (my husbands been a member for a while) as they had an awesome Labor Day deal that I could not pass up.

My overall experience today was awesome (it’s been about two years since joining a gym). It’s a large facility - machines are not on top of each other, which I appreciate. The facility is very clean. Theres so many different types of equipment to help you reach your goals and the staff is very friendly.

Very glad I finally took the plunge to get back into my health and fitness routine before the upcoming holidays. Excited to see where Powerhouse takes me.

Can’t say enough good things about my experience with Powerhouse!

Been a gym rat for many years but never had anything like this .

Everything is so personal! The staff treat me like a celebrity not just another member. Not just one , but each and everyone that works there. And it’s so sincere.

You can’t just “ train “ good people , you start by hiring good people and then making sure they feel appreciated and rewarded for going above and beyond.

Appointing Eric to the role of Manager was a major step.! His leadership is evident at every level. Mature beyond his age, he reflects the personal and professional traits any company would want at the helm .

Eric, Peter , Spencer , Noah, Ainsley, Morgan , and Chance , are all shining examples of the “right stuff “, the kind of people that do it right day in and day out , not because they
“ have to “, rather because they “ want to “!

Eric sets the example and they take it from there.

Can’t thank them enough for all they do that causes me to see them as “ family “, and Powerhouse as “ home “!!

One of the most verastile.gyms in all of New jersey.....this gym has a full floor for bodybuilding, wellness, and overall general fitness....a brand new powerlifting room that is plenty sufficient, speaking as a ex powerlifter with 2 state records so I would know....and the smoothie bar is always a hit after a great workout....any shake is good especially the smores and the mint condition

Joined this gym after going to Lifetime for a few years. Powerhouse is not only super clean but offers a great variety of new equipment and great customer service. I highly recommend for someone looking for a nice gym at an affordable price.

I look for a strong environment to workout and continue working on my health journey. The community is positive and safe during my time at the location.
My feedback is:
1) The electronic key pad to enter the building is poor. An upgrade would be very appreciated by members.
2) I spent 35 yrs in Beverage Management and Manufacturing- I know sanitation processes and procedures very well. Men’s room has lots of opportunities.
3) Water fountain needs sanitation. There should never be anything black by water. Black means mold… take a look.

I’ve managed factories and know facility housekeepers is challenging. But since you asked I gave my honest feedback.

Best gym ever! 10/10 recommend. The membership may be a bit pricey for some people but it is completely worth it. The machines are all up to date. Energy drinks, protein shakes, and post workout meals are sold there. They have workout classes, a separate room for punching bags, a sauna, vitamin IV drip, acupuncture, and so much more. The staff there is exceptional and always so nice! Everyone there is there to seriously workout. It is not a gym where annoying kids go (ie: 24 hour fitness which is why I switched lol). It is a gym for someone who wants a serious workout. This has been the best gym I’ve joined so far and I will never cancel my membership. I encourage you to try this gym out and see if you like it as much as I do!

Join the powerhouse gym in mahwah New Jersey. I had no knowledge really of using any of their equipment. I am using an online program and I have like I said no knowledge of using the equipment. Powerhouse gym gives you a one-time session with a personal trainer. The personal trainer I had was named Morgan. Let me tell you you will love her. As soon as I walked in I could tell, she was going to be great she made me feel so at ease, I had never worked on any equipment in a gym before. She is really amazing , so much so that I paid for three sessions with Morgan, as I will be doing my own workout specially planned for me. But if you need a personal trainer at the mahwah powerhouse gym ask for Morgan I'm telling you you won't go wrong you're going to love her she's amazing. Just call the mahwah powerhouse gym. I was also amazed at the beautiful gym they have and the equipment it's amazing top-notch stuff. The staff at the front desk when you walk in are super nice also, you will like them as well. The gym is so clean you won't believe it. They also have a recovery room with red light therapy a sauna and one of those ice bath or cold water bath whatever you call it they have it. The locker rooms with showers are super clean. They have some other amenities too I just can't remember right now. They also have posing room I thought that was cool. I never had the confidence to go join a gym. Soon as I walked in there I felt this is the place yep so if you're looking for a great gym go to mahwah powerhouse gym You're going to love it I'm already hooked

This is a quality good gym in Mahwah/Ramsey NJ area. I appreciate the large variety of machines and different rooms like heavy lifting, cold plunge, tanning, posing, stretching etc - been a member for over a month and haven’t had to wait for a machine yet.
