RiseFIT classes are AMAZING. I don't live in the area but I wish I did just so I could go to this gym. It's that good! I stop in whenever I am in town. The workouts are very CHALLENGING, creative and fun. The facility is spacious and clean, and the equipment is state-of-the-art. Rob watches for correct form, which is really important to me. My goal is to get the hardest workout possible, but the workouts seem scalable for newbies. I go to a lot of different types of workout classes and gyms in NJ and MA and this one is top tier.

I'm very happy at RiseFIT! The total body workouts are challenging, but there is always an opportunity to modify if you need to. I love that there is ample space to move around. They truly care about your progress and overall well being. No two classes are the same and you’re always left feeling the perfect amount of sore all while leaving the class injury free. They cultivate a safe, supportive environment and give you personalized attention that makes you feel you’re at home with family. Everyone from the trainers and staff, to its members are so kind and welcoming. They push you to break through that “I can’t” mentality which allows you to do more than you ever thought you could physically...and is something you can apply to life outside the gym as well. THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR. Show up consistently for a couple months and you'll feel dramatic improvements in strength, mobility, energy, and overall well-being. Show up consistently for 6 months and you will be transformed. Show up for a year and you'll feel ten years younger. Rob is the master of movement and his trainers and staff are uniformly excellent. The classes scale extremely well from beginner to hard core fitness enthusiast. Just go.

If you are looking for a space to start getting in shape or to increase your overall fitness level - RiseFit is the place! Rob and his staff are welcoming and encouraging as they take you through each exercise. The space is not too big or small and the variety of exercises that they introduce at each session makes you stronger each time. Can't imagine my week without RiseFit workout sessions in it!

I just started working out after many, many years of a corporate, sedentary lifestyle. Everyone at Rise have been very supportive and have challenged me at the same time. I've been in classes with Sarah, Josiah, and Rob and they are all knowledgeable and ensure I am performing the exercises that fit my level, that prevent injury, and that are the most beneficial to my goals. It's MUCH more personal attention than I would get with a regular gym membership. I take the most classes with Sarah and I've been really impressed. Rise has a really positive atmosphere for all levels.

I’ve been a Rise member since 2013 taking a short hiatus while I was pregnant with my daughter. The only thing that got me back into working out was Rise! Rob and his staff are so motivating, and the work out is never boring! I’m 20 weeks pregnant now with my second and still attending! Love love love it!

Rise Fitness has changed the way I workout physically and mentally. Participating in the early morning classes is the best way to start my day. I love how each class I attend is a combination of different workouts that target every part of your body. Coach Rob, Josiah, Tony, and Sara do a great job giving directions and making each member feel comfortable. Rise is by far the best gym you will ever go to. It took me a few years of trying to find the “perfect” place to see that this was really the only one that gets it right. I think what stands out most to me is that they implement the “all around fitness approach” where it’s not just about losing weight, and you can really see why me and so many other people who go there have incredible results from it. There is an energy in the group classes that is just empowering and while sometimes challenging, it is fun and a really supportive environment. The aerial classes on the silks are great for muscle recovery and relaxation, and the five-minute meditation at the end of each class is probably one of my favorite parts about Rise. Everyone who works there is so genuinely dedicated to helping people find the perfect balance between a fit body, a healthy mind and an enlightened soul if you are open to it. There is no gimmicks, no BS packages, no random exercises that make you hate working out. Just pure intentions to help people be stronger, faster, more mobile, more flexible, and a better person overall— whatever your goal is, they will help you get there personally. Even as a college student, when I finally realized that ulimately my health is my #1 goal, coming here is the best investment I could ever make! Just beware- this place is addictive and you WILL see results! 😃

Simply put, RiseFIT is amazing. I became a member in 2012 for about 2 years and have moved away from the area since, but whenever in the area for holidays, going to Rise as much as possible is a MUST. When I lived in the area and went consistently, I was in the best shape of my life...by far! It is impossible to get bored of workouts at Rise because Rob is constantly evolving the gym with new and exciting equipment and learning new, challenging exercises.
Rob and his trainers are so knowledgeable and supportive. They will push you on a daily basis in the gym, while also reinforcing good form, nutrition and overall health.
Cannot say enough good things about RiseFIT, Rob and the other trainers!

I have never posted an online review, but felt compelled to post my thoughts on RiseFit. I have been extremely impressed with all aspects of the programs, staff and facilities. I have historically enjoyed a casual workout or outdoor jog (1 – 2x a week) but found myself stagnating at a local gym and doing the same exercises I did in my early 20s and am now in my early 40s - half the stuff I was doing probably wasn’t even beneficial. Fast forward as a friend introduced me to RiseFit and I immediately sensed their enthusiasm as well as the enthusiasm and commitment of the staff. I have been attending varying classes that fit my schedule which is great, we have hosted one of our kid’s birthday parties there and some of my other kids have done certain classes with me. If you are looking to use your workout time more productively, better focused and with better results, I highly recommend trying it out. Rob and the whole staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and will help you take the steps to meet whatever your personal goals are. I also very much like there are mindset aspects they help you to build for your goalsetting. Five stars for sure.

Rise is a special place. I've been working out there for over 3 years, and in that time I've learned so much about exercise, both for the body and mind. Rob (the owner) fosters a work hard / feel great environment. The trainers also bring lots of knowledge and positivity to each class. Rise pushes me to work out hard while making sure I'm taking care of my body. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

This place is the real deal. It’s like having the advantages of a personal trainer without the huge price tag. Each class is different and it’s doable by any skill level. You will work as hard as you decide to but they’ll encourage you to work just a tad bit harder than you think you can. Mind and body are nurtured. I’m very glad I found this place.

8 months ago I walked into RiseFit hoping it would be the solution to breaking the workout rut that I was in. My workouts had become so boring and routine, that for the first time in my life, I was actually dreading going to the gym. I knew I needed a change. After my first workout at Rise, I was hooked. The workouts, which are provided in a group setting, fly by because they're always different. Best of all, I leave each workout knowing I'm now that much stronger and healthier than I was at the beginning of the workout.
But Rise is more than just a place that provides awesome workouts by a team of trainers that genuinely care about you and your goals. It's a place that fosters an environment where the members also genuinely care about those working out beside them. The support provided by the trainers and members is something that you really need to experience to believe. It's a support that pushes you to work harder, try the next (more advanced) move, and keep moving when you want to stop.

RiseFit is a second home for me! I started taking classes over 5 years ago and still find RiseFit on the cutting edge of fitness. I was looking for a challenging workout and Rise is definitely the place.
Being over 60, I wanted to be sure that I would be able to work hard but not kill myself.
1. The workouts are always different so it is always a surprise as to what you will be suffering (doing) each class within the structured session
2. The instructors are extremely focused on everyone (even in larger 10+) classes to ensure that form is correct and you don’t injure yourself
3. The other participants are truly supportive and quietly competitive to help motivate you even on off days
I truly look forward to the workouts and enjoying the satisfaction of completing them. What more do you need?
Update: I'm still over 60 and after 2 years at Rise, I can still not recall a duplicated workout which seriously helps motivate returning. With a recent Rise program to adjust eating habits, I can see my abs (which I am sure were always there) for the first time probably ever.

I wanted to mix-up my normal workout routine after having plateaued. I was looking for obvious results, and strength and speed improvement. I’m not normally a “class” workout person but Rise is individually challenging and not annoyingly supportive. Class is fun thanks to expert trainers as well as “classmates.” I found it a wonderful mind/body challenge that went beyond what I was expecting.

I have been taking classes at Rise regularly for 2.5 years and as a result, I am in the best shape of my life. As a working mother of two young kids, taking a class that incorporates cardio AND strength training in one hour is amazing. The trainers are knowledgeable, motivating and most importantly take their members' safety very seriously. I love not knowing what kind of challenge I will be faced with during a workout (will it be the treadwall? hurdles? ladder drills? core work? sprints?) and no matter what, I leave Rise feeling happy and strong. I've been a RiseFit member for over three years now and enjoy each and every class I take. The members are friendly and encouraging and the trainers are top notch! What I want to focus on in this review is my come back from an injury thanks to RiseFit and Coach Rob. A little long but a MUST TELL! I have been suffering from chronic neck and shoulder pain, so much so that I cannot sleep through the night. I've seen doctors, I've had MRI's, taken anti-inflammatories, massages and so on but nothing has helped or worked and no one could tell me what was actually wrong. I was very frustrated to say the least. Coach Rob suggested that maybe it really wasn't my neck that was the issue as much as my lowerback/hips/glutes being tight and weak causing it to pull on my neck and affect that area. He started working with me one on one with stretches and light strengthening exercises. Since starting his regime my neck feels better every day, I can sleep through the night and I finally feel like my old self again! The moral to this story is RiseFit is more than just a gym. The trainers know the body very well, go to great lengths to keep everyone safe and treat you like family. I highly recommend anyone looking to add fitness to their life, along with fun and a family atmosphere, you look no further....RISEFIT is the place.

So, I just did the math. At age 50 I have been working out for 34 years. I have no doubt that in all that time, I have not encountered a fitness regimine as complete, challenging, growth producing, and safe as I have at RiseFIT. I love working out at Rise because I know every time I come to class, no matter what we're doing that day, I know I am getting the workout I NEED to give me the results I WANT. I know I'm getting a full body workout and I don't have to worry about "oh, I have to get some strength training in this week" or "did I get enough cardio in? should I do another spin class?" All I need is there. And it's nice that I don't have to come in and think about it. I don't have to think about my routine. I just come in and I'm DOING IT!

Rise has been my go to place for about 4+ years now. It is THE BEST place for a total body workout with the best coaches who work on not only motivating and encouraging you but also more importantly teaching you proper form and posture. In addition to the coaches, the Rise members are exceptional - they support and root for you. On a personal level before I started Rise, I would run into recurring episodes of lower back pain issues. Rise changed all that. Within a few months, I was getting better, stronger and was in the best shape in my life. Also, the Rise way alleviated my back issues completely. My extended family, friends and even my doctor ask me the secrets for the changes and I share my Rise story. I cannot thank Rise enough, for it changed my life style completely.

Back at rise for the summer and could not be happier! I was in the best shape I have ever been in last summer because of rise, and want to get back to where I was. Rise is not like every other gym, in every class you get a little bit of cardio, strength, and endurance. I was visiting my brother and wanted to get a good workout in that wasn't a regular gym and I found RiseFit via a Google search. HIIT classes are part of my core workout routine and this did not disappoint. The facilities were fantastic - clean, new equipment and lots of space. My instructor, Rob, was super friendly, and asked about my injuries and made sure to give me modifications in case I couldn't do one of the exercises. The folks in class were also welcoming and I felt like part of a team, even though it was my first class. The class itself was well thought out and structured, and even though it was a challenging class, Rob and the folks in class really pushed you to work out hard. I will definitely come back. I highly recommended you check this out!

I’ve been a member of Rise Fitness for about 9 months. I was looking for more than a generic gym with dumbbells, standard benches, machines and treadmills. I felt if I went that route, I’ll soon be stuck in a rut. Before joining, I was in what I call a fitness funk where I would try to get in shape, make minor progress, quickly hit a plateau, then struggle to get out of it. I quickly learned that Rise Fitness incorporated such a wide variety of exercises and philosophies, while always preaching safety. The trainers incorporate a variety of resistance training from TRX to resistance bands to kettle bells to viprs to slam balls to calisthenics and much more. And, equally as important, they put a great emphasis on building cardio, core strength and balance. I’ve lost more than 20 pounds of fat. My abs are immensely stronger. My mood and posture has improved, and I’m in much, much better health. Culturally, Rise Fitness encourages everyone to reach new heights and is open to people with varying fitness levels. All the trainers are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it.

I've taken two of Josiah's classes so far and he's great! The workouts are challenging, there's a great comradie amongst the attendees and the staff are attentive (I screwed up my upper shoulder/back and Josiah checked on me a few times to see how I was doing). One of my favorite things about Rise is the awesome instructors. They are highly educated on what they are teaching and how to teach to all levels of students, including those with limitations. I started at Rise in the Low Impact class with Lisa. Lisa is the reason I continued at Rise. She made me feel very welcome and followed up with me along the way. After getting somewhat stronger I moved onto Josiah's class and Rob's class. I was very well taken care of in each class and have continued my journey to "becoming stronger and better" as Rob says.

I had the opportunity to visit with a friend of mine (who is a member) and right away was blown away by the super friendly owner and staff as well as the welcoming and encouraging clients. It always makes me a bit nervous to try a new gym in the morning--what if I get up and its horrible and totally not worth it? Well I tried my first class this morning after dragging myself out of bed and let me tell you it was totally worth it. A good combination of cardio and strength leading to a total body workout in a very cool gym setting. I liked the team aspect of the workout the best--everyone was so nice and encouraging while working their butts off. The coaching was encouraging and motivating. I tried this class through classpass and don't live in the area but next time I am back for work, I will definitely be stopping in.

I've been a big fan of Rob, his coaches and the overall tone/vibe at Rise for years. Picking a place to go and train is hard as our area is filled with many options, and after being a consumer of a fair amount of gyms over the years, I can share with confidence that Rise is the best choice.
The atmosphere is supportive, challenging but most importantly fun. A fair balance is found between intensity and recognizing that you can't nuke the clientele. The facility is resplendent with options and Rob and his trainers are able to 'read' the class and tailor the activity to the group.

I showed up at Rise Fitness last November (2014) with a free week trial. After one session I was hooked! In short:
1. It’s the best fun, kick-ass, results-based exercise class I've experienced.
2. Rob has created a wonderful sense of community where all are welcome – regardless of shape, size, age, etc. All he asks is you give your personal best for 60 minutes.
3. Regardless of class size (8 or 20), all instructors (Josiah, Brendan and Lisa) will give you personal attention.
If you’re looking to get back into shape and want to feel good about yourself (physically and emotionally), I highly recommend you give Rise Fitness a try.

Rise Fitness is so much more than a gym! The workout is hard but fun. It seems we do something different every time: TRX, stability balls, medicine balls, Bosu, sprinting, rings, ropes, and even an occasional obstacle course. I have become friends with many people that workout here but most importantly, I have become friends with the trainers. Rob and his staff (Lisa, Josiah, Margaret) really care about each client and they have created a workout place that I look forward to going to.

After years of working out (and then NOT working out) at a regular gym, I have finally found my Happy Place at Rise. To be able to get a total body workout in every session, strengthen your core, get your heart rate up and to be able to hit all muscle groups in one workout is a dream come true! Every class, every time, is different, challenging and energizing. You're never bored, never a chance of falling into a mundane rut. Great trainers who are always enthusiastic and positive and helpful! Whatever your level of health and fitness, Rise is the place to go to become your healthiest and most fit YOU!

One word: obsessed! Prior to joining Rise, I was a member of a similar type of gym. I've seen more results in the past 6 weeks than I have in the last 4 years at my previous gym. The trainers, the workouts, and the positive energy is exactly what is needed to get me to the fitness goals I've been trying to achieve all these years. As a new member of Rise, I appreciate that the workouts are scaled based on fitness levels to accommodate the beginners and veterans. Everyone is very welcoming, encouraging, and friendly. Most importantly, unlike traditional gyms, the trainers value quality over quantity, it's all about the form. Excited to see where the next 6 months take me!

I have enjoyed my first two weeks at Rise Fitness very much! The staff has really made an effort to get to know me, my injuries, and my goals. They are very friendly and encourage everyone to push through the calisthenics. The high-ceiling, padded-floor gym with all of the equipment for TRX-like exercise is appealing. It seems that the members have made friends at the gym, so that there is a social element as well. There is plenty of room to park. I have taken low-impact Core, Pilates, and Yoga Stretch classes thus far. Even the sign-in is tech-smart, with a large screen and touch screen. I recommend this club for a good, hard workout in a friendly environment!!

Rise Fitness has by far exceeded my expectations. Last spring, at the age of 49, I realized that I was always tired and had gained 20 pounds over the past few years. I needed more energy to keep up with the increasing demands of work and family life, so, I enlisted a friend’s help with starting pilates. I began cycling with my husband as well. Still, I felt that I needed something more to improve my overall stamina. I took advantage of the free trial week offered at Rise Fitness and honestly thought I would be too uncoordinated to be able to follow along in class. What I discovered was a completely UNIQUE experience. Every class is filled with an ever changing variety of interesting, fun and challenging exercises that work my mind as well as my entire body. The trainers are top notch and extremely professional, encouraging team work and leadership skills that coincide perfectly with a framework I now try to adapt for use with my students as an elementary school teacher. I highly recommend Rise Fitness and am grateful for the positive mind set that fosters strength of character and body which has improved every area of my life.

I have never been more fit in my life thanks to RISE. It has taken me years to find an exercise routine that I could commit to and actually look forward to as well. Rise is the ultimate fitness facility. The staff motivates you to achieve your optimum fitness level with varied exercises focusing on: balance, cardio and strength. Robert was very nice to me. He gave me an offer of a free month for pervious members. Not only did he give me a great offer, he allowed my gf to participate as well.
I love his gym and his trainers. They are very friendly!! They are very courteous and helpful with each person working out. Their workouts are incredible.
I've done many groupons and tried many crossfit gym. CrossFit is very dangerous if not instructed properly. With Rise fitness, there is no danger. The workouts are different each time you go there. And you definitely feel the burn.

I have journeyed through many a gym. I discovered I am not a gym rat but someone who loves to engage in full physical activity. This is what you get at Rise. It is one hour of non-stop work. When you leave you have had your workout, taken care of yourself and have the rest of the day. Rob's philosophy strikes a cord with me. Coaches are encouraging and everyone succeeds. Rise Fitness gives me that mindset to take on my day whatever I face. Better than a gym, better than crossfit, you won't be disappointed.

Rise is AMAZING!!!! The classes work your whole body and I cannot say enough about the owner Rob & the staff. They go above and BEYOND!! From emailing you after class to knowing every single persons name. The best was tonight (Sunday) Josiah drove back after hours to get me my wedding rings that I forgot to put back on after boxing. I recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing workout. Rise has the best coaches willing to make you a better, stronger person every single class.
